By “planned coincidence” we came across this wine house while on a tour. We actually wanted to go to the restaurant opposite. There, however, we had to eat at an unacceptable cat table. Luck was with us, because it's not easy to get a seat at the cozy Lösch wine distillery without a reservation. As guests, we can only say that everything is perfect here and you feel very welcome. A perfect service, fast, humorous, responsive to all wishes. The food, the wine, the wooden tables, good conversations with other guests - it was perfect and a really great evening. Unfortunately, these days you're almost surprised that something like this still exists. The price/performance ratio is perfect here.

The Geberts Weinstube impresses with a warm atmosphere and authentic charm. The wine selection is excellent, with many regional specialties that are perfectly matched to the food. The kitchen offers traditional dishes with a sophisticated twist, always fresh and lovingly prepared. The staff is attentive, friendly and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. Overall, the wine bar is a place where quality, enjoyment and comfort harmonize perfectly.

Great cafe, great service and the food was amazing!

We visit Mainz with our children two to three times a year and a visit to Glöckle is simply a must! The food is always very tasty (we have already tried some of the menu) and we have never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and never seems stressed (even when the restaurant is full) and the food is always perfect and fresh. Service + food is top! We can only recommend it and are already looking forward to our next visit!

There were two of us there. It wasn't busy so we couldn't complain about a lack of attention or service. The landlady was very nice. The restaurant is quaint and the food was excellent. Only the price was quite high. Nevertheless, we would go there again.

We had reservations for a Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. Our table was in the gallery (?). We quickly noticed that the lamp was hanging in an awkward position for one of the guests. In addition, the two seats for two were very impractically arranged. It seems as if the available space had to be used economically instead of giving up one of the two-person spaces. When we arrived there were still dirty dishes from the guest in front of us. In addition, there were two cards with clearly legible names on the site to identify our reservation and the following one. In the upper back area it was also difficult for the service staff to make themselves noticeable. However, our waitress was very nice and tried hard. We ordered the sauerbraten with red cabbage and potato dumplings and the pork schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and fries and salad. The salad came quite quickly, was a simple side salad and "nothing special" but fresh and tasty. The warm main courses also came after a reasonable waiting time. The schnitzel was a perfect size and fried just as well. The fries were crispy and delicious. The pepper cream sauce was delicious and almost a little too little. The sauerbraten, red cabbage and dumplings were top quality and well seasoned. For dessert we ordered the Kaiserschmarrn and the sweet tarte flambée. The Kaiserschmarrn came with applesauce, which I didn't need. Tastes very good. The sweet tarte flambée was also delicious, although surprisingly large (pizza size). Some kind of dip would have been nice here, for example some creme fraiche.

Ein wenig enttäuscht waren wir schon. Vor allem weil 3 von uns 4en gerne "Saumagen" gegessen hätten. Leider war der ausverkauft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sehr bestürzt, dass wir enttäuscht waren. Die dann gewählten Essen waren o.k., nicht mehr oder nicht weniger. Das Lokal war nahezu leer und daher nicht sehr gemütlich, was auch an der Einrichtung (sehr helle Möbel, sehr steril) lag. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passte im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen in Mainz auch nicht ganz (z.B. Kalbsleber mit etwas Kartoffelstamp für 20 €; ebenso 2 Scheiben Schweinefilet mit etwas Nudeln ebenfalls 20 €)
