We spontaneously visited Taverna Kalithea this summer for a film shoot. The waiter was very attentive and helped us find the perfect location without disturbing other guests. The table was even decorated with flowers and staged beautifully. Even though we only contacted them that same day, everyone readily agreed to accommodate our request. And the food afterwards was delicious. We'd gladly return – whether for a shoot or just as guests :)

I had a very delicious Kalithea platter. All the meats (rump steak, turkey steak, and pork steak) were cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The Greek fried potatoes and tzatziki were simply divine. The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful on this Saturday at lunchtime. And the service was incredibly friendly and helpful. This restaurant is truly a star among the Schlemmerblock participating restaurants.

I don't understand the many positive reviews at all. Without the discount voucher, I would have been absolutely furious. The price for gyros with four calamari rings (which weren't even listed as rings on the menu) was outrageous! The gyros were dry, and the rings were obviously the worst kind of frozen product. Everything else—salad, appetizer, dessert—was worse than at the Greek restaurants we usually go to. The ambiance could definitely be nicer, too. If the food had been great, though, none of that would matter. I was definitely very disappointed.

This was my second time at Yannis's Taverna, and I was delighted both times. The food, including the appetizer, was excellent. Yesterday was our first time at Taverna Kalithea. Even before entering, we were very impressed by the large outdoor seating area, which makes it a great place to arrive by bike for a meal in warmer weather, provided the food appeals to us. The interior is quite simple, but somehow also typical of a Greek restaurant. For a sports bar, we found the place visually appealing. We ordered grilled peppers and a hot and cold appetizer platter for one as starters. Both appetizers were excellent. They tasted really good. For our main courses, we had a Corfu platter and a lamb platter. These two dishes were also excellent; both tasted very good. The meat was cooked to perfection. A small side salad was served between the appetizer and the main course. The salad dressing wasn't homemade, in my opinion, but it was quite tasty. We really enjoyed our stay here and the food was delicious! The friendly and welcoming nature of the staff deserves special mention. We will definitely be back.

I've been to the clubhouse of this friendly club from Neureut several times now – and every time it's been simply fantastic! The entire team is incredibly friendly, hard-working, and accommodating. You can immediately tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. 💪 The food is always fresh, delicious, and of excellent quality – you can taste the love that goes into the cooking. Whether it's a quick snack or a cozy dinner – everything is perfectly prepared. I would particularly like to emphasize the value for money: For this quality and portion size, the prices are truly more than fair. 👏 A huge compliment to the entire team – you simply feel welcome and at home here. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant! 🍽️✨ I also really hope that FC Neureut 08 will soon be back in higher leagues so that even more people can enjoy this great food!

We were there as a family (2 adults, 2 children (4 and 9 years old)) for lunch. We were introduced to the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (snack bar). We had a spacious table with plenty of room for the kids' stuff and their food. The tables were clean and appropriately decorated. The service was very friendly. He was also up for a bit of fun :) Very personable! We had the appetizer platter for one and stuffed vine leaves for starters. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. We had three main courses, including a grilled platter. The food was delicious, especially the meat! A simple but fresh side salad preceded it. Conclusion: - Very friendly and personable service - Delicious and high-quality food - Not directly on the main road, so you can safely let children out alone. - Unfortunately, no playground or other entertainment options (as far as we could see) - We had to wait quite a long time for the main courses, but that could be subjective. So I don't want to judge that negatively. We'll definitely be happy to come back :)

First of all: I absolutely love eating out and place great value on the quality of the food, the service, and the overall impression. Eating out means more than just getting "as much food as possible for the least amount of money." I want to be a guest and feel welcome. Taverna Kalithea fully fulfills all of these requirements. A varied but not overwhelming menu with many options, including vegan/vegetarian options, at completely reasonable prices offers typical Greek dishes for every taste! The portions are filling, but not excessive, and of truly good quality. The food tastes exactly as I wanted it to. The service is more than pleasant, courteous, and attentive, and we felt truly welcome, whether we were a large or small group. There is ample parking, and there are nice, quiet seating areas inside and outside. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended: the mushrooms baked with Gorgonzola and the spaghetti special.

We discovered this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock website. We saw 4.8 stars on Google reviews, so you can't really go wrong, and we weren't disappointed. The food arrived relatively quickly, the portion sizes were just right, the food tasted good, the service staff was friendly, the restaurant was well decorated, and the seating was comfortable. Prices are also reasonable for the food. We would definitely go again.

Letzten Sonntag war ich mit zwölf Personen bei Taverna Kalithea und kann nur sagen - TOP. Super netter Empfang, das Essen war sehr lecker. Frische, bodenständige Küche, Salatdressing wurde von allen gelobt und die Hauptgerichte waren wunderbar. Der Speisesaal ist geräumig und die Tische haben einen großzügigen Abstand zueinander. Es stehen einige Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Last Sunday, I was at Taverna Kalithea with twelve people, and all I can say is – TOP! A super friendly welcome, the food was delicious. We did wait a bit longer for the appetizers, but it was worth it, because when the food arrived, everyone was happy. Fresh, home-style cooking, everyone praised the salad dressing, and the main courses were wonderful. The dining room is spacious, and the tables are well spaced – it's a wonderful place to have a conversation. People, go there and let yourself be pampered! As a guest, you feel welcome. It wasn't my first time there, and I will definitely go again. Many thanks to the host family.

I called there today and wanted to reserve a table for 9 people. The employee on the phone then asked me whether I was coming with Schlemmerblock. According to the Schlemmerblock, asking this is not permitted. It was then explained to me that a maximum of 4 people can use two gourmet blocks and a higher number of gourmet blocks will not be accepted. Schlemmerblock does not have such a regulation. This is also how you can drive away your customers 👏

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing: only mediocre for the price, with small portions. Service was quite nice, but they charge extra for bread: 4 slices of soft baguette for €1.50 is quite steep. The ambiance, the sports club, is exactly what you'd expect. Considering this and the location, the prices are generally excessive.

Very friendly staff. No rush, although well attended. The grilled pepperoni with garlic was great. The grill plate was also very good. The only thing missing was the cucumber in the tzatziki. Price/performance very good.

We were there for lunch with friends. The recessions I read earlier turned out to be absolutely accurate. Excellent service, consideration of my allergy-related restrictions, food with good taste in certainly sufficient quantities and finally a great coffee. All highly recommended and a reason for us to visit again.

As a sports and club venue, it's not bad at all. But then it wasn't any more for me. We were greeted very nicely, the service was very friendly and the lamb was still somewhat pink in places and not completely fried. That's positive, but it was of culinary value and the food wasn't of a modern standard. And at 26.90 euros for a dish, I get more exciting food in a better atmosphere in many places. So it's not a bad place, but it's no longer up to date either. My wish would be a smaller menu with more well-thought-out dishes, presented in a modern way.
