Summary: The Rheingau region is exactly as you imagine it... In detail: since you can only give 4 or 5 stars, we gave it four; half a star more would be more fitting... We visited on a Tuesday evening. Since we travel with our dog, we always call ahead to avoid any unpleasant surprises. The restaurant assured us, "We'll find a spot for you." And that's exactly what happened. We sat at the only table with a corner bench, initially alone, but later other guests joined us. Our drinks were served promptly, and shortly after, the appetizer salad arrived, followed by the main course, which also didn't take long to arrive. Everything was absolutely delicious. Both the head cheese with remoulade and the Wiener Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, each served with fried potatoes, were excellent. What more could you want? A comfortable seating area, friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, a satisfying meal, and all accompanied by a few glasses of white wine – this is how you imagine the Rheingau region.

Exceptionally courteous and service-oriented staff. A real treat for me as a Berliner. The owner was also very patient with our appointment. The food was excellent and varied.
