The chicken cordon bleu was not well prepared, unfortunately you can get it much better in the supermarket. Things have also been significantly better in other restaurants so far. Everything else that evening was good to very good.

Sehr gute bürgerliche Küche, netter und aufmerksamer Service, humane Preise. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch in der Mainzer Altstadt wert.

“Home cooking”, cozy and a restaurant that has a long history in an ambience of bygone times. The owners could probably be in well-deserved retirement, but their restaurant is their passion - and it shows. The menu has been simplified somewhat compared to previous years, but everyone can still find something tasty here to feel well looked after in the gymnasium and enjoy the evening. Because Ms. Schmitt is particularly good at this art: you come in and feel at home. An original restaurant of which there aren't many left. Advance reservation is recommended!

Cute restaurant with a really nice patio. I ordered the goulash, which was good, but not goulash. More like a beef pot roast. But very tasty. What was a bit odd is that pretty much all dishes (including mine) had pumpkin. Probably seasonal, but it seemed a little too much. All in all, a really nice experience, with great service.

Full stars from us. We went to “das Glöckle” for the first time on Friday and were thrilled. Totally cozy atmosphere, very nice staff and the cabbage rolls are a dream. Only the chocolate cake with a liquid center was not liquid. But since it really tasted good, complaining would be on a high level. I think advance reservation is recommended. We'd love to come back :)

We spontaneously went to the Schwalbennest today and were pleasantly surprised. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The burger was really delicious, the schnitzel was also well received. Personally, I thought it was frozen, the owner guaranteed that it was fresh. Anyway, it tasted good and good. The restaurant is sweetly decorated and looks inviting We have found another restaurant that will now be on our list and that we will probably go to more often.

Beer was good. Didn't try food. Bundesliga is shown. Everything was fine!

Very nice restaurant in Mainz, very nice welcome, but very mediocre food, bad steak: it was medium rare, but the meat was tough, the food was far too expensive for this quality!

Es war nicht unser erster Besuch. Service wie immer sehr freundlich. Essen war auch wieder sehr lecker. Auch kann man das Treiben auf den Bahnhof sehr gut beobachten, was unseren Enkel sehr freute.

A year ago I was super happy. Today I ate here again and nothing was right. The chicken was so dry you could throw it against the wall and service was also impossible. I won't eat here anymore. Shame about the money

2 dishes good, 2 not... pork fillet and croustade ok, sea bream full of bones, couscous way too spicy. We would have hoped for an indication of this when we placed the order at the latest. Unfortunately there was no nightcap on the house... This gesture would certainly have been conciliatory...
