We were there twice. First visit (Thursday evening): The service was very nice, hardworking and quick. The menu is clear, but there is something for everyone. The small dishes are imaginative and attractively prepared. It tastes delicious. The restaurant was well filled, but there was hardly any waiting time. The waitress wore a face mask, the owner didn't. Second visit (Sunday evening): No service, only the owners were there. We were the first guests and were there for about 1 hour. When we left there were 2 more tables occupied. The drinks came quickly. They forgot to ask us if and what we wanted to eat. We had to call after them. The food came quickly and was again tasty and attractively prepared. The bread was already very dry. The pretzel was tough (this was due to the weather.) Ordering drinks was slow because the owners were sitting at a regular table and chatting animatedly. Even when we wanted to pay, we had to take action... "stand up and state our request because there was no response to a show of hands." The owners prepared the food in the kitchen and also served. A face mask (or similar) was not worn during serving or at the regular table. When asked about this, Ms. Mucke replied when paying that she would normally wear it... my reply that she hadn't worn it the "last time" either went without any further explanation. The regulars' table (we don't know who) shouted something after us as we left the Staußwirtschaft. All in all: - enjoy your meal - but for us not a place to feel good or relax Too bad. Even if it is within walking distance for us, we will soon walk past it and not stop again.
