The view, if you get a table outside, is fantastic. Classic German dishes are given a modern twist; I had napkin dumplings as a lasagna, accompanied by elderflower spritzer. Very creative.

Wir haben gestern Nachmittag zu zweit auf der Terrasse gesessen und beide einen Schlürftee getrunken. Leider waren wir beide sehr enttäuscht, da der Tee nach gar nichts geschmeckt hat und wir das Gefühl hatten, nur warmes Wasser zu trinken. Wir sind der Meinung, dass gerade bei dem Preis, der für einen solchen Tee verlangt wird, man mehr Wert auf der Qualität legen sollte.

On the first floor you have the feeling of being in a train station. The volume is unbearable. The tea (Slurp Tea) has no taste at all.

Was very well attended. Is nicely furnished. The staff is very friendly and very quick. Food was good and nicely prepared.

My only criticism: The toilets weren't ideal, no toilet paper, the floor was rather dirty.

We were very happy with the food and the service, despite the full terrace and occupied tables inside, there wasn't a long wait. There was also a small coloring book including pens for the kids and a good selection of food. Children up to 4 eat free.

Actually quite nice, but lots of kids screaming and running around. We were looking forward to a relaxed brunch... but then left as quickly as possible. Food is okay, but a bit overpriced

A colorfully mixed menu with delicious dishes. Everyone is sure to find something they like here. I like the diverse selection and especially the different vegetarian & vegan options. The food and drinks are a little more expensive, but they taste great, are freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The service is friendly, but seemed a bit unstructured. I think the atmosphere is really great. It is worked with great attention to detail and is super comfortable. However, you have to keep in mind that it gets a little louder as soon as the place is full. I would recommend making a reservation if you want to eat in a larger group or during “storm times”. I'll definitely be back!

Good restaurant with a great view of Mainz Cathedral. A dream, especially in summer when the weather is good. There are numerous vegan options. However, the price is quite reasonable. But it's also right in the center of Mainz.

We went quite spontaneously and got a table upstairs. The ordering generally went quite quickly, but when the drinks were brought the waitress was unsure which drink was on her tray. After tasting it was discovered that it was the wrong drink, the coffee flavor was clearly noticeable in the hot chocolate. Complaints about this were not dealt with professionally and the “blame” was rather placed on the customer. When the new drink was brought she said in a passive aggressive tone that she had tried the drink herself and that she didn't recognize the taste of coffee. Unfortunately, as a customer you don't feel like you're really being taken seriously! The food was generally quite tasty, but the portions were clearly too small for the price. All in all, not necessarily the best experience...

Brilliant, delicious and varied breakfast with a great view of the market square from the first floor. The prices are not the cheapest, but they are justified. The service is friendly and quick, and always has a smile on your face. The ambience invites you to stay longer :-) There were five of us and we were all very satisfied and full - and would love to come back 👍

It's been a while since my visit, but what I remember is, well... I had the sauerbraten and was unfortunately very disappointed. I found the portion to be very small and unfortunately the taste wasn't right either. The sauce was very weak and didn't have a strong taste at all and the meat had the feeling that it had hardly been pickled at all. My companion (who had raved a lot about the shop) was also a bit disappointed with her schnitzel in the end. But at least you have to praise the ambience, which is impressive not only because of the location.

Positiv: Nette und flotte Bedienung, trotz vollem Laden, Trüffelpommes Negativ: gefüllte Nudeln mit Lachs waren qualitativ nicht gut und hatten die gleiche geschmacklose Sosse wie der Serviettenknödel, der nicht schmeckte. Schnitzel war ultradünn.

Ich hatte mich für ein Gericht entschieden und dieses bei der Servicekraft bestellt. Kurz darauf (ca. 30 Sekunden) später bemerkte ich, das ich etwas falsches bestellt hatte und winkte die Servicekraft zurück um mich zu korrigieren. Sie sagte, das es nun leider nicht mehr möglich ist. Das kann ich grundsätzlich verstehen aber nicht nach 30 Sek. Ich musste dann das Kalbschnitzel essen welches ein TK Schnitzel war und super zäh. Ließ sich leider nicht gut schneiden

Schönes Lokal, trotz vollem Haus nicht zu laut, nettes und aufmerksames Personal, Käsefondue ausgezeichnet. Tische dafür etwas klein. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend. Danke dafür und gerne mal wieder.

Der Tisch neben dem Buffet der Servicekräfte war eher suboptimal. Durch die verständlicherweise ständige Nutzung durch das Personal (Besteck holen, Salz und Pfeffer holen u bringen, sowie anderes benötigte aus dem Schrank) wurde man immer wieder gestört. Viellricht sollte man einen Tisch sn der Wand entfernen, um etwas mehr Raum zu erhalten. Wir waren an einem Sonntag dort und der Geräuschpegel war sehr laut, was ein Gespräch in normaler Lautstärke teilweise schon erschwert hat. Essen war ganz ok und das Personal sehr freundlich. Werden wir wiederkommen? Sicher, jedoch lieber Wilma Wunder am Ballplatz 😉

If I/We are in Mainz it is simply a must. Very cozy. Beautiful ambience. Very friendly and courteous staff. Simply a place to feel good.

We went here for dinner on a Monday evening. Table booked spontaneously digitally without any problem. Service is very friendly and professional. Food is tasty and of good quality, prices are in the upper third, but okay. At first it was very loud in the restaurant. Toilets could be a little cleaner and in better condition. Definitely not a bad choice.

We spent 1 hour and 40 minutes in "Wilma's Miracle" yesterday and felt comfortable from start to finish. Very tasty food, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Gladly again!

A very popular location and it makes sense to reserve in advance. The staff is also super organized and can give approximate waiting times as to when tables will be available. The service is extremely friendly. After about 10 minutes we got a comfortable place. The menu is varied and Cesar's salad and the gluten-free pasta dish were very tasty. I can also highly recommend the favorite water!

Cocktailtomaten mit Grünzeug dran, Wiener Schnitzel ultradünn in der Friteuse gemacht, kein schöner Geschmack, Pommes latschig, Bei der Rindsroulade war die Menge an Rotkohl 3 x so hoch wie die Spätzle, das waren vielleicht 3 Esslöffel. Of course you also pay for the location on Cathedral Square. And the location is great. And the service was very friendly. In terms of food, I had Egg Benedict which was unfortunately completely drowned in Hollandaise sauce. Yes, they often put a lot of it on it, but I haven't tasted or seen any more of the egg or bread. Too much for me. I was able to eat the additional avocado cream cheese I ordered with my wife's bread.

This Wilma Wunder is centrally located in downtown Mainz. The food is ok, but if you go there regularly you will get through the manageable menu relatively quickly. The service team tries hard, but orders are sometimes forgotten or served very late. Service update: Unfortunately it got even worse!!! Orders are not heard, despite repeated repetition! Orders are forgotten even if orders have been taken. When paying - repeatedly asking what you actually want to pay. The toilet seats in the women's toilet are broken and not just lightly.

This was our second time here. Very attentive service and nice atmosphere. The food was great again.

Ordered there for the first time, two schnitzels with potato salad each. Potato salad was simply forgotten during delivery both times and after I ate the two schnitzels I suffered from stomach pain. Never again!

Very good location, nice, bright, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Large selection of cakes from Pfalzgraf. I would also recommend it, because the warm food is disappointing given the ambitious price.

The food and service were really good. We're happy to pay a little more for that. Wilma Wunder is also very beautifully and stylishly furnished. Unfortunately the acoustics are quite loud. Nevertheless, a visit there is always worth it if you would like to enjoy exceptional meals. However, be sure to reserve in advance.

I always enjoy coming here. The service is friendly and quick, no matter how busy it is, the food is delicious and I really like the ambience. Definitely one of my recommended locations in Mainz.

Center of Mainz, nice ambience and great service

On Sunday morning I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice at a corresponding price. A bright yellow, sweet industrial juice was served. The waitress admitted that it was freshly squeezed juice, but the freshly squeezed juices were always delivered on Saturdays -:) But it definitely wasn't freshly squeezed juice. At least he was taken back without any problems. Recently we were sitting outside when extreme smoke continued to blow into my face and onto my plate. Cigar smoke, on the other hand, would have been a real blessing. The waitress explained that a guest had complained about a bee and so they were burning something at his table. On the positive side, the waitresses are always very nice. The problems are not their fault...But you should be able to rely on a trouble-free stay. Therefore points deducted.

We have always been very satisfied here. Unfortunately, the quality seems to have deteriorated significantly. Only one star because the food is the most important thing to me and I paid a lot of money for a sturdy Max that had probably been under the heat lamp for so long that the egg yolk stuck to the roof of my mouth. The bread was so dry that I could hardly swallow it and the ham was already curling up from dryness. The coffee (extremely bitter) and the oat milk (more like water) were also good In my opinion both were of poor quality and I didn't like them at all. The service was super friendly and quick, the atmosphere was very cozy as always and a great view of the cathedral.

This is a cafe in front of the church. I could see the church from my seat, and although it was quite crowded, I was able to relax inside. I went there around 3 o'clock and asked for pancakes from the breakfast menu, and they made them for me. The whipped cream was delicious. There were also various types of cakes.

Meiner Meinung nach stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht. Das Essen war geschmacklich nicht schlecht, allerdings nur lauwarm und für die Qualität überteuert. Des weiteren waren die Toiletten in einem sehr schlechten Zustand, wobei man sah, dass es sich nicht nur um Schmutz des Tages gehandelt hat. Der Lärmpegel war extrem, unvorteilhaft ist auch das sich die Servicekräfte von oben nach unten die Reservierungen gegenseitig zuschreien.

A very busy but efficient restaurant in the market area of Mainz. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon but the staff seated people very promptly. The drinks were unique with fresh fruit water and elevated cocktails. The special pumpkin risotto with vegetable chips was creamy and full of pumpkin and walnuts. The ravioli was filled with smoked salmon and had a creamy sauce. The spinach soup was finished with a soft egg and accompanied with crispy bread. Beef goulash had a rich sauce with red cabbage and spatzele. The end of the meal was a wonderful apple streudel with vanilla bourbon sauce. Perfect meal in a beautiful city.

We had breakfast at the cathedral with American friends and our little dog. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a great, creative menu. Everyone enjoyed it very much and there was fresh water and a small bag of snacks for our licorice noses. This was super attentive and really makes the dog owner feel welcome. For the English-speaking guests there was a menu in English, so it was easy for them to make their choice. I would definitely like to mention the extremely friendly and cheerful service. You can almost find that in the catering industry these days. So, we'll definitely be back and can absolutely recommend the place!

Tolles Restaurant mit Blick auf den Dom und Domplatz. Sehr schöne ansprechende Einrichtung. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, die Auswahl groß. Für Vegetarier geeignet. Minus Punkt es war sehr laut im Local. Sowohl Musik wie auch die Geräusche Kulisse der Menschen und der Küche

A nice restaurant, we were here for breakfast on Sunday. Great ambience, best location at the cathedral, very friendly and attentive staff. Menu sounded great. It could have been really great. Only: the food.... The specialty seems to be eggs in all variations. However, the fried eggs had already spent so much time under the heat lamp that they were rubbery and almost impossible to bite into. So really badly done. Portions for the price and for a decent restaurant - breakfast much too small. There's no way to just order a few rolls to satisfy your worst hunger, they simply don't have any. Too bad.

We came to the Wilma Wunder because of previous good experiences. Unfortunately, the ambience and, above all, the price-performance ratio do not correspond to previous good experiences. You had to look for the Holandaise sauce on the Egg Benedict and Acocado with Porched Eggs. There were also two half slices of bread. Plus a cappuccino and a juice spritzer cost us €40. It really wasn't worth it. Portions have shrunk and prices have increased. In addition, the high volume, similar to a train station hall, does not make the stay a pleasant experience. There are far better alternatives in Mainz.

We have been here several times - unfortunately today we are absolutely disappointed with the price-performance ratio! My Egg Benedict consisted of a small slice of bread, two tiny blanched eggs and a few drizzles of hollandaise sauce…. 14€ for that?! It's bordering on a rip-off...
