This is a cozy inn. Lovingly cooked home cooking. Very tasty and we chose the small portion, which was enough. Great service!

This beautiful fine-dining gem can be found not far from the Dresden Zwinger! Nicole in service and Elvis in the half-open kitchen offer an almost perfect 6-course menu that impresses with an ingenious, imaginative interplay of quality and creativity. From the first second we felt extremely comfortable in this living room (Nicole's own comment) and we really enjoyed the almost four hours. It's almost like being a guest with friends. Nicole and Elvis, please keep it up - we will definitely come back on our next visit to Dresden.

We have discovered the retreat at the Palmenhaus for about 2 years. The restaurant has become a regular place for us because it is run with absolute love, we have never been disappointed with the food, the innkeepers live the family character in the restaurant with as many guests as possible and we simply feel WELL AT HOME here!!!! Tip: Reservation is very useful

In midsummer, we as residents refrained from visiting the beer garden because the outdoor seating is much tighter than before. There's a lot of sitting on top of each other, especially when it's crowded. In addition, the tree that used to provide shade was missing and the heat built up extremely under the parasols. With cooler temperatures, our last visit was fine. The interior is still very quaint and cozy. The staff is really very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the seasoned meat was much too strong/fatty.

I was invited by my girlfriend for her birthday to the Gasthaus zum Hochland for ☕ and cake and warm dinner and various offers on the menu. The service is very friendly and quick service.

Went to Stein Essen on October 17th, 2024 but were disappointed. Prices have risen sharply A farmer's breakfast for €16.90 and then partially burnt and oversalted is amazing. Otherwise, a rustic inn and nice service is top.

We wanted a table for dinner on Sunday at 1:23 p.m. According to the opening times, the kitchen closed at 1:30 p.m. and the restaurant closed at 2 p.m. Sure, a bit tight, but according to their name, everything is still in time. We were told that there was no more food available. Hence the rating.

When the autumn weather is nice, sit outside on the terrace and let the evening end. I can only recommend the service and the food. We would be happy to come back.
