For us, a visit to Backwood Burger is as much a part of a Harz vacation as climbing at Clip'n'Climb. The selection of burgers is huge, so there's something for every taste, the BBQ sauce is outstanding, and the service is always attentive and friendly.

We were guests at the Harzer Winkel with 5 people and two dogs and I have to say it was excellent!!! Service was super nice and open to all wishes. The food was excellent, everything was homemade and prepared with a lot of love. We were so excited that we ate there three times and always went home happy. Thank you Hinze family.🫶

We were really looking forward to the evening and the “good” meal at Saxa that had been advertised on the internet, unfortunately I had to go to the toilet at night and realize that my food was probably no longer good... There was hardly anything going on in the restaurant, perhaps the prepared food was kept in the kitchen for too long because there weren't enough visitors... It's a shame...

The schnitzel was really good. But if the first words are "You're 10 minutes late. You have to wait." Unfortunately, it's not very hospitable. Especially when the restaurant is empty. Even for 3 scoops of ice cream for the children, we had to wait until everyone else in the restaurant had their food. Unfortunately, this is a bit difficult. If you like rustic food and ambience and have enough time, this is the right place for you. Addition after “feedback”. Kindness is different. You and therefore your employees are service providers. And there was little sign of that. And we were definitely never rude or rude. Quite the opposite. We weren't the only ones who left the restaurant that evening with this feeling. Luckily we were able to enjoy fantastic dessert in an open and friendly atmosphere just around the corner.

Hello everyone, the food was very good, if the schnitzels were everywhere it would be great. Service nice and friendly The portions are decent. Vacation in the southern Harz in June, half-day trip to Bad Sachsa, beautiful place. Already looked on Google and TripAdvisor, hard to miss, well rated, the Harzer Schnitzelhaus. Warm food from 11 a.m., surprisingly well attended in the early afternoon, large selection, various waffles, plenty of different schnitzels and much more. The dog was welcome and we sat comfortably outside. The male waitress was very nice, there was water for the wuffle and even a small treat at the end when paying. We treated ourselves to a Zig. Schnitzel with fries and a schnitzel with mushrooms and onions, with fried potatoes. There was also a not-so-small mixed salad plate. Everything was very tasty and filling. Afterwards a Plauzenbügler as a nightcap. We can definitely recommend this restaurant...thumbs up. Oops, we were there again the day after. And again very satisfied. Another male waitress, also very friendly. This time there was a potato waffle with herring and a normal waffle with ice cream and yoghurt chocolate as a snack. So many variations that you would love to try....🙃 Hi

The "crispy" chicken meat was burnt, soft, dry and old, there were hardly any vegetables and the soup only contained chicken skin apart from the broth. NOT recommended!

Everything was delicious, almost everything was a bit too salty for our taste, the food was fresh, but nothing special.

Very, very tasty food. There were six of us and we all had different starters and main courses. Nobody had anything to complain about. Service was very good, attentive and quick. Ambience also very nice, wonderful Greek atmosphere. Recommended across the board.
