Very tasty food. The service is very nice and friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant.

I had the house style schnitzel. The fried potatoes were soft and burnt at the same time. The meat of the schnitzel was a 3/10, the pannade was a 2/10 but it was very fatty. The bacon had a strange aftertaste.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel at home, the entire staff is super friendly and accommodating. We ordered a Swiss Schnitzel and a Fanny Schnitzel, both of which were terrific. To top it all off, we had an apple strudel waffle for dessert. We get around a lot, but food THAT good is rare. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!

We have been here more often now - in fact it is part of almost every visit to the Harz. Our children are always keen on the waffles, which are available in a huge XXXXL selection in the afternoon. Very tasty and the staff has always been very nice and friendly and professional and attentive. Everything's fine. We can also recommend the schnitzel variations, but the highlight for us are the waffles.

Unfortunately, the lettuce served with the main course was wilted brown around the edges. The chef/waitress should have seen that. We all have eyes in our heads. The schnitzel was average, nothing special. We would have expected more at the SCHNITZELHAUS.

I can recommend it is a bit expensive but the price/performance ratio is just right.

The schnitzel was prepared in the deep fryer, the breading was dark brown, the homemade "gypsy sauce" was fine, the salad was prepared early in the morning and really wobbly at 1:30 p.m. The service is trying to be friendly.

Wir haben auf der Internet Seite schon vorher geguckt was wir essen wollen. Wo wir dann aber die Karte bekommen haben hieß es das es bei größeren Gruppen nur eine kleine Karte gibt. Sie sind uns ebenfalls nicht entgegengekommen als wir Vorschläge gemacht haben das beide glücklich werden. Für uns war das echt unprofessionell da wir nicht so eine große Gruppe waren(9 Leute)

We went to the Harzer Schnitzelhaus with the whole family and absolutely loved it! As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly. There was a children's chair so that the little ones could sit comfortably at the table. We were also brought painting supplies for the children, which was not only a great surprise, but also allowed us parents to have a relaxing time. The food was excellent. The schnitzels are tender, perfectly seasoned 👌 The atmosphere is cozy and warm, perfect for families. The staff are very attentive and ensure that you feel completely comfortable. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Harzer Schnitzelhaus to everyone – with or without children! Thank you for this great visit!

Had dinner there today. Simply great. The food was great. The service was super attentive and friendly. The ambience was very nice. Despite the fact that it was very full, you didn't have to wait long for drinks and food.

The Schnitzelhaus looks inviting from the outside, but unfortunately not from the inside. We expected something rustic and cozy, unfortunately this wasn't the case. Large room, more of a canteen feeling. Really a shame. The schnitzels were okay, but nothing more. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

A visit to this special restaurant should crown our vacation. So we ordered only savory and sweet waffle dishes, expecting to get something special. Unfortunately, the expectations were set far too high and some of the waffles did not correspond to the description on the menu. If it is e.g. For example, if the menu says "baked with cheese", then that definitely doesn't mean the raw cheese cubes lying on top. So the food was OK, but nothing more than that. In any case, for us we wouldn't classify this restaurant as more than an experience restaurant. This review represents solely our opinion, which is partly subjective and partly objective. Feel free to make your expectations and don't always let others guide you! Have fun!

We ate here at the start of our vacation. Since it was Boxing Day, there was a holiday menu. The portions are large and were very tasty. Despite the waitress's mistake, the other food was brought straight away and we received a small compensation. We can recommend the restaurant without hesitation 😊

Super nice, even when the hut is full. The waiters always took their time and even had a place for the dog. A separate water bowl at the table, water and food at the entrance. The food was delicious and the house beer was also highly recommended. So we weren't just there on Sunday, but again on Friday before we went back on vacation.

Went there yesterday after a hike for waffles and coffee and ate schnitzel at a later date. The selection of schnitzels is large and you can hardly decide on a dish. There are also other dishes that sound very tasty. The service was fantastic and we received a very friendly welcome. The food came quickly and tasted great. We'll definitely come back again ;)

If you want to eat a good schnitzel, you're in good hands here. I thought it was great that I could get a gluten-free breaded schnitzel, and all the sauces are also gluten-free. We'll definitely be back!

In my opinion, the schnitzel and the side dishes were not to my taste. Service and ambience were A1.

Very nice staff. Schnitzel and fries were great. BUT: Guys, it's been in the media a lot now how dangerous lettuce is to your health. I worked in restaurant kitchens for a long time myself and it is the management's job to encourage employees not to serve spoiled food. So do it! And by the way: salad was given in a separate container. So there was NO contact between the schnitzel/fries and the salad. Regarding your answer: it's a shame that you react to justified criticism with such pettiness and criticize my language. This brings up the question of how serious your apology is. I think my criticism is really mild considering the fact that such rotten lettuce often leads to serious illnesses.

Everything is right here! We even went here twice on a gray weekend in November. The waffles and schnitzels are great! Just like the service. The room with the old oven has a lot of charm.

For a schnitzel house - so-so... it could be better!

Were there yesterday and had a really good meal. Our son got a painting kit and our dog got a bowl of water. Food was brought quickly and we were asked again and again if everything was OK. When we paid we were given sweets, our son was given a small bag of gummy bears and our dog was given a treat. We would always eat there again when we are in Bad Sachsa. It's best to expand into the Cuxhaven district 🤗😉

Delicious food at good prices. The ambience is simply a matter of taste. But it was clean and everything was tidy.

Nice, warm atmosphere, nice and attentive service. Food: I had the schnitzel with fries and pepper cream sauce. Beforehand there was a lush and delicious salad. Taste was good. 3 times there was a very solid, tough piece in there. I found the size to be a bit too small for the price. Completely sufficient for normal eaters. The pepper cream sauce was excellent. Since the food is the most important thing to me, I deducted a whole star from the overall rating.

Wir waren am 26.10.2024 zum Abendessen. Das Personal wart sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war Haxenabend und ich hatte als Vorspeise eine Tomatensuppe. Hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Hauptgericht eine Haxe mit Sauerkraut war auch sehr lecker. Die Haxe war schön kross trotzdem konnte ich die Kruste noch gut beissen. Die Klösse gegen Bratkartoffeln auszutauschen war auch kein Problem. Meine Frau hatte eine Roulade mit Rotkohl und Klößen. Was Ihr auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Zum Nachtisch gab es für sie eine Waffel. Das bot sich bei der Lokation (Waffelbäckerei) förmlich an. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Echte Duitse sfeer, heerlijk eten, grote porties en lekkere verse wafels toe. Niet het goedkoopste restaurant in Bad Sachsa maar zeer de moeite waard om hier te eten als je in de buurt verblijft. Wel oppassen voor het personeel dat met volle borden door de gang rent.

Nice food. Adjust the sizes of the dishes and cozy atmosphere. However, the waiter was a little too fast. We didn't finish eating before they asked about our service. You felt a bit like they wanted to get one out the door again.

October 17, 2024 I had reserved a table online in advance. Always works well. The boss led us to our table. The staff here is always really friendly and there is a relaxed atmosphere here. That's exactly why you can have a small celebration here. We all had schnitzel again. Blueberry sour cream schnitzel, Jägerschnitzel with extra onions. Meat tastes good and makes a good impression of quality. There was also dessert. A nice iced chocolate. Waffles with ice cream. You can't go wrong here! The next birthday is coming. The price for six people with dessert and several drinks is around €215. Credit card payment is possible. October 17, 2023 Been here again for my birthday. Everything was again very tasty, the service was very friendly and at the end there was a little something from the restaurant for our birthday. Celebrated here for the second year in a row and it was beautiful again. 2022. For my birthday on Monday, I wanted to take my friends to a new restaurant or one that we haven't visited yet. That's how I came across the Schnitzelhaus a good week ago. I reserved online beforehand. Everything went well too. The size of the restaurant is reminiscent of an Asian one. Place our order and our soup was quickly at the table. Taste OK. For the main course I had the Tyrolean schnitzel with croquettes and salad. The schnitzel is gratinated with pears and cheese and served with cranberries. It was very tasty, but not an excessive portion. But was satisfied. For dessert there was a waffle with a scoop of ice cream and cream. A little sadness. The window sills need to be freed from the spider web. That doesn't look nice. Still full marks!

The food tasted very good. Unfortunately, a larger group came than registered and the boss took all the orders himself instead of handing them over to his staff, so the guests who were already there were ignored in the service and were put off. Maybe we should work on that 😉.

If you are on holiday in Germany from the Netherlands, you should also eat a good schnitzel, and what better place to do that than at Harzer? The variants they offer are really tasty, I had the Western schnitzel myself, perfect! Service was good and fast, and the atmosphere is really typical German, lovely! Definitely recommended and we will definitely go there again when we are in the area.

Schnitzel house in the evening, fresh apple pie and a huge selection of waffles in the afternoon. The atmosphere is very nice, lots of seating, even outside when the weather is good. Service is professional and friendly. Lots of little details - from mini biscuits with coffee to autumnal table decorations.
