For me the best fish restaurant in Hamburg. Food always tasty and fresh. The service is really very friendly and attentive. Portion size is great and the price is very fair. Side dishes and bread/salad included in advance. Great value for money. I always like to eat the whole sea bream from the grill here, super crispy skin and delicious, juicy fish meat. The Pauli Mix or the fish fillets and the tuna steak are also great. Cozy Pauli atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The food was a real highlight: fresh, creatively prepared, and of the highest quality. We were particularly impressed by the variety of the offerings – there's something for everyone here, whether you're a fish lover, meat lover, or vegetarian. The dishes are not only delicious, but also a visual delight. In conclusion: Waterkant is a clear recommendation for anyone who values ​​excellent food, first-class service, and a stylish ambiance. We will definitely be back!

Very cozy restaurant with a classy ambience. The menu is small, but very high quality dishes. The taste is very harmonious and the service is very accommodating. The interior is elegant and modern at the same time. Beautiful background music is appropriate, which perfectly underlines a cozy and/or romantic evening. We felt very comfortable. Visited this place just for comments on Google and definitely loved it! Super fresh daily fishes, delicious soup and friendly team! Calamari and soup was our favorites!

Everything was top-notch: friendly and attentive service, and the food was delicious. What I often don't understand about restaurants above the mid-range is the absolutely poor value for money. Here's the shellfish ravioli. Aren't guests supposed to be full? The dish was listed as a main course, was priced accordingly, and was nothing but meager. It's really ridiculous... I ended up sacrificing half of the seafood spaghetti so my companion wouldn't leave the restaurant hungry. So, for a total of €100, neither of us was full. Ridiculous...
