Worst pita ever!!! You couldn't even touch the pita because it was nothing but grease and cabbage juice!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Thank goodness I only left a €0.70 tip. Absolutely disgusting!!! Especially since I already mentioned that they should pay attention to this sort of thing, but apparently they don't care what the customers say!!! It's so revolting, I could have just drunk oil!!!! You're incapable of delivering decent food!!! I should normally demand my 70 cents back!!!!

I ordered two pitta souvlaki as usual! Since I'm allergic to onions, I always order them without. Normally, you're careful about that, except for today... The bread was soggy with grease and had onions on it. If I hadn't checked and they hadn't been so big, you would have been reported 🤷. Since it's never been like this before, I'll overlook it this time and just push them under, but not next time! You really need to pay attention to this! Also, check the grease and juices on the pittas, because the bread gets soggy and then it doesn't taste good. Metaxa sauce is just thickened cream sauce. That's a complete rip-off!!! If you can't do this right, then don't do it!! DISGUSTING

The team is very friendly. Orders online and pick up, even if they arrive early, are taken care of immediately. I'm very critical of meals; for a while, the pitta was a bit greasy; I've only had very fresh, non-greasy pitta in a long time. Special requests are always fulfilled. Delicious, fresh (for a snack), and friendly. I haven't had a better snack in a long time when it comes to pitta and the like. Keep it up!

Ordered food and did not get what I expected. The food was cold and not edible. This was the last time I ordered anything from there. The shop used to be great but now I cannot recommend it anymore.

This delivery service is a disgrace. I called three numbers and was hung up. I would never eat at that place again, regardless of whether the food tastes good or not. That's no way to treat customers.

I ordered online for delivery. The food arrived quickly. They advertise fresh pita, but they just delivered a roll soaked in oil. The gyros were unfortunately dry and lacked flavor. I visited the “Grill am Monument” on April 16, 2025 at around 12:50 p.m. and was very satisfied with my visit. The food was fresh and tasted very good. The ingredients seemed high quality and carefully crafted, overall a very pleasant culinary experience. The menu was varied and offered something for every taste, including... Vegetarian/vegan interested guests. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. The service was friendly and quick, I was served promptly and was well looked after felt. Particularly worth mentioning: The friendliness of the staff deserves 9 out of 10 Score a real award! Cleanliness and hygiene are top. The tables, floor and counter were clean, too The hygiene standard in the kitchen was easy to understand. The atmosphere was cozy and modern at the same time, a pleasant ambience. It was quiet so perfect for a relaxed meal. The price-performance ratio is very good. The portions are fairly sized and the prices are correspond to the quality and I find them absolutely appropriate. Overall, I had nothing to complain about and can highly recommend the grill at the monument!

Even though we live in the List district, we receive deliveries. The food was good as always. It's a shame that there is no other branch in Vahrenwald/List. Hopefully we will continue to receive deliveries when we order

Giros bone dry and overly seasoned, Metaxasauce tastes like German cream sauce out of the bag! It's gone down a lot, but €19.90 is a bad joke. Never again, what a shame 🤷‍♂️

I've lost my appetite. I just had a beer bottle cap in my farmer's salad. Not only disgusting but also dangerous :( I was there last time. I hardly ever write a review but it had to be done.

The Giros is really good with a large salad plate. The owners are really nice. The ambience isn't that great, but it feels so familiar, like a village atmosphere.

The food wasn't tasty and was dry. No sauce, no bread, bad fries. Never again.

The best was the Metzo Mix! It tasted like in all of Germany. I had gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce with fries. What should I do with disappointment? The meat was grilled to death! That's what I call it when it's really over-grilled. The sauce had nothing to do with a metaxa sauce. There was no sauce binder (cream sauce) and it didn't season the meat either. Even the fries were so hard as if they had been in the deep fryer twice. And the whole thing with the Metzo for 19.80 euros Bang!!!!! Noooo again!!!!! Let your mom or grandma show you how it's done. Sorry, but that was my impression. Greetings, half Greek!

After a long time I wanted to eat a gyros in Metaxa sauce. I can't remember ever having such bad Greek food. Hard meat, in an over-seasoned thick mush. Even the red rice was a letdown. You have to get there first!

Delicious, mostly Greek grilled dishes at mostly reasonable prices; However, delivery times can sometimes be excessive. Prices are no longer appropriate. We have drastically reduced our consumption of Greek dishes there!

We've eaten there twice now, the first time we only ate a gyrospita, which we were absolutely thrilled with. We were greeted and served in a nice and friendly manner. When we paid, the nice gentleman behind the counter handed us a box of baklava. This one, tried at home, was also very tasty. On the second visit there was a gyro plate and a bifteki plate. Plus a portion of tzatziki. Both dishes and the tzatziki were delicious again. When I paid I must have misheard myself and gave the lady a 50 and said "that's right" whereupon she immediately asked if I was wrong and repeated the final amount again. I thought it was very correct of her. The waitresses are all very nice and friendly. The shop itself doesn't seem very inviting and a bit shabby. The toilets were clean. Public parking spaces are available nearby. Conclusion: food delicious, service friendly, we'll be back.

Currywurst with fries...so disgusting...the sausage had such a hard skin that I could pull it off...the sauce was disgustingly viscous...I've had better fries too..

We ate gyro platters on site. Portions were large enough, fries were well seasoned. The gyro meat tasted strange... or at least was strangely seasoned. Tzatziki wasn't included with the dish, we ordered it at the counter. It was okay in terms of sitting, but nothing more.

Die Lieferung war exelent ,also die Gerichte meine ich. Der Laden ist zwar recht teuer, aber ich bin zufrieden. Es schmeckt richtig gut, leider gibt es nur noch wenige, griechische Restaurants in Hannover, aber demnächst werde ich dort essen gehen. Weil sehr gut!!!

Nachtrag: Nach 2 Jahren mal wieder probiert! Katastrophe!! Siehe verbrannte Calzone! Geld gibts auch nicht zurück. Leider stimmen die Rezensionen! Es dauert Ewigkeiten bis geliefert worden! 2 Stunden ist nicht übertrieben. Nach 2 Stunden hat man keine Lust mehr aufs Essen. Die Qualität des Essens ist auch nicht die beste. Und die Portionen sind nicht groß. Der Salat ein Witz… Schade…

Einfach schlecht ! Bedingung hat versucht zu betrügen und 20€ einkassiert und anschließend behauptet ich hätte nicht bezahlt. Zum Glück war ich mit Arbeitskollegen die das bezeugen konnten. Hab am Ende noch 80 Cent zu wenig wieder bekommen da das Personal trotz Taschenrechner nicht in der Lage war zu rechnen . Sowas habe ich echt noch nie erlebt! Unfreundlich und unverständlich. Nie wieder.

Leider musste ich beim letzten Mal feststellen das dass Essen nachgelassen hat. Ausserdem finde es ziemlich Teuer. Es war auch sehr Laut es hatte eigentlich den Karakter von einer Kneipe.

Wir bestellen immer über Lieferando. Das Essen war heute einfach perfekt (Pizza und Schnitzel). Das Schnitzel saftig und kross, die Pommes genau richtig gesalzen. Sehr lecker. Die Pizza war auch mega lecker und gut belegt.

Griechischer Imbiss mit Herz und Geschmack!

Ich habe zwei Speisen außer Haus gekauft. Der Service war sachlich, freundlich und schnell. Das Essen schmackhaft und reichlich. Die "Jägersauce" zum Jägerschnitzel hatte allerdings eher eine süß-saure Geschmacksnote, die gut zu einem asiatischen Gericht gepasst hätte. Das Schnitzel und die Pommes Frites waren tadellos. Ebenso Fleisch und Beilagen der Girosplatte. Die beiden separaten Salate waren lieblos zusammengeworfen, aber frisch und mit passendem Joghurtdressing versehen.

Das Essen zwar lecker, die Lieferung schneller als bei Lieferando angegeben und der Lieferant sympathisch. Jedoch bin ich trotzdem über die Portion und Menge sehr enttäuscht. Ich habe 20€ für eine “Suflaki-Platte” ausgegeben und hatte fünf kleine Stückchen Fleisch und ein paar trockene Pommes, sowie Reis auf dem Teller. Bei der Beschreibung und dem Preis habe ich deutlich mehr erwartet! Nach Sichtung der Verpackung hätte es auch ein Kindermenü sein können. Normal hätte diese Portion mich die Hälfte kosten müssen. Leider wird hier nicht noch einmal bestellt.

Der griechische GRILL AM DENKMAL gehört mit dem benachbarten deutschen Restaurant "Die Eiche" zu den gastronomischen Top-Adressen in Badenstedt. Beide Lokale sind im Besitz der gleichen, umtriebigen Gastronomenfamilie. Sehr leckere griechische, deutsche, internationale, italienische Speisen, die schnell serviert werden. Verzehr indoor, outdoor und take-away!

Sehr hochwertiger griechischer Laden

Ich habe schon öfter hier bestellt und bis heute hat es auch immer geschmeckt. Leider wurde ich heute richtig enttäuscht. Habe eine Gyrosplatte über Lieferando bestellt. Der erste Anblick war sehr gut, aber das Suflaki war richtig zäh und nicht gewürzt, habe es leider weggeschmissen. Das Gyros war sehr lecker und die Pommes gingen so, aber über den Reis musste ich wirklich lachen. Bei dieser Miniportion Reis, hättet ihr ihn auch ganz weglassen können. Die zwei Sterne vergebe ich für die schnelle Lieferung und den Salat. Für den Preis, erwartet man etwas mehr Qualität.. Werde auch nicht mehr bei euch bestellen.

Im Großen und Ganzen ist hier alles ok! Vor allem die Suzukis sind lecker. Nur die Suzuki-Pita, die ich heute mal probiert habe, war nicht so toll. Das Fleisch „schwamm“ regelrecht in einer Mischung aus feuchtem Krautsalat und Zaziki. Das Pita-Brot ist dazu relativ klein, sodass beim essen alles an den Seiten rausfloss. Die zu einer richtigen, griechischen Pita gehörenden Pommes fehlen hier generell.

Alles perfekt. Ich gehe da gerne hin. Gutes Team.

Essen echt sehr zu empfehlen, Bedienung auch nett. Kann man definitiv empfehlen. Finde nur den Preis für eine Gyros Brot ( Döner mit Gyros) bissl teuer dafür was es ist. Aber die Qualität rechtfertigt es schon irgendwie.

Super Essen, Fleisch Top und sogar der Tiramisu schmeckt Super! Immer wieder gerne.

Grill ist zwar vorhanden, aber ich verstehe darunter was anderes. Grill in diesem Sinne ist für mich ne Pommesbude , das hier ist aber ehr schon ein Restaurant, auch preislich gesehen.

War auf der Suche nach nach einem Döner zu etwas späterer Zeit und bin dort vorbei , Ich habe eine Gyros Tasche bekommen mit Schweinefleisch. Ich wurde überzeugt, es hat sehr gut Geschmeckt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut in Ordnung es war eine schön große Portion mit knusprigen fleisch. Man darf hier einfach keinen türkischen klassischen Döner erwarten , wer etwas aufgeschlossen ist wird hier fündig .

Es wurde falsches Essen geliefert . Ich habe dann angerufen und gesagt das es falsch geliefert wurde und die Frau am Telefon fand es noch lustig und hat gelacht. Danach klingelte nochmal der Fahrer und hatte ein Mitarbeiter am Telefon mit dem ich sprechen sollte der mich extrem angeschrien hat. Wenn man so mit Kunden umgeht!!!

Zuvorkommendes Personal. Am Tisch wird man bedient, ungewöhnlich für einen "Grill". Man kann auch draussen sitzen, leider derzeit die große Baustelle für den Hochbahnsteig direkt vor der Tür. Essen nicht außergewöhnlich, aber trotzdem lecker und reichlich. Essen auch zum Mitnehmen wer mag.
