Great service and outstanding food!

Ein tolles Lokal mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Die Taverne überzeugt mit einer sehr guten Auswahl an griechischen und internationalen Gerichten. Das Essen war einfach hervorragend, wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. George, unsere Bedienung, hat uns sehr umsichtig und zuvorkommend bedient. Ein Lokal zum Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

It's been a long time since we've eaten at Elios...the meat on the skewer was dry, the peppers were barely crispy, and the fries tasted like they'd been reheated in a deep fryer. The salad wasn't crispy. The salad dressing was good, but the tzatziki wasn't quite as tasty. Unfortunately, you can tell that the two head chefs are no longer with us. We were disappointed and will now gladly make the longer journey to Maxau. There's also a great alternative in Aue; this restaurant also offers lunch at 1:30 p.m., while the kitchen at Elios is already closed.

Giving one star is already too much of a good thing. We have never experienced anything like this before. 1. No idea where they came from, but there were so many fruit mosquitoes, so that the first flies were swimming in them as soon as the drinks arrived. At first I fished out and tried to drink, but you just couldn't fight them off. Pointed this out to the waiter, drinks were taken away, but there were no new ones 2. Ingredients, other than those declared on the menu, were in the starter and could not be eaten due to allergies 3. Starter was floating in pure vinegar and was therefore inedible (this actually has no place in this dish) 4th main course: I couldn't manage to cut the shrimp with the knife, they were so hard, the potatoes were very musty and watery, the salmon was hard and spoiled, I had to spit them out immediately 5. The waiter was unfriendly and threatening towards us, so to top it all off, payment was difficult

A great restaurant with amazing Greek food. This place knows what it is doing. An exceptional neighbourhood restaurant with brilliant food and wine and warm, friendly service. We are here twice and the food was really delicious.

We‘re welcomed with garlic breads and ouzos instantly. Atmosphere was great. We had a meze plate and lamb filets with Greek wine. Everything was very delicious and the stuff was so warm, nice and cheerful.

To start, 7 schnapps. Very nice service 🤗 The fish quickly swam to the table 🎣 Parking spaces easy to reach 🤙🏼

Meine Frau bestellte Mousaka und bekam einen kleinen, offenbar in der Mikrowelle aufgetauten Klacks. Angesichts des Preises von 17,50 € war sie von diesem lauwarmen Nichts sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte den „Hausteller“, eine der bei griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland üblichen Fleischorgien: Ein Spieß mit Suflaki, ein Schweinesteak mit Kräuterbutter, eine ordentliche Portion Gyros, Zaziki und eine Portion Pommes Frites. Suflaki und Steak waren gut, die Gyros jedoch nur lauwarm, auch die Pommes waren für meinen Geschmack nicht wirklich warm. Wirklich gut war der Salat mit dillbetonter Marinade, aber der hat den Abend nicht mehr gerettet. Der Service war schnell, aber der Kellner uninteressiert. Alles in allem: Für uns und die „Alte Post“ haben sich die Wege heute getrennt. Das hätte auch ein Ouzo, den wir durchaus erwartet, aber nicht angeboten bekommen haben, nicht mehr herausgerissen.

The food was a flop. The friendly service doesn't console you either. It's nice to sit outside to drink...

We were there 3 weeks ago with a larger group. The price is rather higher for Karlsruhe, but the quality was top. The only drawback was that the waiting time for the food was sometimes over an hour. Some of us had already finished eating when some had no food. However, it must also be said that there was a larger group in the restaurant and there were around 25 of us there. Still recommended. Service was very attentive.

Subterranean overcooked food and cold fries

Das Essen war gut. Bedienung freundlich. Ich hatte den Hirtenteller. Kalte Vorspeise. Und weiße dicke Bohnen in Tomatensoße mit Käse. Warme Vorspeise. War reichlich. Kartenzahlung war möglich

Celebrated a birthday party. The food was great, service wasn't bad either. Just a little too expensive. But otherwise it is really recommended. Up to 30 people fit perfectly.

Huge portions, friendly and tasty too. Price performance great!
