We meet once a month for a seniors' get-together...all to the complete satisfaction of the group.

The price and performance ratio in terms of menu is simply great, service is as you would expect, friendly and always keeping an eye on the guest. The kitchen is very tasteful and creative, so many kitchens in the area can learn a thing or two. I can definitely recommend the inn.

Simply great food and cozy. Goose fat to take away is very good.

As I said, we celebrated our hiking Christmas party in this restaurant again this year. We were very excited about it last year. The food was again fantastic and plentiful. Staff courteous and nice. The ambience was also good, as was the price ratio, everything was great. The next hiking Christmas party will take place here again. A big compliment to the innkeeper and his staff. 👍👏💐

I can really recommend “Rotkrautschänke” to you. The food is very tasty, the service is also good > attentive, fast, friendly; I was invited for a birthday, so we sat at a long table in the separate room; There was another small celebration, also at a long table, a long way from us; I can only give this room 3 stars, it is too cool, too impersonal, too big. If smaller parties book there, I would never sit them down in a long row, because you can only talk to the person opposite you and your neighbors. That's a shame. Why not in a square or L shape then the guests will get more out of it. I give 2 stars for the guest room. It looks cozy, a bit rustic, that fits.

I was at the restaurant for a family celebration. The food was delicious and the view is fantastic. The furnishings are rather rustic.

Good home cooking, large portions as well as senior portions, which are also shown on the menu. We recommend. Keep it up and thank you very much again for the lovely evening with you.

Went in for two without a reservation. Although almost all seats were occupied, service at the table was quick and drinks were also delivered quickly. Food was great and value for money was absolutely top. We'll come back when we're in the area. Highly recommended, keep it up! Good gastronomy has become rare.

It's a shame, this time the food didn't taste good at all, the watery asparagus was tasteless. We've always been happy with the food, but not at all last Sunday

Easily accessible restaurant with very tasty food (breaded plaice), prices are right, not excessive and nice outdoor area when the weather is right. We recommend.

We give the “Gasthaus zum Hochland” a full 5 stars. On our motorcycle Easter trip we arrived at the inn and decided to take a break to eat something. Since we had already been turned away from another restaurant because the kitchen was closed, we first checked to see if there was anything else that could be done. But we really just looked. The innkeeper then came outside and waited briefly and asked if we still wanted to eat something. Because then we should stick to it because the kitchen actually wants to finish. Very nice move from him, so I went in quickly and went to the table to order food and drinks. It didn't take long until the food was in front of us and we could enjoy it. The food was really tasty and fresh. We would like to thank you for the great service and friendly service and can recommend the “Gasthaus zum Hochland” without reservation.

I had the pleasure of ordering a takeaway meal over the phone before the official opening time. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. My food was freshly prepared and of excellent quality. I will definitely come back!

A group of pensioners over 70 met here for dinner. We were very happy with everything and it was tasty. Prices reasonable. Unfortunately it wasn't very warm in the restaurant.

Gut bürgerliche Küche. Für den Preis ist es zu einfach gehalten, sodass das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht ganz stimmt. Nichts desto trotz war das Essen geschmacklich gut und ist einen Besuch wert.

Obwohl wir (5 Personen) erst halb drei ankamen, erhielten wir in einer vertretbaren Zeit ein schmackhaftes und reichhaltiges Essen. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Essen war gut,aber zu viel, ok in meinem Sauerbraten waren auch sehr viele sehnen drin. Wollte eigentlich Seniorenportion, aber da war nur 1 Kloß, mag ich lieber, als Fleisch. Mein Freund hatte Rumpsteak, obwohl guter Esser, war ihm auch zu viel. Ambiente: weichere, gemütlichere Sitzgelegenheiten wären ni zu verachten. Naja sieht bisschen wie Mitropa aus. Nicht sehr gemütlich. Preise naja, eigentlich zu teuer, aber ist ja überall teuer. Würde aber wieder hinkommen, am besten im Sommer, da ist draußen viel Platz, hoffe mit Kissen.

Gaststätte mit wunderschönem Ausblick (Straße) ins nahegelegene Elbtal. Wir fanden es schön.

A nice restaurant with good food and friendly personnel. You get your meal quite quickly. If you want to get lunch or dinner for a group if guests, you can book an extra room that is located just next to the main room.

Mein Tomy hat hier schon als DJ hantiert,lang ist es her. Dieses Mal waren wir mit dem familiären Seniorenclub nur zum gemütlichen Vesper. Auch das war sehr angenehm und super lecker. Die Speisekarte verspricht noch viel Gutes.Wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gern ganz bald wieder.

Familiäre, urige Gaststätte. Der teil-überdachte Biergarten ist liebevoll gestaltet. Obwohl einiges los war, wurden wir trotzdem freundlich und schnell bedient. Das Essen war sehr schnell fertig, es handelte sich um leckere Hausmannskost wie bei Oma. Alles war sauber und einladend. Biergarten kinder- und hundefreundlich.

Sehr gutes Essen zu super Preisen. Wurden vom Chef gut beraten und fühlten uns aufgehoben und willkommen. Werden wieder dort Essen.

Hier stimmt alles. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Man hat das Gefühl frisch bekocht zu werden. Es schmeckt sehr gut und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
