Everything is just right here. From the friendliness to the service to the delicious food and of course the prices. We received a very friendly welcome. The drinks came very quickly and the food was a delight. The portions are rated 1 for price and performance. For a normal eater, the smaller portions are sufficient, as the normal portion is very large. The service was always there so we didn't miss anything. There's no way you can do anything wrong here. On the contrary, you will go back again and again. My tip: reserve in advance. 👍

Here I found myself transported back to my childhood. Like in grandma's apartment. Old music is playing, and the Rabbit and the Wolf is playing on an old television in the basement. The decoration is also a journey through time. Everything fits perfectly here 👍👍 The staff is very friendly and nice. Everyone will find something great on the menu; it's not too big, but it's freshly prepared. Today, Monday, I made a reservation - and it ended up being full. I think that says a lot about the locality. Already in the beer garden we were greeted by a nice little fire in the fire bowl. In summer the beer garden is always very busy. Make a reservation urgently to get a table. Very clear visitor recommendation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Five of us went here for dinner. We all enjoyed the food very much. If you're not that hungry, you should definitely only choose a small portion, because the normal portions are really plenty. We'll definitely come back again. 👍🏻😃 And we did that in January 2025 and didn't regret it because it was wonderful again.

Ate Soljanka, Königsberger Klopse and at the end also a crème caramel, everything was very tasty.

We had our Christmas dinner at the Oma restaurant and loved it! The goose with dumplings and red cabbage was simply delicious - just like grandma's. Everything was perfectly seasoned and had that wonderful, traditional taste that was reminiscent of the past. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, with sofas and stuffed animals that really made it feel homey. You immediately feel at home, almost like you're in your grandma's living room. A great experience that we can recommend to anyone who appreciates good food and a cozy, family atmosphere! We'll definitely be back.

We visited this location during our Dresden weekend and I can only recommend it with reservations! The restaurant is apparently a converted house on two levels, but that doesn't detract from your well-being and it's something completely different! The food is a dream, the menu isn't too big, but I personally always think it's good! Then you can usually assume that everything is freshly prepared, which is certainly the case here! The staff is nice and friendly! I have to say an overall successful visit! The price is also more than okay! Thanks for the nice evening and keep it up! Oh yes, we recommend making a reservation in advance here too!!!

We had booked a table on December 20th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. This was also ready for us on time. The menu is small, but very... very fine. I had beef roulade. It tasted damn good. At the end I talked to the waitress about football, Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Magdeburg. We are from Magdeburg and that day around 7:00 p.m. the meal was over and the mood was very depressed. The attack on our Magdeburg Christmas market changed a lot for us. Nevertheless, thank you for the outstanding hospitality and the great food.

Nice and fitting interior. Unfortunately, the menu actually reminds us of grandma's preparation. e.g. fried potatoes not crispy and without marjoram. The motto here is quantity over quality. Not my thing...too bad.

I've been there several times and have always been 100% satisfied. Rustic decor, super friendly service and very good cuisine. The portions are quite large and the prices are very moderate. When visiting Dresden, stopping there is a MUST!!!

This in advance: it is extremely rare that I give restaurants full points, but here everything was right: Only found it by chance through a Google restaurant search and the name piqued my curiosity. So make a reservation by phone (definitely recommended as it is very well attended). So we showed up promptly at 6:30 p.m. and opened the door to the restaurant and the first impression is really as if you were walking into grandma's room. Old furniture right down to the sofa and a very cozy atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Jan showed us to our table in the attic and since there were two of us and we were sitting at a table for 6, he politely asked if he could seat additional guests with us if necessary. That's how it happened and two more Mecklenburgers found a place and we, nice conversation partners. Just looking at the menus put a smile on your face and whetted your appetite. The food came in the usual restaurant time frame, was well prepared and really tasty like grandma's. The four of us at the table had a really great evening with delicious food and great service and can only recommend Jan and his team. Another plus point, which is always very important in my opinion, is the sanitary facilities, where everything was tip top. Perfect performance through and through. Unfortunately, there is no better way to express it. It is beautifully rustic, the staff were very accommodating and were happy to chat with the large family I had with me. There was a lot of food to choose from, the portion size was very generous for the price and it was damn tasty! We had many different dishes and every single one of them was outstanding. The only drawback (and there's not much you can do about it) is that the toilet cubicles are very small 😅

While looking for a restaurant off the beaten tourist path, we discovered Oma - and the journey was worth it. The ambience is cozy, the service attentive and friendly, the cuisine delicious like, well, grandma's. The entire concept is convincing across the board and not only did we eat very tasty, but we also felt very comfortable all around. For this reason, a big recommendation for grandma. It's your own fault if you don't go.

Cool location, just like grandma's... back then. Arrive, sit down, feel comfortable in Ona's room. Very nice, attentive and polite service, who always has something to say. The highlight is the food. Large, tasty portions, of course... like grandma's. Here you can feel the love for gastronomy and the closeness to the guests. We'll be back.

If you want to eat here, you should make a reservation. We were there 2 evenings and once for lunch and without a reservation we wouldn't have had a chance. The restaurant extends over two floors (the waitress must have sore muscles or leg cramps every day). Nice service, friendly and quick when it comes to serving drinks and food. Eat like grandma's! It brings back memories. There are normal and small portions, although the small portion is more than enough. The chef and assistant chefs are very familiar with the regional dishes. You can tell that it tastes good from the empty plates that are being cleared away. Whether for a birthday party, wedding anniversary or just because: you'll love coming here and feeling like you're on grandma's sofa. Of course, the furnishings also help you feel comfortable.

If you're looking for "good German cuisine", you've come to the right place. You should have a good appetite to cope with the generous portions. Even the side salad tastes good. Local beers and wines are served. Always more than satisfactory.

If you like a cozy, older facility, this is the place for you. Here you can find good traditional food. There is always a large and small portion to choose from on the menu. In my opinion, the small portion would be enough for most people. There is also a beautiful outdoor area. Food was very good. It could have used a little more spice. But otherwise recommended

As always, when we're on the road, when we need to decide where to eat, we come across the best places. Today we tasted "Roastbrät'l" (roast pork) with braised onions, fried potatoes and salad. I'm sorry but I actually have to give it 5 stars, as a native of Dresden I haven't been there for ages. We visited the outdoor area on Sundays with a prior reservation. Our service was great, friendly, attentive and experienced. The portions were large, fresh and damn tasty, I didn't expect such good quality. I and we were very satisfied, the soft ice cream at the end really picked me up. Please check it out, I definitely recommend it. You have to know!

We had the herring, goulash and the macaroni with sausage goulash. Everything was super delicious 😋!!! A really good restaurant!

The food was great, after the waiter's brief advice we decided on the small portion. There was liver and roast beef. Despite the small portion, the plate was very well filled (we even took something with us). We were there for the first time, very satisfied and would like to come back.
