Sehr schöne Lage in Mainz.Eigentlich auch lecker ,aber zum wiederholten Male hat mir die blonde Bedienung zu wenig Rückgeld rausgegeben.Daher hatte das alles einen Beigeschmack ….

Wir waren mit drei Personen im Außenbereich zu Gast. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist befriedigend. Ein Aperol Spritz für 8,50 Euro ist ‚stolz‘ und dafür war zu viel Eis und zu wenig Aperol im Glas. Die selbstgemachten Limonaden sind sehr lecker, für 6,60 Euro definitiv zu hochpreisig. Man zahlt in jedem Fall die Lage am Marktplatz mit. Das Personal ist freundlich. Es gibt kostenloses WiFi, Kartenzahlung möglich.

Sehr schöne Ambiente, toll gelegen mitten in der Stadt , man sitzt toll auch draußen. Der Service ist sehr nett, sehr schnell und gut. Das Essen war sehr wenig und hat leider nicht so toll geschmeckt. Ich finde das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht sehr gut

Katastrophaler Laden. Eingang zu ebenerdiger Terrasse für Rollstuhlfahrer verstellt. Wurden von Personal ignoriert. Erst ein hilfsbereiter Gast hat uns den Weg frei gemacht. Kaffee allenfalls Mittelklasse. Personal freundlich bemüht aber aufdringlich. Alle 3 Minuten wurden gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei mit dem offenkundig einzigen Ziel mehr Umsatz zu machen. Schade, dass so ein Laden einen der schönsten Plätze in Mainz besetzt. Wir werden dort definitiv nicht mehr auftauchen.

Leider waren wir dieses Mal eher enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Die Bedienung brachte das falsche Frühstück und war leider nicht sehr aufmerksam. Zudem hätten wir aus Anlass meines Geburtstages wenigstens eine Kerze oder eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit erwartet. Weshalb wird der Anlass überhaupt abgefragt, wenn er dann doch keine Berücksichtigung findet?

Wir hatten einen liebevoll dekorierten Geburtstagstisch und das Essen mussten auch garnicht lange auf das Essen warten. Es war sehr schön angerichtet und hat uns allen sehr geschmeckt. Die Kinder konnten die Spieleecke nutzen und wir noch ein wenig die gemeinsame Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Vormittag dort verbracht, Service sehr nett, schnell und aufmerksam, Essen waren wie immer sehr schön angerichtet und lecker.

Prima Frühstück, sehr, sehr nette, freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Aber: Ich hatte einen Tee bestellt, der in einer viiiiel zu kleinen Tasse serviert wurde. Die Menge im Teebeutel war für eine Kanne vorgesen. Leider schmeckte der Tee deshalb bitter. Ich machte einen Mitarbeiter darauf aufmerksam, der mir bestätigte, dass ich nicht die erste sei, die dies monierte und es längst bekannt sei. Seltsam, dass so etwas nicht umgehend behoben werden kann, zumal alles andere (bis auf den Geräuschpegel) positiv war.

Wir hatten einen tollen Platz mit Blick auf den schönen Dom! Dazu kam das Mega leckere und hübsch hergerichtete Frühstück und das sehr sehr liebe Personal! Einfach rundum eine tolle Erfahrung!

Durchschnittliche Qualität. Allenfalls durchschnittliche Portionen zu unangemessenen Preisen. Das Ambiente ist auch wenig begeisternd. Die Bewertung basiert hauptsächlich auf einem schlechten Preisleistungsverhältnis.

Man muss wissen, dass im Innenbereich eine sehr steile Treppe nach oben führt. Auch die Toiletten sind oben. Das Personal muss viel leisten. Ständig Treppen laufen- nicht zu unterschätzen. Die Preise sind heftig. 2 Pers. Frühstück "Durchstarter" a' 14,90 € , 2 Kaffee a' 4,20 €, 1kl. Wasser a' 2,90 € und eine hausgemachte Limo a' 6,90 €. Waren dann 47,20 €. Da macht man doch dann 50 €. Nicht schlecht Herr Specht. Für Frühstück. Das kann man nicht oft machen. Purer Luxus finde ich.

Lage ist sehr schön, aber dadurch dass es an einem öffentlichem Platz ist natürlich auch etwas lauter. Service war freundlich und recht schnell. Die Preis-Leistung war jedoch nicht so gut wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten. 4,90€ waren es glaube ich Aufpreis für ein bisschen Lachs auf Eggs Benedict. Dazu kam noch, dass der Eis-Kaffee meiner Freundin anstatt, so wie bestellt, mit Hafermilch, mit normaler Milch gebracht wurde. 60€ für zwei Personen ist viel zu viel für ein eigentlich normales Frühstück!

Wurde extra darauf aufmerksam gemacht, wenn das Wetter schlechter wird, besser drinnen zu buchen, mit der Option 1 Tag vorher nochmal anzurufen, wo ich sitzen möchte

Sehr guter Service. Wir waren Samstags um 11.30 Uhr frühstücken. Leider durch Junggesellinnen Abschied UND Geburtstagsfeier sehr laut und daher ungemütlich. Ansonsten alles gut!

Sehr schön eingerichtet und außergewöhnliche positive Menü Zusammenstellung. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Leider in der Stoßzeit mit Küchenlärm und Menschen die sich am Telefon laut unterhalten zu laut. Und die Toilette benötigt dringend eine Grundreinigung

Today I was here for the first time at the great café called Wilma Wunder Mainz. I treated myself to a delicious breakfast and I have to say it was very tasty and a freshly made orange juice makes the day even better. Very friendly staff and very nice cozy cafe. I will gladly come again:) I can only recommend it 😋👍🌷

Where do I begin? The Wilma Wunder has as much to do with a café as a McCafé... It is aimed at environmentally conscious left-green hipsters who will probably easily pay €20-30 for breakfast as long as the hummus is colored pink... Everything is completely overpriced and for under €12 there is pretty much nothing to eat that will fill you up. The chai latte was milk with sugar and cinnamon, the hot chocolate was milk with a few chocolate crumbs that you then had to mix yourself. If I want to order a César salad, I have to add the chicken for €5.90 and pay a whopping €18.80 instead of €12.90. Everything in this store is designed to maximize profits at the expense of the customer experience. At the top you sit like a chicken in a market hall. Service is underground. What masquerades as a trendy café turns out to be a system restaurant with far too many tables. It's so unbearably loud that I wish I had brought earplugs. They're just trying to exploit good people here. The argument is that the prices are exorbitant and unreasonable due to the alleged good origin of the goods. The food and the quality of the bread were not that of a Biokaiser or Tegut… This store is simply cheating on customers. I've been there twice now because I wanted to give the store another chance and I'll never come back.

Ambiance is great, service is very nice, food looks and tastes great.... BUT very little for the prices. Individual ingredients are simply not available enough. To find a goat cheese salad with just a 3cm piece of goat cheese, 3 pieces of walnuts, zero additional vegetables and only leaf lettuce is outrageous and ruins the whole visit.

Salmon pasta is really unacceptable, tastes like artificial flavoring, and the pasta is over cooked. We also had a lunch plate with a Frankfurt sausage, the sausage itself was good, the rest was some vinegary cheese and Philadelphia like cheese that was not worth it. Would not come back

Very nice indoor and outdoor seating. Large selection of food and drinks. Lactose-free and vegan dishes available. Vegan cake selection was only limited to one, but the taste was very good.

Ich hatte zum Frühstück einen Tisch reserviert. Hat alles gepasst. Leider mussten wir sehr lange auf unsere Getränke warten, es war aber auch sehr viel Betrieb.

Everything is delicious, unfortunately they can't do hot chocolate. The milk should be properly heated and not just lukewarm milk foam with chocolate drops. Cake was very good and the service was also good.

Prices are a little high because of the location and view, however it’s a really good place to enjoy food. Service is super here, nice staff very kind. Recommend visitors to try it out. We were there for breakfast on Saturday. The restaurant was very busy, so we sat outside, the blankets were fine. Coffee drinks for around €5 were okay, but the breakfast portions were far too small for the price. We thought a slice of white bread with two fried eggs and some salad (“eggs benedict”) for €14 was overpriced. The price was also too high for four small pancakes and some cream (the pancakes cost almost half as much. It is absolutely incomprehensible to increase the price like that). We weren't full there for a long time. And the avocado for €4 extra wouldn't have helped much either. The service was very friendly and it was tasty. But if you're really hungry and don't just want a croissant for breakfast or want to get poor, you'd rather go to the Extrablatt next door or to Alex, there's a whole buffet for €15.

A very loving, warm and cute restaurant on 2 floors. But the breakfast takes a lot of getting used to; if you're hoping for fresh bread rolls, you'll unfortunately be disappointed. The choice is very specific and you have to like it for breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, if you like sweets, you won't get your money's worth here, speaking of costs: Everything may be very tasty, but €3.50 for a croissant and €6.90 for three tablespoons of apple muesli (yes with üe)...respect ……a shame, I would actually come back more often, but the selection and prices make you think twice.

Best seating area is the 2nd floor outdoors. You get to take your drinks & your cakes & your schnitzel with the beautiful cathedral. I actually feel what a treat seating out there. Everything is delicious, our server is super busy but always remember to check on us. I love Wilma Wunder so much. You won't miss it. There's always a lot people out there and make you wonder what's going on over there. Highly recommend it.

Always my pleasure! Great food, varied non-alcoholic drinks. The cheese fondue in the winter is great and the breakfast is great all year round.

First place my coworkers and I tried when we came through for a few weeks! The service was perfect and we were able to walk in without any reservations! I ordered the TRUFFLED FRIES as an appetizer and the FREESTYLE WITH BITE salad as my main meal. The truffle fries and dipping sauce was cooked to perfection! And didn't last very long lol. The salad was lightning fresh which was exactly what I was looking for as I was trying to stay on a meal plan while I was here. How along the way? I dropped my parking ticket outside the restaurant searching everywhere I was going to give up but when I went back inside the house tonight. Waiters actually found it and kept it not knowing if there was somebody in the restaurant or not. That kind gesture saved me about 15 euros for a list parking ticket! Thank you!!!

It was our first visit to Wilma Wunder. It took around 20-30 minutes for our order to be taken. It took another 20-30 minutes for the food to finally arrive. At least the waitress was so friendly and apologized for it. For the price, my companion and I really expected something different. Just under 7 euros for a mini (!) piece of apple strudel really doesn't seem justified. Unfortunately, nothing special in terms of taste. Frozen goods with an instant vanilla sauce taste the same. The shop itself had a nice atmosphere, but with such prices, for small, not particularly tasty dishes and long waiting times, we left it with the one visit to Wilma Wunder.

There is interesting food. Unfortunately this time it was very (very) salty.

I always enjoy visiting Wilma. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The menu offers something different to eat and drink. I just think it's a shame that the cheese fondue is only available in the evenings, so unfortunately I'll never be able to enjoy it. Another table has already been booked for next week.

It's slacked off, staff overwhelmed, tables have rings and aren't being wiped down. The floor of the toilet is sticky and unclean. The restaurant was supposed to be even cleaner at 1 p.m. However, my request for a slice of pumpernickel instead of white bread was immediately granted.

Preis-Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis. Andere Erwartungshaltung in Bezug auf einen Geburtstagstisch ("besondere" Servietten bei den Preisen sind wohl eher ein Scherz)

I have visited this café in Mainz many times and have been very satisfied so far. The service is excellent - the staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. The dishes impress with their freshness and taste; it is obvious that they have been prepared with care. The location of the café directly on Cathedral Square contributes to a great atmosphere that rounds off the overall experience. Can definitely recommend it if you are traveling in Mainz.

The Wilma Wunder has a cozy atmosphere and is located right in the heart of Mainz. We feel very comfortable at the regular company meetings there!

Das Wilma Wunder am Mainzer Markt ist ein schöner Ort, aber leider passt sich der Lautstärkepegel auch eher dem Markt und Marktschreiern an: Es wird wirklich unerträglich laut, sobald es voller wird. Hier übertönt jeder jeden gerne, anstatt sich stilvoll zu unterhalten. Man versteht kaum noch sein eigens Wort und die entspannte Atmosphäre ist dahin. Ansonsten war wieder alles gut, ansprechende Auswahl, mehr Bio wäre erstrebenswert, vor allem bei den überaus ambitionierten Preisen dieser aufstrebenden Franchise-Kette. Die Preis-Leistung ist grenzwertig. Wir waren 3 Personen zum Frühstück und hatten wieder eine Rechnung von ca. 110€. Einfach mal als Denkanstoß: Da kann man auch in jedes bessere Hotel gehen und sich dafür am Frühstücksbuffet komplett satt essen. Bei der Reservierung konnte und habe ich übrigens extra angeben, dass es ein Geburtstag ist, stand dann auch auf dem Schildchen auf dem Tisch, es hat aber leider keinen interessiert, kein Wort darüber verloren, noch sonst was. Schade, solche kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bringen immer Plus Punkte und sind gut in Sachen Kundenbindung und Wertschätzung.

Wilma Wunder am Markt offers delicious breakfasts, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. We always enjoy coming here. My birthday party with the family was also a complete success. Starting with the reservation by telephone, the welcome in the evening with sparkling wine and a lovingly prepared table, followed by delicious food for every taste. Everything was just right and my guests were thrilled!

Very nice “store” in a top location with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, a coherent concept and very good quality offerings. At peak times, however, you have to expect a “moderate service frequency” depending on your seat.

I generally like this place anyway but the Fondue offer was so good! Loved how it was served with the bread, pickles, veges and grapes as an add-on from our end. Worth taking your time and not rushing through the evening.
