The cooking here is done with so much love! At Baiken, they put their heart and soul into their work, passionate about regional products. This beautiful property is nestled in the middle of the vineyards, offering magnificent views of the Rhine and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, and it quickly became clear that this was the right place for us, that we felt at home. The food was to die for, the wines were delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and it was simply wonderful. Our sincere thanks to the entire team; we'll be happy to return.

We tried several times to get a table here since it reopened. Apparently, you have to make a reservation several days in advance. Otherwise, it's impossible to get a table, even shortly after the restaurant opens.

Folks, Baiken wants to be a gourmet temple. The interior design may be flawed, but the view from above is breathtaking. Why complain about the prices? If it's free, it's free, right?

Today, the two of us ate at Baiken for the first time. What can I say? A perfect evening from start to finish! The service was very attentive and courteous, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the four-course menu, which also included a welcome drink from the chef. I can't remember the last time I ate so well. The diverse flavors in each course were fantastic. Of course, dinner here is a bit more expensive, but considering the ingredients, the cooking, and the ambiance, it's absolutely fair. You can still feel the passion and attention to detail here. Thank you, dear Baiken team, for the wonderful evening. We'll be back!

The other day, four of us ate at Baiken. Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing for the price of €500 for four people, which is outrageous! The value for money is not at all right here. The appetizer, "Carbonara," isn't what its name suggests. It's more like a mushroom soup for €30. The dessert was a frozen goat cheese ball covered in chocolate. The ball was so frozen that it was impossible to eat. The main course was okay. The service was okay too. The chairs were uncomfortable and had no cushions. So, all in all, unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant visit, just exorbitantly expensive! What a shame!

No question – top-notch cuisine. But if I'm willing to pay these prices, I want to be full. The portions were definitely too small for me. That might be enough for some, but my goal is not just to enjoy, but also to be full.

The Baiken Restaurant boasts a stunning location amidst the vineyards above Eltville. The cuisine is very tasteful and diverse, with excellent local wines. The service is consistently courteous, attentive, and friendly, which pleasantly rounds off the overall experience. The only slight drawback is the price: The harmonious concept is at the higher end of the price scale – especially compared to some other, sometimes more affordable, Michelin-starred restaurants. The fact that no main course is cheaper than €45 is somewhat questionable. Overall, however, it's a highly recommended place for connoisseurs who appreciate a special ambiance.

Gewohnt netter Groenesteynservice sowie Speisenqualität, die Baikenlage macht es besonders, die Räumlichkeiten wirken allerdings für ein Restaurant mit Sterneanspruch etwas eng bzw überladen - schön, dass es schon so gut löuft, aufwändig Essen macht uns allerdings mit mehr Ruhe mehr Freude. Die Weinkarte wird hoffentlich noch über die Weine des Vermieters hinaus dann ausgeweitet. Viel Erfolg im neuen Haus ans Team! Wir kommen wieder.

Loveless service, expensive with mediocre quality,

An absolute gem in the Rheingau! The restaurant on the winery not only offers a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere with views of the vineyards, but also excellent service. The seasonal menu was of the highest standard – from the quality of the ingredients to the artistic presentation, everything was a true feast for the eyes and a delight for the palate. We left completely satisfied and happy and will definitely be back. Five out of five stars!

The Baiken's location remains sensational, of course, even after the change of tenant. What I have changed, however, is the value for money. For an appetizer, main course, and dessert, including drinks, we paid a whopping €270 for two people. I'm used to this price level from Michelin-starred restaurants. Unfortunately, the kitchen's performance was by no means up to that standard. The appetizer and dessert were certainly creative and well-crafted. The main courses (eagle fish, €50+, and a very special carbonara) were simply not worth the prices. And when, 30 minutes after the restaurant opens and there are very few guests, the large trash can in the men's restroom is already (or still?) half full, that raises further questions for me. Sorry, but I was disappointed.

We used to come here quite often to enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately, that's over for us now. After reading the many reviews, you can see that many still refer to the previous owner. We no longer felt comfortable here. The welcome wasn't as warm and welcoming as it used to be; it was more dismissive, the prices were very high, and our food was unfortunately only lukewarm, except for the dessert, which was quite tasty. Overall, a waste of time and money!

How wonderful that this special place is "back." The reopening has been a complete success. A very friendly and welcoming young team, a great ambiance, the same unique view, and now also a truly wonderful kitchen with outstanding flavor and wine experiences. If you're looking for a beautiful restaurant for a special occasion, Baiken is the perfect place. The food is outstanding, imaginatively selected, and beautifully presented. Of course, the Rheingau region also offers the best wines imaginable. For beer drinkers, the menu is rather lackluster; wheat beer isn't available, I could easily add. It's a wonderful place to sit among the vineyards and enjoy a panoramic view of nature. The service is good, but with so many questions about whether the food tastes good, you hardly get to eat it yourself 😀 sometimes less is more. Reserving via email worked very well; a response came quickly and was very personal. That's rare.

A beautiful oasis with excellent service and very good food

Very friendly and attentive service in a stunning location, completely secluded in the vineyards of Eltville Martinsthal with a breathtaking view. The food is truly fine dining, which is reflected in the prices. The veal was exceptionally juicy. The dessert was so refreshing and delicious with champagne and mint. A definite recommendation for special occasions.

fantastic food, and a beautiful location in the vineyards, but somewhat rustic interiors. Cook Schroer took over an exceptionally located ensemble of houses belonging to the State vineyards. Unfortunately, part of the deal seems to be that he serves mainly or only State vineyard wines - but if you ask, they may make available other choices. Our 4 course menu was excellent - maybe topped by the amuse-geule of avocado/cucumber creme on top of a well-dressed veal tartare. The interior is not fit for a soon-maybe-starred restaurant. They also have a glassed-in patio with simple furniture and great views, and the nicest must be the outside tables. Very kind staff, super service

I know this chef from his time in Kiedrich. We were there for my birthday. The service was very friendly, the ambiance wonderful. The food was a disaster, considering the standards of a "star restaurant." The "star" made absolutely no sense to us. The main course came with a side of popcorn! The dessert, again decorated with popcorn... Hello?? We invited the chef to the table. Grumpy, completely uncomprehending, listening, without comment, and walking away. €450 for 2 people Period.

Wir hatten uns gefreut auf einen schönen Abend im wiedereröffneten Baiken. Leider wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Die "Schaumsuppe vom Spargel" (19€) war versalzen, das dazu gereichte "Taschenkrebssandwich" allerdings delikat. Das Perlhuhn (48€!) war vorzüglich. Allerdings sind die im neuen Balken aufgerufenen Preise jenseits von gut und böse. Die Atmosphäre ist modern aber sehr kalt. Der trotz rechtzeitiger Reservierung angebotene Platz direkt an der Tür war eine Zumutung. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Alles in allem war der Besuch enttäuschend.

You have to wait an incredibly long time for your food, especially if you have several courses you sit for a long time. The food is really good, but the prices are way too high, so something is missing. The service is courteous and you can tell that value is placed on the image.

Interessante Speisekarte mit originellen Speisen, exzellent gekocht und optisch gut zubereitet, aber sehr kleine Portionen - bei zwei Fischgerichten minimale Fischteile in nur einer (allerdings sehr guten, feinen Sauce aus vielerlei Grün). Dafür zu teuer - sehr gehobene Preise insgesamt. Neues, Frisches Ambiente nach Inhaberwechsel.

Baiken is a real asset for Eltville. The food is simply great and always tastes good. The changing menu always brings variety and doesn't let you get bored. Everyone will find what they are looking for. In addition, the service is super friendly and attentive. The view of the vineyards creates an incomparable atmosphere. The interiors are beautifully and modernly renovated, a clear difference from its predecessor. The wine stand in the Baiken courtyard invites you to linger on sunny days. Here you can relax perfectly, enjoy the beautiful surroundings as well as a good wine and small dishes. Overall, Baiken is a must for anyone looking for good cuisine, beautiful views and an inviting atmosphere. I always enjoy coming back!

Yesterday we were in the newly opened "Baiken bei Schröer". This restaurant no longer has anything to do with the old Baiken that we loved. However, if you get used to the new ambience, you can now enjoy the ambitious culinary art of Hernn Schröer instead of a casual country house kitchen. He cooks at a high level with his young team. The prices are accordingly. The service from the patroness is charming, unpretentious and attentive. All the dishes we enjoyed were very good. The main courses, the skrei and the mackerel, were a bit too small in our opinion, so that in our opinion the price-performance ratio wasn't quite right. We can still recommend the restaurant without reservation and will definitely come back to the beautiful vineyards above Eltville.

Unfortunately it's just a chic place for high society - no longer the classic bar as I know it. Unfortunately not recommended for people with normal incomes. Lamb and fish for 'from €43 pp'! I can't say anything about the food: we left after a bottle of water.

The unique location in the vineyards above Eltville requires little decoration. Restrained in white and gray with a beautiful wooden floor and chairs where you can comfortably enjoy the menu. The prices are high for the Rheingau and give rise to high expectations. There's an artist working in the kitchen here who doesn't want to cook for anyone who's looking for simple, fresh, unpretentious food. The service is very attentive and quick. A certainly nice place for special occasions. With an aperitif, wine and a three-course menu on the weekend you have to expect to pay over 100 euros per person. The toilets can be reached via a long, steep staircase, and you can park your car close by. I hope that there will be more affordable, regional dishes for cyclists and hikers in the summer and wish the team much success.

Give us back our old Baiken!!! After our return to Frankfurt, we went to Baiken, which has reopened under new management a few days ago. A bitter disappointment! The food was average. A menu with “upscale” dishes, most of which were neither seasonal (tomato) nor local. Why do I have to serve shrimp, squid, mackerel, couscous etc. in the vineyards in the Rheingau and at top prices. We preferred the honest, simple, seasonal and, above all, delicious cuisine of our predecessors a thousand times more!!!

The change of tenant has done more than just good for the property - culinary perfection, great service and very comfortably furnished, plus the top location above the vineyards - what more could you want ❤️

Super brilliant evening... top for years

Nach einer schönen Wanderung kehren wir im Baiken ein, wo wir vorsichtshalber reserviert haben. Vor einer halben Ewigkeit war ich das letzte Mal hier. Vor dem Hof gibt es erfreulicherweise ausreichend Parkplätze. Beim Eintreten des Lokals werden wir von Radiogedudele und einem "lustigen" Mann begrüßt. Viele Gäste sind zur Zeit nicht da, was sich aber im Lauf des Abends ändert. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist nicht gerade groß, was mich aber weniger stört, doch die Preise scheinen mir übertrieben: 32,50€ für eine Lachsschnitte mit schlotzigem (so steht es auf der Karte) Porree und Salzkartoffeln. Das Lauchgemüse ist schwer zu kauen, denn das zähe dunkle Grün ist nicht lang genug gekocht worden. Keine Empfehlung mehr in Eltville trotz der tollen Lage.

Beautiful location, delicious food and great service!

Der Gutsausschank ist wunderschön inmitten von Weinbergen gelegen, mit fantastischer Aussicht Ich hatte einen Tisch für 14 Leute ( Freundeskreis) auf der Außenterrasse reserviert. Uns wurde bereits vor dem Essen angekündigt, dass wir entweder eine Gesamtrechnung bekommen oder, bei getrennter Kasse, einen Aufschlag von 10% berechnet würde. Ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt! Immerhin haben wir für über 600 € gegessen und getrunken, da kann man sich schon mal die Mühe machen, die Leute einzeln abzukassieren, zumal einige gar kein Bargeld dabei hatten. Wir haben also alles aufwendig berechnen müssen! Das Essen/ die Hauptspeisen waren dann eher überschaubar, mittelmäßig gut im Geschmack , mit anderen Worten: das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis lässt zu wünschen übrig!

Tief enttäuscht, ein Kellner mit dem T- Shirtaufdruck „I hate people“ und einer Panzerkette als Schmuck. Für ein Restaurant im gehobenen Preissegment - einfach daneben.Ein Kellner in legeren Kurzturnhosen mit Weissem T- Shirt als käme er gerade vom Sport. Eine nette Bedienung , die es nicht fertiggebracht hat , eine stimmige Rechnung zu präsentieren. Trotz mehrfacher Überarbeitung immer noch falsch. Wir gaben dann einfach auf —trotz Überzahlung. Das Essen selbst war soweit in Ordnung, auch wenn die Portionen überschaubar waren. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nicht mehr betreten. Michael Schröder Walluf

The location is very nice, but you also pay for it. The price-performance ratio is not right here. Charging 30 euros for some chicken and risotto is steep. It's not star cuisine, it tastes quite good but you won't really get full. For a salad that only consists of lettuce leaves, croutons and half a radish, 12 euros is also too much. Wine was very good.

Beautiful location, wonderfully planted terrace with a beautiful view over the vineyards. The service is nice and courteous. The wines are really good. The quality of the food is rather mediocre. Completely gristly rump steak and limp chicken breast, more boiled than fried. The dry starter “Vitello Tonnato” unfortunately hinted at where the culinary journey was headed. The high prices do not match the demands placed on the courts. The beautiful location and the high tourist frequency probably do not require any higher demands on the cuisine. It's hard to imagine what a gem this beautiful location would be in combination with excellent food.

Ein schönes Restaurant hoch in den Weinbergen gelegen mit schönem Blick über den Rheingau. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Über die Preise muss man sich nicht echauffieren wenn man weiß das es in diversen Restaurantführern enthalten ist. Qualität ein schöner Platz und sehr gutes Essen ergeben den Preis.

A shady spot and the feeling of not being immersed in the crowd. Such a nice service and the dog was also provided with water :) .. the food was very nicely prepared and also great quality and also tasted great. It wasn't there for the last time. It is better to make a reservation so that you are not disappointed if there is no table available. …The way back to the car is also pleasant. Parking spaces are available in front of the Weingjut…

The Baiken is located just outside Eltville, in the middle of the picturesque vineyards, and offers an idyllic ambience. The inn exudes a Mediterranean flair, and the terrace is particularly noteworthy. After a hike through the vineyards, we sat down there and enjoyed the beautiful view. Our host was extremely charming, funny and extroverted, but always professional. Not only did he fulfill all of our wishes, but his unique personality gave the evening a special lightness. The food was good. We had asparagus soup and a salad as a starter, both were fine. The main course was rump steak with herb butter and fried potatoes. My steak was a little overdone, but otherwise very okay. The dessert was unspectacular. Baiken is definitely worth a visit. We will happily recommend it to others. The people and location are always worth it, and the food was good. A visit is definitely worth repeating.

Sehr schöne Lage, insbesondere auf der Terrasse bei schönen Wetter hat man einen einen sehr schönen Blick über die gesamte Ebene. Leider stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht mehr. Ohne Zweifel, die Speisen sind lecker, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Diese bekommt man woanders in guten Restaurants bei gleicher Qualität ca. 30 % billiger. Gleiches gilt bei den Getränken. Da die Speisen schon sehr rasch nach der Bestellung kamen, sind die Kosten auch nicht mit besonders aufwendiger Zubereitung zu erklären. Es hat geschmeckt, man sitzt sehr schön, zahlt dafür aber auch viel Geld....

Wir waren an einem schönen, aber später frischen Juniabend im Restaurant und haben sehr schön im überdachten Aussenbereich gesessen und den tollen Ausblick über die Weinberge genossen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben jeden Gang genossen. Ein sehr guter Wein hat den Abend abgerundet. Service war sehr aufmerksam und locker. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

12.5 euros for a dessert with a scoop of ice cream and 5 strawberries. 7 euros for a bottle of water. Rump steak streaky and cold. The waitress couldn't remember 4 dishes. The other portions were previously considered children's plates. Loveless from A to Z. Paid 220 euros for 4 people and then the result. This is disrespectful to the customer who pays so much money.

This is an amazing place! You will not be disappointed, however don’t take the right turn on the dirt road off the highway go down to the next road.

The Baiken is beautifully situated, the outside area is cozy, the inside is rustic. It should be a birthday invitation, something special. Unfortunately it was forgotten or not noted. The food was expensive, I was aware of that, but it didn't match it. The starter salad wasn't fresh and completely acidic from too much vinegar, miserable marinade. The main course, lamb or chicken without a visual highlight, carelessly arranged, was dripping/swimming in fat. For me, that wasn't a service regarding a forgotten reservation for my birthday. The food was not included in the price. It is not recommended. Too expensive for the performance.

What a wonderful experience for lunch. We went to Baiken for a Sunday lunch which was delicious with a friendly staff that made for a great experience. I enjoyed the lamb, polenta, and white asparagus with a dry riesling for lunch and I was pleased with everything. The location is beautiful, and if you like to walk or hike what better than the vineyards and forest in this area finishing with a glass of wine and a bite to eat. I have also taken my bicycle here which was fun with a mix of paved, dirt, and cobblestone roads if you are pedaling from Wiesbaden. Again, service was warm and friendly which really made for my perfect afternoon. I will definately be back.

The food was not only outstanding, but excellent. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The feeling of eating well in the middle of the vineyard is indescribable.

... I've been to Baiken several times, but this time it was nothing: my rump steak was simply a bad piece of meat, not particularly well fried. The fried potatoes lay carelessly in far too much oil. The consistently burnt bacon cubes rounded off the bad taste - and visual - impression. Prices increased significantly compared to last year?! If I hadn't been invited, I would have made a big deal...

We had a very nice evening yesterday and everything was really perfect. The quality of the food and the preparation were top(!!), the service was attentive and very friendly and the atmosphere, location and the view over the Rheingau are very appealing anyway. I haven't been there for a few years, Baiken was no longer on my radar, and I'll definitely be back at short notice. There is also plenty of parking space. That is always important to me. Not exactly cheap, but quality has its price and the price-performance ratio is right here.

I have been a regular here for well over 10 years. On October 15th I was at Baiken with two friends for our quarterly meeting, where we regularly generate sales of €80 to €100 per person - plus generous tips. The service was slow, as there was only one trained service person available alongside three obviously untrained and under-supervised temporary workers. The boss only appeared when the restaurant suddenly began to fill up around 6 p.m. We were asked to move from a table of six to a table of four, but were then moved to a table of two squeezed into the corner. It had not been communicated beforehand that we only had a limited amount of time available. My complaint was answered by saying that we would no longer eat and that we could hold our glasses in our hands. In a restaurant in this price category, I find such treatment of guests to be disrespectful and unappreciative. The question remains whether it's worth alienating regular guests just to be able to occupy a table again. A pity. All the more so since the catering industry hasn't exactly been booming since Corona or during the current crisis.

The food is consistently very good and the ambience is very nice and tasteful. You feel absolutely well dressed even when dressed casually. Pleasant and friendly service, always there when you need you, but never intrusive. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

Baiken is my personal favorite restaurant, the food is great, the atmosphere is great and the service is also great. The managing director Vera Förster is a very nice person, especially Dennis, who always spreads a good mood. Definitely a great recommendation.

Great food and atmosphere at this Michelin rated restaurant. The service was excellent and friendly. It was very busy, so I recommend you make reservations. They do not accept credit cards, so bring enough cash. Definitely try the creme brulee.

Very nice and competent service, all dishes (we had four different ones) prepared perfectly, unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside, we were also very satisfied inside. There is no substitute for the “Baiken” in Baiken!

Anlässlich des Rheingau-Musik-Festivals war ich mal wieder im Baiken. Dass es eine teure Location ist, ist bekannt und über das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gibt es auch unterschiedliche Meinungen. Aber gestern musste ich feststellen, dass man sich weiterentwickelt hat - von Gewinnoptimierung zu Gewinnmaximierung. Eine einfache Bratwurst vom Grill mit einem Schlag Kartoffelsalat kostete 12,50€. Das ist Nepp. Bei den anderen Speisen war es ähnlich – der Flammkuchen war sogar kleiner als der Teller und kostete 9,50€ bzw. 10,50€. Und alles mit Selbstbedienung. Ich empfehle, geht in andere Weingüter. Es existieren im Rheingau genügend.

Rheingau Music Festival, Hildegard Knef. Veranstaltung war großartig, Essen 4-, unverschämt teuer, das Ambiente jedoch sehr nett

Was für eine Enttäuschung in (fast) jeglicher Hinsicht. Aufgrund anderer Bewertung des Weingutes habe ich mit großen Erwartungen den Gutsausschank Baiken betreten. Und dann kam die Enttäuschung: Der Wein hat nicht geschmeckt (habe 3 verschiedene Rieslinge probiert), das Essen war nicht gut (der Sommersalat als Vorspeise hatte nur nach der Marinade geschmeckt, das Backhähnchen als Hauptspeise hat aufgrund des versalzenen Kartoffelsalat nicht geschmeckt - und Nachtisch hatte ich gar nicht erst versucht). Dazu kam noch ein schlechter Service (bestelltes Essen falsch gebracht, die Brotkörbchen bei der Vorspeise wurden trotz mehrfacher Bitte nicht aufgefüllt, und alles dauerte sehr lange) - obwohl aufgrund der schlechten Witterung fast kaum Gäste da waren.

Richtig toll ! Super netter Service - sehr emphatisch und zuvorkommend ! Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Essen mega lecker - bodenständige Küche sehr kreativ und hochwertig interpretiert ! Danke an Kemal, der ein toller Gastgeber ist! Wir kommen gerne wieder - sehr zu empfehlen ist das sauerampfer-Eis! Unfassbar toller Blick in die Weinberge - rundum perfekt !

Wir gingen bisher gerne in das "Ausflugsrestaurant", mit toller Lage und freundlichem Personal, 4 - 5 mal im Jahr, ideal bei gutem Wetter. Leider waren wir (4 Personen) am 16.07.23 erneut recht unzufrieden mit der Qualität und der Präsentation der Speisen. Die Sülze vom Tafelspitz war "wie aus der Dose" leider mit wenig Aroma. Das Lamm war als einzelne zerrissene Fleischstücke (wie Gullasch) im Kartoffelbrei ertränkt, der umgeben von brauner Soße schwamm - und das für € 27,50 . Die Maultäschle waren hart, auch in Soße ertränkt - Lecker ist anders. Leider wurden wir dieses Jahr das zweite mal enttäuscht, sehr schade. Vielleicht hatte der Koche Urlaub, viel wird auch von Personalnot gesprochen, aber wir waren vorher meist zufrieden. Wir wünschen dem Betreiber dies als Denkanstoß, eine solche Kritik im Lokal vor anderen Gästen wollten wir nicht anbringen - und haben die Teller fast leer gegessen :)

Ein wirklich tolles, etwas teureres Restaurant. Im Innenhof sitzt man richtig toll. Selbst im Sommer ist es dort schattig sodass man mit herrlichem Blick in die Weinberge, essen kann ☺️ Es gibt eine kleine, ausgewählte Karte. Das Dessert dürfte für seinen Preis etwas größer sein. Super aufmerksamer und schneller Service!

Tolle Lokation, netter Service, das Essen war OK. Die Portionen waren absolut ausreichend , die Qualität der Produkte gut. Für meine Frau und mich war es stellenweise ein wenig zu fett. So hatten die gebratenen Austernseitlinge in meinem Vorspeisensalat etwas zu viel Butter und das geschmorte Lamm meiner Frau zuviel Fett in der Sauce.

Wir waren heute nur auf ein Glas Wein im Gutsausschank. Ich kann daher das Essen nicht bewerten. Aber wir waren von der Freundlichkeit der Bedienung und der Qualität des Weines so angetan, dass ich hier an dieser Stelle sehr gerne ein dickes Lob aussprechen will. Absolut nette Location in schönem Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert! Meine Freundin und ich kommen gerne wieder !

Waren heute spontan zur Mittagszeit dort und haben einen Wein getrunken, aber nichts gegessen. Das Ambiente und die Aussicht sind fantastisch, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hat eine von mir verursachte Fehlbestellung ohne Diskussionen korrigiert. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

In Ermangelung von 0 Sternen: Wir wurden auf eine Frau Jäger im Eingangsbereich verwiesen, wo wir uns unübersehbar hinstellten. In der Zwischenzeit sind mehrere Angestellte an uns vorbeigelaufen ohne sich zu erkundigen. Nach 10min sind wir dann gegangen. Wegen Reichtum und Hochnäsigkeit geschlossen?

Ich war mit meiner Schwester mittags dort ohne Reservierung und wir hatten Glück im Außenbereich noch einen schönen Platz mit Blick auf die Weinberge zu bekommen. Wir hatten Forelle mit Spargelrisotto bestellt, sowie eine Suppe und einen Nachtisch mit Rhabarber und Vanilleeis. Das Personal war nett und freundlich. Das Essen war spitzenmäßig, entspricht einem Frankfurter Top-Restaurant. Preislich gibt sich das mit 50 EUR pro Person auch zu erkennen. Parkplätze sind kostenlos gibt es quasi vor der Tür.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Sehr freundlicher Service. Hervorragendes Essen, nicht die Riesenportion ,aber hochwertig ! Modern, gemütliche Einrichtung. Nicht günstig, aber dem guten Essen angepasst...und natürlichviele Weinvariationen mit gigantischem Blick !

Wir wurden mit insgesamt vier Hunden extrem freundlich empfangen. Da kann sich so manches Restaurant mal eine Scheibe abschneiden. Der Wein so wie die spontan hergerichtete Käseplatte war köstlich. Ausnahmslos alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Ein Service wie er nicht besser sein kann. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Vielen Dank und bitte weiter so 👏

Also was soll ich sagen da stapfen wir 7jahre lang vorbei und heute mit einem Hundewandertrupp der Tourdogs spontan eingekehrt. Also sowas nettes und Hunde freundliches hab ich ja noch nicht erlebt. Wirklich das gesamte Personal mega Hundelieb es gab sogar Karotten für den Allergiker zur Begrüßung. Wein Top , Käse und selbst gemachtes Brot ein Traum.....mit tollem Weitblick....wir kommen jetzt öfters

Schöne Lage und nette Außenterrasse mit Ausblick; fünf Sterne dafür. Die insgesamt doch gute Bewertung des Restaurants hat uns hingezogen. Jedoch das Essen war in unserem Fall weit weniger als durchschnittlich gut. Schweinebraten zäh und Gemüse überkocht....qualitativ eine Enttäuschung.

Lage Top - Essen Flop. Rheingauer würden diese Adresse nicht empfehlen. Preis-Leistung völlig realitätsfern zur Qualität, Portionsgröße und Vielfalt. Wir als Einheimische never.....ever.....

Schade, wunderschöner Platz, aber Total überteuert und Qualität stimmt nicht…. Vegetarischer Salat als Hauptgang ohne Brot 21,50€!!!!!!! Für 32,50 Euro pro Teller zwei Rumpsteaks erhalten die bestenfalls "essbar" waren! Völlig von Sehnen und Flexe durchzogen. Die Bratkartoffeln total fettig.Beilagensalat sehr lecker und auch frisch aber nur eine Miniportion.Der Kellnerin haben wir beim Abräumen den Mangel mitgeteilt, die da Antwortete …….“Och“…. Und verschwand….. Preis / Leistung passen hier überhaupt nicht… NIE WIEDER…….

Wonderful location embedded in wine yard with nice view on surroundings. Service is a friendly/ funny one composed of the local attitude. The menu is reflecting local ingredients, while these are well refined and sometimes not very common being a delicious surprise.

mir unbegreiflich warum ich diese Lokalität noch gar nicht kannte ein super lauschiges Plätzchen mitten im Rheingau mit super Blick dazu tolle Mitarbeiter, immer nett und ansprechbar, dazu flink eine sehr überschaubare Speisekarte, aber das hat ja auch was alle Gerichte alle Gänge, super schmackhaft, frisch, reichhaltig dazu gute Weine aus dem Rheingau (wie überall im Rheingau natürlich überteuert) Reservierung ist definitiv empfohlen; und ja hier lässt man auch ein paar Euro aber die sind es definitiv wert Wir werden wiederkommen

Wir waren heute auf Empfelung einiger Kollegen im "Baiken". Das Baiken liegt etwas abseits von Eltville am Rhein. Es handelt sich um einen Gutshof umgeben von Weinbergen. Die nächsten Gebäude sind ca. 1km entfernt. Die Homepage ist sehr spartanisch und man findet weder eine Speisekarte noch eine Online-Reservierung - man muß also klassisch über Telefon reservieren. Wir haben uns auf ein tolles Menu in mehreren Gängen gefreut. Die Karte war jedoch recht simpel: 4 Vorspeisen, 2 Suppen, 4 Haupspeisen und 2 Nachtische. Auf der Karte fehlte uns der Wow-Effekt. Roastbeef, Cordon Bleu, Kabeljau etc. Das Essen war gut zubereitet und ansprechend angerichtet. Ein gutes, aber nicht sehr gutes Restaurant mit guter Weinkarte. Im einzelnen: Weinkarte - gut bis sehr gut Speisen - gut Bedienung - cool & extrem freundlich Lage & Blick - unbezahlbar gut. Als wir am Samstag Nachmittag mit Reservierung da waren, war alles voll und wir haben dann den letzten Tisch bekommen - also auf jeden Fall reservieren. Kommen wir wieder? Vielleicht! Es war gut, wir haben die Aussicht genossen. Perfekt war es nicht!
