Quaint pub, you rarely find something like that anymore. You were greeted as if you were one of the regular guests. You immediately felt comfortable and welcome. Food was delicious. We'll be back

We were in this quaint pub for the first time this evening. In short, the food was very tasty, there was a lot of choice of home cooking, the entire team was very friendly and always had a good word to say. Definitely coming back. Absolutely recommended.

Delicious food and super friendly staff

Unfortunately disappointing We recently went to this restaurant and unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. The menu consists mainly of German, meat-heavy home cooking, which offers few options for vegetarians. The service was quite unfriendly and seemed sloppy, which didn't exactly improve the mood. We also had to wait a very long time – both for the order and for the finished food. Overall, we lacked hospitality and efficiency. It's a shame, we expected much more.

Very long waiting times, even though there was little going on, arrogant, unfriendly service, one of eight dishes was forgotten, so that dinner together was not possible. Overall the opposite of professional service. The menu only consists of meat dishes, as a vegetarian you have bad options here. Addendum: December 4th - Table right next to the door, from 7 p.m.

Very, very nice service and super delicious food

To celebrate my birthday today we went to the rustic, cozy inn for lunch. I had already made a reservation a few weeks ago. And we were all super happy. Very friendly, fast and never intrusive waiter, completely acceptable waiting times for the food and most importantly: everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared and sufficient. Very clear recommendation, we will definitely come back, maybe too soon at the mulled wine hut. Big thanks to the whole team.

Went to Stein Essen on October 17th, 2024 but were disappointed. Prices have risen sharply A farmer's breakfast for €16.90 and then partially burnt and oversalted is amazing. Otherwise, a rustic inn and nice service is top.

Great - I'm pleasantly surprised! Landed at 'Stein' on a recommendation and straight away a feeling of pure well-being. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. The restaurant welcomes you from afar, the furnishings tell me: feel good and the friendly service sets the exclamation mark! For me that is Dresden hospitality. A new stop is scheduled. Top class!!!

I chose this restaurant because of the numerous positive Google Maps reviews. Since I was passing through, I called there and asked for a table in 30 minutes. The restaurant was completely booked, but the landlord still gave me a nice seat in the beer garden. Thank you for that. The beer and the food were excellent, the landlord is very friendly, I really felt very comfortable. A reservation is absolutely recommended. The restaurant has a small parking lot, but parking is also possible on the street.

Also highly recommended with family. Atmosphere cozy, maybe a bit too much decoration. But that's just my personal feeling. We would love to come back when we visit our grandparents. Thank you!

We were shocked! My partner and I (we called and made a reservation in advance!) went there for Valentine's Day because we really like German food. When we arrived we were seated at a table for 5 where an older couple was sitting, we weren't informed about this beforehand and wouldn't have agreed to it! Despite everything, we sat down there, my partner and I squeezed together because the older lady spread herself very wide (half lying on the chair) and kept kicking me. We were still hoping that the two of them might leave soon, but they were still there with our starter and watched us..... They left shortly before our main course arrived. The main course was tasty but also quite expensive (and yes we know 19% VAT etc but still). Well, since we were pretty unhappy about how things went, we barely gave a tip, then we heard them exchanged right in the kitchen...an experience we will never forget!

Rustic restaurant with good service, lovingly prepared and tasty food

Unfortunately we were disappointed. This time it was completely different than on our first visit, the waitress reacted angrily to questions about whether a dish could be made a little smaller, there were misunderstandings when ordering the children's meal, it was not possible for our 3-year-old granddaughter to serve a tomato sauce with the pasta, instead A ketchup bottle was placed on the table. 2 out of 4 meals were served almost cold, the fries were too salty... No one dared to ask the waitress another question so as not to overwhelm them and no one was in the mood for a rude answer. It's a shame because we really like the atmosphere and the German cuisine!

Vorzügliches Essen, gut bürgerliche Küche, vor allem auch reichlich, Preis/Leistung daher top , sehr nette Bedienung ..alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Eine urige Gaststätte mit einem einzigartigen Flair. Das gesamte Personal bekommt von uns 5***** und die Bewertung 1A. Die Speisen waren vorzüglich, warm und einfach lecker. Auf Sächsisch "legger"! Wir kommen wieder! Ein Tisch sollte auf jeden Fall vorbestellt werden. Öffnungszeiten und Ruhetage sind auf der Homepage zu erkennen.

Hier findest du richtig gute deutsche und ungarische Hausmannskost. Sehr lecker zubereitet und einfach nur himmlisch zum Essen. Eine super Küche etwas außerhalb von der Dresdner Innenstadt. Preise kann man sich auch überhaupt nicht beschweren drüber.

Wir hatten uns gezielt dieses ausgesucht und hatten uns gefreut dort unweit unseres Campingplatzes dort einzukehren. Wir hatten auf die Bedienung gewartet cum freundlich zu fragen ob es denn einen Platz für zwei gäbe. Der Blick der Dame war sehr ... unerwartet. Augen auf und Kopf nach hinten, nach dem Motto "wie... Ne für euch nicht"... Die Antwort kam prompt. "Nee!!" Das war's. Drinnen war alles frei! Dies würde aber gar nicht erst angeboten... Nun wer nicht will der hat schon. Gut dass wir hier kein Geld gelassen haben. Also überlegt es euch dort einzukehren..

Auf der suche nach deutscher Hausmannskost sind wir hier gelandet. Zum Glück. Die Zubereitung war frisch und schnell und optisch und geschmacklich war auch alles top. Das Personal macht seinen Job gut und offensichtlich auch gern. Neben flotten Sprüchen gab es auch spielerchen mit unserem lütten. Merken wir uns für kommende Besuche und empfehlen wir gern weiter.

Auf unserer Heimreise waren wir auf der Suche nach einer Gaststätte um dort Mittag zu essen. Gelandet sind wir hier. Ich muss sagen der Zufall hat es gut mit uns gemeint. Ein kleines aber feines Restaurant. Netter und schneller Service. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und hat super geschmeckt. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, der Koch und Kellner sind sehr freundlich. Was überhaupt nicht geht ist die Kellnerin total unfreundlich schaut auf die Uhr und ja nicht zuviel machen total überfordert mit der Arbeit es ist offen bis 23 Uhr da kann man nicht schon 20 Uhr schauen und noch unfreundlichenr werden somit kommt keine Kundschaft mehr.

Wir waren Sonntag Mittag spontan zum Essen hier. Es war Super lecker!! Wir wurden freundlich bedient und die Auswahl auf der Karte war richtig gut. Egal ob Schnitzel, Gulasch, Sülze oder Leber, es war sehr gut im Geschmack und die Portionen waren reichlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.👍

Eine sehr schöne Gaststätte mit lecker Essen

Herzlicher Service und gutes Essen. Wir waren ganz spontan da und wurden sehr gut bewirtet.

Nur der Preis ist was ein wenig stört, sonst war alles bestens.

Auch ohne Reservierung war ein kleiner feiner Tisch für uns frei, Personal hatte uns herzlich begrüßt und gleich bewirtet. Das Essen kam nach ca. 25 min und war frisch, lecker und reichlich als Portion. Für 2 Hauptspeisen, ein Bier und eine Cola unter 40€ ... einfach klasse Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, für die momentane Situation. Das Ambiente ist eben typisch Altdeutsch und da auch ein Treffpunkt für Spieler ist ... sollte man mit einer gewissen Geräuschkulisse immer rechnen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder vorbei ... für einfach mal einen Kneipengang war es total in Ordnung.

Es war sehr schön hier. Einen Tisch und paar Stühle mehr waren kein Problem. So kam auch der Rest der Familie, der spontan dazu gestoßen war, mit an den Tisch. Fein!

Ein wirklich hübsches, liebevolles Restaurant mit Charme. Lecker essen, gute, ehrliche Hausmannskost. 80er Musik, sehr gut! Und eine sehr freundliche, fröhlich erfrischende Bedienung. Wirklich einen Besuch wert!

Wir sind nun schon öfters im Stein gewesen,einschliesslich Silvester. Immer gleichbleibend hervorragende Speisen,ein uriges Ambiente und tolles,freundliches und fleißiges Personal.Nicht einmal gab es irgend etwas zu bemängeln,man fühlt sich sehr wohl im Stein.Vielen lieben Dank auch an den Chef. Bis bald auch 2023 .
