A lovely, cozy restaurant with a covered terrace. The right side from the entrance is unfortunately very noisy when it's full. I recommend the left side, which is much cozier. Reservations are accepted upon request (it's popular, so you should definitely make one). It has become a fixture in Weyhe over the years. Service and food: excellent!

For me, this is the best Greek restaurant in the entire area! Aris runs his business with dedication and passion and is also a person with a big heart! Family is still alive here! No, unfortunately not. There were 13 people, so not a particularly large group. We had to wait half an hour for drinks and another hour for the food. I asked three times for a water bowl for our dog. The service was okay. The Coke had more ice in it than Coke, and it tasted very watery. Sorry, that wasn't good.

Most of the dishes were good and appealing. The gyro with three sauces was poorly presented, overpowering the flavor. The sauces were supposed to be served separately. But at least they offered two ouzos on the house. The garden and terrace are very nice.

This was our second time here. The pizza is the size of a child's pizza, but it doesn't cost any less. Everything else was just average. You can get better food elsewhere.

Disappointing – unfortunately no longer our favorite Greek restaurant We were long-time regulars and used to value the restaurant very much – so we were all the more disappointed by our last visit. The restaurant was very busy, which in itself isn't a problem. However, the service was clearly overwhelmed. Waiting is part of the restaurant business, but after over 70 minutes for our drinks to arrive, they were left there without us asking what we wanted to eat. Only after another 25 minutes did someone come up and ask what we wanted. I also asked for a straw for my Kiba. When the straw still wasn't there after 30 minutes, my husband got up and went to ask and said that the staff was very unfriendly. When we went there, the owner became very aggressive and aggressive, asking repeatedly what the problem was. We tried to explain the problem to him three times, but he didn't understand. Then my husband said he would pay for everything. The owner suddenly said, "You don't have to pay anything," and kicked us out. Sorry, but something is just not right. That's not how you treat customers. We'll never set foot in this place again...

I've had a lot of bad experiences with the service over the past few years. The food is OK, though – there's something for vegetarians, too. However, after my last experience with the service, I won't be going there again. I've never experienced such inconsiderateness anywhere else.

First time back in a year. Still not recommended for the same reasons. The waitress was willing and apologetic wherever possible. The restaurant was full of reservations, and the kitchen couldn't keep up. Drinks arrived quickly. The appetizer (bruschetta) took a good hour and fifteen minutes. The main course, a bit of gyro with fries, came after two hours, and was completely overseasoned. My son's pizza was OK. My wife waited 2.5 hours for her salad until the very end. The salad was eventually taken away, and we just wanted to leave. In retrospect, the salad was only half edible. Too bad, it was a try after a long time.

Today we didn't eat in, but ordered and picked up food for five people. The food was very good and plentiful. I highly recommend it to everyone, whether we eat in or takeaway. We'll be happy to come back.

We had a very good meal there, the service was friendly, a bit loud, but that's partly due to the seating we had, and it wasn't a problem...nice outdoor area, and the prices are reasonable, too. We'll definitely be back! Oh...and they even managed to fit us in without a reservation...great.

There were five of us. We had a reservation for the outdoor area! Everything, absolutely everything, went perfectly! The food was delicious, and despite a large birthday party inside, it arrived quickly and hot at our table! The service was very attentive and friendly! They didn't show any signs of stress. Great staff!!! We'll be back!

Four of us were in the restaurant one evening. A very cozy summer terrace and friendly, very personable service that wasn't intrusive. THE BEST: Of course, the food selection; you don't know what to choose... I opted for a classic Greek platter with various delicacies... and the gyros was amazing, nice and crispy and well-seasoned. It was a very nice evening... 👍👍👍👍👍

We've eaten here so many times and it's always been delicious, but this time we picked up our food and were very disappointed. The meat was grilled black and tasted bitter...and so hard that my mother couldn't even chew the meat. A complaint over the phone was explained away as stress because the restaurant was so full...no apology, let alone a replacement...

Waiting is a normal part of the restaurant business, but when it takes over 70 minutes to get your food, you expect at least some kind of courtesy. Instead, when we asked, we were fobbed off with the statement: "This isn't McDonald's, this is a real restaurant." A rude and inappropriate response. We asked for some bread to pass the time – and we were charged in full for this, too. No courtesy, no sympathy, no friendly treatment. This was our last visit. A restaurant that presents wait times of over an hour as normal and that treats guests like this is no longer a good restaurant for us. A real shame.

We arrived without a reservation, and the restaurant was busy. We got a table, were immediately shown the menu, and were able to order drinks. Everyone was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a bit dry and only lukewarm. Hence one star less; otherwise, the ambiance and atmosphere were very nice. Next time, we'll just try a different dish.

A dump. This is my fourth time here, and three of those four times have left a negative impression. I've rarely experienced such unprofessional service. This was the last time I'll be there.

Our absolute favorite restaurant, and it has been for many years. The food is delicious, and the hard-working staff are always up for a laugh. I just wish they offered alternatives to dairy products (lactose) in the future. Otherwise, everything is great!

We've eaten here a few times. In our opinion, the best overall concept in the area. Food very tasty, strong service and cozy atmosphere.

Great surroundings and a lovely ambiance. We stayed in a tent with a fire to warm us up :) The staff was super friendly and even graciously accommodated our 1-year-old! The food took a while to arrive, but it was very tasty. The bifteki could have used a bit less salt, though :) We ordered a "child's portion of bofteki" for our son, which ended up feeling almost as big as mine 😅 A small bifteki with various side dishes. Very lovingly prepared. There are no desserts on the menu, but they do exist. Just ask! The tartofu ice cream (here, coconut ice cream with a caramel center) is served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Very tasty but also very sweet! We paid around €70 for three very satisfying meals, one roll, two drinks, and two desserts, which I think is totally reasonable. All in all, highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back!

Wir waren 2x mal hier: zum ersten und letzten Mal. Einen Tisch für 4 Personen wurde bereits im Februar reserviert und hatten gedacht, dass wir einen Tisch im Lokal erhalten. Dem war aber nicht so. Wir erhielten einen Tisch auf der Terrasse, die mit einem Partyzelt überdacht war. 2 Feuerpilze waren für die Wärme da. Wir bekamen einen Tisch direkt an der Plastikwand zum Garten. Dort zog es wie Hechtsuppe und auf die Nachfrage ob wir nicht einen anderen Tisch bekommen könnten , erhielten wir die Antwort, dass alle anderen 4er Tische bis 20 Uhr reserviert wären. Aber wir könnten Decken für unsere Beine kriegen. Dies lehnten wir ab, weil es nicht nur unsere Beine betraf. Der Kellnerin gefiel unsere Antwort nicht und reagierte zickig. Ein Paar mit Kindern wurde einen Tisch weiter plaziert und schienen auch nicht froh zu sein dort sitzen zu müssen. Wir gaben unsere Bestellungen auf und wurden danach noch einmal von einem anderen Kellner nach der Bestellung gefragt. Das Essen kam und wir waren nicht sehr begeistert. Der Salat kam als Vorspeise obwohl er zum Gericht gehört. U.a. hatten wir Spaghetti aglio e olio bestellt. Die Spaghetti schwammen im Wasser (Wie in einer Suppe). Beim Reis bei unseren griechischen Gerichten fehlte jegliche Würzung und war einfach fade/geschmacksneutral. Auch fehlte der Zaziki bei der Hauptspeise. Der war nur beim Salat dabei. Erst nachdem sich einer von uns bei dem Chef am Tresen beschert hat, kam eine Reaktion vom Personal. Plötzlich war doch ein andere Tisch frei. Nun waren wir aber inzwischen beim Essen und wollten nicht mehr umziehen. In der ganzen Zeit war im Lokal 2x 4er Tische frei! Als wir gingen war es ca. 19:30 Uhr und die Tische die ganze Zeitz über NICHT besetzt. Kundenfreundlichkeit ist was anderes.

The food was OK. Service was very chaotic, and some orders were incorrect. Greeks without asking for ouzo—I don't know, of course everything is more expensive, but for me, ouzo is a must. The drinks that were ordered weren't brought, although they weren't included in the bill, but still.

It's always like a short vacation with you. Super delicious food, nice service and a great ambience, especially the summer garden with the ancient olive trunk is simply wonderful and makes you feel good.

You can enjoy a good dinner there, the portions are reasonably large. When it's full it's really noisy. As for opening hours, there's one person on the phone who gives a different name than the rest of the crew.

Very bright restaurant. Reservation was not written down at all. At least there was still a table free. It took 45 minutes for our order to be taken. Food came after another hour. Unfortunately not recommended. The service ignored us.

Very large parking spaces. Appetizer of pureed fetta with 3 different flavors top. Bruschetta turns out to be generous, so make sure the main course isn't too big. Otherwise you'll be full beforehand. We had gyros with rice. The waiters are very friendly, we sometimes joke around or the waiter does. You should definitely order in advance on the weekend. During the week it doesn't matter whether you pre-order. We will come again.

Wir haben fast nur positive Bewertungen über dieses Restaurant gelesen und haben voller Vorfreude einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir auf einem Samstagabend um 18.30 dort ankamen, ahnten wir schon nichts Gutes. Der schlecht beleuchtete Parkplatz war brechend voll. Dementsprechend war natürlich auch das Restaurant voll. Mehrere größere Gruppen waren im Restaurant, dementsprechend hoch war der Geräuschpegel. Wir bekamen unseren Tisch und warteten. Gäste, die nach uns kamen, wurden vor uns bedient. Naja,wir hatten Zeit. Dann wurde unsere Bestellung aufgenommen, aber nur für die Getränke (warum auch immer)! Getränke kamen irgendwann und dann durften wir auch etwas zu essen bestellen. Der obligatorische Salat vorweg schmeckte,war aber ein bisschen langweilig. Krautsalat, eine Scheibe Tomate, Zaziki und eine Olive. Der Pep fehlte! Dann kam das Hauptgericht - Grillteller mit Reis (Pommes hätte extra gekostet - warum?) Naja, Lammfilet und Bifteki schmeckte gut aber das Suflaki und Gyros waren viel zu trocken. Zaziki nachbestellt, um das trockene Fleisch ein bisschen saftiger zu machen (6€ extra!!!). Wir waren doch sehr enttäuscht! Ach ja, da wir einen Platz direkt an einem sehr großen Fenster hatten, war der Platz sehr kalt. Draußen waren 0Grad. Wäre an der Wand kein tanzender Alexis Zorbas gemalt, hätte man nicht erahnen können, dass es ein griechisches Restaurant sein soll. Danke, aber es gibt bessere griechische Restaurants in der Nähe!

Were there for dinner. You have to like the ambience. It has us. The food was really tasty and the quantity was okay. The service would have deserved an additional star.

The meal “Gyros in Metaxa Sauce” tasted okay, but the meat was gristly and fatty. I also said this when the staff asked, but the only question they asked was that they wouldn't have to pack the rest. No, I didn't even eat a quarter and wasn't full either, but given the quality, I definitely don't need any leftovers for home! Also because of the reaction of the staff, no recommendation!!!

Service and food are good so far, portions have miraculously become smaller in recent years, but prices are getting higher... there used to be hand-shaped large flat pizzas, today they come from a pan.

Cozy atmosphere. Large parking lot, but everything was full that day. We were a group, almost all served at the same time. My meal (sorry forgot what it's called) was tasty and good portions, there was also ouzo on the house, thank you. We all ordered Greek food, I can't say anything about Italian food.

Good food and super friendly service. The large summer garden is ideal in warm temperatures. The small drawback is the somewhat expensive prices, but otherwise recommended. Went back again after a few years and unfortunately was a bit disappointed. The food was still good, but the service really needs to work on it. Careless mistakes in putting together the dishes because you don't listen properly are annoying and if that happens twice in a row, you lose interest.

We had reserved a table for eight people - in the "winter garden" - and we were assured that it would be as warm there as in the restaurant. However, the reality was that we were sitting in a tent that was being tried to be warmed up with gas and electric heaters. It was terribly cold, also because the tents didn't close properly to the ground and it was drafty and especially because the staff sometimes opened the tarpaulins to get things from the backyard. Ultimately, our group had to spend the planned "evening together" separately because a sick person had no choice but to move with his partner inside the restaurant to a table for two that was still available. And even for this emergency solution, you had to have a long discussion with the staff before you were allowed to occupy the table. All in all, an impossible situation and an imposition. The food was good except for the mousaka. However, this wasn't mousakas, just baked vegetables in tomato sauce. Properly prepared mousakas is a very complex dish, which is why it can be significantly more expensive than a simple casserole. The price for the dish served was considerably too high, even compared to the “scalloped vegetables” on the menu. It's almost irrelevant that you only got your first drinks after almost 40 minutes; We waited almost an hour for the food.

Been there several times or picked up something. The taste was really ok, but something went wrong every time. Feta was missing from the salad, fries instead of rice, salad with the meat was missing. Yesterday the dressing was missing from the salad, which was really annoying. The kitchen seems to be hopelessly overwhelmed every time. It's stupid when you fetch. You won't go there again, you'll just be out of luck. You can't eat Italian there. The noodles are usually overcooked and the lasagne is completely dry. The bottom of both pizzas was black.

Unfortunately it was very disappointing. I was looking forward to a great risotto and just got normal basmati rice with a few tiny pieces of vegetables in it. This is NOT risotto! The platter for 2 with grilled starters was huge, but everything was very saturated with fat and sometimes soapy in consistency. There is only one star for the size of the portions. The quality has probably given way to quantity

We were there for the first time today! We had a very nice evening, the staff gave us a very friendly welcome and we felt in good hands and really welcome from the start, as if we were existing customers. When we asked if we could get another table because my wife was pregnant (smokers at the next table), we were immediately assigned another one. In the end, instead of the ouzo, the woman was given a dessert without asking and we drank another ouzo with us. Hello, there were several people in the restaurant on Thursday, the order was placed and things like a beer were missing, we waited for about 45 minutes. The food was luke warm and the souwlaki were ten, it used to be there more often, I won't be going there anymore.

The food was top. The waiting time for the food was also ok. Service first class. Price performance 100% It's just a shame that dogs aren't allowed in. The rum steak was buttery soft and not dry, it was sooooo excellent. The rest of the dishes also came, pizza, pasta, gyros, all 1A. The Greek around the corner absolutely cannot keep up. Where you have to wait 1 hour for the food.

Very good food and the best tzatziki we have ever had. Highly recommended inside and out. The best “Greek” we know. And we have already been to over 30 in the Bremen, Verden, Stade, Achim or Oldenburg area.

No thanks! Despite reservations, we got a seat outside. It took almost 1.5 hours from ordering to eating and one order was simply forgotten. The cold outside and the overwhelmed service were extremely unpleasant. We won't eat there again.

That was the worst meal we've ever had. Staff completely overwhelmed, the boss shone with arrogance that was second to none. Our criticism was downplayed, no guests had ever complained, it would be due to our taste. Ridiculous!!!! The meat was completely dried out, the fries were cold and that for 3 people. Great Greek, you can eat great here, we were there again for the first time in 10 years. Everything is still as it was, just great.

Always a regular But today was there for the second time in the last 2 months and it was without words. We were there shortly before 6 p.m. and there was a second table besides us. Everything was going great with the drinks and starters, but then we waited 50 minutes for the main course and asked the waitress about it. Then it was time for another 10 minutes. Then food number 1 came and another 10 minutes later the second plate. The meat was undercooked and so full of tendons that it was inedible. From that point on, even the waitress was no longer friendly after we asked her about it again. It's a shame after so many years of loyalty.

Food was good and plentiful. The chicken is probably cooked or marinated on lava stone because it is aromatic and tender. Recommended. Only my mushroom cream sauce was a bit thin. This was tasty, but could have been a little thicker. The portion of tzatziki is worth the price, because easily enough for 2 people. Service very very friendly. Pleasant atmosphere and parking directly at the house.

What's wrong with your kitchen??? Today on April 6th, 2024 we ordered 2x filled bifteki and gyros 2 countries... Unfortunately, rolls are only available upon request, this time none were included :-( The extra portion of tzatziki was shrunk to half as usual, coleslaw Based on the portion, it's estimated to be a tablespoon... But the worst thing: what kind of meat is that??? Dry as dust, you really can't eat it. Bifteki is actually supposed to be minced meat. It was a light, indefinable meat, where all of it We were wondering what it was... we used to like to go to the store or pick it up. But it was the worst food we've eaten in a long time... or not, because half of it is now in the trash . In addition, according to the map on the homepage, I get a price of 53.40€. But we paid over 60 euros on site, pick up. We are disappointed, we like to pay more for good food, but what was it today? :-((

We were guests on Easter Sunday with 5 people. Different starters and main courses were ordered. Every dish was delicious. The restaurant was full, but the staff had everything under control and were very friendly. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.
