I've been there twice. The first time, my drink took over an hour to arrive, and unfortunately, it was the wrong one. The second time, the server made unpleasant comments and it took about three minutes. The location is beautiful. That's all I can say about it.

Dear team, thank you for the exceptional dining experience. Our spontaneous visit, including the wait for a window seat, was absolutely worth it. Lina gave us the next available table and provided impeccable service – friendly yet unobtrusive. Our meal was perfect! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Dresden!

A spontaneous visit to Dresden. Despite the large number of guests, we were able to get a table without any problems and were very satisfied with the service. A big thank you also goes to our waitress Ina; despite the crowds, she was incredibly friendly and always had kind words for everyone. She even gave us some recommendations for things to see. A huge compliment to the kitchen – the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back and will eat at your restaurant again.

The drinks selection was equally impressive: creative, high-quality, and perfectly balanced – simply superb. The service deserves special praise. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and exceptionally well taken care of, which is incredibly important, especially on an evening with business associates. The stylish and cozy ambiance perfectly complemented the evening and made Wilma Wunder an ideal venue for special occasions as well as relaxed evenings with friends. In short: A truly successful evening with outstanding food, excellent drinks, and first-class service. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend Wilma Wunder in Dresden!

Opening hours are until 11:00 PM, but on a Friday you can't get a drink after 10:15 PM. That's a shame.

A lovely place for breakfast. The breakfast selection is exclusive and stands out. All the dishes are fresh and delicious; I can truly recommend everything here. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price. The atmosphere is relaxed and very cozy thanks to the many nooks and crannies. A great place to start the day.

A really lovely place in a perfect location. We were there for brunch on Sunday, and the food was consistently excellent. The only exception was the "Berry Dream" pancakes, which were a bit too sweet due to the excessive maple syrup. The rest of the food was incredibly delicious. The staff was also extremely friendly, although we did have to wait a little while because the place was so busy. All in all, highly recommended!

On our trip to the Striezelmarkt in Dresden, we came across Wilma Wunder. We were shown to a table immediately, even though it was so crowded, and the service was incredibly friendly and quick. The food was very good; we had tarte flambée and a glass of white wine. Lina, the young waitress, was especially lovely; her friendly manner really stood out to us. She was very attentive and efficient. Many thanks, we felt incredibly welcome.

The place was very busy with the Christmas markets, but I was seated quickly. There was a menu with seasonal specialties and I chose from it. The food was good and comforting in the cold. I would absolutely return if I'm in Dresden again.

Hello dear team, On December 11th, after a quick look online, we remembered that we absolutely had to visit Wilma's Wunder before our departure back to the coast. So, a quick call at 6:45 pm. We were told that everything was booked. We could try our luck, though. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Ten minutes later, we (three people) were standing at the door. We received a very friendly welcome, and they immediately recognized my voice (direct quote: "You just called!"). The incredibly friendly person simply said, "I've prepared something for you," and the miracle began. A fantastic table by the window. As soon as we arrived, the equally lovely Ina approached the table and greeted us warmly, and less than five minutes later, we already had our drinks. The menu was very interesting, and it took us a while to decide. We opted for Wilma's Sauerbraten, Schinkenspätzle (ham spaetzle), and original Wiener Schnitzel. Everything was perfect. We tried the Sauerbraten three times in Dresden, and this was the best. The Wiener Schnitzel (we were just in Vienna) was at least as good as the original. For the grand finale, we had the pancake with vanilla oat ice cream and the homemade eggnog. You absolutely must try both—they're divine! We even had a bottle of the eggnog filled for us (yes, you can!). Dear Ina (we had a chuckle, since my wife is also named Ina), we want to thank you, your team, and the kitchen staff most sincerely for this wonderful evening. Unfortunately, we can only give five stars; you are so much better than that! When we're in Dresden again, you'll be at the top of our list. First off: We ordered food for delivery through Wolt. The "yogurt" for €8 was outrageous—soup-like consistency—a real shame. The truffle fries were also disappointing. The schnitzel, however, was good. I don't know if people should just avoid ordering from them altogether, or what the problem was with my order. I certainly won't be ordering from them again.

I ordered from Wilma Wunder and unfortunately the food arrived cold because the box wasn't properly sealed. However, I didn't want to eat the already dark brown salad, and on the so-called truffle fries, for which I paid a considerable extra, I couldn't find any truffle mayo, cheese, or anything else. On top of the fries was a schnitzel, which unfortunately lost all its breading. So I won't be ordering from here again until they change how they transport the food. The schnitzel itself wasn't bad, but the side salad and the fries were awful.

Very good location, delicious food, friendly and efficient service. A bit crowded on weekends and before the holidays, there's a fair nearby. I recommend booking in advance.

Very pleasant atmosphere, super friendly service, food was impeccable (sauerbraten, schnitzel). The restaurant was full, but that wasn't a problem for the service or the kitchen. We had made a reservation beforehand. The only downside for me personally was the 32 steps to the restroom.

The service is friendly, but the food is truly awful. Why they only offer Coke Zero in a 0.2l size for €3.50 and regular Coke in a 0.4l size for €4.50 is beyond me. Classic franchise practice.

The cheese fondue was a complete disappointment. It was a frothy mess that didn't form strings and didn't taste like real melted cheese. Some kind of ready-made product that has nothing to do with cheese fondue – sorry.

As expected of a popular online restaurant, the signature steak with strawberry sauce was delicious, the German dumplings were of excellent quality, the risotto was fragrant, and the pumpkin soup was also unique.

The restaurant is located right on the Striezelmarkt (shopping market) and offers a fantastic view from the upstairs dining area! The staff is young, dynamic, and always has a witty remark ready! The food is excellent!

Food: We both ordered the vegan schnitzel with potato salad. It was a very good vegan schnitzel, nicely crispy and flavorful. The potato salad was very bland and a bit salty. It basically consisted of just potatoes and broth, garnished with a little dill and parsley. Unfortunately, it didn't taste homemade. It came with a small green side salad, a tomato, and a lemon wedge. The portion was sufficient for a light to medium appetite. The homemade lemonade was a matter of taste—but very sweet. Service: Friendly and fast (almost too fast), although we weren't there during peak hours. Atmosphere: It was noisy, even though it was quite empty. It's understandable that people were talking. However, the background music meant you had to speak up a bit. The decor was stylish. This restaurant is definitely recommendable. The prices are reasonable for the location.

If you want to be considered a good restaurant (especially in the city center), which you are, it's simply unacceptable that the glasses have been smelling and looking dirty for weeks/months. We've mentioned it, and nothing has been done... We come often, but it bothers us so much that we've stopped ordering drinks altogether. The service at the entrance also needs improvement; they could do a better job of welcoming guests. Best regards.

A full breakfast costs around €20, which is okay for a restaurant in the city center. The staff is very attentive and competent. All in all, it's worth a visit.

A huge disappointment. The café itself is really cute. The service is very good. The food, however, is very disappointing: simply tasteless, like Benedict with packet hollandaise sauce. Really bad. On top of that, there was dry bread (you don't necessarily expect fresh bread on a Sunday, but no one offered a tip: bake or toast it) and all this at prices that are in no way commensurate with the quality. What a shame!

The food was okay this time, the cake nothing special, the pumpkin latte was uninspired and over-seasoned. Lina, the server, was super friendly and motivated. The "starter breakfast" is definitely better than the cake and other items.

This was my first time dining at Wilma Wunder. Aside from the portion size and the fact that I wasn't completely full despite the high price, and having to order a small snack afterward, I was very satisfied with everything else. The service was excellent; the staff were quick and friendly. The food tasted good, but there really wasn't enough. Four of us were still hungry after eating the same meal. It's a shame; I would have gladly given it full marks.

A delicious, classic breakfast, very fresh and tasty. We especially appreciated that the small salad on the plate came with dressing. It would have been even better if the bread had been warm and toasted instead of chilled, and if there had been a few more trendy items on the breakfast menu, like a smoothie bowl with pistachio butter or French toast with an unusual topping. But all in all, a very good breakfast.

We were there for dinner as a couple and were very well looked after by Lina. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine selection was excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly. We used to enjoy going there often because the food is really good. But the last three times, the waitresses were incredibly unfriendly and seemed constantly annoyed. It started right from the greeting, so we reconsidered whether we really wanted to stay. We won't be going there again!

German restaurant in the heart of Dresden. Definitely a great find. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The beer was fantastic, and the waiter's effort to speak to us in Spanish was much appreciated. Definitely a place to return to.

We went to Wilma Wunder on Friday evening and were so glad we had made a reservation. With such a fantastic selection, choosing what to eat wasn't easy – we were very happy with both our main course and dessert. The waitresses were incredibly friendly (Lina was our server) and offered us suitable drinks and alternatives without making us feel pressured to order them. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back. ☺️

I only had soup, so I can't say too much about the food. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. It's probably advisable to make a reservation on weekends!

We stopped by for a nightcap and were very warmly greeted by the lady with short brown curls, who also gave us excellent advice. We'd gladly come back again.

We had a wonderful dinner at Wilma Wunder. The ambiance is very elegant and stylish, we had a really nice waitress and got a good table, although we had booked online. The prices aren't the cheapest, but for this ambiance and the quality of the food, it's definitely worth it. Despite visiting on a Saturday evening, the staff was quick and friendly. I must admit, though, that the noise level from the other guests was a bit high that evening. It was a great visit, and I highly recommend it.

The yolks of the eggs Benedict were hard boiled, the sauce tasted like mustard, and the bread I was given for my egg sandwich was the heel (end piece). Not well prepared at all.
