Angenehme Atmosphäre, Toiletten etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Separater Wickelraum ist vorhanden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Beim Garnelenspiess wurden leider auch nicht-essbare Teile mit aufgespießt, macht den zwar optisch grösser, aber das sollte nicht so sein. Trotz der grösseren Gruppe kam das Essen zügig und zeitgleich Der Service war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind im Rahmen. Kleines Manko- bei einer 4stelligen Rechnung müsste man die Resteverpackung nicht unbedingt anrechnen. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert

Ich habe ohne Reservierung gleich einen Platz bekommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ich habe lange nicht mehr so knusprige lecker Pommes gegessen. Definitiv ein Lokal in das ich wieder einkehre, wenn ich in Karlsruhe bin.

Wow, endlich wieder einmal ein gutes griechisches Restaurant im Vereinsgelände des PSK's. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und geduldig, wenn auch etwas unstrukturiert. Es ist innen und außen ein schönes Ambiente. Das Essen ist hervorragend, hatte das Steak mit Pfeffersauce und Spätzle. War alles top und das Steak auf den Punkt, medium. Der Koch hat es gut drauf und versteht sein Handwerk. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Unglaublich wie lecker griechisch sein kann. Wer hier essen geht braucht nicht mehr nach Griechenland in Urlaub fahren.... Der Service ist überragend freundlich, die Qualität ist sehr gut, so dass die durchaus etwas höheren Preise absolut gerechtfertigt sind. Klar gibt es immer irgendwelche Sachen, die man vielleicht anders kennt, aber das wäre hier jammern auf extrem hohem Niveau. Ich bin wirklich sparsamit 5 Sternen. Hier möchte ich am liebsten gar nicht mehr gehen und 6 Sterne geben. Auch den inzwischen oft gar nicht mehr so üblichen Ouzo gibt's hier am Schluss aufs Haus

Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und stylisch modern eingerichtet. Trotzdem ist es sehr gemütlich hier. Das Restaurant verfügt über eine sehr große und schöne Ausenterasse. Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker sowie frisch. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Parkplätze gibt es genug an der Straße vor dem Restaurant.

Sehr angenehmes griechisches Restaurant mit modernem Ambiente. Wir haben dort eine Hochzeit mit kleiner Personenanzahl gefeiert. Das Essen war sehr gut und kam zügig an den Tisch. Die Service-Crew war sehr nett und der Chef kam mehrmals an den Tisch und hat sich um seine Gäste gekümmert. Insgesamt ein sehr positiver Eindruck.

Wir waren am 04.04.26 dort. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist gut Was gar nicht ging war die Bedienung. Als wir in das Lokal kamen war der Ober gerade dabei lautstark mit einem Rollifahrer zu diskutieren. Über die ganze Zeit war die Bedienung anstrengend da wir ihn kaum verstanden haben. Wir bestellten Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen. Gekommen ist alles auf einmal. Das Ergebnis war dann das die Hauptspeisen kalt waren bis die Vorspeisen gegessen waren. Der Tisch war dadurch auch extrem voll. Zum Glück hatten wir den Nachtisch nicht auch noch gleich mitbestellt. In dem Restaurant war es extrem Laut und unruhig. Von entspannter Atmosphäre war nicht wirklich viel zu spüren. Auch das ständige auf und ablaufen der Dame die abgeräumt hat hat nicht unbedingt die Situation beruhigt. Es ist schön das man die Teller nicht lange vor sich hat, aber das alle 2-3 Minuten jemand schauen kommt ob es schon was zum abräumen gibt, ist zu häufig und trägt nicht wirklich zur Ruhe bei. Gegen später wurde es dann etwas ruhiger und auch angenehmer. Wir waren schon öfters dort und wissen das es auch anders geht. Deswegen werden wir auch wiederkommen. Fazit: Das Essen ist sehr lecker, durch den Rest darf man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Tip: Vielleicht gibt es Möglichkeiten mit Schallabsorbierenden Gegenständen, Deko, Schallschutzwänden etwas den Geräuschpegel zu senken wenn das Lokal etwas voller ist. Und an den Ober: Etwas ruhiger werden und auch langsamer/ deutlicher Sprechen, dann versteht man sie auch besser.

Ich habe noch nie so ein unfreundliches Personal erlebt, essen war lecker aber für den grossen Hunger ist es nix.

Super tagesessen selber qualität wie auf der hauptkarte nur bissle weniger das macht nicht jeder toller Service daher für alles 5 Sterne weiter so!

Seit Theo und sein neues Team wieder selbst in der Alten Post sind ist es einfach wieder super Das Essen schmeckt toll und das Personal ist sehr freundlich Am Wochenende war so voll das man kaum einen Tisch bekommen hat Deshalb würde ich selbst nur noch mit Reservierung hingehen Jetzt kann ich es jederzeit weiterempfehlen! Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Waren zum Mittagessen in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr gut und ausreichend. Aber der Service ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Die Hälfte von uns war mit dem Essen schon fertig Die andere Hälfte hatte nach einer Stunde immer noch nichts zu essen. Wir mussten das Personal mehrmals darauf hinweisen das nicht alle ihr essen bekommen haben . Sehr schade weil die Küche scheint sehr gut zu sein.

Essen an sich ist Okay mehr aber nicht gibts viel bessere für das gebotene und die mengevom essen definitiv zu teuer, ein Kelner konnte überhaupt kein Deutsch , der andere kam etwas arrogant rüber. Zweites mal gehen wir nicht mehr hin.

Von einem der besten Restaurants zu einem der schlechtesten in kürzester Zeit .. bei meinem Hauptgang war das Fleisch total verkohlt.. die Pommes waren auch zu lange frittiert worden.. bei der jeder Pommesbude bekommt man besseres Essen.. die Bedienung war mehr mit Rauchen beschäftigt als mit den Gästen..Scheinen auch total verwirrt zu sein .. wir haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet.. meidet bloß den Laden.. die aktuellen schlechten Bewertungen sprechen für sich.

Das Rumpsteak war perfekt medium-rare, die Soße naja. Aber der Service und das Ambiente... meh.

Das Resteraunt hat leicht nach Zigaretten gerochen. Es fehlte gute Ambiente und Deko. Das Gyros war ziemlich fettig. Die tzatziki Soße war zu wenig. Mir wurde nach dem Salat kein neues Messer gegeben und sie wollten das ich es aus dem Teller wieder runterhole. Es hat 25-27€ gekostet. Viel zu viel.

Sehr schöne geschmackvolle Einrichtung und Ambiente für ein Lokal eines Spiervereines. Essen sehr lecker und ausreichend. Auch sehr gut für Familienfeste geeignet.

Update 2025-09 Die Alte Post ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Auch wenn die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, machen das ein leckeres Essen und ein ausgezeichneter Service das alles wett. 2025-05 Klasse! Tolles Essen, sehr freundlicher Service und alles zu moderaten Preisen.

Griechischer Essen. Es war alles sehr lecker. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Ambiente und Bedienung nett - Essdn schlecht . Ich habe Mühe, die guten Bewertungen zu verstehen - vielleicht hatten auch wirklich Pech und eine Ferienaushilfe in der Küche? Die Salatsoße schneckte nach Tüte, die gegrillten Paprika am Feta waren völlig versalzen und auch das Moussaka nicht gerade lecker , so dass wir das meiste stehen gelassen haben. Da man zudem absolut ideenlos für Vegetarier ist (gibt fast gar nichts), fehlt uns jede Lust, den Besuch zu wiederholen.

I'm usually a regular customer with my friends, but today I was very disappointed. It was my birthday, and that evening we would have had family dinner with the girls. We ordered starters like usual. Unfortunately, one arrived ice cold and the other completely wrong. I mentioned it, but never ordered a new one. We got both again. However, in the end we were billed without a word. The food was otherwise okay, but the portion was small. We were offered ouzo as a farewell drink, which we wanted, but we never got it. I'm disappointed that my birthday meal was so bad after all the negative experiences I had all day. The toilets weren't clean and some of them were broken.

Meine Frau bestellte Mousaka und bekam einen kleinen, offenbar in der Mikrowelle aufgetauten Klacks. Angesichts des Preises von 17,50 € war sie von diesem lauwarmen Nichts sehr enttäuscht. Ich hatte den „Hausteller“, eine der bei griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland üblichen Fleischorgien: Ein Spieß mit Suflaki, ein Schweinesteak mit Kräuterbutter, eine ordentliche Portion Gyros, Zaziki und eine Portion Pommes Frites. Suflaki und Steak waren gut, die Gyros jedoch nur lauwarm, auch die Pommes waren für meinen Geschmack nicht wirklich warm. Wirklich gut war der Salat mit dillbetonter Marinade, aber der hat den Abend nicht mehr gerettet. Der Service war schnell, aber der Kellner uninteressiert. Alles in allem: Für uns und die „Alte Post“ haben sich die Wege heute getrennt. Das hätte auch ein Ouzo, den wir durchaus erwartet, aber nicht angeboten bekommen haben, nicht mehr herausgerissen.

Nach langer Wartezeit haben wir als Vorspeise Kalamares bekommen, 1 kleines Stück in 7 Ringe geschnitten, für 16.90 Euro, mehr als ein stolzer Preis, überboten nur noch vom Hauptgang: 5 Garnelen für 27,90 Euro. Hier stimmt das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht. Wir waren mit 5 Personen dort und Keiner war wirklich zufrieden. Die Portionen waren für ein griechisches Restauriert sehr übersichtlich. Wir werden bestimmt nicht wieder kommen.

I can highly recommend the restaurant. The only thing I would have to complain about would be the portion size. They could be a little bigger if there weren't any side dishes, but that's really the only thing. Otherwise it's really good and the service team is really great

Es ist eine Sportgaststätte. Das Restaurant war recht voll. Die Inhaber sind freundlich. Das Essen war eher durchschlich. Wir hatte drei unterschiedliche Essen. Der Gyros war nicht kross und eher etwas Ungar in der Mitte. Dafür war die Leber tot gebraten. Die Pommes waren ganz gut.

Five of us ate there. We had a reservation. The restaurant was very busy. Despite this, the staff weren't rushed, and we received prompt and friendly service. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

Food was OK. We had previously asked if we could take our dachshund with us - that was fine too. BUT: we asked for a bowl or bowl of water for our dog. The first waitress said it arrogantly and simply ran away. Another waiter’s response was “I’ll have to look.” He ran away just as easily even though we said they could give us a plastic bowl (for eating to go). Unfortunately nothing came of that. If we had known beforehand that you couldn't even provide the dog with a single-use plastic bowl, we would of course have brought something ourselves. On the whole, the cellars are very arrogant and sometimes even forgot our orders. The store is no longer visited :).

We were there at lunchtime. After we were assigned a seat, an oily soup with pieces of fish was placed on the table. The approximately 300 other pensioners there also got that... oiioi. But we didn't want that at all. Sorry, it's like hospital cafeteria. I wanted an ouzo before dinner because I ordered a village plate. He didn't come. When asked, it came with the question “Ouzo now?” Sorry, I thought I was with the Greeks, I don't want it as a gift... The village plate then came and was actually good. My wife ordered schnitzel... again ooooi... the frozen ones from REWE are much, much better. My wife finished eating quicker - logically - and while I was still eating it was already being cleared away... Damn, that sucked. Adieu.

The starter creation for 2 people (easily enough for 4 people as a starter) is not only beautifully presented, but also tastes very good. There were 8 of us and the kitchen still managed to get all the main dishes ready at the same time! We have also ordered food to pick up - also very tasty and recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised. We visited the restaurant for the first time and will visit again. What can I say: a large hall. There is a large open veranda overlooking the stadium. Large menu. There is food for everyone taste. The food is delicious. Fast service. Despite the large hall, the waiter quickly came up and took the order. We waited no more than 5 minutes and the order began to be brought. There is parking. We found a place near the entrance without any problems.

I find the prices a bit high for a restaurant at a sports facility. The small pork schnitzel should be on the menu as a child's size. But the house plate was very good.

Unfortunately I have to complain a bit because the food was very poor. We ordered for collection, yes it was quick, but the portions are getting smaller and smaller, the food is getting more and more expensive and the service staff should take a etiquette course again. The customer is king. I'd rather go to the garden gnome. Great staff and great food. The boss should clear the air again and remove the rotten eggs from the staff.

Well, first complained about the wrong wine then the salad and didn't get a replacement. To place the order for the dessert we needed two service employees and a lot of patience. The food was good.

Sports restaurant that offers Greek dishes. Would love to come back.

We ate there for the first time today and unfortunately the food was extremely bad! And we all didn't order meat but fish, the fish was extremely bad so we all ate almost nothing. When we paid, the waitress asked if everything was good, then we told her that the fish wasn't good and she said it was fresh from yesterday 😅 The fish smelled and was old and not fresh! The ambience is nice but the service and food are extremely bad! Price performance doesn't fit at all because three of us paid over €100. Go there once and never go there again!

Second time being here brings a Royal experience from the interiors. It's right in the happening area of Karlsruhe. They also have outdoor seating in summer. I loved their Pina colada and chicken that came with the salad was soo good.

We were warmly welcomed here while traveling by bike. The service was very friendly and treated us very carefully. The food and drinks were obviously of very good quality and deliciously prepared (Greek cuisine). The price was very fair. We drove on very satisfied and relaxed. We ate in the restaurant (the weather wasn't really nice today), there is also a beer garden.

Atmosphere like a clubhouse. I found the prices on the menu to be a bit high. So I ate from the daily menu during the week. The price was right.

Update: Unfortunately there is a new menu with significantly higher prices, both for food and drinks. We decided on the spot to just have a drink, even though we actually wanted to eat something. Unfortunately, the restaurant will no longer be available for regular meals or drinks during the week in the future. The prices weren't exactly cheap before, but now it's just become too much. Previously: Good food, friendly service, and a free ouzo every time after your meal. Recommendation.
