Delicious food and friendly service

The food was delicious. Unfortunately the wrong drinks were served.

The food was great but the journey to get there was borderline. In short: the blonde waitress with the sprayed lips should look for another job. Thinking and service are alien to her. She brings the appetizer and no cutlery. Then she finally brings cutlery - but only for one person as requested. Asked again for cutlery and their answer: how do you want more cutlery? Yes, because there are three of us. After what felt like an eternity she brought the food but an order was missing. The other, much more committed lady brought it to us. The woman was an imposition. When she ordered the second drink she seemed visibly annoyed. It doesn't work like that. The service seemed very uncoordinated...from the drinks to the order to the food, everything took far too long.

We were back in Irodion after 2 years. Prices have increased significantly, as everywhere else. 5€ for 0.4l soft drinks is already sporty. Portions are decently sized. With 2 service staff who also had to make drinks, things got tight with over 20 tables occupied. Ambiance unchanged. There wasn't enough bread for the tzatziki starter, but more was added upon request. Ketchup 60 cents per pack.

Very nice Greek restaurant in Horumersiel. Nice service and friendly service. I'm always happy when there's liver and here it was very tasty. Unfortunately there are no mussels and no octopus on the menu. There are probably too many other fish restaurants in town for that. But my daughter really enjoyed the squid rings and they were nice and crispy on the outside and tender and not tough on the inside.

2 adults and 2 children 7/4 Eat gyros with suflaki 2x and children's plate gyros and nuggets. The service is exemplary, the two of us rock the place in service. Really good. The food tasted very good and the plates were well filled. Food came promptly, drinks too. Ouzo was on the house as you know it. We would like to come again.

Sensational: menu after 10 seconds, drink (Jever Fun - €4.50! -) after 1 minute, Alster - Jever - with water "B.M.W. "Beer with water" in a Radeberger glass. Still tasted good. Food (Bifteki, chicken breast Metaxa came 10 Minutes after ordering, the place was full - about 50 guests. How do they do that? Prices are above average - the staff are obviously welcome when paying Go to the counter and use the card reader there. There is also a card receipt - we asked about it and they didn't have a mobile card reader. The operation then explained the operating steps of the card reader very clearly.

The food is good, but the price is quite high for a Greek restaurant.

Everything is just too salty. Each type of meat was seasoned with the same gyro seasoning, which is quite removed from traditional Greek cuisine. The waitress wasn't rude, she was "not interested", to all questions she simply answered "I don't know". No hospitality was shown, no smiles, no simple politeness.

Unfortunately a tourist trap!!! Ordered gyros in Metaxas sauce, asked me where the Metaxa was in it. Soft meat, the rice I ordered with it was cold. My husband had half-cooked fries, our son's schnitzel was in the deep fryer and soaked in fat. We had a Jever, a Cola, and a drink Spezi.The only thing that was good was the tzatziki.Final price 80 € and the ambience of the hustle and bustle and noise doesn't suit a restaurant but rather a canteen, although there is definitely better food. It's a shame!!!

Although there wasn't much going on in the restaurant, the gyros were not freshly cut from the spit, but had been warmed up in a pan with a lot of oil. There's no other way I can explain this dead fried meat that's dripping with fat. The liver was dry and hard. The vegetable rice was the cheapest Djuwetch rice from a can and tasted musty. I thought it was audacious to ask for almost 20 euros for this. I've had better meals in this restaurant before. But this time it was underground and a reason for me not to go there again. There is better food in every Greek snack bar.

These are what I call the perfect lamb chops! Great side dishes, nicely meaty, well browned and quick to serve. Even the number of chops were very generous.

A nice restaurant with Greek cuisine. The quality of the food is very good. The dishes are very tasty. The service is also friendly and quick. Unfortunately, we were sometimes served something different than what was ordered. However, in order not to have to wait any longer, we accepted this. However, there is a significant point deduction when it comes to pricing! Considering the manageable portion size, both the food and especially the drinks are completely overpriced. 4 chicken nuggets with a handful of fries €10, a glass of Imiglikos €7, Fanta €3.5, etc. Health resort or not, but Wangerland is not Sylt!

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Although the waitress was alone that evening and the restaurant was full, she did her job in an extremely relaxed and pleasant manner. She never gave any hint of stress. We didn't have to wait long for our food and our special requests were fulfilled without any problems. The food itself was very tasty and also good portions. All at a reasonable price.

A cozy restaurant in Horumersiel that we have been going to for years when we are in Wangerland. What is particularly worth mentioning here are the steaks and the Metaxa sauce, which are really delicious and the steaks are cooked to perfection.

Der Service war gut, wie auch das Ambiente. Das Essen ist gut angerichtet. Die Portionen waren nicht die größten. Kommt bestimmt auch auf den Betrachter an. Zum Irodion kann man gut gehen. Gerne wieder.

Sehr lecker und ein freundlicher Service es gibt nichts zu meckern.

Ambiente ist in Ordnung, Service ist vergesslich und überfordert,versucht es aber zu überdecken. 4 Gerichte bestellt( Nudeln mit Tomatensoße + Apfelsaft,2x Hähnchen mit Reis + Fanta, Pommes mit Nuggets und Lamm mit Steakkartoffeln) + 1x Tzatziki, 1x Feta Getränke schmeckten verwässert, Salat war nur Weißkrautsalat mit ein paar Bohnen, geht definitiv besser. Hähnchen war versalzen, Reis zerkocht, Nuggets wurden tot frittiert, Lamm war teilweise zäh und die Steakkartoffeln waren nur Steakhaus Pommes (hätte man richtig deklarieren können) Feta war fad, Olivenöl war ranzig Tzatziki konnte man essen

Essen war leider sehr salzig, kann ja mal passieren , Service war top Ambiente ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Der Grieche im friesischen Exil. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig und die Teller sind reichhaltig gefüllt. Alles ist sehr lecker und die Metaxasoße ein Traum. Im Sommer kann man draußen auf dem Parkplatz sitzen. Das ist romantischer, als es sich vermutlich anhört. Man kann das Essen auch mitnehmen. MIr gefällt es im Irodion sehr gut.

Das Essen war ziemlich Cross fast angebraten und schmeckte dadurch sehr salzig. Der Gyros hatte definitiv zu lange am Spieß gegrillt. Die Bedienung war freundlich, doch wir mussten längere Zeit auf unsere Getränke warten.

Das Essen (Gyros mit Hacksteak und Pommes sowie Salat) war sehr lecker 😋 und auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Anfang November ist die Saison vorbei, dadurch ist das Restaurant nicht ausgelastet, aber trotzdem ist die Bedienung freundlich und gut drauf. Das Gericht war lecker und reichlich.

Wir haben heute Gyros Metaxa und Gyros Knoblauch gegessen. Das Essen haben wir abgeholt. Super freundlicher Service. Mega leckeres Essen. Reichlich, geschmacklich sehr lecker. Preis Leistungsverhältnis für die Lage ok, ist halt ein Restaurant und kein Schnellimbiss. Wir empfehlen und werden dort sicherlich wieder Essen. Danke an das tolle Team. 👍👍👍

Wir haben uns Heute, auf Empfehlung, Gyros Metaxa und Gyros Knoblauch bestellt. Die Gerichte haben wir abgeholt und in der Ferienwohnung gegessen. Vom A-Z sind wir sehr zufrieden. Super nett am Telefon. Schnell, innerhalb von 15 Minuten. Köstlich, reichlich. Klare Empfehlung. Danke für dieses köstliche Erlebnis. Wir werden dort wieder bestellen. 👍👍👍

Gut,lecker und reichlich gegessen.Ambiente,etwas zuviel des guten mit dem dunklen Holz. Das Restaurant sollte mitte Oktober bei 10Grad Außentemperatur doch geheizt sein,dann käme das Ambiente besser und man könnte gemütlicher ohne Jacke(meine Farau hat gefroren)sitzen! Ansonsten alles gut....

Der Feta im Blätterteig mit Honig und Sesam war richtig lecker. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Super Essen auf griechische Art

Sehr gutes Essen. Super gewürzt. Freundliches Personal. Etwas lange Wartezeit bei Getränken.

Das Essen war gut und ausreichend. Es gab so gut wie keine wartezeit. ABER man konnte nicht mit Karte zahlen und man musste zur Bank um Geld zu holen. Selbst bei der Reservierung wurde man nicht darauf hingewiesen, das Kartenzahlung nicht möglich sei.

Das Essen war super lecker und auch viel! Sehr nette Bedienung und nur kurze Wartezeit aufs Essen! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war gut aber nicht überragend die Cevapcicis waren vom Geschmack lasch das Gyros war aber gut.

Das Essen war nicht so gut. Und als ich das anmerkte wurde auch nicht mehr mit uns gesprochen. Und als wir bezahlt haben mit Baby! Standen die nach 2 Minuten hinter uns und wollten den Tisch sauber machen, aber da wir noch da waren waren die sehr genervt und das hat man gehört. Nicht zu empfehlen. Gäste dafür um so freundlicher

Grieche mit jugoslawischen Wurzeln? Essen war gut, auch wenn mich Cevapcici und Djuvec auf einem grichischen Grillteller überrascht haben. Die Service-Dame war nett. Vom Strand hatten wir noch Wasser dabei, mussten also nicht verdursten.

Wir waren gestern im Restaurant,weil wir Heißhunger auf griechische Küche hatten. Sehr freundlicher Service, die Chefin erlebten wir sehr professionell & total nett.Getränke tiptop,Vorspeise angemessen und das Hauptgericht richtig lecker, typisch griechisch und nicht auf Deutschland angepasst !!! Wir kommen gerne wieder im nächsten Jahr .

Unser Hotel reservierte uns einen Tisch und hat uns gesagt, bei "Helena" seid ihr gut aufgehoben.. Und wir haben einen romantischen Abend mit leckerem Essen gehabt.
