After several attempts, we finally managed to get into the restaurant. After calling ahead and making a reservation, we finally managed to get in. The location is beautiful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, right next to a riding arena with plenty of parking on site. The restaurant shines with home-style cooking at relatively reasonable prices. There are still restaurants where you can get food for under €20 without skimping on quality. Only the presentation of the dishes could be improved. A nice little side salad, etc., fills the plate and looks good. The service was quick and friendly, even though the restaurant was busy. We'll definitely be back.

We went there for dinner with our girls, mainly because a glimpse of the riding facility piqued our interest. We were lucky and briefly spotted a rider during dinner. Unfortunately, there wasn't much else to see. We plan to come back again, but at a more convenient time. It's rather quaint and reminiscent of a small local pub. Nevertheless, it's worth a return visit.

Whether in the two different rooms inside or on the terrace, it's always a feel-good oasis with delicious food with a good selection and selection. Every celebration here has been great, usually with a hearty bowling competition. Simply fantastic, thank you!

The beer garden is a lovely place to sit, but unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed and rather unfriendly. On the plus side, there were plenty of children's toys available. The food was a bit salty.

Today, five of us spontaneously stopped by Kapriole for lunch. We received a friendly welcome (even though we arrived a few minutes before opening). We sat down on the cozy sun terrace. Drinks were brought and served very quickly. The food selection is truly extensive – there's something for everyone! We had to wait a few minutes for our food – however, the menu clearly states this wait time, and the reason is perfectly plausible: Kapriole cooks fresh food. It's okay if it takes a little longer, right? Our food was absolutely wonderful! Super fresh, delicious, and really generously portioned! The value for money is absolutely fair! Super attentive service, but not intrusive! In conclusion: Kapriole is definitely worth a visit!

We had dinner on the terrace from 4 p.m. A friendly waitress quickly brought us the order just as we wanted it. Whether inside or outside, you can feel comfortable and sit comfortably anywhere. The dog is also taken care of. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Gladly again.

December 2024, Sunday evening If you like hearty, rich food, this is the place for you. Duck, steak au four, tongue, exactly how you would hope for the taste. In my opinion, the value for money is even exceeded because the portions are actually larger than the price on the menu suggests. Home cooking comes very close. The "decoration" of the food is deliberately kept very small, you concentrate on the essentials. And that tastes very good. :-) The service is quick and has a rude comment here and there.

Sports restaurant at the riding hall and the bowling alley in the basement. Located on the edge of Gompitz, a bus line nearby. The menu has a wide range and the prices are moderate. The bowling alleys can be reached via access via the riding hall. The toilet for the bowling alley is shared by men and women... and is also used by visitors to the riding hall. The bowling alleys work well and the restaurant staff also serve in this area.

It was really spontaneous. Wednesday on the answering machine when it was still closed and she called me back in the afternoon. The reservation went smoothly. Please bring sneakers and also cash. Two lanes are available for 11 euros per hour. And the food was delicious too, I couldn't complain. There was also a children's menu.

The Kapriole restaurant is highly recommended and always worth a visit. With a view of the gallop track, you can eat and drink well. We find the schnitzel dishes particularly delicious. Every Wednesday is schnitzel day! The restaurant is located in the Dresden Gompitz district and is surrounded by greenery. Free parking spaces are located directly in front of the restaurant. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Yesterday we celebrated our wedding with you. The food was really great. All 40 guests (!) were very enthusiastic about your food and the quick service. The ambience was also great... luckily the riding stable was used... so we had some entertainment there too. We also had space to dance. Thank you for a successful evening......

Restaurant with bowling alley. A nice entertainment for our celebration until dinner, although the bowling alleys are in need of repair. Food was very tasty. Price-performance ratio is also good here. Service could have been a little better. Ordering drinks was a bit difficult at the bowling alley. I would have liked the tables to be a little nicer for a celebration. (e.g. tablecloths, tables were just put together) Despite everything, I can recommend the restaurant.

Die Gans war sehr lecker, aber das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln meiner Frau leider sehr trocken.

Wir sind Samstag eigentlich hingefahren, weil wir mal die Pferde in der Reithalle sehen wollten beim Abendbrot, da dies als besonderes Highlight angepriesen wird. Aber kaum waren wir da, retten die letzten aus der Reithalle hinaus, das war 18:30 Uhr und dann ging das Licht aus... Schade aber nicht zu ändern. Wir haben Vorspeisen bestellt, zweimal Getränke und auch alkoholische Getränke, unser Sohn ist erst zehn und hat trotzdem ein Erwachsenen Gericht bestellt und weil wir lange warten mussten, habe ich mir die Freiheit herausgenommen, mein leeres Glas noch einmal mit meinen Tee aufzufüllen, den ich immer mitführe, wenn mir ein bisschen komisch auf dem Magen ist. Sofort kam die Bedienung an den Tisch und sagte, so etwas nicht erwünscht ist und mit säuerlichem Gesicht hat sie uns dann das Essen gebracht. Da wir jede Menge bestellt hatten und auch zweimal Getränke, fand ich das nicht sehr nett. Essen war gut, aber nichts Besonderes und etwas fade, und auch nicht besonders viel, aber okay. ... noch mal möchte ich da nicht hin, gleich so angeraunzt zu werden, zumal wir schon bestellt hatten und das nicht zu knapp... Etwas weiter unten und gibt es das Kedo.... und das Schnitzz , das schmeckt besser und ist Kunden freundlicher...

Am Samstagabend auf der Gompitzer Höhe wie schon so oft ein Genuss in angenehmer Umgebung, mit aufmerksamem und freundlichem Service und gutem Essen. Hier wird dass Schnitzel noch geklopft, die Pfifferlinge waren Klasse. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das lauwarme Essen ist verziehen, weil die Bedienung für die ganze Gaststätte alleine war. Satt geworden naja. Die Essenspreise sind aber sehr ok. Bitte behaltet das bei. Getränkepreise dafür vergleichsweise hoch.

Wir durften mit unserer Enkelin einen Supergeburtstag hier erleben. Speis- und Drank war top, kurzum, Daumen hoch. 👌

Einfache normale Gaststätte mit deutscher Hausmannskost auch gut geeignet mit Kindern weil man von der Gaststätte in eine Reithalle blickt. Ihr kann allerdings nur bar bezahlen

Die Kapriole besticht beim Essen durch das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und in der Woche durch den Schnitzeltag am Mittwoch. Der Außenbereich dürfte gern etwas gepflegter sein. Der Blick aus dem Innenbereich in die Reithalle ist natürlich ein Bonus. Man kann zudem die Kegelbahn buchen und diese direkt über die Gaststätte betreten. Fazit: Kann man mal machen!

Essen und Service super aber wenn man sein eigenes Wort nicht versteht, weil zu laut, dann ist der Besuch alles andere als angenehm.

Sehr gute, frische, saisonale Küche und eine sehr fleißige Chefkellnerin mit hervorragendem Überblick. Haben nach vielen Tests in der weiten Welt unseren persönlichen Hauptpreis für das beste Schnitzel mit Spargel gewonnen und ständig verteidigt.

Wir haben in der Kapriole meinen Geburtstag mit 15 Gästen gefeiert. Es war einfach toll!!! Fast alle haben etwas anderes gegessen und ALLLLE haben gelobt und geschwärmt vom tollen Essen!! Guter, aufmerksamer Service!! Und ALLE bekamen das Essen zur gleichen Zeit, sodas wir schön zusammen genießen konnten!! Selbst die 300g Rumpsteaks waren "auf den Punkt..." Preis/Leistung TOP!!

Besser als der erste Eindruck vermuten lässt. Freundliche Bedienung. In der anliegenden Reithalle kann man den Pferden zusehen und im Keller hat man eine Kegelbahn zum Zeitvertreib. Die Kids hatten Spaß.

Mehr ne Kneipe als ne Gaststätte. Essen ist Müll. Den Koch hört man seine Schnitzel bis zum letzten Tisch platt klopfen. Qualität nicht sonderlich hoch... Vielleicht sollte man hier einfach nur schön reiten und gut.

Anlass war eine Familienfeier. Es war alles sehr gut. Der Service, das Essen sehr schmackhaft und die Preise fair. Wir kommen wieder.

Super leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vielfältiges Angebot. Schnitzeltag mittwochs ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr nette und flotte Bedingung. Highlight: vom Esstisch dem Reittraining in der Halle zuschauen.

Es war trotz dickem Pullover recht kalt. Und nein, ich bin keine Frau. Das Essen ist für die Qualität zu teuer. Geschmacklich nicht sehr sensationell. Spinat aus dem Frost kann ich mir auch zuhause machen. Wie wäre es mit frischen, sessionalen Zutaten und ein paar kreativen Rezepten? Hier liegt der Verdacht auf Convinience Food sehr nahe. Oder man schaut sich die Preisgestaltung nochmal an. Es gibt kaum vegetarische Optionen.

Ich finde es immer wieder schön. Jedes Jahr kommen wir mit Familie und Freunden erst zum Essen und dann zum Kegeln in die Kapriole. Aus dem Restaurant kann man beobachten, wie Reitstunden genommen werden oder Sprungreiten trainiert wird. Das Essen ist gutbürgerlich lecker und auch Sonderwünsche werden selbst bei voller Auslaststets erfüllt. Die Preise sind ebenso human. Was soll ich noch sagen: Probiert es einfach aus.

Leider kann man in der Kapriole nicht mit Karte bezahlen, weshalb wir am Sonntag vor der Tür wieder kehrt machen mussten. Wir hatten vorher angerufen, ein Hinweis wäre hilfreich gewesen. Das Essen ist einfach, schmeckt aber gut. Das Besondere ist, dass man durch eine riesige Glasscheibe Einblick in die Reithalle hat.
