Came across it by chance because we were visiting someone in the spa, very tasty food and it's really great that you can put together your own grill plate, for example, and there is a huge selection of starters, we'll definitely go here again there.

Everything is right with Zeus. Great food in terms of taste and how it is prepared. Lots of vegetarian dishes. The service is also excellent. We will be back.

We came here as a family to eat together. First of all, the service staff were very friendly and served us very courteously. Then came the appetizers that we had ordered together. Here a dish was put on the table that we had not even ordered. After we mentioned this, the waiter made it clear to us that we should eat this now since we had finally ordered it. Afterwards the main courses came to the table, which we generally enjoyed. However, one of them had medium length blonde hair (none of us have this hair color). The food was taken back without any problem but was not replaced or any other accommodation shown. All in all, we would not recommend the restaurant due to the service of the older main waiter, who, in our opinion, was obviously friendly to regular guests but only showed very superficial friendliness towards us.

By far the best Greek food outside of Greece. Finally authentic Greek cuisine in our region. Very good ingredients and absolutely worth the price. A lot of joy, dedication and love can be felt here in the kitchen and in the service. A heartfelt recommendation

The service did not keep up with the orders (it took a long time to place the order and some orders were forgotten and other unordered ones were delivered which were forced on us). There is also no vegetarian main course and there was a hair in one of the dishes. A pity!!!! We've been there many times and we really liked it

We were there with 7 people. Very nice restaurant, friendly service. Good menu, delicious food. Unfortunately, the rather small portions spoil the good impression. For the prices, which are not exactly low, I expect more. A pity. That used to be better. We actually know the place, but we haven't been here for a while. I think that as soon as that happens we won't be visiting Zeus anymore.

I ordered a lamb fillet with potatoes and rosemary. It was very tasty. There is also a buffet with salads that everyone can choose for themselves. Very nice service, very clean place. I liked it there, and I visit this restaurant quite often. After a year, I visited the restaurant again: The salad buffet was closed, and the food... Oh well. I liked it better before... The advantage of the place is clean white tablecloths and cloth napkins (not paper ones)

Everything is perfect here, very fine food, very friendly service and a wonderful ambience. The food is exceptional, Mediterranean fine cuisine with a very good price-performance ratio. We can only recommend this. The journey from Warendorf here is worth it!

I can't remember ever having enjoyed such good Greek appetizers. There were two of us here and we had 8 different starters. What can I say, the food was a revelation. Great ambience, very friendly service, a MUST for every visitor to Bad Iburg and definitely recommended…

The slightly different Greek restaurant. A large selection of starters, we couldn't try them all but the ones we had were delicious. My main course was really great. Highly recommended if you want more than just a gyro plate. It's there too ;-)

Sehr kleine Gerichte, teuer, keine Salatbeilage und den Ouzo vom Haus gibt es auch nicht mehr. ☹️ Schade, wir waren früher oft hier.

Great restaurant! All starters, main courses and desserts in our group were without exception delicious and cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients and a really great combination of different Greek dishes. A tastefully furnished interior and a cozy terrace with a view of the greenery. The service was excellent; we have rarely been welcomed and looked after in such a friendly manner.

The taste of the food was very good, but the service was more than in need of improvement. The wine we ordered was only available upon request, the side dish we ordered didn't come at all, but it was on the bill. And further training should be given to ensure proper serving.

I can only recommend it. All thumbs up!

We went to the restaurant for dinner with friends. We were warmly greeted in the entrance area and had a table in the winter garden. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice with a view of the castle. The meal can be put together from several small items using the tapas principle or you can choose a main course a la cart. There is something for every taste. We liked the service and the food in a well-kept atmosphere.

We used to enjoy eating at Zeus. Not anymore. The portions are too small. Especially when it came to the fries, we all looked at whether they were serious. The gratinated gyros suggested that the chef must have been in love with how much salt there was in there. The staff show feigned friendliness, which is unfortunately extremely noticeable. Our plates had already been cleared away even though one of us was still eating. Unfortunately that was our last visit there.

A small, comfortable room to linger. The food was tasty but the portions were too small, hence one star less. We were there at the end of February, so I can only rate the ambience from inside. It was quiet and you could have a pleasant conversation.

Greek food with a difference. After switching the dishes to meze and being able to order small things, we really enjoyed ourselves at Zeus. Not the often charred pieces of meat, but good taste and tasty food quality. The service was friendly and quick, so it was a great evening. I expected the prices given this good quality. We'll definitely go there again.

Ambiance was great, the food was ok but there was very little tzatziki on the plate, there was a blob and no ouzo, you have to pay extra for everything. I know it differently. It's nice that there are other Greek restaurants where you can do better

Were there with a dog. We were welcomed very nicely. Menu absolutely sufficient. Exceptionally appetizingly prepared. Staff very attentive. We can recommend it with a clear conscience. Great ambience. Price a bit high.

Mega nice, somewhat exclusive atmosphere. The food is delicious, could look typically Greek but a little more exclusive than what we are used to. I liked it very much.

A fully occupied restaurant on a Saturday evening. There were small mistakes, but they were ironed out by the friendly staff.

New concept since summer 2023...absolutely top and recommended: Small portions as tapas to choose from with delicious rice 🍚 and salad prepared in a completely different way with a special dressing. Chicken skewer great as well as bifteki. Very nice boss and the partner too. Were there on Saturday in January.

15 fries eat cold and expensive and little.never again

Unfortunately the food got cold twice in a row. In addition, the rice we ordered was served later - at least it was warm. But cold gyros, cold liver and lamb chops just aren't that tasty... But the team is great! Only the food and the processes need a little more attention.

A comprehensive, simply delicious menu. A beautiful facility, I think from the extremely talented hands of Ms. Raters. Very good and always helpful staff. Whether fish or meat, it's just fantastic. We will be back.

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem gemütlichen Restaurant

Wie immer absolut top! Waren heute zum ersten Mal seit Umgestaltung der Karte dort und sowohl die Auswahl als auch und vor allem die Präsentation waren absolut überzeugend. Top-Service wie immer. Das Gyros mit Pitabrot ist absolut zu empfehlen, ebenso die rote Beete mit griechischem Joghurt. Danke und liebe Grüße aus Chicago.

Tolles Haus , jedoch Gyros kalt, sehr kleine Portionen! ! Wir hätten gerne noch einen Wein getrunken, jedoch interessierte den Service nicht! Dafür gab es dann auch kein Trinkgeld!

Wir kommen gerne wieder. Liebevoll zubereitete kleine griechische Tappas. Sehr schmackhaft, perfekt gewürzt und mit Liebe zubereitet. „Liebe geht eben durch den Magen“, wenn mit soviel Leidenschaft gekocht und bedient wird. Ein tolles neues Konzept in harmonischer Atmosphäre. Sandra 😊

Was ist nur aus unserem Lieblingsrestaurant Zeus geworden??? Der Service war die reinste Katastrophe. Erst wurde uns etwas gebracht, was nicht bestellt wurde..,was.aber denoch auf der Rechnung auftauchte. .Kontrolle ist hier geboten!!!dann wurden zuerst Beilagen serviert , aber die Hauptspeise liess auf sich warten..wir waren zu 6. und unsere Tochter bekam zuletzt ihr Essen.Nach mehrfacher Nachfrage..wo wir fast fertig waren .Beilage wurde vorab serviert, als wir nach ihrer Hauptspeise fragten meinte der junge Kellner..ach iss doch deine Pommer zuerst..Meine Tochter, 13 war ..wie wir sprachlos... Das Lamm war wenig und zäh..die Portion der Nr 78 war eine mehr Kinderportion. Als Entschuldigung brachte uns die Chefin Ouzo, mit den Worten es.täte ihr leid aber so könne sie ja auch endlich mittrinken... Der Abend war mehr Katastrophe als Freude. Am Nebentisch, saßen 2 Damen, welche vor uns schon dort waren und seit 1h auf ihr Essen warteten.Auf Nachfrage, wo dies bliebe..fragte die Servicekraft was sie denn nochmal bestellt hatten. Nach weiteren 30 min kam dort dann auch das Essen. Nach Nachfrage, was aus dem Zeus geworden sei ,reagierte man mit: Personalmangel, neuem Konzept . Für uns ist das Zeus keine Adresse mehr .. Sehr schade!!!!!

Die Speisen bekamen wir zeitlich unkoordiniert. Danach waren wir abgemeldet, so konnten weder Dessert oder Getränke bestellt werden! Ob es geschmeckt habe, hat auch niemanden interessiert. Service glatte 6

Sehr netter Service 👍.Das ich mir meinen Grillteller vom Fleisch, über Beilagen, selbst zusammen stellen konnte, finde ich richtig gut (Nachhaltigkeit). War ein gelungener Abend.

Neue Speisekarte, Schwerpunkt Vorspeisen, davon große Auswahl, dabei viel für Vegetarier dabei. Wir hatten ausnahmslos sehr ansprechende, frische und abwechslungsreiche Gerichte. Das hebt sich jetzt deutlich vom üblichen Griechen mit viel Fleich, Pommes und Zaziki ab.

So fährt man ein Lokal vor die Wand… Die Pommes labberig die nächsten versalzen… kleinste lieblos zubereitete Gericht.. ohne Garnitur und Salat…. unhöfliche Bedienung die keine Kritik verträgt… zuletzt dann eine Rechnung für 2 Gerichte und ein Getränk über 98. €.. das der Kellner nicht mal merkte… Bei der neuen Rechnung keine Entschuldigung oder ein Ouso .. Nie wieder….

Das neue Konzept geht voll auf! Man kann sich selbst seinen Teller zusammenstellen. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß. Qualitativ ist das Essen sehr gut. Generell gehört das Restaurant eher in die gehobenere Klasse - insbesondere für ein Griechisches Restaurant. Service und Ambiente sind exzellent! Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch für Vegetarier gab es eine tolle Auswahl. Gut fand ich auch, dass ein Klavierspieler für schöne Hintergrundmusik sorgte. Parken kann man direkt vor der Tür. Auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten, allerdings auf die Getränke. Also etwas Geduld ist von Vorteil, aber man gibt sich große Mühe, also ist die Wartezeit o.K.

Waren heute mit 3 Personen um 18.00 Uhr zum Essen da. 2 Gerichte kamen nach 20 Minuten, dort fehlte jedoch bei einem Teller Fleich, welches 10 Minuten später nachkam. Das dritte Gericht leider erst 20 Minuten später. Der Appetit war mir bis dahin vergangen. Vom Kellner wurden dann 3 Ouzo auf den Tisch gestellt, als Entschuldigung. Alle andere Gäste bekamen diesen sowieso, wenn die mit dem Essen fertig waren. Wir leider nicht. Bei der Rechnung hatten wir dann auch 4 Hauptgerichte auf dem Zettel, waren aber nur mit 3 Leuten da. Rechnung wurde mit wieder einer Wartezeit korrigiert. Nebenbei wurde beim Servieren am Nachbartisch auch mal Besteck von einem leeren Tisch auf den Boden befördert (beim Service an der Tischdecke hängen geblieben). Dieses wurde einfach wieder auf den Tisch gelegt. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut, aber der Rest war heute keine Empfehlung wert.

Schmeckt sehr gut. Die Bedingung ist der Hammer! Der Junge Bursche hat mich sehr geschmeichelt. Die 119 hat mir super geschmeckt, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen 👍 Hinzu muss ich noch beifügen das die Atmosphäre/ Ambiente mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Weiter so💪🏽 Lg Carlos

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr netten Personal. Essen war auch sehr lecker und wir konnte die Reste Problemlos und schnell einpacken lassen.

Der Laden ist nur so gut wie das Personal. Manchmal echt ein tolles Ereignis dort essen zu gehen, an anderen Tagen ein nicht so schöner Erlebnis, bei dem man Geduld und Nervenstärke mitbringen muss.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr netter Service. Trotzdem möchte ich einen Stern abziehen und zwar dafür, dass hier für die Mayo zu den Pommes 50 Cent berechnet werden. Hier meine Begründung: Wenn man ein Gericht mit Pommes bestellt, dann gehört aus meiner Sicht Mayo einfach dazu. Geld für ein bisschen Mayo zu nehmen finde ich unpassend - erst recht, wenn man für rund 70 Euro trinkt und isst. Jetzt wird man sagen…. Mayo ist ein Lebensmittel und kostet Geld. Aber mal ein netter Vergleich: wenn ich einen Kaffee bestelle, bezahl ich dann Zucker und Milch auch extra oder kostet er weniger, wenn ich ihn schwarz trinke? Das nur mal so als Denkanstoß. Es geht nicht um die 0,50 Cent, sondern darum, dass es einfach unsymphatisch wirkt, wenn man Geld für etwas nimmt, was eigentlich zur Speise selbstverständlich dazugehört.

Inhaberin und Service eine Klasse für sich! Essen sehr lecker und nicht überwürzt. Portionen etwas kleiner, aber so kann man wenigstens noch Vorspeisen und Salat genießen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder 😊

Typisch griechische Gerichte in einer schönen Atmosphäre! Sehr schmackhaft und sehr nettes Personal. Im Sommer sicherlich mit schönem Biergarten. Leider war dieser zu dieser Jahreszeit noch geschlossen.

In wunderbarer und sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre haben wir die griechische Küche genossen. Vorweg gab es einen gemischten Vorspeisenteller mit verschiedenen kalten Happen. Super toll zusammengestellt, dekoriert und serviert. Als Hauptspeise haben wir den typischen Gyros Teller und die Auberginen Pyramide mit Feta und Tomaten Basilikum Soße getestet. ALLES WAR SUPER LECKER und perfekt präsentiert. Vielen Dank für die schönen Stunden bei Euch. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Bleibt gesund.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur Empfehlen. Wurden freundlich Begrüßt und zum Tisch gebracht. Das Essen war ein „ Träumchen“ , unglaublich lecker! Das Ambiente unbeschreiblich stimmig und schön. Ein wirklich sehr sehr schönes Restaurant. Danke für dieses schönes und positives Erlebnis. War nicht mein letzter Besuch. Versprochen!!!

good food served by very pleasant staff, the salad buffet bar was freshly made each day. Because of the buffet salad is included in the main I decided to dive straight into the lamb main dish, the lamb was served in a glass cooking tray with a tomatoe sauce around it, no other veg with it. No one asked if I wanted dessert, so asked for the bill and left...

Visited here with work colleagues. They were accomodating to non-German speaking customers with a few English Menus. Good food and beer available.
