Wonderful place, every wish is fulfilled and the food is simply great! - the outside area could be made a little nicer. But otherwise everything is perfect!

That's what I call good feedback on criticism from the customer. Cheers! 7/19/24: Unfortunately, I have to change my review. The quality of the food is still very good. Negatively, and once again, is the possibility of making a reservation. A few months ago we spontaneously went to Bad Sachsa and although the tables were empty, we were sent away on the grounds that all seats were reserved. When we were thinking about where we could go as an alternative in front of the restaurant, we noticed that another group had a table got without having reserved in advance. When we asked, we were allowed into the restaurant. That was already a negative experience, but today it topped it all! We reserved a table online three weeks ago and also received confirmation that we would get a seat outside. When we arrived at the restaurant at the agreed time, we noticed that someone in front of us said, “We always come here and we really want a table outside” and a table was immediately prepared for this person. When I made my reservation, I was told that there were no free tables outside and that we were unlucky because there were already others who had reserved and we then had to take a seat in the restaurant. I think it's an absolute absurdity that places are given away when you're on time for the agreed date (we were even there 10 minutes beforehand) and you don't get the table you agreed on. Then you don't even need to make a reservation. It's also a shame that the only comment from the service staff was, "That's just the way it is, they were unlucky." If it hadn't been the weekend and all the other restaurants were full because the weather was good, we would have left the restaurant immediately. There was no discount, no little something for the children - nor a liquid apology like you would expect from other good restaurants. It's a shame, you really have to think about whether you want to continue to recommend the Backwood! Old: Quality and friendliness great! We'd love to come back

In Bad Sachsa am Montag Abend etwas Essen zu bekommen ist echt anspruchsvoll. Viele Restaurants haben ihren (wohlverdienten?) freien Tag. Hier aber wurden wir 15 Minuten vor Küchenschluss noch freundlich begrüßt und bekamen ein tolles Abendessen serviert. Wir können nicht genug schwärmen und möchten Euch empfehlen, dort einzukehren. Frische Zutaten und pfiffige Rezepte. TOP!

Backwood Burger in Bad Sachsa is a real insider tip and absolutely recommended! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the rustic and cozy atmosphere. The lovingly designed interior with lots of wood and stylish decorations creates a warm and inviting ambience in which you immediately feel at home. The menu offers an impressive selection of handcrafted burgers, all made fresh. I had the pleasure of trying the “Pulled Pork Burger” and absolutely loved it. The bun was baked to perfection, the meat was tender and juicy, and the combination of fresh ingredients and homemade sauces was simply unbeatable. Every bite was a delight! The side dishes also leave nothing to be desired. The fries were crispy and golden brown, and the salads were fresh and crunchy. I would particularly like to highlight the homemade dips, which give the whole thing that certain something. The service at Backwood Burger is also top notch. The staff is friendly, attentive and always strives to provide guests with a great experience. You can immediately tell that the work here is done with heart and passion. Finally, I can only say that Backwood Burger in Bad Sachsa is a must for all burger lovers. The quality of the food, the cozy atmosphere and the excellent service make this restaurant a real highlight. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can't wait to try more burger creations. Five stars are more than deserved here.

Always happy to come here! The salads and burgers are super tasty, the staff is always friendly and even when it's full, it's relatively quick. Personally, I would like 1-2 more vegetarian options (burgers and/or salads), but that's complaining at a high level. I always visit Backwood Burger when I'm here in Bad Sachsa and I'm happy to continue doing so!

Good quality food in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is part of a compound with outdoor shop, climbing walls, ice cream bar and burger bar. This Sunday evening only the burger bar was open. Friendly staff.

Backwood Burger, you were just a burner. Jasmin fulfilled our every wish, it's not easy, it's art. Apart from champagne, there wasn't any. It's not bad, that's what we had gin for. Thank you for the evening, we want a raise for Jasmin!

The food appears to be of high quality and also tastes delicious. The map could be made a little clearer, for example loaded nasty next to the other varieties, and the outside area could be made a little more comfortable, for example with a few large plants on the side of the street.

A climbing hall with an attached restaurant with a rustic look. Ambiance: Ambiance with lots of natural materials and an open concrete ceiling and open kitchen, with no real odor nuisance. You sit on wooden benches or chairs when the smaller tables are occupied. You either sit with a view of the street or the climbing hall. A spiral staircase leads up to the second floor, where you can also look directly into the climbing hall. Eat: The focus is on burgers and side dishes, which are really very tasty, but with the Mec & Cheese Balld they were a bit stingy in terms of price-performance but it's still at the limit. Service: Enough service staff, fast service, everyone very friendly.

I had been in the cafe area. I don't think it's a bad thing that you have to order your food at the counter. But then brought it into place. The staff is super friendly. I would pay a visit there again. Oh, the toilets are clean and the air isn't full of unpleasant smells.

Enough choice. Friendly staff. The taste is simply great!

Unfortunately I had to wait in vain for an ice cream with my child for an hour, we then left and of course the child was more than sad!!! Service from the café catastrophe!!!!!

The food was super tasty. And everything worked out very well. We climbed there for a child's birthday and had dinner there afterwards. One star deduction for the ambience/table decoration. There is still a little room for improvement. But the kids probably didn't care about the decorations anyway. Important: food top and service top. Gladly again

Burger overall very dry. The medium ordered meat and the wholemeal rolls were not particularly tasty and dry. Almost 16 is already a house number.

A solid and tasty burger. The waiting time for our ordered dishes was very manageable. The service is very attentive and friendly. You can eat very well.

Stopped in with 12 MTB riders. Despite the fact that it only opened 30 minutes later, we were already offered seats and alternatives such as ice cream and soft drinks. Very flexible. Thank you very much, we would be happy to come back.

Cozy restaurant, with a possibility to sit outside when the weather is nice. Delicious food and friendly service. Recommended! Our dog was able to come along without any problems.

Unfortunately there is no nice spice to support the taste. You should point out to your customers that if they reorder they will pay the full price plus the extra surcharge.

Really really good and tasty burgers. The fries are great and I can only recommend the smoky mayo. The mac'n'cheese on the burger was a perfect fit. The service was super friendly and you got your food quickly. Really one of the best burger places I've been to in a long time.

The food is amazing. You can look into the kitchen. You are welcomed very friendly and often asked how it works and you have a beautiful view of this awesome climbing hall. It's very fun to eat there. Unfortunately, I was only a guest in the town of Bad Sachsa

The selection of food and drinks is convincing, sufficient and tasty. There is something for everybody. Service was courteous and friendly, including when making reservations.

Top service, great food can only be recommended

First of all, the food is absolutely great. The rest was probably just stupid. So we stood at the entrance to be assigned a seat, but unfortunately, without paying any attention, an employee kept walking past without saying a word. When we were finally seated we were given seats in a kind of glass display case with a view of the climbing park, so the whole store has a nice atmosphere but it was like a storage room. As was to be expected, we were forgotten there again. The staff was still friendly but it wasn't a nice visit for a lot of money.

Extremely delicious burgers, fries, sauces, chicken nuggets. Everything was super freshly prepared. The chicken nuggets are also homemade. We recommend!

Overall, the food was really tasty, we had 3 small criticisms, which is why we didn't give it 5 stars for the food. 1. the bacon wasn't crispy/should have been fried longer 2. We found the patty to be too thick, but it was smaller than the bun, flatter would have been easier to eat and there would have been meat everywhere 3. the toffee sauce on the brownie was quite bitter, the brownie itself was very tasty The burger selection was good and the staff was very nice.

The atmosphere is great, as is the service. There is still room for improvement when preparing the food and drinks. Just a burger without a small side salad always looks a bit bland. The limos also look much more attractive with a little decoration.

The burgers are amazing! From the classic cheeseburger to the “Swiss” one, there is something for everyone. The staff is super nice and attentive. The staff also has great understanding for children who are unwell! Thank you very much for this! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures. The only solution is to go by and take pictures yourself!

Great service, delicious food and great ambience thanks to the modern furnishings.

Today we spontaneously visited the “Backwood Burger” after the indoor playground. Despite the fact that we didn't make a reservation, we got a place for 7 people (4 adults, 3 children). The order went very quickly and smoothly. The children were offered painting supplies. 10 minutes after ordering we got our food. That was great. Unfortunately at this point we neither had our drinks nor the cutlery to eat the burgers. The waiter seemed slightly overwhelmed when we asked him to bring us cutlery. The drinks followed 1 minute later. Here we discussed the cutlery issue again and we got some straight away. The burgers were all delicious. Here you can choose between different bun variants and the doneness of the patty. Unfortunately, there was a lot of sauce on the burgers, which is why you couldn't taste much of the individual components. That was very annoying. The children's meals were all great. The home-made nuggets were particularly praised. Unfortunately, there was too much ketchup on the children's burger, which made it very difficult to eat. All in all a good restaurant. The timing, cuisine and service still need to be fine-tuned.

Super nice service, very tasty food, great, very hot sauce. Very loud because of a children's birthday party and the adjacent climbing hall. But it was bearable. The food made everything good again. Super tasty mozzarella sticks.

Had a burger here on March 23, 24 before climbing. We had reserved the slot online beforehand, which was quite uncomplicated. The ambience with the uncovered ceilings and the view into the climbing room was really great. Ordering and delivery of food and drinks was pretty quick. The burgers and fries were very tasty. We really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly. Toilets were clean. Not cheap in price, but still recommended. 👍🏻

We really enjoyed our meal at Backwood Burger. (And we're not easy to please!) The food was very tasty - fresh, flavorful and nice portion size, well presented. The two girls who served us were friendly, quick and answered our questions very nicely. While we were eating we looked at the climbing hall - for us over 50 - interesting and something different. Everything was clean and very well maintained (including the toilets). Our conclusion: Highly recommended!!

I ordered a cheeseburger with sweet potatoes. Unfortunately I don't find the price/performance ratio suitable. Unfortunately the cheese was missing and it tasted like the BigMac from McDonalds... Afterwards I ordered a cheesecake that felt like it had only thawed briefly.

Service at the table 5 stars 👍 Burger buns (classic) taste bland. A bit dry. The Caesar Burger generally doesn't have a taste explosion. The Swiss was more tasteful. The fries again deserve 5 stars.
