Restaurant EV ZIN in Karlsruhe

Giving one star is already too much of a good thing. We have never experienced anything like this before. 1. No idea where they came from, but there were so many fruit mosquitoes, so that the first flies were swimming in them as soon as the drinks arrived. At first I fished out and tried to drink, but you just couldn't fight them off. Pointed this out to the waiter, drinks were taken away, but there were no new ones 2. Ingredients, other than those declared on the menu, were in the starter and could not be eaten due to allergies 3. Starter was floating in pure vinegar and was therefore inedible (this actually has no place in this dish) 4th main course: I couldn't manage to cut the shrimp with the knife, they were so hard, the potatoes were very musty and watery, the salmon was hard and spoiled, I had to spit them out immediately 5. The waiter was unfriendly and threatening towards us, so to top it all off, payment was difficult

Unfortunately no longer recommended. We had been back here for a while and wanted to have a nice evening. It wasn't good from start to finish, and the waiter's reactions were also really bad. A few fruit flies had landed in the apple spritzer at the table. After we had it returned, no replacement drink came nor was we asked if we would like something else. The salad for the main course was very sour, there were also a lot of fruit flies there and landed in the salad, so you had to be careful not to eat them. The highlight was the fish platter, completely over-seasoned and dry, after a few forks nothing was good. After the complaint, the bill came, and we really lost our faith. We were charged everything in full. When we asked if he wanted to accommodate us, his body language changed completely; they were trying to scare us, which didn't work. Nevertheless, we drove home shaking inside. Everything could have gone differently and then this evaluation would not have been necessary. But due to the complete lack of insight, this assessment was necessary.

Delicious food. Very nice and friendly host. Good service. Top price-performance ratio. Have eaten here many times and it's always been good. Nice beer garden in summer.

Due to an extremely unfriendly reaction from the landlady at the Turmberg playground to our reservation, we spontaneously ended up at the EV ZIN Griechen in Grötzingen today with 8 people and 6 children. The restaurant is located at TSV Grötzingen and is very hidden. We received a very friendly welcome from the innkeeper. He was visibly happy. Very tasty, freshly prepared food, whether fish or meat dishes. Value for money is great! We paid a total of 55 EUR with a tip for 2 main courses with fish and meat, a salad beforehand, a children's meal and 5 drinks. Great Greek restaurant where you can still find a place when it's already full everywhere else and you're welcome with children.

Not recommendable!!!! Greek. Grill plate for 2 people 37 euros!! All types of meat on the Greek grill plate were totally over salted!! The meat skewers were too dry. Upon my call, All I said was "I'm sorry" Normally 0 stars!!

Oktopussalat mit leckerem Dressing und getostetem Weißbrot. Aufmerksamer Service. Im Wald gelegen mit Blick.

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Das Essen ist hervorragend! Der beste Grieche der Umgebung. Der Inhaber ist super zuvorkommend und emphatisch. Meine fast 2 jährige Tochter war von ihm richtig begeistert.

Sehr schönes griechisches Lokal, die Atmosphäre draußen ist wunderbar. Dort kann man es gut aushalten. Das Essen ist sehr lecker.

Waren gestern mal wieder auf Wandertour+ sind natürlich hier eingekehrt....Essen,wie immer topp.... Service auch ..... Kommen gerne wieder.....

Sehr leckeres Essen und nettes, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Heute mal wieder dort gewesen und es war wieder sehr lecker. Erstaunlich, das wir Sonntags mittags die einzigen Gäste waren.

Das Essen war wieder mal sehr gut. Das Lokal ist ein echter Tipp!!!! Es sollte viel mehr besucht werden.

Essen war sehr gut. Leider wenig los.

Gestern waren wir während unserer Lauftour wieder dort. Lauschiger Biergarten quasi im Wald, gutes Essen, schöne Auswahl. Sehr schade nur, daß sich so wenige Gäste hierher verirren! Leute, kehrt ein, es lohnt sich.

Sehr schöne Location. Mann kann draußen auf der Dachterrasse sitzen, quasi mitten im Wald. Gerade bei heißem Temperaturen lässt es sich dort gut aushalten. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich.

This a bit hidden pearl turned out into a very pleasant discovery - super nice, cozy, family run restaurant with great, tasty food, mega kind attendance, fast service and surprisingly comfortable prices. A MUST visit place for a relaxed diner over a good glass of wine, amazing atmosphere, gorgeous surrounding, beautiful terrace and marvelous stuff. Definitely recommend!

Wirklicher Geheimtipp in Grötzingen. Der gebratene Kalamari war außerordentlich schmackhaft. Lange nicht mehr so gut griechisch gegessen. Preis Leistung war auch sehr gut und Service war 1A. Ich würd immer wieder kommen!!!

wir sind 2x hingegangen. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Besitzer (2 Bruder) sind super nett und effizient. Es macht eine Freude dort zu essen.
