Wow ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On the Sunday we were there (ball court) breakfast was buffet style. A great, tasty, fresh huge selection. Service was also great. Not exactly cheap - just something special It is advisable to reserve. You then have 2 hours to enjoy

The two of us were there for brunch on a Sunday. If the table is reserved for 10:30 a.m., you still have until 12:00 p.m. to have brunch, after which you have to leave because the table will be reallocated. Either you come very early to make full use of the time or very late (from 12:30 p.m.). The times can be seen on the website. On the buffet you will find bread and rolls, Danish pastries, sweet spreads, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, pancakes, cakes and desserts. Also two warm lunch dishes and various salads. The selection is good and fresh. For €20.50 per person I missed at least still water on offer. Therefore only 3 stars for service overall, the on-site service is friendly and reliable. A large cappuccino costs almost €5, so overall it's a reasonably priced brunch. The atmosphere at Wilma Wunder is nice and not overcrowded thanks to the reservation slots.

We were spontaneously in Mainz and happened to stop by Wilma. We also got a place without a reservation. I can't say anything about the food, we only had coffee and Aperol Spritz and Riesling Spritz. Everything was pretty tasty and the staff was very friendly and on the ball. Gladly again and next time for brunch on Saturday.

The dishes and drinks we ordered were delicious, the service was friendly, but the large dining room seemed uncomfortable and it was very loud.

On a mild summer evening with delicious food and good wine, that is Mainz at its best! Very friendly service, moderate prices. All in all, highly recommended.

We were in a larger group (10 people) here for breakfast. We took advantage of the huge breakfast buffet and were very enthusiastic about the selection, the presentation of the food and the taste. Everything worked out 100%. A lot of effort is put into offering guests a great dining experience.

We were there at the weekend with a few girls to tie flower wreaths at a bachelorette party. At first we were worried that we might not be able to reserve a place because of this. The people there were really friendly both on the phone and on site and even set the table for us with streamers and chocolate hearts and later disposed of our waste from crafting. It was really nice and tasty, thank you for the great service and the really nice café :)

A very nice large coffee on 2 levels right next to Mainz Cathedral. The service is excellent and the breakfast was to die for. Had a latte machiato with vanilla syrup. Very tasty, especially the avocado cream cheese and homemade bread. Will definitely come here again for breakfast.

Tolles Ambiente, ruhige Lage (Ballplatz), sehr freundliche Bedienungen, einziger Kritikpunkt ist dass nicht mal ein Stückchen Butter zu Rührei und Brot serviert wird.

It was hot. We had completed a 2.5 hour city tour and were just thirsty. The drinks came quickly and cold. The homemade lemonades we ordered after the first 2 bottles of water were super good. Just a nice coincidence.

Die Reservierung lief einwandfrei. Weil ich Sorge hatte dass es mit dem Kinderwagen eng werden könnte, sprach ich 2 Tage zuvor mit dem Personal vor Ort. Uns wurde ein passender Tisch zugeteilt. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE! WHY? We visited here for dinner on 26th July 2024. We did not enjoy the food at all. However, the real problem was one particular member of staff who advised us she was in charge in the absence of a manager: A waitress (not our waitress) had recognised we had left most of our main course, so she kindly took the time to ask why and if something was wrong. We told her we hadnt enjoyed it, the fried egg was burnt and the chicken in caesar salad was very dry and not really the standard we expected. She apologised and said she would try to reduce the bill by asking the person in charge. When she returned to us, she apologised that she could not reduce the bill because we hadnt told our watress we were unhappy sooner! Our waitress actually hadnt asked us if we were happy with our main course during the meal, only when she came to take our plates away, so that didn't feel fair treatment to us. When we came to pay the bill to.our waitress we noticed another female member of staff (very slim, dark hair in pony tail and wore glasses) looking at us as we were telling our waitress why we were not satisfied with the food. She was rolling her eyes as she made eye contact with our waitress. We were then told she was the person in charge in absence of a manager! She confirmed she was responsible for not offering any reduction to the bill and proceeded to say she did not see the food, but did not take any responsibility for the fact that we had a very disappointing experience. We told her we would be making a complaint and asked for her name, which she refused to give to us. Even worse than that, she did not support our waitress, Vanessa. This left Vanessa feeling she was going to be blamed because her name was on our receipt!!!! We must be clear - Vanessa did nothing wrong, our complaint is directed at the person in charge who refused to give her name and clearly had no intention of treating the customer fairly or supporting her colleagues. She is the wrong type of person to represent Wilma's management - she is a coward, she's unprofessional and certainly not delivering Wilma's philosophy of "enjoyment & mindfulness towards our fellow human beings" This meal was not cheap, it cost 76.90 euros ...that is a lot of money for the poor standard of food and service we received. We are well travelled around the world and this is the worst we've ever experienced for someone being so arrogant and refusing to help and resolve matters to the customer's satisfaction. Finally, it is very disappointing that Wilma's website has no customer complaint policy or contact information for customer complaints.This left us with no alternative than to document this very bad experience on TripAdvisor and let everyone read about it and why we do not recommend people to visit this place.

Superleckeres und auch gesundes Frühstück, bei schönem Wetter auch auf der Terrasse am wunderschönen Ballplatz gelegen. Der Service schnell und super freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

When we visit Mainz, we love to have breakfast here. - The service is always very friendly and helpful. - The food is delicious, we especially liked the buffet on Sundays. - The location is great. The nearest parking garage and shops are within walking distance. But you might notice that in the prices. - What makes us particularly happy is that the service staff always look after our little dog and our little daughter very lovingly. - And what's also good to know: There is also a changing table in the women's toilet. We always enjoy coming back :)

Das Tomatentürmchen bestand leider aus eingelegten Tomaten, der übliche übersäuerte Essig und dazu ein paar Walnussstücke auf Ruccolasalat. Das war nicht gut. Man sitzt sehr gut und die Bedienung ist nett. Aber das Essen war in meinem Fall mehr als mäßig.

Es war ein toller Sonntagsbrunch. Jederzeit wieder ♡

It was a slightly different breakfast. No breakfast buffet but a selection of breakfasts that you can vary according to your own taste. It was super tasty and the service and ambience were great too. Recommended.

Waiters are totally crazy and like to make hurtful comments! : " Oh, you want to eat these two things alone? Wow so much, Nadann enjoy your meal." When paying, we round down to 23 euros and the waiter takes 25 euros and simply gives himself a 2 euro tip. More appearance than reality

Wir waren am Sonntag zum Brunchen bei Wilma und es war wirklich schön! Es gibt eine tolle vegetarische Auswahl und es wurde sich gut darum gekümmert, dass von allem was da war. Es bietet sich an auf jeden Fall vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren, da es sonst gut möglich ist, dass alle Plätze besetzt sind.

I was there today with my sister and the children and couldn't stop raving about it. It is a very child-friendly restaurant that offers spaetzle or porridge free of charge up to the age of 4 and the kids immediately received pens and coloring books. The food was very good and the staff was extremely friendly. I really can't complain. The prices are also completely reasonable and in my opinion not overpriced. Always happy! :)

Really nice place. What is a bit disturbing is this rope barrier on the outside area. If you don't want people to just sit down, you can solve it in a more charming way. Food was ok -- but not great. I would have expected more given the hip atmosphere and the advertising for regional products etc. Some dish combinations appeared and were a bit daring, for example Japanese noodles with potato sauce. Service was friendly, but we had to wait quite a long time.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch gebracht. Die Bedienung blieb sehr nett,kam öfter zu uns wegen der Bestellung zum Essen. Die 5. Person hat sich verspätet. Doch dann hat sie mit einem Lächeln und viel Verständnis die Bestellungen aufgenommen. Das war uns ein gutes Trinkgeld werd.

Today I chose the Avocado Nest for breakfast again. Unfortunately the avocado was still unripe and not edible. After the complaint, a plate came with a portioned half that was no better. My wife's bacon was also limp. We're not used to that. A pity !! Hopefully better next time!

My absolute favorite place for breakfast 😍 but I also love going there for other meals. The warne cookie is a dream! And eggnog on top of that... heavenly 😍😍 Generally unusual dishes and drinks, but everything is really tasty. And super friendly, relaxed staff.

I went to your place for breakfast with my colleagues and was once again thrilled by the atmosphere! The food was very tasty, but I wish you had some more bread, especially whole grain bread with seeds. The service was very nice, but I was surprised that my colleague was called by her first name, but I wasn't next to her...that should be consistent. Otherwise I would always come back, even if it was quite expensive.

Mein Gesamt eindruck war sehr Gut, leider muss ich echt Pech gehabt haben, ich weiss nicht ob wir irgendetwas nicht vertragen haben oder doch etwas schlecht war, aber ich sowie meine Mutter hatten den rest des Tages Magenbeschwerden. Wir hatten das Brunch Buffet genommen, alles sah sehr gut, frisch und lecker aus, geschmeckt hat es auch, aber wir hatten beide Übelkeit und einen Druck auf dem Bauch von irgendeiner Zutat. Da wir an dem Tag nicht anderes gegessen haben muss es von Ihnen gekommen sein. Wir hatten, Lachs, Avocado-Frischkäse, Rührei mit Speck und ein bisschen Brot, sowie jeder einen Cappuccino mit Mandel/Hafermilch. Alles sachen die wir normalerweise gut vertragen. Abgesehen davon, der Service war 1A, und alles war sehr lecker, aber für den Preis finde ich es schon ärgerlich das wir etwas schlechtes abbekommen haben.

Wie immer waren mein Gast und ich sehr zufrieden. Die Empfehlung der Grapefruit... Limo war echt klasse!

It's nicely furnished and you can sit comfortably. Sometimes you wait quite a long time for your order, but the staff is friendly and helpful. There are painting supplies for children and child seats are available. The food is delicious, especially the homemade cakes are great.

Leckeres Essen, liebes Team, leider durften wir nur zwei Stunden bleiben, obwohl draußen viel frei war und und ein kleiner Tisch zum Abstellen der Getränke gereicht hätte, wurde uns leider kein Tisch zum Umziehen angeboten. Schade, wären gerne noch geblieben.

Overall a very nice atmosphere, you can sit really nicely both inside and outside. However, I think the prices overall are a bit too high. Especially for the drinks. Of course everything has become more expensive, but here it's a bit higher. The service was very attentive and nice, but overall things didn't really go well. On the one hand, many things took too long, even though it wasn't full, and in the end there was something wrong on the bill. That shouldn't happen either. Food quality was ok, but there is room for improvement. Maybe use more hollandaise sauce for the tarte flambée, as it was rather dry overall. What was very good was the cake...it was really great. Overall, a benevolent 3.5 stars, which I round up to 4. Solid but nothing special either. But you definitely can't go wrong if you go here.

Der Service war top. Zum Frühstück esse ich gerne Brötchen mit Wurst , Käse, Marmelade und einem Ei. Die Frühstücksauswahl war nicht nur mir zu "modern" interpretiert, sondern auch dem Rest vom Tisch. Wir werden nicht mehr zum Frühstück kommen.
