Always friendly and with a heart for detail. Something for everyone. Beautifully decorated and a lovely ambiance.

We went there twice. First visit (Thursday evening): The service was very friendly, efficient, and prompt. The menu is concise, but there's something for everyone. The small dishes are imaginative and attractively presented. The food is delicious. The restaurant was busy, yet there was hardly any wait time. The waitress wore face masks, the owner didn't. Second visit (Sunday evening): No service, only the owners were there. We were the first guests and had been there for about an hour. When we left, two other tables were still occupied. The drinks came quickly. They forgot to ask us if and what we wanted to eat. We had to call after them. The food arrived promptly, was again delicious, and attractively presented. The bread was already very dry. The pretzel was tough (they attributed this to the weather). Ordering more drinks was difficult because the owners were sitting at a regulars' table and having a lively conversation. Even when we wanted to pay, we had to take action... "to stand up and state our request, as no one responded to our hand signals." The owners prepared the food in the kitchen and also served the food. No face masks (or similar) were worn either while serving or at the regulars' table. When asked about this, Ms. Mucke replied while paying that she normally wore them... my reply that she hadn't worn one "last time" either went without further explanation. Someone from the regulars' table (we don't know who) also shouted something after us as we left the Stauswirtschaft. All in all: - good food - but not a place for us to feel good or relax It's a shame. Even though it's within walking distance, we'll be walking past it soon and won't be stopping there again.
