Fried fish is served at room temperature...why is it called fried fish? Pigeons at the table in the restaurant...I don't know what anyone could like about that!!!

I don't understand the hype. A very hard roll (cuts into your gums with every bite), then a few onions thrown in, and that's it! Nothing made with love, just thrown in. The fish wasn't anything special either, unfortunately.

Only here you can find the best crab sandwiches! We stop by every time we visit Hamburg!

Best rolls at the Landungsbrücken

The herring sandwich is very tasty, I don't recommend the one with shrimps (crabs), it's normal, but not without a wow effect. Astra beer is good, just regular without lemon. I recommend it to everyone, it's worth it to get to the end of the pier 🙂

We had lunch and were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious, fresh, and lovingly prepared, the service was impeccable, and we had a lovely meal right by the Elbe River. We'll be back!

I ran all the way to the end. Past fries, steak, hot dogs, and endless fish sandwiches. I remained undeterred despite my hunger and the smell of currywurst in the air. And I was rewarded... 😘 Can't complain, the highest praise from the Germans.

In my opinion, they have the best fish sandwiches in Hamburg. Whenever I'm in Hamburg, this is my first stop. And then I can watch the activity in the water and on the piers from the upper deck while enjoying a fish sandwich and a beer.

The pickled herring sandwich was visually stunning, but it was delicious. Since I was alone, I just ordered the signature Matjes with Riesling wine, and the combination was amazing. Highly recommended!!〰️🐟 The salty fish and bread balanced each other perfectly, and the wine was refreshing and tangy, going down smoothly. (I don't like sour flavors, but it wasn't too sour.) If I ever come back, I'd love to try their other sandwiches. ㅠ I saw people ordering pickled herring, fried fish, smoked salmon, and shrimp. Finally, the view! Sitting by the river, eating, the weather was beautiful and blissful. It was sunny, but the cool breeze was perfect.🥹 I visited almost immediately after opening on August 26th. Around 11 o'clock, people were lining up and it was hard to get a table. Fortunately, the turnover rate seemed pretty fast! And they also accept credit cards! They told me the card machine was slow and they didn't know how long it would take, but thankfully, I was able to get through right away. They told other people the machine wasn't working and they'd have to wait 15 minutes. I'm not sure if it was true or if they were trying to force people to pay with cash, so it's a good idea to bring some cash just in case.

🕵🏼‍♀️Today, as part of our Hamburg trip, we stopped by Brücke 10, a local spot on the St. Pauli Pier, as part of our gastronomic tour. 🙆🏼‍♀️If you're a tourist like us, you should definitely visit as a local. 🐟 The most famous one is a "Balık Ekmek" (Fish and Bread) shop. It was delicious, even with incredibly light bread. I loved the Salmon Ekmek (Salmon Bread) and the sauce mixture was wonderful. ☀️The view was incredibly beautiful. It was very peaceful and refreshing. Even though it was a weekend, it wasn't very crowded.

The atmosphere, right on the piers, is, of course, fantastic. However, the crab sandwich was €15. Unfortunately, the fried fish was only available cold from the refrigerated display case. If it's going to be frozen Alaska pollock in breadcrumbs, I think they can at least serve it hot in a sandwich. It's a tourist spot, after all, and you're probably paying for that.

We loved it, friends. You can try them. We chose the fried fish and mackerel fish sandwich. We enjoyed both and tried Fritz-cola. They were all delicious in their own way.

We stopped by Brücke 10 on recommendation, but the experience was underwhelming. Entering the terrace, we were met by a young staff member who seemed more focused on lecturing us than offering a bit of friendly information. If it hadn’t been recommended, we probably would have walked away after that. We ordered the fishball sandwich, which turned out mediocre at best. Maybe our expectations were too high, but it simply wasn’t memorable. On the plus side, the price level matches the quality – €4.60 feels fair. What really didn’t help was the number of pigeons walking around between the tables, which made it less than comfortable to enjoy the food. All in all, not a place we’d make an effort to return to.

STAY AWAY! I ordered two fried fish sandwiches yesterday for lunch. First, they charged me €11.20, then (!) they handed me two ice-cold sandwiches. I asked, "Isn't the fried fish served warm?" The employee's response: "It's a refrigerated counter." I asked, "Is there any chance I could get fresh fried fish?" The employee's response: "Not today!" So we took exactly one bite and tasted it: the sandwiches were ice-cold and rock-hard, the fried fish was equally ice-cold and dry, and the remoulade was already strangely transparent, like the side of a tube. In my opinion, they were absolutely inedible; these sandwiches had been sitting out for quite some time. I went back and asked for the sandwiches to be taken back. This wasn't possible, as we'd already taken a bite. (Yes, of course! Would they have taken them back if we hadn't taken a bite?!) I explained again why we didn't like the rolls and asked if they would at least offer an alternative. No, they wouldn't. I would have gotten what I paid for. Dear Brücke 10, you always respond to negative reviews here with the same phrase: "Did the service mention this?" - Yes, that's exactly what I did. The reaction was rude and not at all customer-friendly. The Asian-looking employee (this is purely for descriptive purposes) deserves special mention. She obviously wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible. I will definitely not be coming back and strongly advise anyone else not to. I've enjoyed every other fish sandwich in Hamburg more.

The location is great, but the food was seriously mediocre. There was nothing fishy about what I ate. The fish sandwich prices are reasonable, but be careful when buying drinks; a Coke costs around 3.5 euros. So, if you're in Hamburg and absolutely must eat fish, it's worth it, but keep your expectations low.

If I could, I wouldn't give it a star, and I absolutely don't understand the good reviews here. We bought two fried fish sandwiches today, and they were delivered ice-cold... I've never experienced anything like that before - the special thing about fried fish sandwiches is that they're served hot or warm, rather than ice-cold, with a yellowish, shimmering remoulade that's had enough time to blend into the breading. Be that as it may, we both tried the fried fish sandwiches and quickly agreed that the taste was a disgrace. Because the fried fish had apparently been refrigerated for a very long time, it was very firm to the bite, dry, and the breading simply tasted of cold fat. We then went back with our sandwiches, which we took exactly one bite into, and politely spoke to the staff. We said that the rolls unfortunately didn't taste good at all and described exactly why we felt that way. The staff took absolutely no notice, were extremely rude, and offered no apology, no offer to choose another roll, or a refund. As I said, we each only took one bite of our rolls!!! The message couldn't be clearer... By the way, it was a young man and a woman, both with dark hair (if the owner would like to train the staff further in terms of service and customer focus - we highly recommend it!). I have honestly never wasted around €11 so needlessly in my life!!!!! But if you need those almost €11 more than satisfied customers, then you deserve it... We finally returned the fried fish rolls and got excellent fish rolls just a few meters away (Brücke 6)! Top quality and super friendly staff (Brücke 6) - you appreciate that all the more after such a terrible experience.

Whenever I'm in Hamburg (which happens several times a year), my first stop from the train station is Brücke 10. The rolls are always fresh and delicious. Even though there's a lot of discussion about the expensive crab sandwiches, they're worth it to me. Whether you choose sparkling wine or beer is up to you. For me, a glass of sparkling wine is a must! I'm already looking forward to the end of the month. I'll be back then.

We came here because of the good reviews, specifically the upstairs outdoor area. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the reviews suggest. Cold fried fish, mediocre salmon, and overly salty herring. Trash from previous guests lay unnoticed on the tables until we asked for it to be cleared away. It's a shame. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe it's better downstairs. But we wouldn't repeat it.

My first fish sandwich in Hamburg. I've walked past it many times and it was always well-filled. I thought it must be good, so I got a matjes sandwich one Wednesday morning. I'm spoiled and love good food. I immediately noticed that it only had onions on it. Okay, I could live with that, but when I wanted to take a bite...what was that?! The sandwich was rock hard! Almost €10 for a hard sandwich and a fried egg. Once and never again. That's not possible.

Unfortunately, we can't understand the positive reviews for the fish sandwiches at Brücke 10. If you're craving a fish sandwich with cold fried fish and a dollop of remoulade sauce in a bone-dry, no-nonsense bread roll, this is the place for you. Anyone hoping for a culinary surprise in the positive sense is probably not in the right place.

I just bought a fried fish sandwich and had it packed up to eat 500 meters away. I have to honestly say I was very disappointed. The sandwich was rock hard, and the fish was very dry. There was hardly any sauce on it, and I found it a bit sloppy. Please do better next time.

The next visit followed just a few days later, with a wonderful view of the Elbe and the hustle and bustle of the river. This time I had the "Fried Herring in sour" (sour fried herring). It's my second favorite after Bismarck herring, but that's a matter of taste. That was another visit to the "Brücke 10" snack bar with a crispy, favorite roll with Bismarck herring and a "Kiezmische" (a typical German dish). "Brücke 10 'The Fish Sandwich Stand'" at the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken, Brücke 10, has reopened after renovations. I took advantage of this opportunity and ordered a delicious, crispy roll with Bismarck herring. The service team was very friendly and attentive.

Fish sandwiches in every variation you can imagine. Everything here is truly recommended! PS: For anyone on their way to the musical, this is the perfect stop!

A cult place for lovers of that very Hamburg fish bun. The service is clear, but not very friendly, at least during the shift when we were there. But I definitely recommend this place for tourists to the city.

Unfortunately, I don't understand the recommendations at all, especially for tourists who want to eat an authentic fish sandwich, which is supposed to be a real highlight. The location is great, but you pay for it. The sandwich was dry, no lettuce, no garnish of any kind, and just a tiny blob of tartar sauce. Unfortunately, we only had mushy fried fish that was tasteless on a dry sandwich. We won't be coming back, even though we were so happy, and the line was surprisingly long.

We tried a variety of fish sandwiches, and the fish cakes were the most delicious. Unfortunately, our son didn't like them as much. Big plus for the atmosphere, minus for the dirty tables.

Here you can enjoy a decent fish sandwich right on the pier. Crab sandwiches go for €15, although others are cheaper, of course. You can sit inside or outside, all self-service. There are also a few tables inside for larger groups.
