Dafni in Aurich

I was there yesterday with my husband and children, we chose something to eat and the waiter wrote down the order. With every order we said no onion and no coleslaw. The waiter said everything is without onion and the children's plates anyway. Okay, we said, then the food came and as soon as the first plates came we saw that there were big, thick onions on them. I told the waiter, he immediately said in a different tone, yes, we'll do it straight away. He took the plate from me again with and then came back with the plate, put it down and went on like that and got the next one. But there were still onions on my plate that they tried to eat and then the children's plate came which was also full of onions so we decided we would pay for the drinks and leave. I told that to the waiter who took the order and he said we didn't have to pay for the drinks and then he suddenly said I had specifically told the kitchen that everything should be without onions and that I was sorry. We got up and put our jackets on, then the next waiter came and said in a very cheeky, angry tone who should pay for it now, it wasn't me, I answered and the waiter got angry, my husband went after him and spoke to him and told him how unfriendly he is and that it's not okay. The other waiter who had taken the order was also there at the exit and just said sorry and let me out the door. We used to eat there with clubs and everything was always great and we were super happy, but after what happened yesterday I won't be setting foot in the door again.

Unfortunately it really slacked off, eating was like in a bad snack bar 👎🏻

Very tasty food. Unfortunately, when it's full there's a bit of a long wait for the main course. Ambience is of course a matter of taste, for us a little too much decoration 😃

The staff is really very friendly and the food is okay. However, I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the restaurant. My glass was dirty on the inside, the table didn't appear to have been wiped down and my knife was smeared. And that's what the guest can see...

Were there for the first time and also the last time. This has nothing to do with friendly gastronomy. A first-class handling! Unfortunately. The gyro meat was very stringy and tasted very warm and bland. The “farmer's salad” is served there as a sliced ​​tomato, a small cube of feta, four small cubes of cucumber, an olive, and many slices of onion on top. No dressing or vinaigrette made. I've never eaten as badly as I did there. I'm not one to give bad reviews because I enjoy it - but unfortunately I can't say anything good here. It's a shame for Greek gastronomy.

The food was ok, but nothing more. Lots of raw vegetables for decoration. The salad was very carelessly prepared and the taste was not convincing either. The ambience is also okay, but everything is very cramped. In addition, at the beginning there was a slightly unpleasant smell of drainage in the area where our table was. But the smell disappeared over time. Unfortunately, we were constantly made to feel unwelcome. From inappropriate communication from staff to refusal to serve reordered drinks. - All in all, unfortunately a very bad and unpleasant experience. I personally found the question of when we planned to leave because the table was needed for something else very rude. The store was very well attended and the reviews seem to be mostly positive. I hope this is an isolated incident, but we won't be coming back again.

This is our favorite Greek. We receive a friendly welcome every time. Food is delicious and something that is rarely available anymore, we love these niches where you can sit a little separately. Thank you so much that such a cozy restaurant still exists today.

We ordered a platter for 4 people today and were very disappointed. On the plate was 1 bifteki, 1 souflaki, 4 small pieces of liver and some gyros. There was no bread, rice, or fries. We ordered the fries separately, but they were kept cold. The farmer's salad was only enough for one person. Nobody was full and we got pizza afterwards. We were regular customers for more than thirty years, but not with us anymore. There are other restaurants.

A wet, happy and fun evening. We wanted to come as a family with a dog and had previously inquired about this by telephone. The service is good. Like almost everywhere, you hardly have anything in your mouth: “Do you like it?” Nod and thumbs up. The food was very hot and delicious. It just got cold quickly because we were sitting in a draft.

A microscopic portion. The content is medium warm instead of hot, not to mention the taste, smell and consistency. Raw toasted bread served with this instead of being at least toast. Shame!!!!Someone has no idea what Gulaschsuppe is, doesn't know what kind of dish it is or what it should taste like. Where does Hungarian soup come from in a Greek restaurant? Is this toast bread also your invention? You don't know each other, don't do it. I don't want to try other dishes anymore, I won't come here again.

Were there for the first time today and can't understand the individual bad reviews. The portions are completely sufficient. If that's not enough for you, you should go to an XXL restaurant or American style. The prices are completely reasonable. The service was super nice, friendly and very attentive. Every now and then an ouzo would come from the house and NO, it wasn't on the bill. Atmosphere cozy, rustic. There was stifado with kritaraki, gyros with calamari fritti, 1 grill plate and 1 bifteki. And the tzatziki is perfect. :-)

I think it's a shame that you have to order tzatziki separately for over €4.00, otherwise it's great

Quite simply a great coleslaw with an olive and a pepperoni. I would like to eat something and enjoy the comfort... The meat is cooked/grilled to perfection. Staff simply great. I've known this restaurant for a good 30 years now... always with pleasure.

The food was underseasoned. Still a lot of salt. You couldn't eat the gyros because it wasn't cooked through. Souvlaki was very dry. We had to wait a long time for service. When he came, he always offered ouzo. We won't go there anymore

Tzaziki !!!!!We've never eaten like this from a Greek before 😂 The garlic in it tasted old and musty, you couldn't speak of it being fresh. Let's come to the gyros pan with Metaxa sauce. Meat... oversalted and the sauce... tasted good! We all agreed that it was probably more of a gravy which was the same for three dishes and was too salty. Conclusion: The staff, top. The food, absolutely not recommended.

Not recommendable! Out of 6 meals, 2 were “OK”! When you say “salmon fish” you shouldn’t hope for salmon! :( Cucumber salad: put thick pieces of cucumber on a plate and pour a lot of salt over it. Salads overall not fresh! Croquettes not potato croquettes! Disgusting! Gyros inedible!!! And no tzatziki even with the bland bread side dish, not on the plates either! I'm always amazed when people complain about the food at Dafni. We have been enjoying coming here for 25 years now and have been trying out the menu ever since. When it comes to starters, the saganaki is our favorite, but the white bean salad also tastes great. When it comes to the main courses, the entire range of meat dishes is impressive, whether bifteki, souvlaki or gyros, all well seasoned, never burnt or dry. The fish dishes also taste delicious. Dessert tip (if it fits at all): Galaktoburiko with vanilla ice cream. What we particularly like about the service is that people are very attentive without being intrusive. If you don't like the outdated interior, you can order all dishes to be picked up. This is our second favorite option after the on-site visit.

A renovation (or at least a thorough cleaning) would do the store a lot of good. Even the menus were torn and totally stained. The souflaki was tough and greasy, I'm used to MUCH better at the Acropolis! The rice was mushy and unspectacular, the Fanta was just a mirinda. The waiter was kind of friendly, but in a snotty way. The whole lobby and half of the terrace were full of people who had apparently made reservations, but the place was completely full. One star goes to the lovely waitress! We don't have to have this again.

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time, never again, the staff is very friendly. I had liver I think it was kept warm for hours.

I baked a gyra pan. There was a slice of cheese in a bowl with chewy gyros drowned in sauce. We were there with 5 people for a business lunch. The staff didn't even ask if you wanted any more drinks or if everything was OK. It was the first and last time I was there with business partners. Payment with Visa is not possible there.

At the moment everything is accepted, then you stand in front of the door for about 20 minutes even though you have ordered and they say come here, then you have to wait over an hour for your food, which is not possible!! What kind of process is that, elsewhere it says- Sorry, we don't have anything free anymore!

Regular customer for many years, on August 21st. Salad without dressing, no crispy gyros despite ordering, not even on September 6th. and on October 1st. Today, December 18th. Lukewarm dishes, no accommodation. This means you can neither keep regular customers nor acquire new customers. Opportunity taken: on December 23rd. Great food, special requests gladly fulfilled, good food again on January 7th, 2024, we think it's good.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant das Essen war einfach super lecker geschmeckt und die Bedienung sehr freundlich hat Spaß gemacht da zu Essen ist nur zu empfehlen.

Alles sehr Hektisch.... das Essen war aber gut. Die Hacksteaks war jedoch zu lasch und das Brot war einfaches deutsches Weißbrot.

Habe eine mit meiner Partnerin einen Spezialteller gehabt..Als Vorspeise Tzaziki und Brot.... Das Tzaziki kam später und wurde wortlos auf den Tisch gefeuert im vorbeigehen...Brot war nicht friscj ....Dann kam der Teller.... Reis und Soflaki waren in Ordnung. Alles andere geschmacklos und so zäh und dunkel....Frisch war es definitiv nicht, eher seit Ewigkeiten irgendwo vorbereitet rumgelegen! Der zugehörige Bauernsalat wurde erst gar nicht serviert ! Am Ende freute ich mich auf einen Nachtisch der aber verwehrt wurde , da angeblich die Küche keine Zeit habe.... Solch ein Erlebnis wünsche ich niemanden und mit Gastfreundschaft hat es definitiv nichts zu tun.... Der einzige Pluspunkt war, dass der Chef zumindest gut drauf war. Er schenkte gerne einen Ouzo aus und zumindest das haben wir dann auch mit einem anständigen Tip wertgeschàtzt.. Von einem weiteren Besuch werden wir jedoch absehen...

Das Angebot von Speisen ist richtig gut und vor Allem schmeckt es sehr gut. Der Service ist Klasse, was will man mehr.

Nettes Personal, Essen war gut und reichlich. Sehr zugebaut mit einzelnen Abteilungen.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und das kurz vor deren Mittagspause, und trotzdem war das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis hat auch total gestimmt. Wir werden jetzt öfter fort zu Gast sein.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, haben einen sehr schönen Platz im Restaurant erhalten. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Änderungen von der Speicherkarte waren kein Problem und wurden auch berücksichtigt. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und die Portionsgrössen waren gut. Wir waren zu viert und uns einig, wir kommen wieder.

Hallo, wir sind super enttäuscht 😔😔.. Gehen seit mehr als 30 Jahren zu Dafni.. Hatten ein Haar im Essen..(2 Personen) Da bekamen wir alle Nachtisch gratis.. Dankeschön Dann beim letzten Mal.. Gefragt.. Ob es uns geschmeckt hat.. Nein.. Dann kam der Kommentar vom Chef.. "Wir bräuchten ja nicht wieder kommen!!)" Frechheit.. Kellner hat sich paarmal entschuldigt.. Aber wir werden definitiv nicht mehr bei Dafni auftauchen..

ESSEN WAR LECKER,PREISLEISTUNGSVERHÄLTNIS SEHR GUT.PERSONAL SEHR FREUNDLICH.

Essen hat leider sehr nachgelassen, schlechteste Gyros was ich je gegessen habe in einem griechischen Restaurant. Null gewürzt und zäh, knubbelig. Ebenso das Bifteki null gewürzt und geschmacklos. Was wir aber noch nie erlebt haben in einem Restaurant, das der Kellner uns unseren Nachtisch ausgeredet hat und uns noch nicht mal die Karten gebracht hat zum aussuchen. Auch wenn es voll ist kann man den Gästen nicht sagen, bestellen sie lieber keine Nachspeise, es dauert derzeit sehr sehr lange weil es voll ist, bestellen sie lieber nicht. Schade, leider daher das letzte Mal das wir dort hingehen.

Wir hatten die nr. 61 (gyros+souflaki) alles gut geschmeckt, bis auf das Gyros, es roch komisch und schmeckte schlecht. Man bekam es nicht runter, das haben wir natürlich auch gesagt, als Antwort kam: "Der Koch hat viel zu tun, es ist volles Haus, da kann es wohl mal sein, dass das Fleisch nicht durch ist." Ganz ehrlich, nein es kann nicht sein, dass das Fleisch nicht gar ist.. Man weiß doch als Gast, dass es länger dauert, wenn viel los ist, das ist auch in Ordnung. Als Entschädigung wurde uns ein Eis aufs Haus angeboten, was wir ablehnten, da wir echt mit Übelkeit zu kämpfen hatten/haben! Sonst gab's keine Entschädigung oder wenigstens Rabatt... Wir werden leider nicht wieder kommen! Schade!

Einmal und nie wieder. Die Vorspeise(Fetakäse) und auch das Brot mit Tzatziki waren gut aber dann ging das Elend los. Die Hauptgänge waren bei allen eine reine Katastrophe, Gyros in Metaxasoße war knubbelig, hart, in der Soße schwammen Pilze und als überbacken hatten wir eine Scheibe Käse lieblos drüber.... schmeckte eher nach einer Tütensoße, Fleisch tot gebraten, schwarz,... . Der Tisch wurde nach einem Salz Unfall nicht gereinigt, der Deckel war auf dem Streuer nicht fest. Salzstreuer total versifft! Es wurde Fleisch nachgebracht aber das hat es nicht rausgerissen. Auf die Getränke nach mehrmaligen Fragen sehr lange gewartet. Ouzo wurde mehrmals in Gläser geschenkt obwohl keiner vom Tisch wusste welches Glas wen gehörte, kenne ich anders. Wir waren nicht nur zu 5... Nicht zu empfehlen!!!

Waren mit 6 Personen dort. Einhellige Meinung, Fleisch tot gebraten trocken, lieblos angerichtet, Salat Tomaten und Gurke, Zwiebeln...fertig. Champions ausse Dose....ätzend Portionsgröße klein. Pommes altfettig. Bedienung nicht auf zack Ouzo und Bier nachbestellt...nach 20 Minuten nachgefragt....weitere 8 min gebracht... Fazit....überlaufen Massenabfertigung ,überlastet. Wir gehen nicht mehr hin.

Haben schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht Griechisch gegessen. Das Fleisch trocken, in der Mezxasauce schwammen Pilze. Der Wein schmeckte wie aus dem Tetrapack und der Service war auch wirklich mehr recht als schlecht. Wir gehen hier garantiert nie wieder essen.

Wir gehen immer gerne zu Dafni.Seit 20 Jahren und immer toll.Immer lecker gegessen und freundlich.

Leider war es heute Katastrophe bei euch... Die Portionen sind ein Witz... Noch dazu kam das wir was ganz anderes bekommen haben wie bestellt... Einfach nur Abfertigung uns sehr ihr so schnell nicht wieder!!!!

Also wir waren gestern Abend dort essen , leider mussten wir das Gyros zurück geben lassen das hat so gestunken und war sauer , leider hat die Bedienung es nicht kontrolliert und so getan als würde er uns nicht ernst nehmen ! Meine Tochter wollte danach kein Fleisch mehr und das soll schon was heißen! Bezahlt habe ich auch nicht obwohl ich es sollte, Bei uns war es auch das letzte mal

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen, sehr freundliches Personal. Wir haben draußen gesessen. Drinnen etwas dunkel und renovierungsbedürftig. Wurden aber gerne wiederkommen.

Wir waren vor 2 Jahren im Urlaub in Norddeich und haben einen Tagesausflug nach Aurich gemacht. Sind dann ins Dafni zum Abendessen gegangen. Das Essen war absolut spitze, der Service sehr gut und nett. Heute sind wir wieder in Norddeich und wir freuen uns schon, wieder nach Aurich ins Dafni zu fahren, dem wir sehr gerne unsere Empfehlung aussprechen.

Es ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Beilagen Salat besteht nur aus etwas Tomate und Gurke so wie ein paar Zwiebeln. Das Hauptgericht viel zu wenig. Wir werden nicht wieder hingehen

Dafni existiert schon lange in Aurich, ein sehr geräumiges Restaurant, in dem man auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommt. Grosser Aussenbereich. Speisen immer noch sehr schmackhaft und preiswert. Das Personal zeichnet sich durch höchste Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit aus, man spürt, dass der Gast wertgeschätzt ist.

Waren mit der Familie dort, jeder von uns hatte ein anderes Gericht und allen hat es sehr gut gemundet. Bedienung war auch Top und hat reichlich nach geschenkt.

Wir gehen hier oft essen und es ist immer perfekt.

Verzicht auf Reis wollte Bohnen dafür, Bohnen extra 6,50 € berechnet. Flamierte Bananen zum Nachtisch einmal ohne Eis, Preis berechnet wie mit Eis.
