Food was very tasty, service was very friendly and attentive. Parking is relatively difficult but everything else is wonderful. Food is perfectly fine considering the price.

After a short walk through the garden city of Hellerau, we passed the inn by chance. We had a delicious meal and were served very courteously. We'll definitely be back!

Went there spontaneously on Friday evening without a reservation. We were offered a small table in the entrance area. The menu was handed out and the drinks order was taken quickly. The waitresses were on their toes and even recommended a beer or two. Drinks were quickly at the table and the first beer recommendation was a hit, very tasty and drinkable. I always wanted to try spiced meat and ordered it in combination with steak au four. I really liked it and would order it that way again. The tables in our viewing area were all occupied at all times. In the back area, however, 10 tables were unoccupied or had a “Reserved” sign on them. At first I thought that maybe another company had made a reservation. Towards the end of our visit the tables were still unoccupied and I think it was simply an adjustment of capacity to suit the service staff, who are very hard-working and friendly.

Attentive service, great ambiance, and a unique view of the Elbe. Perhaps the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, and the food is average. If you just want to eat to satisfy your hunger, this might be okay. I'm wondering: How much fat are in fried potatoes? It's a bit too much here.

A big thank you to the team in the kitchen and our professional lady in service. We were your guests at the weekend with 11 people and were thrilled again!! Afterwards we went to the bowling alleys and there was always someone there. Many thanks from the Uepach family and Lempert from Vienna.

Tolles gemütliches Ambiente. Restaurant, Bar einfach immer wieder gut. Leckere Speiesen, viel Auswahl an Getränken.

5 stars are more than deserved here. Friendly staff, the food is always top-quality, perfectly and freshly prepared, and piping hot even upon delivery. Thank you very much, and we'll be back anytime.

Super tasty schnitzels with great service.

We were here for dinner on March 16, 2025 with seven people. The prices were really 😧 steep! But hey, I'm happy to pay a bit more for good service and quality. But that's not how it turned out, unfortunately. Some of us would have liked to have asparagus, but then we were told that it had been sold out since lunchtime. Can't you put that on the big board in front of the restaurant so that guests know straight away?! So I ordered a "pork knuckle, crispy grilled with barrel-fermented sauerkraut, grandma's potato dumplings and sauce"! After waiting for over an hour, I got my food. Crispy grilled??? No such thing. It was more like a sloppy pork knuckle that was partly raw on the inside. Ugh... Tasted like shit!!! Some of the other meals also went back halfway because they tasted simply awful. My recommendation: hire a proper chef who knows his craft and doesn't scare guests away so that the prices are justified!!!

Unfortunately, at the moment only drinks and a minimal range of food are possible. We really hope that the location will get better again soon. But a good calculator is always possible.

A spontaneous visit that was worth it! The boss is very approachable and friendly, the food is delicious and homemade, the price is completely reasonable and it is cozy too.
