Very tasty food, nice service in a very rustic atmosphere

Dog friendly place with very tasty food. However, the main course came in pieces, so you only had to finish the salad until the rest came. Due to the very full restaurant, the service wasn't seen very often. A visit is still recommended as the portion sizes were also very pleasant 👍🏼

We were there for brunch on CHRISTMAS 2ND. Apart from the unpleasant noise in the chapel area, we have rarely experienced a more carelessly set up buffet on a holiday... The presentation and unfortunately also the taste reminded me of mediocre canteen food. The dessert in particular (some of the fruit for the chocolate fountain looked as if kindergarten children had made it) was very disappointing in terms of selection, presentation and taste. Unfortunately, absolutely overpriced in view of what was offered. Only the service was, in our opinion, okay. Definitely not again.

The two of us ate here. Since neither of us had ever eaten Nepalese before, we just wanted to be surprised and ordered a starter plate for two people and two different main courses. The service was quick and very friendly. While serving, the waitress noticed my irritated look.🤔 Very attentive.👍 (I had Dal Bhaat. Served partly on a silver “tray” and in five or six individual bowls.) Since the waitress noticed that I was obviously “overwhelmed” by it, she asked me if I had ever eaten it before or if she could tell me something about it and how to put it together. As I said: very nice, very attentive. We found everything we got to be very good in terms of quality, quantity and taste. Since the restaurant is located in a rifle shelter, the ambience doesn't really match the great cuisine. We'll definitely be back.

Everything is great. You can't eat much better in the Koblenz region. The service is perfect and the ambience fully matches it. Off to Mülheim-Kärlich.

Probably the best restaurant at the moment when it comes to food. I've been going there for 15 years. I often eat the 350 gram steak with a dark sauce and steak fries. But it's brilliant and the quality has been top for 15 years. Good costs 43.50 but with others a steak like this also costs 35 euros and is nothing. But other dishes are also top, for example goulash or wild pork steak, fried pink but it's a real hit for 18.50 with side dishes. The only disadvantage is pre-ordering

Today I had cod with risotto as my main course. After a short time, the cod fillet sank into a very liquid saffron sauce. When it was pointed out that the cod and especially the risotto were not visible in the sauce, the cook said that everything was ok and that was what was intended, even though the plate was still filled with plenty of sauce and brought into the kitchen. It's a shame that the friendly suggestions for improvement wanted by the remaining owner were not accepted. This is what the fillet 12 23 looked like!!! Nothing sank there!!! The waitress got a tip out of pity and wasn't to blame for the kitchen's behavior. And we wanted to show them what generosity means

We spent a weekend with friends and chose this house for our overnight stay. The owner family and their team are very hospitable and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. From here you can easily start hiking in the Westerwald or take trips to the Rhine region. Our stay at the “Gasthaus Stroh” helped ensure that we had a great weekend. Thanks for that!
