Simply delicious! We were in Dresden for two days and ate there twice. Delicious, regional, great service. Just be careful: it's popular! We always managed to get a spontaneous seat outside. Otherwise, you should reserve early. The service was fast and good. Every dish...a poem 👍

Very nice restaurant in Dresden city centre. Very pleasant staff and wide range of food. It has really nice interior and apart from that you can also sit outside - great combination, as you are in city centre, but this terrace is sideways.

Rustic but appropriate atmosphere. Everything clean and tidy. The food was good, home-style, very tasty. It was a bit too much for us, so it's a decent portion. We got a table without making a reservation. It was very crowded and it took about 40 minutes until we had our food. But since we were told beforehand whether it was okay, that's okay too. We will definitely come back again. Service was very friendly.

I was really very positively surprised. Were there for the first time. Super nice and attentive service, good food and despite it being very busy everyone was in a good mood and everything went very quickly.

There was a female waitress, unfortunately I did not remember her name. Her service is terrible. She talked to us as if we had come to her house and we were not welcome guests. They asked to be served in English, as foreigners. Because of her German accent, it was almost impossible to understand her English, there is nothing wrong with that, but it is possible to get out of this situation by trying to find an approach to each other. But from the waitress there was excess, arrogance and indifference to customers. She ordered what she thought she understood and came up with herself. Because of this, they did not bring us what we ordered. They changed the waiter to another one who understands us and we understand him, and they finally brought us the correct order. But this is our first and last visit. Horror. We will never return there again! I want to forget that such an institution exists.

Kutscherschänke – a gem in the heart of Dresden! A great restaurant with original German cuisine and an atmosphere that takes you back in time. Food – firecracker! We were particularly delighted with the fresh, aromatic salad and the amazing vegetarian dish - full of flavor and refined. Nice service, atmospheric place, drinks - first class. Absolutely worth a visit!

Very tasty food! The service was very friendly but everything took a little longer.

It's a shame we were reprimanded because we were supposedly too loud. Laughing is probably forbidden... Our joy is gone. Screaming children are probably not a problem... We don't need any rules for socializing. Mood music in the background was probably just intended for the rustic ambience.

Perfect nice service, good food at a reasonable price, again at any time

We absolutely loved our visit! We would particularly like to highlight the very nice and attentive staff. A big compliment goes to the waiter with the tunnel in his ear who served us on the first evening - friendly, warm and with a great sense of good service. The food was consistently fantastic: generous portions, freshly prepared and excellently flavored. We were particularly impressed by the pretzel dumplings – fluffy, juicy and full of flavor. The honey roast with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes was also a real highlight: tender meat, perfectly seasoned and wonderfully coordinated components. The price-performance ratio is also really good – more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food. However, there is one small drawback: Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of sewage on the terrace at times, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. Nevertheless: An all-round successful visit – we will definitely be back!

The two of us were at the restaurant around 8 p.m. and wanted to have a table for two, unfortunately everything was already occupied or reservations were prioritized. So it's best to reserve a table inside beforehand. However, it wasn't a problem as it was pleasantly warm outside. First we ordered our drinks, which arrived quickly. We had to wait at least 30 minutes to eat. What do I think is pretty normal? It was delicious, unfortunately some of the vegetables were lukewarm when we received our order. Also bearable. Both service employees were nice and helpful. That was a great experience and is recommended. 👍

We had coffee and cake and in our opinion it was average at best. Freshly baked cake, like the one on the display in front of the front door, definitely tastes different. Regarding the ambience, anyone who likes pop music will probably feel comfortable. The service also takes a bit of time to take the order.

The food was very tasty, the provider was extremely cozy! We were given a table without a reservation until a reservation was due to arrive. The kitchen confirmed that it could be done well in terms of time. Unfortunately, we felt this time pressure very much from the young waitress. We absolutely understand that there was a lot to do. But then we “hurried down” our food. So my request would be: rather hand out a rejection or train the staff so that the guest shouldn't feel that.

This is a restaurant I came across by chance. I'm in Germany, but there are Italian and Spanish restaurants nearby, so I'm thinking about it. I came in and it seems to be a local restaurant. The lunch hall is full of people, the atmosphere is great, and the food and beer are excellent. Many Asian people looking at reviews come here I'm Korean✌️

Yes, absolutely recommended. I ate Honigkassler with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The Kassler was good. The sauerkraut was really tasty and the mashed potatoes made from real potatoes (it was chunky, just the way I like it) was a premium treat. I would like to put a 3 star plaque on their facade. The staff very friendly. The restaurant is recommended!

As soon as you entered this rustic, cozy restaurant, a wonderful lunch excursion began... After greeting us, Mr. Schubert hadn't even finished asking for a table before he recognized the situation and led us to a great table. Always at the table at the right time and extremely nice, polite and funny according to the situation... Really great person... We recommend the goulash and the venison brawn... Definitely we'll come back. Thank you very much 🤗

We spent three days in Dresden and ate at the Kutscherschänke every evening. My wife and I were delighted with the quality of the food and the service. Overall, our experience at the Kutscherschänke was nothing but positive and we can wholeheartedly recommend it.

After 30 minutes of waiting despite all the requests, the lady graciously took the order. They accept locals first. They ignore foreigners and pretend they don't see them. You have to ask to order and then you have to wait a long time. The tattoo lady took an order for 4 people and delivered it to two. We asked for extra plates. :( I do not recommend it

Outstanding. I can't say more. Endless crowds and nothing reserved. But the super nice, courteous staff got us a place for the two of us. Food is gigantic. Real home cooking. Had cabbage wraps and venison brawn, incredibly good. This was our third day in Dresden and by far the best meal. Any time. Price performance great 👍👍

We were guests here several times during our stay in Dresden. Either just for coffee, a quick goulash soup (highly recommended) or for dinner. We were always satisfied, the food was great, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was rustic. The duck from the tube was a highlight. All in all, a clear recommendation! Keep it up!

We were in Dresden for a short trip and this quaint restaurant caught our eye. The service was great and the food was equally great. The visit was always worth it and we would come back at any time. There is a suggestion for improvement regarding the burger. It would be the final touch if you buttered and toasted the bread beforehand for the ideal taste and so the bread would no longer break when eaten. All other ingredients are well chosen and very tasty, fries are very good. Keep it up :)

We were able to spend a wonderful, relaxing evening here. The food was very tasty and plentiful. There was a children's menu and special requests were no problem. The young gentleman who was responsible for our table served us in a very friendly, courteous and quick manner. We would definitely be happy to come back.

This place is a mess. I don't know how it has such high reviews. It stinks inside. My wife and I ordered schnitzel, which was hard as a rock, soaked in fat and tasteless. The side dishes were no better. For this kind of money, it's a total mess. Generally, the cuisine in Germany is not very tasty, but this went beyond any limits of decency. The service was also very unpleasant (except for the gentleman who spoke Polish). There are much better places in the area with theoretically lower reviews, and the food is 100% better.

Located in the middle of the old town between the Frauenkirche and the Elbe. Very good down-to-earth food, large portions, fair prices and friendly service. You should make a reservation. We went there on the recommendation of a friend from Dresden - it was very worth it.

Always nice, we come here every year when we are in Dresden.

We ate schnitzel on Sunday, tasty food, nice service (great waiter). We decided to go there again today. The restaurant was 3/4 empty, so we asked for a table for two. The waitress chose a seat for us either by the door or by the kitchen. Despite requests to be seated in a quiet room, she did not want to be seated and the place was almost empty. The blonde lady was rude and had a bad face. We left the premises and went to the competition. It's nice, cozy, tasty and we sit in a corner.

Great shop, everything was perfect, good food, rustic atmosphere AND super nice, competent staff. Especially the colleague with the ponytail. Thank you for the lovely 2 hours

A very cozy and rustic inn. The food tastes good and the service is great. A big compliment goes to Andre who served us that evening. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, he still made it possible for us to organize a table for 6 people. Anyone who visits Dresden should take a detour to the Kutscherschänke.
