Yes, absolutely recommended. I had the honey-smoked pork with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The pork was good. The sauerkraut was really tasty, and the mashed potatoes were made with real potatoes (it was chunky, just the way I like it). It was a premium treat. I'd gladly put a 3-star rating on their facade. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful lunch experience began as soon as we entered this quaint and cozy restaurant... Mr. Schubert hadn't even finished asking for a table after the welcome before he recognized the situation and showed us to a great one. Always at the table at the right time and extremely friendly, polite, and also humorous, appropriate to the occasion... A truly wonderful person... The goulash and the venison aspic are highly recommended... We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much 🤗

This is a restaurant I came across by chance. I am German, but there are Italian and Spanish restaurants nearby, so I was wondering. I came here, but it seems to be a local restaurant. The lunch hall is full of people, the atmosphere is good, and the food and beer are great. Many Asian people who are reading the reviews, come here. I am Korean✌️

We spent three days in Dresden and ate at the Kutscherschänke every evening. My wife and I were delighted with the quality of the food and the service. Overall, our experience at the Kutscherschänke was nothing but positive and we can wholeheartedly recommend it.

After 30 minutes of waiting, despite requests, the lady took the order with grace. They accept locals first. They ignore foreigners, pretending not to see. You have to ask for the order, and then you have to wait a very long time. The tattooed lady took the order for 4 people, and they brought it for two. We asked for extra plates. :( I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Outstanding. I can't say more than that. The crowds were endless and there were no reservations. But the incredibly friendly, attentive staff found us a table for the two of us. The food is fantastic. Authentic home cooking. We had cabbage rolls and venison aspic, which were incredibly good. This was our third day in Dresden and by far the best meal. We'd go back anytime. Great value for money 👍👍

A very, very nice, rustic restaurant. The service was super friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and truly fresh. I had the veal liver, and a friend had the large cabbage roll. A big compliment to the chef. He did a fantastic job.

We came in for the last hour after the opera. No problem, as we had reserved a table. Drinks and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The food was delicious. Just go in and enjoy the atmosphere.

We were guests here several times during our stay in Dresden. Either just for coffee, a quick goulash soup (highly recommended) or for dinner. We were always satisfied, the food was great, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was rustic. The duck from the tube was a highlight. All in all, a clear recommendation! Keep it up!

We were able to spend a wonderful, relaxing evening here. The food was very tasty and plentiful. There was a children's menu and special requests were no problem. The young gentleman who was responsible for our table served us in a very friendly, courteous and quick manner. We would definitely be happy to come back.

We were in Dresden for a short trip and this quaint restaurant caught our eye. The service was great and the food was equally great. The visit was always worth it and we would come back at any time. There is a suggestion for improvement regarding the burger. It would be the final touch if you buttered and toasted the bread beforehand for the ideal taste and so the bread would no longer break when eaten. All other ingredients are well chosen and very tasty, fries are very good. Keep it up :)

This place is a mess. I don't know how it has such high reviews. It stinks inside. My wife and I ordered schnitzel, which was hard as a rock, soaked in fat and tasteless. The side dishes were no better. For this kind of money, it's a total mess. Generally, the cuisine in Germany is not very tasty, but this went beyond any limits of decency. The service was also very unpleasant (except for the gentleman who spoke Polish). There are much better places in the area with theoretically lower reviews, and the food is 100% better.

Located in the middle of the old town between the Frauenkirche and the Elbe. Very good down-to-earth food, large portions, fair prices and friendly service. You should make a reservation. We went there on the recommendation of a friend from Dresden - it was very worth it.

We ate schnitzel on Sunday, tasty food, nice service (great waiter). We decided to go there again today. The restaurant was 3/4 empty, so we asked for a table for two. The waitress chose a seat for us either by the door or by the kitchen. Despite requests to be seated in a quiet room, she did not want to be seated and the place was almost empty. The blonde lady was rude and had a bad face. We left the premises and went to the competition. It's nice, cozy, tasty and we sit in a corner.

Great shop, everything was perfect, good food, rustic atmosphere AND super nice, competent staff. Especially the colleague with the ponytail. Thank you for the lovely 2 hours

A very cozy and rustic inn. The food tastes good and the service is great. A big compliment goes to Andre who served us that evening. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, he still made it possible for us to organize a table for 6 people. Anyone who visits Dresden should take a detour to the Kutscherschänke.

Brewery in the historic center of Dresden, near the historic Terrace. Typical restaurant with wooden furniture and external seating area. The staff wears distinctive clothing. Good choice of traditional dishes and salads, price around 25 euros for a lunch with beer

Unfortunately, we didn't make a reservation in advance, so we decided to sit outside. But there are pillows on the chairs, there are blankets, heaters are turned on above each table, the weather was also not very cold, so everything was ok, but we couldn’t appreciate the atmosphere) But our order was taken very quickly and it was brought to us very quickly. The portions are large, both dishes turned out to be very tasty - halfway through we even thought about ordering more, but when we finished eating we realized that this was more than enough. For the main dish you can choose a side dish of your choice. On a plate with schnitzel, French fries are in an unusual design and very tasty. Both dishes are not greasy, the chicken schnitzel melts in your mouth, just like the broccoli.

It was the worst store. A male clerk led me to my seat and I sat there, but a few minutes later a female clerk came and told me that I could not sit in that seat and that I should leave. Moreover, even when we tried to say that we had been guided by a male clerk, he said no! and refused to listen to us. After that, he kept saying no! and gestured to me to go home. Even though I was preparing to leave, I was rushed, and all I said was that the exit was over there. I think the store would be better without that employee, but the employee was so unfriendly that I don't want to go there again.

Actually just a quick emergency solution after a long day...of course not reserved because we found it too late...but we weren't disappointed. A place for two was quickly found and we were able to order. After a short wait the food arrived and it was great. The service was also super helpful and accommodating.
