As a family we were at Wilma Wunder in Dresden and absolutely thrilled. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish – just right for a relaxed family visit. The food came surprisingly quickly, was freshly prepared and tasted really great! Each of us found something delicious and the quality was absolutely convincing. We would particularly like to emphasize the service: friendly, attentive and with a pleasant portion of humor. Our special requests were fulfilled without any problems, which made the visit even more pleasant.

Friendly welcome, very nice service and good food in a fantastic atmosphere. This place is really worth a visit! We ended up here spontaneously and were greeted very friendly. Luckily for us, there were even a few tables left. Our service was extremely friendly, quick and very accommodating, the food was really good and the cocktails were delicious. The location itself is very attractively designed, so we felt completely comfortable.

Came in here, at 1:58 special for the breakfast wats untill 2:00 She came at 2:02 at my table, and said its not possible anymore, i asked if it still could because i special came here for this, and i was also sitting here before 2:00 but she said no in a very rude way. Nice service, cozy atmosphere, unfortunately overpriced food. I had the Avocadonest and unfortunately I can't recommend it. It only consisted of a sliced ​​warmed avocado and two poached eggs and was completely unseasoned. You have to like warm avocado too. Unfortunately the bread was a bit small and tasteless. The price of the dish was way too high. The large cup of cappuccino was also relatively small. Otherwise the ambience is quite nice.

When we made the reservation by phone, we announced ourselves as 4 adults and a baby and asked for some space. When we arrived we were offered a place in a beautiful niche. Perfect! The range of food and drinks is very large. The tight Wilma is a real culinary delight. My mouth is watering again. Big, hungry men probably don't always get full. But the average usually does. Except for the pancakes. The quantity is sufficient there too. But for the price you expect a little more. Although the calorie count is covered, it is still not enough as a main course.

The two of us were at Wilma Wunder's today. After three courses with wonderful dishes and drinks, optimal portion sizes and excellent service, we are completely satisfied. The selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes was also excellent. In addition, good attention is paid to sustainable and animal-friendly production. The cappuccino is cold, the service is polite but slow, the interior is stylish, but all of this is already vulgar and outdated. Perhaps there are better dishes on the menu, but we were unlucky.

I came in to Wilma Wunder with my wife and my little daughter and was greeted very warmly. The ambience is really great. I had salmon and yum and was overwhelmed. My black tea rounded the whole thing off really well. My wife and daughter also really enjoyed it. We'll be back! Thank you!

We were here today because we actually wanted to go for a drink at another restaurant but it wasn't open yet. Wilma Wunder, on the other hand, was open and there was a lot going on, which is why we came here. The menu was very small and somewhat experimental, which you definitely have to like. For us, however, that wasn't quite the case, which is why we only paid for one drink and moved on. It's more suited to this hipster type of person that we don't correspond to.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy going to WW when we visit Dresden! Whether it's brunch or lunch, it's always delicious here and the menu offers delicious food and drinks from classic to unusual. I recommend making a reservation at any time of day due to its popularity (e.g. via OpenTable). The atmosphere is very stylish and modern and the staff are always happy to accommodate every request and are friendly. We feel very comfortable here and look forward to every further visit! 🥰☀️

Despite the fact that we hadn't made a reservation, we got a wonderful seat by the window with a view of the Altmarkt thanks to a very friendly employee. The fancy breakfast was also super tasty. Unfortunately, my last visit was a big disappointment. Although the restaurant was almost empty, we were refused a table at the edge - on the grounds that the staff would otherwise have to walk too far. This kind of service is incomprehensible to me and does not seem very hospitable. Actually, Wilma Wunder in Dresden was always a reliable address for me with consistently good food quality, and I often and happily went here. But after this experience, I probably won't do that anymore. This is particularly disappointing because I have experienced much better service at other Wilma Wunder locations, such as in Düsseldorf. Something like this would definitely not have happened there! It's a real shame that the same standard does not seem to exist here.

The menu includes vegetarian, vegan and home-style dishes. The prices are reasonable, the decor is interesting. The toilets were clean enough. It would be desirable to expand the range of desserts to include more than just vegan dishes. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

So again, I returned here in January 2025. And now I can confidently say the place has better service and a good menu. The menu card itself is giving you a headache but that's just the marketing. The service staff where very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. We enjoyed our breakfast and the special atmosphere and ambiance in the morning. So, I returned here in November 2023. It's absolutely too full, packed and the seats staring at the wall are actually not nice when it's your birthday. Service is slow, kitchen SLOWER, and the food becomes SMALLER. My eggs Benedict had to squish themselves on tiny slices of half a bread, minimal Zigzag Hollandaise, and caged (I assume because of the size) eggs. Mind you, the eggs were still a bit raw, not really poached. I was so hungry, I still ate them! It's certainly stylish, but too crowded, not a great atmosphere, it's depressing, as I would say in German. Thank you, but not returning. Breakfast for 4 adults and 2 small children. The food is of course very tasty and fresh, the portions are a bit small. Eggs Benedict, for example, could be a little bigger, and unfortunately you can't really drink the new chai latte (pieces don't come off, it has a strange, sharp taste). The remaining plus points are, of course, good attentive service, sustainable ingredients, a good selection of dishes and food that tastes good. We'd love to come back.

Our visit to the Wilma Wunder was more comparable to a bad system restaurant. We were greeted right at the door with the words “just choose a table”. No hello, no good morning, no 'can I be of help?' NOTHING. At the table, the unfriendly service continued into the second round with a young man who couldn't say "hello" or "thank you". The glasses used are probably from the opening. At least I had to point out the crack in my already cloudy glass twice before a new glass was brought to me with an annoyed snort. The food was partly burnt and partly raw. But since no waiter bothered to ask if everything was okay and we didn't want to endure any more annoyed reactions on our anniversary, we just ate the parts that were edible. There was also no question as to why more than half of each plate was returned. When we were clearing up we told the waiter that we would like to pay. 30 minutes later it was finally time. After 2 more reminders that we exist and want to pay, they just casually threw a number at us and we were finally able to escape to a nicer place. Conclusion: If you like unfriendly staff, you've come to the right place.

Terrible experience with this business. The first ones will ask you if you're going to be sure or just drink, if just drink, they'll tell you they're full (an indicator of an extremely unprofessional establishment). I ordered - Wilma's Sauerbraten - €23. Total disaster, ultra thin sliced ​​meat completely tasteless, dry as a sole. Even mixing with "raisin sauce" that was not reduced at all did not help. The dumpling had been standing somewhere for a long time and was completely dry and cold. And the worst cabbage, where I seriously suspect they took the cabbage straight out of the bag and didn't cook it at all! Totally tasteless! And hard as if someone had just cut it! Big disaster! After the first taste, I immediately returned the food. I was not offered an exchange for a better meal or another meal by the waitress. After 2 minutes, the waitress came back saying that I would still pay for the food. I said that I would definitely not pay for the food when I immediately returned the food. She said she would call the manager (an unpleasant tall dark haired gentleman around 45 who seated us at the table). He came and told me that this is how the food should taste, that it is typical German. I guess the gentleman thought I had fallen from Mars and tried such a scam. I clearly told him that I will definitely not pay for the food! He said: yes, you won't pay him!? Ok - as if he wanted to threaten the police. In the end, of course, they didn't charge for the food because they saw that I wouldn't pay for it anyway. Advice for customers: never pay for something that is poorly prepared and return it, don't get robbed! And a message for the company and especially for Mr., if you want to look like a restaurant at the level, then behave accordingly and, above all, cook, not so amateurishly. Extremely unprofessional approach!!!

The food and the place are good!! Unfortunately the service is very bad. The waiters and the host are not friendly. They don't help you. We asked some questions and they didn't respond kindly. The table was too small for the food and we asked for the menu to be removed to have more space and the waiter didn't do it. We finished eating and no one bothered to remove the dirty dishes. There were many details that show that they don't have or care about providing good customer service.
