Everyone will find something tasty here, small bistro menu, definitely a nice place in summer. In winter there is little space for indoors. Nevertheless, a lot of effort is put into this, and if I'm not mistaken, the curry sauce, homemade, was very good quality.

Highly recommended, very inconspicuous from the outside, once you're inside everything is fine. A very cozy spot, the food was delicious and the chatting with the guests was just great, so spontaneous and entertaining, I would love to do it again 😀❤️👍🏻

Very nice restaurant in the middle of Eltville. Very cozy atmosphere. Host/owner very attentive and friendly. Good, down-to-earth food. Absolutely recommended. I think you have to reserve in advance.

Yesterday we ate at the Altes Holztor following a recommendation. We reserved a table in advance (which was good) it was very busy. The welcome from the staff was very friendly and we were escorted to the table. The drinks came quickly, including a bowl of water for our dog. As a starter we had bruschetta. Fresh ingredients - tomatoes, rocket, garlic = very good! The main course was rump steak (rare) - it was on point, very tender, the fries were served on a separate plate (preheated). = very tasty! The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We can only recommend this restaurant and we will come back. Thank you for your great job

Be careful, guests are often taken for a ride here. Be it that there are too many drinks on the bill or that the food is sometimes just inferior because someone tried cheap cheese or something similar. But it's far from the truth if you think that you would get a cheaper price just because you were a test subject...

We order salmon pasta and no salmon at all. Also waiting 40 min for it. In starter no bread provided but to other tables. Starter Ordered but still nothingto accompany sauce. Entrance to smoking area next to table and even waitress leaving it open to horrible smell. At end they excuse themselves with restaurant too busy. Being allergic to cigarette. No thanks. 🙂‍↔️

Great, I love these pizzas because ever since I ordered one I've only ordered the pizza here. The gluten-free pizza in particular tastes so good. It's more of a small ambience for Togo.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed today (Friday at 7:29 p.m.). We then heard from the locals that the owner was probably not making enough profit and had sold the restaurant. Unfortunately, he probably forgot to change his entry on Googlemaps accordingly. It's stupid if you went there specifically for that reason.

The prices are simply too high. Almost €6 for filtered Brita water? A small soup for €11... I just don't think that's justified, because it was tasty, but not excellent. The child's meal (pasta Bolognese) was significantly too peppery; even the adults found it quite spicy. If there's a children's menu, it should be child-friendly.

Unfortunately they close at the end of the year. We would like to see more vegetarian and vegan dishes in the new restaurant

We had a cappuccino there on a spontaneous trip. It was comfortable to sit there and the waitresses were very friendly.
