We really enjoyed ourselves today. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. The garden is beautiful, and it's a great place to unwind.

The food was nothing special, a manageable size, and overpriced for that. The summer dumplings were without fillings—I just checked the menu again, and it says summer dumplings WITH a filling of sun-dried tomatoes and basil...there were two dumplings, and the ingredients were completely incorporated into the dough?! The schnitzel was okay. The wine was good, and the coffee was good too. This place thrives on passing traffic. The view is beautiful, and even in bad weather, it's nice to sit on the terrace.

Beautiful terrace overlooking the Rhine. Compared to a visit two years ago, the food and service have improved considerably. Highly recommended. The adjoining Rhine garden is very nice, with self-service and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.

Probably one of the best spots in town, with a stunning view of the Rheingau. The extensive menu and prompt service make it a worthwhile visit.

The food was okay, but nothing more. Not good enough for the price. My Caesar salad with chicken was bland, but edible. My son had schnitzel with steakhouse fries. The schnitzel was okay, but there are much better schnitzels in Eltville and the surrounding area at better prices. The fries were soggy. The ambiance was nice, but the service was rather taciturn.

A decent restaurant with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the Rhine. The service was competent and helpful, but there was no indication of the daily specials! The food was very good (rump steak). The downside: not a single fish dish!

We had dinner on the outdoor terrace on Wednesday. It was cloudless and over 30 degrees Celsius, but the location of the terrace wasn't a problem (it's in the shade). The view from the terrace is fantastic; you can see the Rhine or the vineyards, which is really great. The food we ordered (starter salads and vegetarian main courses) arrived very quickly, was fresh, delicious, and well-seasoned. Kudos to the kitchen. The service was quick and attentive, but unfortunately, they seemed to be in a bad mood... it can happen sometimes, given the temperatures ;) We'd be happy to come back for dinner.

A charming spot nestled between the Rhine, vineyards, and deckchairs. It's comfortably designed throughout, with plenty of space for small and large events. There's even a children's playground with lovely sand, allowing parents to enjoy a cool drink in peace. The view of the Rhine and the vineyards is a delight.

Very good restaurant with friendly staff. We had a wonderful birthday party with 44 people. The location is unique, with a direct view of the Rhine.

The two of us sat on the outdoor terrace and had a bite to eat. The food was delicious, everything fresh and beautifully presented, and our special requests were accommodated. The food arrived quickly, and the server was very friendly. The view from the terrace of the Rhine and the vineyards is simply fantastic! We really enjoyed it and would love to come back!

We were there three evenings. The service, location, and ambiance were all very good. The food was good, but not top-notch. In particular, the expensive soup at the starter should have been served hot and with more garnish. But that was the only downside. Therefore, the Yellow House is highly recommended! 🙂

A beautiful, well-maintained house, a good restaurant with a view of the Rhine. Very friendly service, excellent wines. The vacation apartment is tastefully furnished and in a quiet location. For us, it's always a wonderful getaway.

Very good food in a pleasant atmosphere

Four of us were able to sit on the terrace. The steak, roast beef, and beef salad, along with fries or fried potatoes and a small salad, were excellent. The service also left nothing to be desired! Good value for money. Highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights in a holiday apartment at the Gelbes Haus wine tavern and were completely satisfied. Super nice, clean, lovingly furnished holiday apartment with everything your heart desires. The view is also a dream. The food in the restaurant was very good. Service quick and friendly. We'd love to come back!

I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Schnitzel tasteless, fried potatoes in fat. Vegetarian dish inedibly spicy. Tartar boringly seasoned. All in all, it's not worth spending your money there. I would like to positively mention the friendly and attentive service, who complained about the food for us in the kitchen twice

It was incredibly tasty, very good wine selection, unobtrusive, friendly, nice service, phenomenal view (vineyard, castle and Rhine) We immediately went out for another delicious meal :)

The service was very friendly. The food was delicious. And the ambience with a view of the vineyard is simply wonderful. What was eaten was asparagus and boiled potatoes with hollandaise and small schnitzel, meat patties on mashed potatoes with onion sauce and cucumber salad. For dessert there was strawberry tiramisu and passion fruit creme brulee. In terms of price, the yellow house is located higher up but is worth a detour, for example after a walk along the Rhine

Pretty unfriendly. Guest room only sparsely attended. When we asked for just something to drink, we were very rudely told that this was a dining restaurant. There would still be space in the garden. In the pouring rain… haha. It was 3:40 p.m. and the tables were reserved for 6:30 p.m. Earning money doesn't seem necessary.

100%, very beautiful. For me it's a holiday feeling. You can feel comfortable on the Rhine with the vineyards. There is a great vineyard right next to the castle. You get coffee, cake, wine and Hessian food to feast on. Deck chairs and seating areas.

Conditional. Winter garden with a view of the Rhine is nice, but cold air blows through. Foccaccia was very fatty, pork tenderloin was good.

The service was very friendly and attentive. The food is good but not great either, so I give it a four out of five. In summer you probably sit outside and enjoy the view, but inside there is a bit of coziness missing.

The evening was nice, as was the location, but somehow there were disruptive factors everywhere. When it comes to goulash, the meat is tough. The red cabbage was completely overcooked, soggy... Price performance, well that's how it works. Went there on a recommendation and the reviews are impressive. Briefly mentioned our wives' birthdays, twins... I had a tired grin 🤷 It's a shame, I left a lot of money there. I can't recommend it, it could be better.

Nice restaurant with home-style cuisine in the heart of Eltville. The service was very friendly and attentive. The rump steak was good, the salad was even better. The prices seem okay. Overall, you can happily go here and enjoy a good meal.

Beautiful view of the Rhine from the winter garden. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices are quite high, which is why I would have expected the inventory to be intact. Glasses at our table were consistently damaged, the Brussels sprouts with the pork medallions were cold. My plate also had 2 cracks on the edge. The wall facing the window could also use some cleaning. The sweetener spreader was dirty/rusted. Otherwise the food was good.

We went to the restaurant with guests from Australia, Hamburg and Bad Schwalbach. The menu is great for all ages. Our grandchild ate a lot.

We stayed in the FeWo Langenstück and found everything to be clean and in order for the second time. We'd love to come back. We always combine the visit with dinner at the Yellow House. It was also highly recommended and extremely tasty, regardless of whether it was vegetarian or meat.

I went there to eat before an event at the Eberbach Monastery because of the positive reviews and was disappointed!!! The schnitzel and also the fried potatoes came out of the deep fryer! That was a snack standard! NOT TASTY!

The apartment was great so far. Unfortunately there were old cobwebs hanging everywhere on the ceiling. The sink was also partly broken or wobbly. Otherwise the accommodation was quite nice. The staff was extremely friendly.

View fantastic. Spontaneity great. Service was sufficient - we would have liked to have had something to drink as an aperitif after the champagne, but unfortunately we no longer had any service to take care of us. One order and one delivery of drinks and food is called service? I also know fried potatoes differently - I wouldn't call potatoes that have been cooked briefly in the pan fried potatoes - the rest of Germany understands it differently!
