Service - class! The atmosphere is no worse than anywhere else! The food is great! It may be simple, ordinary food, but it also needs to be prepared deliciously. We really liked it, especially the branded bread schnapps, it’s absolutely beyond praise!

A fantastic restaurant right on the Elbe. Beautiful and painstakingly detailed interior design, freshly tapped draft beer and food that couldn't be better. Our regular restaurant when we are in Dresden! Absolutely recommended and spread the word! :)

Actually just a quick emergency solution after a long day...of course not reserved because we found it too late...but we weren't disappointed. A place for two was quickly found and we were able to order. After a short wait the food arrived and it was great. The service was also super helpful and accommodating. You'll be happy to come back here!!

Still recommended even after years. The staff was friendly and nice, the order was quick, the coffee with milk and the egg pie were just right for a little hunger in between meals.

We had reserved a table outside. The service was very good, the food was expensive like everywhere else, but really tasty (unfortunately there wasn't much on the plate). We had the grilled salmon cubes with fried potatoes and a really delicious sauce. We were very satisfied and can recommend the Kutscherschänke. Staff very helpful.

Phew. Worst restaurant experience ever. Unpleasant service. When we arrived we were told there was no inside seating, only outside seating. When I went to the bathroom, the restaurant was half empty, only a couple of chairs had "reservations". The waiter was throwing plates and running as fast as he could so as not to get a request. The schnitzel was dry. I do not recommend at all :-(

Cozy, rustic restaurant, a bit like Willi Schwabe's junk room, lovingly put together furniture, everything antique and very cozy, with a hearty smoking room in the basement, delicious cakes and coffee from collector's cups, crocheted blankets on the tables, plenty of decoration, good home cooking to fill you up, fair prices , friendly staff, highly recommended.👍❤️

Food incredible. Service was by far the worst in Germany I’ve ever received but that’s only by the man in glasses when we entered the restaurant. He Gave us a horrible attitude when we requested a table and he replied impossible then we said we’d like to wait and he became very angry saying we can not wait and I insisted we will. 2 minutes later they had a table. Our female server was amazing. The food was incredible but the confrontation with the man in glasses “greeting” us will be a reason to not come back.

Cozy restaurant with mediocre food. The service was consistently friendly...but nothing works here without a reservation...out of four dishes ordered, only one was really good, the rest just tasted so-so...like canteen food that had been prepared forever in advance. 15 minutes after ordering, the food was on the table...everything seemed like it had been prepared for mass tourist processing...it's a shame, that could be better...!

We spent a long time looking for where to eat local culinary delights. We visited almost all the restaurants in the area. We stayed in this restaurant. The food is traditional. Everything is average. No taste. The guests stood above their souls - finish your food quickly, give up your seat. The waiters were tired in the evening and rolled their eyes when ordering additional drinks. Well, we ate and ate. Not this way, not that way. Although, my husband praised the potato soup.

Food was very good as always, nothing to complain about at all, which I and my girlfriend didn't like at all, where we would have liked to have gone, a really very nice young man served us, we felt very welcome because he was really very polite was, but a blonde woman in the restaurant emphasized very loudly what he should do and what he maybe didn't do 100% right, that's something so stupid that several people heard it and rolled their eyes, you can point out mistakes and do so in a one-on-one manner and in an appropriate tone, but the way she spoke, on an evening like today when there wasn't really much going on, in the middle of the store, we were really speechless and we knew I honestly don't know if we'll ever visit this good restaurant again with a staff that only complains behind the back about a probably newbie. We go there at least once a month, but this visit today is really terrible!

The food was soooo so delicious that I just can't describe it with the words. The atmosphere was so warm, cozy and lively. The staff were also so polite. I had a great experience in this restaurant and I recommend this place to everyone who is in dresden and to have super deliciuous meal. But in the weekends this place is always crowded so you need to reserve a table before you go, but in other times of the week there is no need to reservation.

Went into the restaurant relatively late in the evening to have a beer. The waitresses told us that it wasn't easy to walk through here. You would be assigned a table. However, there was no usher. Also no sign saying “You are being seated”. It couldn't be any more unfriendly.

Very cozy - and rustic - restaurant in the heart of Dresden. Guests can expect a very cozy and rustic atmosphere here, as well as a very friendly and attentive service team. The waiting time was quite short, even though the innkeepers had a full house. I ordered the Saxon black beer beef meat - extremely tasty and delicately seasoned, the portion was quite large. Price/performance is completely okay. Top recommendation!

Tiny portions for hefty prices! The food was average in terms of taste and quality. Unfortunately the meat was very mixed and tough, but that can happen. What's not okay, however, are the tiny portions, which are a disgrace given the prices. Unfortunately you won't get full. Afterwards we ate again at another restaurant. That's saying something!

Spontaneously reserved online one day in advance without any problem. Super nice team, seem very harmonious and balanced. Food arrived within minutes even though it was busy. Tastes great! I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The price-performance ratio is right here. Had two starters and two main courses each as well as 3 drinks for around €75. Highly recommended and happy to come again :)

Als Besucher in Dresden aus England haben wir ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis bei Ihnen gehabt - eine schoene, ruhige Stimmung, sehr gutes Essen und einen ausgezeichneten Weissburgunder! Und vor allem tolle Bedienung von der Kellnerin die vorne im Haus gearbeitet hat. Das ganze hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir auch am folgenden Abend hier gegessen haben, auch genau am gleichen gemuetlichen Tisch am Fenster, der zum Gluck unbesetzt war. Vielen Dank.

Ein gemütliches, uriges Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut. Schwarzbier Fleisch mit Rotkohl und Knödel. Deftig und richtig lecker. Sogar einen koffeinfreien Espresso nach dem Essen zu bekommen war kein Problem. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten eine Reservierung am Abend, mussten aber die Uhrzeit vorverlegen. Alles online gemacht, hat reibungslos geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
