Not a culinary highlight, BUT always a good idea in a group of men with beer

We ate burgers and schnitzel. The portions were actually large. The schnitzel was completely fine. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the burgers. The bread is flatbread and the patty wasn't tasty at all: dry and too cooked. Overall, the food seemed cheap.

Ordered sweet potato fries twice as an additional side dish, not edible!!! A complete chunk...unfortunately I didn't see it straight away with the children and the children didn't dare say anything to the staff or me. When I was clearing up, I was told that I had the boss on the phone after I asked. Apparently that's the case with fries... I've never had such a bunch of fries sticking together!!! When we asked that it be canceled, they said they couldn't cancel anything...so we were allowed to pay these 2 bucks something. I still know that the guest is king!!! Maybe the boss should be changed...but the persona on site was very friendly! My food, schnitzel, was also very tasty. Maybe they would have just offered a dessert for the children or something, but trying to tell me that they have to be like that is a blast!

We were absolutely satisfied, the portions were simply great considering the price and it also tasted wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the schnitzel bet, but we packed it up and gave it away. The service was also great and very friendly, keep it up, it definitely won't be our last visit with you

Unfortunately, it wasn't until 35 minutes later that we were asked if we would like to eat something. The food itself was ok. All in all, not a highlight, hence 3 stars.

We've been there twice now. The food is fresh and the name does what it promises. Conclusion: Very tasty The dark-haired waitress was super accommodating and extremely friendly. So a big compliment to the service too.

I can highly recommend it, the schnitzels are a dream, especially the 600 gr. But the big citizens are also a feast for the eyes, an absolutely top experience.

Really really delicious food!! Anyone who complains has no idea!! So I was totally satisfied!! Portions absolutely mega, as befits an XXL restaurant!! Would love to come back with 17 people 😂😂😂👌🏻

Large portions and reasonable prices 👍 Despite the quantity, there is also a bit of quality: the meat is tender, the fries are crispy and deliciously seasoned and in general the food is not too dry. But two small things should be improved. 1. If you want to swap your side dish of fries for normal potatoes, the €4 surcharge is quite steep, especially if you forego the fries. There should be either no surcharge or only a small charge of max. 1€ 2. The coleslaw is very tasty, you can have more of it on your plate ;) it would also go well with the burger.

Are you very hungry and want a 3 liter beer? So come here! XXL is an understatement. I had half a huge TexasBurger here and a pint of dark great beer and it was amazing. There is a hotel above the restaurant, I recommend staying here, because you will stumble from here with a full stomach. Parking is difficult, the tram that runs right next to it is better. Great service and nice environment. I was here at 20:30 8/2024 and left after 1.5 hours before I ate it. To Dresden for a meal? PULL!

Beware! The full sized hamburger candy feed six people! The image posted is of a HALF burger. Everything in this joint is huge! I dare anyone to eat a 30 cm diameter burger. Insane.

Food was very tasty and the service was also very good

The food and price are more than good, even when drinks were empty, we asked for more. However, what was ordered didn't come. But that can happen, except that If the drink is added to the bill, that's not possible. You shouldn't trust blindly. Ambiance when it's full, there's a lot of noise.

A very nice restaurant. Tidy and clean. But above all, the food scores points across the board. People often think that the size of the portions compromises on quality, but that is not the case here. The prices are absolutely worth the food. I like it there. The friendly and caring service also makes the stay very pleasant. Highly recommended. It's best to just take a picture yourself, but I think the courts speak a clear, very positive language.

1.5 hours before the end you can't get anything to eat here. All the guests present would already be through and the kitchen would already be closed. On the front door, however, it says kitchen closes 1 hour before the restaurant closes... and it's only 8:30 p.m., opening hours until 10 p.m.

We were guests there and XXL really says it all. Nobody has to leave hungry here. Prices are reasonable and the service was also very good.

Friends of ours regularly go to MaxiMahl and have wanted us to come along for a long time and yesterday evening the time had come. Called at short notice. Table ordered. Very nice service😊 I ordered the 500 grams of spare ribs and just a small salad with it. It was super tasty, nice and tender and very soft. The meat literally fell off the bone and the BBQ sauce was great too. We'll definitely be back.😋

XXL RESTAURANT YES INDEED! This does not refer to the size of the restaurant but to what is on the plate. And that's a lot bigger. And if you have ordered more than you can eat, you will have it packed if you wish. So! If you like big numbers... No matter what you're thinking... Hey, this is the right place! Ambience can be improved inside with nice flower partitions. Sure, it can be a bit smaller and not quite as real as the mega schnitzel I had. Overall rating recommended 🌴🌴

Super nice staff! Was a bit skeptical because of the sizes of the dishes based on the motto quantity instead of quality. This is absolutely not the case! The schnitzel was super juicy and very, very well made. We loved it! The prices are more than justified for the sizes of the dishes! We will be back definitely!

As a family, we visit or order here quite regularly and we have never had anything to complain about. The salad on the burgers is always crunchy, the burgers are on point and the schnitzel and fries are extremely tasty. Every time we feel like picking flowers inside. Absolutely recommended, because despite the large portions the quality doesn't suffer one bit.

Yes, what can you say, it was the first time there. Portions were good. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for the food. Although you can probably assume that this was due to the large number of people. But unfortunately one thing I had didn't work at all. I had a cheeseburger Ordered size L without onions because I have an onion intolerance (confirmed in writing by the doctor). Unfortunately, a burger came with onions. And you might think, well, as a gesture of goodwill and the kitchen's mistake, they can somehow compensate for this on the bill, but no Full bill + free plus maybe go to the doctor tomorrow. People who have any allergies or intolerances should avoid this restaurant.

I was very happy with everything and would be happy to come back again at any time :) It is recommended. The ambience is rather rustic, but that didn't bother me at all. The food was very good, I tried the xxl hamburger and was completely full after almost 3/4 of it. I was able to take the rest with me without any problems. The service is great. Thumbs up from me and see you again soon :D

Mmmmaxximahl lives up to its name, the food is incredibly tasty, you can adjust the portions to suit your hunger and if you can't make it, it's packed up and you take it with you. No matter whether you visit yourself or have them delivered, we are always thrilled and the spare ribs are the best☺️ we would be happy to come back. And one more star for the lovely staff.

I can't say more than TOP. We really like going to this restaurant. The service is unbeatable and the little ones are very welcome. The food is HOT and delicious every time. No wishes remain unfulfilled. The cocktails are prepared just right, not too much alcohol but not too little either. The ice cubes in the drinks are counted exactly right so that it doesn't just taste like water at the end.

The service and ambience were good, but the waiting time... We had to wait 2 hours for our food (where there wasn't that much going on) and the food wasn't so perfect that you could say the 2 hour wait was worth it.

The MaxiMahl restaurant is located on the corner of Kesselsdorferstrasse, just outside the city center but still easy to reach. We were guests as a group on a Sunday evening. The ambience is rather simple and not inviting or cozy. It looks more like a canteen. The service was nice and the food was ok. So it wasn't bad, but it wasn't "Wow, here we come again" either. I had a Schnitzel Au Four in size L, which was good, no tendons or pieces of cartilage and the price was also perfectly fine. It's best to take a look at it yourself and form your own opinion. Thank you anyway. You have to know!

There are delicious meals in XXL format... any food you don't have can be taken with you.

We were there for the first time. We were wondering why it was empty. But well. The ambience seems more functional than cozy. Looks like a train station hall, a bit cold and uncomfortable. The service is top. Very obliging. The food was very tasty, I must say. One is schnitzel with horseradish, gratinated with cucumber, size XL 400g. I've never had it before and it was delicious. Everyone would have been comfortable if there had been more guests. The prices are very good for the portions. The dishes could still be improved.

No hot food was received 2.5 hours (Saturday, 8:15 p.m. arrived) before the end, that's how customer acquisition works. According to the waiter, the kitchen was turned off at 8:15 p.m. and cleaning began. I drove out here specifically

A small, cute restaurant, you have to make a reservation, otherwise there is little to no opportunity to eat there spontaneously, which is positive for the restaurant. The portions are great and there is also an option to take away😅 Would go again!

Ordered steak medium - it tasted great! Schnitzel super delicious! Fries were sensational and mayo was top notch! Price/performance great! Size of the food is great! Service very friendly and attentive! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Just wanted to go out for a xxl meal on Saturday evening. Table booked for 8 p.m.! 8:10 p.m. 3 people ordered and food came after asking several times. 9.40 p.m. and it was still warm. Steak and schnitzel cold is just not great somehow. My wife asked for ketchup and we haven't gotten it yet 🙃The staff told us off that they were understaffed, but they had time to sit at the table next door and chat for probably a good 5 minutes. There was water as compensation. Conclusion If you go out to eat there on Saturday evening, bring your time or call 2 hours in advance and order food so you don't have to wait so long. We have rarely been so disappointed. Other days things might go better here but today it was a total disaster. Sorry!

Something completely different. As the name suggests, the portions are definitely large, and the value for money is definitely right in that regard. The service is very nice and makes special requests possible.

Hello, I came across a review comparing me and my place of work, a gas station, to your restaurant. It's an outrageous cheek to claim that it's 'just' a tank. It particularly impresses with its facilities, service and staff, who are very accommodating. She offers incredibly delicious schnitzel rolls, which can easily keep up with her food in terms of taste and price/performance, if not even surpass it. I hope you reconsider, for example, the €60 schnitzel, which according to reviews does not correspond to the value. Many greetings from the curly head

The food was okay but nothing outstanding. Perhaps a special seasoning mixture for fries or a light herbal note in the breading of the schnitzel could help. The other guests brought more of a pub or clubhouse atmosphere to the restaurant with their loudness. Unfortunately, the service didn't come to our table very often and didn't ask if we would like something else to drink when the glasses were empty and ran past three times to go to the noisy table. Apparently you get more drinks the louder you are. The waiting time was reasonable for an XXL restaurant. In terms of price it was okay too. All in all, it wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't a complete success either. Therefore the visit was fine.

If you want to eat a lot and are less concerned with quality, this is the right place for you. There are huge burgers, huge schnitzel. But the meat in it is not the best quality. The service and ambience is fine. There is nothing to criticize there.

Hallo liebes Team, der Service und Ambiente waren klasse, da kann man nix sagen. Allerdings empfehle ich niemanden das 60 Euro Schnitzel. Da kannste zur Esso Tanke in Rudo gehn und fünf Schnitzelburger essen, um auf die gleiche Menge zukommen und hast noch paar Zwiebelstücke, Scheiben Salat und Gurken dabei bezahlst dafür maximal die Hälfte von dem, was man hier zahlte. Die Bedienung konnte allerdings mit dem Lockenkopf aus der Esso mithalten. Allerdings 60€ für ein 1,5kg Wienerschnitzel überteuert. Im Anhang beweise

Das letzte mal vor 12 Jahren hier gewesen. Damals war das Essen irgendwo zwischen ungenießbar und überlebenshilfe. Heute: komplett anders: das Essen war extremst lecker. Und bei den Preisen schmeckts nochmal besser. Auch weil man nicht lange darauf warten muss.

Für jeden etwas dabei. Rippchen und XXL Fingerfood Platte ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen war klasse, der Service sehr freundlich. Der Gastraum war allerdings sehr sehr kalt.

Das erste Mal hier… Getränke gingen Fix. 18:30 da gewesen. Es ist jetzt gleich 20 Uhr. Immer noch kein Essen.

Das Spitzenteam hat mir ganz operativ eine Ein-Liter Biermass zum mit nach Hausenehmen verkauft, die Schnitzel waren ne Wucht, die Pommes kommen auf belgisches Niveau und die Saucen waren total lecker! Merke: auch die Toiletten glänzen auf hohem Niveau! Alles in Allem: bis bald, XXL!

Wahnsinns-Portionen. Alles wirklich lecker. Wer seine persönliche "Man vs. Food Challenge" braucht, is(s)t hier richtig. Es dauert zwar etwas, bis die fleißigen und freundlichen Kellner servieren, aber zwischenzeitlich kann man sich mit Getränken in Übergröße bei Laune halten.

Sehr lecker, Portionen (wahlweise) extrem groß, dadurch qualitativ jedoch nicht in irgendeiner Form schlechter. Wir fanden es gut und freundlich. Es war wenig los und dadurch relativ schnell, sobald es aber etwas mehr wurde hat man auch gemerkt dass die Servicezeiten länger wurden. Wenn man sich darauf aber einstellt, finde ich das nicht schlimm bei den frisch zubereiteten Portionsgrößen! :)

War am 16.9 mit meinem Sohn da. Wir hatten Braumeister Schnitzel und Cheeseburger, beides sehr lecker und haben es nicht geschafft, aber immer wieder lecker.

Wer großen Hunger hat ist hier genauuuuu richtig. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Preis leistungs Verhältnis geht für mich völlig in Ordnung. Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen hatten wir nicht.

Erstmal etwas Kritik aber das ist an der Stelle meckern auf hohem Niveau. Leider war das Steak von meinem Kumpel sehr trocken gewesen. Dafür waren die restlichen Essen perfekt 👌 Großes Lob auch an den Service, sehr nettes Personal und auch nicht auf den Mund gefallen, sehr gute Stimmung im Lokal. Jetzt noch etwas zur 1,5 Kg Schnitzelwette. Hat das überhaupt schonmal jemand geschafft 😅 die Zeit ist einfach zu knapp.

Nettes Restaurant mit wirklich großen Portionen. Die Qualität leidet aber nicht durch die Menge. Alles schmeckt sehr gut. Auch Getränke gibt es in XXL. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder.

Immer wieder gerne. Es ist sehr selten geworden so freundlich bedient zu werden-immer mit einem Lächeln und sehr offen und nett. Geht hin und seht selbst... Ganz zu schweigen vom Essen. Günstig, sehr gut und mega lecker.

Jetzt nach gut 5 Jahren Mal wieder vor Ort gewesen - das Prinzip ist noch immer schräg und witzig anzuschauen. Riesige Portionen die für den normalen Hunger viel zu groß sind. 😁 Kann man schonmal machen, Preise sind für die Menge schon Ordnung, wer sich überschätzt kann sich die Reste einpacken lassen und mit nach Hause nehmen. Seit langem wieder Mal im Maximahl in Dresden zum Abendessen gewesen . Einfach wieder Mal absolute Spitzenklasse ! Freundliche und Aufmerksame Bedienungen . Die von uns gewählten Steak's , absolut gute Qualität, sehr zart gebraten . So wie man sich das vorstellt , dabei wie gewollt nur Mischgemüse und Krautsalat . Rings herum Gäste die einen zu Zehnt mit Spare Ribs . Auch lecker, das haben die Jungs nicht ganz geschafft 😊 und mussten sich was einpacken lassen .... Andere Gäste zu zweit , gerade so geschafft . Preis Leistung bestens, da kann man immer wieder hin gehen. Bei der riesigen Auswahl an Beilagen , Soßen und Gerichten , da ist für jeden was dabei . Bei 200 Gramm Putenschnitzel geht es los bis knapp an die 2000 Gramm , für den großen Hunger ist alles dabei , selbst vegetarische Speisenvarianten gibt es mit verschiedenen Gemüse... Also immer wieder gerne !

Hungrig sein und die Zeit genießen...

Wir haben gut gegessen und getrunken, mein Mann hatte ein XXL Schnitzel und war sehr zufrieden. Der XXL VegiBurger ist okay, sehr viel Brot und die SourCream nicht mein Fall. Service ist Super, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
