Food top prices still ok A bit dark furnished but ok

The four of us had dinner last night with the regulars. Everyone was very happy with the food. Everything was very tasty, my overall impression is: EXCELLENT. 🤗

Hostile and tactless towards severely disabled people! In the Greek salad the olives were pitted. My husband, who went completely blind a few years ago, didn't notice and bit on it. A piece of his tooth broke off and was very painful. I told the staff that we just wanted to pay and leave. The boss then came to the table personally, but didn't even apologize when I complained about the olives. The least that would be appropriate in this case is not to charge the customer for the salad, which my husband couldn't even eat, and to show compassion. Of course I didn't ask for that, but I was hoping for some kind of gesture. We all know the costs and inconveniences that come with visiting the dentist on weekends. Plus on a Saturday. Instead, as we left, we were wished a nice evening as if nothing had happened. I said that they didn't need to do that because we couldn't have a nice evening and had to pay the bill for the trouble. In response, the staff laughed loudly at us - me and my blind husband - and one of them also said "don't have a nice evening then". I'm sorry, what?! Never before have I experienced such anti-social and hostile behavior towards severely disabled people! This hurt and humiliated us very much. The staff there is very friendly as long as there are no problems! Please, don't support stores like this! Asya

We were welcomed very warmly, the children were very courteously provided with painting supplies and the food was delicious with an appropriate portion size.

Sports restaurant with very good food, attentive and friendly service

Food was very tasty. However, for the price I found the portions to be manageable. I'm more used to other Greek restaurants.

My personal opinion !!! Kostas was once a very good Greek. Now the prices are totally out of control. The good menu has become a clipboard with a few high-priced dishes; the portion size is no longer worthy of a Greek. Price and performance are simply no longer right. With this concept, the slow decline can probably no longer be stopped in the long term. A pity !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

Very expensive, everything else was great!

A while ago (Sunday 2/6/24) I ate two gyro pitas at the said shop. The price for both was 17 euros. When I asked the waiter if the gyro is normal as we make it in Greece, he said: yes, we make it every day. Unfortunately the shop, however, can tell this to someone who has not grown up in Greece and can serve them frozen gyros that they sell in supermarkets. When I asked again if I could talk to the owner, he told me with an ironic smile that they have some work to do and that I should stop by another time. The only thing for sure is that I will not pass by again. It may serve regular gyros, as most shops do here in Germany, every Friday and Saturday but today Sunday the gyros were tossed. That's probably why most people who visit such shops are customers of all nationalities and not Greeks.

Super nice team in the beautifully decorated restaurant. Also very nice to sit outside. Sun and rain protection to extend. Incredibly delicious Greek food, beautifully prepared, everything your heart desires 😀

Schlemmerblock expressly states a main course and we were deducted a side salad. It's not OK. It was addressed. The gourmet block was also demolished. We didn't look at the bill again on site and noticed the error at home. Maybe it was accidental on your part, but it's a shame that they see the mistake in the fact that we didn't mention it again and check the invoice. That in itself is not our fault or am I seeing it wrong. There is no zero item on the invoice. As I said, we only noticed this later. Nice atmosphere and food was ok, but a bit too expensive for the price.

Nice ambience, good food, really nice for an SVK. I've seen other sports clubs there

It's a clubhouse with exorbitantly high prices. Normal Greek food, nothing special. You can eat better, cheaper and finer close to the city center. It's not worth it.

We became aware of the restaurant through the voucher book. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. The food was excellent. The best Greek food I've had so far. It's a little more expensive than the average Greek but worth the price. The staff is super friendly. What we also noticed positively. All tables are cleaned thoroughly before they are reoccupied. We'd love to come back.

We used to go to Kosta very often, and the price-performance ratio was still good, in contrast to today. Everything is becoming more expensive for us as guests too, but such price increases? Are more than questionable. The menus became more expensive. Okay, but then cutting out the side dishes of salad and rice isn't an option. It's still a clubhouse after all! The friendliness of the boss leaves a lot to be desired! The other staff was super friendly and the boss could still learn something!

Nicely furnished for a clubhouse. The food was delicious, the prices are reasonable for a restaurant in the city. We found the service really outstanding; the whole team was really quick and very friendly. Highly Recommended!

Expired food approx. 1 year past best before date. Overall, the visit to Greek Kostas was average, but due to the expired rancid olive oil and the boss's unfriendly behavior regarding the oil, we probably wouldn't come back. Can happen. But such behavior is absolutely not acceptable, especially when someone is pregnant. It's about health and you can be more friendly with customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and the ambience was appealing, except for our seat, which was directly at the side door. However, the waiter made a positive impression by fulfilling my wife's meal request. The taste of the food was okay.

A good restaurant just too expensive for the portions.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da, als erstes ist uns der moderne Stil aufgefallen. Der Service war sehr nett, die freundliche Dame hatte immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht 👍🏻. Das Essen hat nicht lange gedauert, und gut geschmeckt. Ein Parkplatz ist direkt vorm Restaurant. Das KOSTAS ist zu empfehlen 👍🏻

Das Essen ist der Hammer. Für mich der beste Grieche weit und breit. Besonders das Lamm ist sensationell. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und der Service außerordentlich nett.

Der beste Grieche der Stadt! Mit sehr tollem und authentischem und aufmerksamen Personal. Wir gehen unfassbar gerne dort hin und können es nur empfehlen!

Lokal wurde renoviert. Eine optisch eher mittelmässige SpoGa hat sich zu einem ansprechenden Restaurant gewandelt. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Auch wurde die Speisekarte verkleinert, was der Qualität der einzelnen Gerichte zu Gute kommt und auch der Service ist aufmerksamer geworden. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Entwicklung. Komme gerne wieder. Wünsche ein schönes Weihnachtsfest.🌲

Wir bekamen trotz vollem Haus noch zwei schöne Plätze. Dazu durften wir einen super tollen Service, absolut freundliches Personal und extrem leckeres Essen genießen. Wir waren garantiert nicht das letzte Mal hier. Dafür nehmen wir auch die 80 km Anreise gerne in Kauf. Vielen Dank

Sonntag Mittag: Kostas Teller und Gyrosteller. Beide Bestellungen waren sehr gut. Wirklich. Wir kochen zuhause auch griechisch. Wir waren gegen 11:45 Uhr die ersten Gäste und man würde auf dem Teller eher die Reste des Vorabends vermuten. Das Gegenteil war der Fall. 1. frisches fett - und sehnenfreies gyros vom Drehspieß. Ich wüsste nicht wie man das besser hinbekommt, als dort zubereitet. 2. Das Souvlaki war qualitativ sehr gut 3. Zaziki war ebenfalls frisch zubereitet, wenn auch sehr wenig. 4. Tomatenreis war ebenfalls frisch und hat vorher nicht gestanden 5. ... Salat... deshalb geht man eher nicht griechisch essen.... war okay. Wir kennen noch fünf weitere griechische Restaurants im Stadtgebiet. Für mich hat Kostas die beste klassische Grillkarte mit der besten Fleischqualität. Danke und bis zum nächsten Mal!

War alles in allem sehr lecker. Es wurde nur die ein oder andere Bestellung vergessen. Leider. Das Fleisch war lecker nur ein bisschen trocken.

Ein Stück Griechenland in Karlsruhe, Seit Jahren bin ich ein treuer Gast bei KOSTAS, und es ist immer wieder ein Fest für die Sinne. Was diesen Ort jedoch für mich wirklich besonders macht, ist dass er sich seit über 30 Jahren in selben Händen befindet. Die Speisekarte ist ein wahres Meisterwerk der griechischen und auch erweiterten Küche. Hier findet einfach jeder etwas. Von köstlichen Gyros über aromatische Souvlaki-Spieße bis hin zu hausgemachtem Tzatziki. Auch Vegetarier 🥗 und Veganer 🌱 haben hier eine top Auswahl. Die Liebe und Sorgfalt, die Natalie und Kostas in jedes Gericht stecken, schmeckt man in jedem Bissen. Aber es ist nicht nur das Essen, das diesen Ort so besonders macht. Nana und Kostas sind die Seele dieses Restaurants. Ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft und ihre Liebe zur griechischen Kultur sind ansteckend. Bei jedem Besuch fühle ich mich willkommen geheißen und wie ein Teil ihrer großen griechischen Familie. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist ein Spiegelbild der Herzlichkeit von allen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man sich wohl und entspannt fühlt, an dem man gerne stundenlang in guter Gesellschaft verweilt und lacht und Spaß hat. Es ist nicht nur ein Ort, an dem man essen geht, sondern ein Ort, an dem man das Leben und die Liebe zur griechischen Küche feiert.

Super Essen (gegrillte Peperoni, Kostas Teller), klasse Bedienung! Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Der Nousa könnte qualitativ für den Preis besser sein. Ansonsten dieses Restsurant sehr empfehlenswert!

Leckeres griechisches Essen zum guten Preis. Die Portionen sind üppig. Zuvorkommender, freundlicher Service. Kartenzahlung möglich. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Saubere Toiletten. Viele Tische führen zu schmalen Verkehrswegen (man fühlt sich etwas eingeengt). Das ist aber auch die einzige kleine Kritik. Klare Empfehlung!
