Very friendly service, a rustic atmosphere, and delicious food. It was quite busy, so you should make a reservation during peak times. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time for everyone in our group, and it was quite loud. It was still well worth it, and I would recommend the restaurant.

We had a table in the basement. Unfortunately the room was far too full (the waitress said the room was actually only designed for half the people) and therefore far too loud and the air was pretty bad. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the food. The food tasted good and the portions were very large. Since I prefer it to be quieter so that you can have a good conversation, I wouldn't choose this restaurant again.

On Women's Day we were 5 women who were hungry. Steak au Four, pork schnitzel, kohlrabi schnitzel, mustard schnitzel and hunter's schnitzel. Little tip less fries seasoning. It was extremely busy. We stayed in the basement. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the food and the second drink.

A successful evening Yesterday the five of us went to the planned economy in Dresden and had a really nice evening. The ambience is cozy and the service was quick and correct. The highlight was definitely the steak au four – absolutely fantastic! By far the best I've eaten so far. But the other dishes were also very well received and everyone was completely satisfied. A great restaurant with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

A great restaurant that has old GDR classics on the menu. There's something for everyone! Even shortly after opening, it gets full quickly. I would recommend making a reservation (weekend). We were lucky with 4 people. It tasted great!

We came to the planned economy on a recommendation and were not disappointed. I had a steak au four for the first time and thought it was really brilliant. The taste and the side dishes are amazing. The menu says steak with fries, but the waitress asked if you wanted fried potatoes or fries, so I chose fried potatoes. The salad was definitely homemade, well dressed with small details (e.g. small beetroot pieces, fried (cold) zucchini) and a bit of cabbage (highlight!), very tasty. The fried potatoes were really plentiful and also tasted great. Onions with minimal bite, well seasoned. And with the steak au four, brilliant. Will definitely go here again and order the same thing again. Overall, very successful. Perhaps a small note (the restaurant was well filled and there was probably only one waitress) to clear the plates a little quicker. But it didn't bother us. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

Cozy and friendly with regional delicacies

Anyone who likes (N)Ostalgie will definitely feel at home. The service is perfect and special requests are fulfilled. The menu reads like a canteen in GDR times. The portions are huge. In my opinion it should be a little more neat. Glass lampshades are easy to clean. All in all it was ok.

Wonderfully nostalgic restaurant, the service was wonderful, the food was extremely tasty and more than plentiful. We got a place even without a reservation. We would be happy to stop by again on our next visit.

My wife and I were amazed by the authentic German cuisine - every dish was perfectly prepared and very tasteful. We were particularly impressed by the traditional menus. The ambience, on the other hand, could be a little more inviting, but was perhaps deliberately kept simple to underline the rustic charm. Overall: delicious food, we would love to come back!

Very friendly service staff, nice atmosphere, unfortunately our food didn't entirely convince us for the price (Jägerschnitzel with Spirelli for around 17 euros) but we would come back to try another dish.

We have never eaten so badly... the seasoned meat for our daughter was full of bones and tasted as if she had scraped together all the leftovers, which we also showed the waitress, but she didn't care, the steak au four according to the menu Pork loin steak, was just a thin pork schnitzel with some seasoned meat and a lot of cheese with totally greasy, inedible fries... all 3 portions were almost completely gone... that's why only 1 star for the food, service was very nice.

We went here for dinner with our family in the post-Christmas period and were very impressed by the quick service as well as the delicious food and various beers! The selection of dishes from days gone by is great! Recommended: fire meat, schnitzel, but actually everything from the menu! We'd love to come back!

Cute place, good and cozy atmosphere and would recommend for drinks, they have a large drinks menu. Friendly and prompt service. Food is in my opinion average to subpar. The portion is more than adequate. Perhaps it's just the eastern German kitchen is something I'm not used to. The Bauernfrühstück(farmers breakfast) is a large omelette with pickled beans and a salad. I did not find any part of it palatable. The vegetarian schnitzel with fries was ok tho.

Nice experience! The menu had multiple plates which sounded interesting and a bit unique compared to the usual german places. The service was really nice, they were very friendly and attentive. In the basement, the atmosphere was unique and a bit weird, for a table of 2 it felt a bit crowded, but we made a reservation only the day before. I totally recommend booking in advance, especially in busy seasons such as Christmas time. Generally it was a good dinner.

Hello, we had dinner in the planned economy today. Even without a reservation, we were given a table in the cozy courtyard. I have to say I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Everything was homemade, the seasoned meat was great! For the main course I had the fried potatoes with fried egg, leaf salad, very tasty, also the dressing from the salad. My husband had the fried fish with potato and cucumber salad and tartar sauce! A poem, the fish has perfect breading, the tartar sauce is a dream. Great service. Everything is right here. Small card with a nice foreword. We definitely recommend it! If we're on vacation in the area again, we'd love to come back for dinner. Many thanks to everyone in the team, you rounded off our day in Dresden perfectly.

We had dinner at 6, the food was 50 minutes late and the waitress was incredibly rude---yes i had nothing else to do but go in and comment on a random "restaurant-pub".

We followed our travel guide book and found a nice atmosphere with delicious beer at the bar. Just the thing for our first evening in Dresden. A relaxed conversation ensued with the counter staff. Since we are already too When we had dinner in the evening, we ordered the meatballs with potato salad out of pure curiosity and were very satisfied. Next time we will try the wines of the region. We had a good laugh. Planned economics never work.😂 On July 20, 2024 we were here in Dresden and celebrated a friend's bachelor party. Since a friend of the future groom had made a reservation here because we were a decent group, we went. Our stomachs almost hung in our knees. We arrived and the restaurant was closed. Nothing was called constantly. Luckily we found something else despite our large group. I can't say anything about the food, service and ambience, but you could have emailed us in advance that it's temporarily closed until August. Unfortunately I only give it 1 star.

My husband and I are thrilled with this store. The atmosphere is really great, the audience is well mixed. A real feel-good place. Now to the food: we started with the classic spiced meat, then we had boiled beef and, for me, cod fillet. Everything was super tasty. And even though we were told the food might take longer, everything was brought to the table fairly quickly.

Noisy restaurant with not much food. The steak was overgrown and tough as a chewing gum. I ordered a sauce with dumplings, but the waiter brought me a German "stew", which in the end might have been a better choice. But the waiter was very friendly and pleasant.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I've already been to 4-5* restaurants in New York, London, etc. where I only ate half as well!

Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of sewage in the restaurant the whole time, which made the consumption of the food much quicker and didn't allow us to have a comfortable get-together. Service and quality of food were good, prices were reasonable.

The food was really great for everyone involved. It didn't take very long from order to serving. Service was very friendly - unfortunately far too slow when it came to drinks. Other guests often seemed to feel forgotten at the back of the location and had to wait long and thirsty for new drinks (even when the rush was over). Since the pub is mainly about beer and not elaborate cocktails, this should be possible. As long as you have something to drink, you could even wait a few minutes longer for your food. Per tap in continuous operation!

Delicious and above all vegan food. The menu changes in a good tone so that we always have a new selection. The service is warm and quick. We will be back!

Were there twice during a stay in Dresden. Once just to have a drink. The service was always courteous and with a nice sense of humor. When I asked about a wine what the taste was like, they offered to try it. The next plus points. The second time we wanted to eat too. I took the schnitzel. What can I say: perfect with a class of quiche. Great idea, well implemented. The beer selection is both regional and wide-ranging. If I were to be in Dresden again: a must.

We 5 adults and 3 children were very positively surprised. We went there without any great expectations. Service very friendly and on the ball. Somehow authentic. Rustic atmosphere with GDR nostalgia, but without exaggeration. Food was really, really good. Most of the dishes are familiar, we thought. But regardless of whether it was a farmer's breakfast or a beef stew, the variants were particularly tasty. The house was well attended, thanks for the good time with you! Oh, the beer was also very tasty.

It was well worth the money to try out authentic German cuisine

Mandatory visit every time you go home. Fine, hearty cuisine with classic recipes, yet unique. Plus a very nice attentive service. Fine all around.

It could be nice there if only it weren't for the food. We have rarely eaten something so bad, expensive and left hungry: schnitzel with a strangely light breading, neutral in taste, no vegetables or side salad and/or sauce, my companion didn't like it either. The service tried hard, but that doesn't help anymore. After leaving the restaurant, we first had to get our child a pizza. Conclusion: Completely exorbitant prices for food, which is unreasonable, value for money is not right here at all. Even if the food had been good, the prices would be in the upper segment, but they are simply cheeky.

Terrible food with alien taste. I don't understand how you can make something like that and have it taste good to anyone. If you have taste buds, spare yourself this negative experience. MCD or any other is definitely a better choice. In addition, the price for the food is absolutely outrageous. You would usually eat really well for that. Combined with diluted drinks. The waitress was nice. The ambience is ok.

Liebevoll dekoriertes Restaurant im Hinterhaus. Das Essen war phantastisch! Die Servicekräfte waren aufmerksam, superfreundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Steht bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Dresden definitiv wieder auf dem Programm und wird fleißig empfohlen!

Restaurant okay Bedienung unprofessionell Speisekarte lässt zum wünschen übrig. Haben 2mal Bauernfrühstück und 1mal sojanka bestellt haben aber nur ein Essen bauernfrühstück und nur eine sojanka erhalten auf meine Anfrage meines 2. Bauernfrühstück sagte die Bedienung sie hat mich nicht verstanden kam mir da total verarscht vor. Daher die schlechte Bewertung.

Ein ganz besonderer Ort mit Ambiente. Einfach gemütlich ausgestattet mit vielen interessanten Interieurs aus Ost-Zeiten. Leckeres frisches Essen, Soljanka und Würzfleisch, Entenkeule, Rotkraut, Gulasch. Bodenständig gut. Reservierung hat Topp geklappt, Service zuvorkommend, freundlich, zügig. Trotz 100% Auslastung. Sehr empfehlenswert in der Dresdener Neustadt.

Einwandfreies, leckeres Essen! Charmantes Ambiente und sehr gute Getränkeauswahl-empfehlenswert!

Schönes Ambiente. Aber echt überteuert. Für über 19 € ein Standardschnitzel. Dazu gab es keine Soße, als ich nachfragte sagte mir die Servicekraft nur, dass ich keine bekomme, das würde der, der es parniert nicht wollen. Ich könnte höchstens Ketchup für eine Aufschlag von 1,50€ haben. Noch nie gehört das sowas extra kostet, für Ketchup. Also musste ich mein überteuertes Standartschnitzel mit furztrockenen Bratkartoffeln ohne Sauße essen. Wenn der Kunde Soße möchte, dann sollte er welche bekommen, daran hängt es ja jetzt wirklich nicht.

Das Ambiente und die Bedienung waren top, von dem Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat war ich aber Recht enttäuscht. Gefühlt war es ein (bzw. zwei) fertig Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse. Der Rest war aber gut.

Eigentlich ein schöner Ort für einen gemütlichen Abend. Aber für einen selbstgebackenen Geburtstagskuchen 22€ zu verlangen, um ihn essen zu dürfen, ist einfach absurd. Solche Geldschneiderei zerstört unnötig den Gesamteindruck und hinterlässt ein schales Gefühl. Das nächste Mal geht man dann vielleicht eher an einen verständnisvolleren Ort, der nicht die Stimmung eines schönen Abend trübt, um ein paar Prozent mehr Umsatz zu machen.

Als Gast der Planwirtschaft bekommt man leckere Speisen mittlerer Auswahl, eine große Auswahl an Getränken insbesondere Bier sowie einen freundlichen Service in einer urigen Atmosphäre. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Nur seinen Geburtstag sollte man dort nicht feiern. Für den Verzehr eines selbst mitgebrachten Geburtstagskuchens wurden pro(!) Gast 2,50 exra Gebühr verlangt, sodass dies den gesamten Tisch nochmal gut 25 Euro extra kostete. Niemand verlangt dass dies kostenlos sein muss. Aber Gästen, welche pro Kopf im Lokal an dem Abend mindestens 30 Euro ausgegeben haben, für etwas zur Verfügung gestelltes Geschirr so viel Geld abzuknöpfen ist einfach stillos und frech.

Wir haben spontan Plätze bekommen und können uns nur beim ganzen Personal bedanken. Wir haben nur die saisonale Karte probiert, da diese auch viele vegane und vegetarische Speisen geboten hat. Uns haben die kreativen Teller total angesprochen. Zusammen mit dem guten Bier schmeckte alles harmonisch und fantastisch. Für diese sichtbaren kulinarischen Bemühungen geben wir auch gerne mehr Geld aus, günstige Massenware findet man hier nicht. Bei einem erneuten Besuch in Dresden werden wir das nächste Mal reservieren, um nicht in die Verlegenheit zu kommen, doch keinen Platz mehr zu erhaschen.

Essen sehr lecker und super Limonaden (endlich hausgemachte Limonade ohne haufen Zucker!). Dazu Restaurant ruft immer zurück an was auch großes Lob verdient.

Wir waren Mitte September dort. Einfach spontan und haben es nicht bereut. Eine super Lokation. Unheimlich freundlich die Dame, die uns bedient hat und in diesem Zusammenhang, habe ich Ihr versprochen, eine Rezension zu schreiben. Hiermit möchte ich das Versprechen einlösen. Das Essen war klasse. Obwohl es im Garten ( total gemütlich) sehr voll war, haben wir nicht sehr lange auf unser Essen warten müssen. Es war einfach ein gelungener Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
