Very tasty food, nice service in a very rustic atmosphere

Very tasty food, super nice service. There is also a very pleasant atmosphere in the new extension. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back.

Rustic Mainz wine bar. We were there spontaneously yesterday and, with a lot of luck and some improvisational talent on the part of the waiter, we actually got a table even though we hadn't made a reservation (highly recommended). The atmosphere was nice, the service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent (compliments to the chef) and the wines were consistently excellent. The white ones in particular were of a quality that you rarely get in a glass-by-the-glass bar. We'll definitely come back.

Went there to eat “Dipphas” with a larger group. Delicious and the venison goulash could still be improved. Service and location completely okay. Too bad. Little parking space

Very nice, young service. The taste of the food was also very good. We think it's great when people can try something different in our area and are invited on culinary trips. Please do more of this and definitely stay there! :-D

Apparently the management of the restaurant is slacking off. Defective light bulbs will not be replaced. What was unpleasant was that the greeting from the kitchen (which was very tasty) was served immediately with the menu. How are you supposed to choose a dish in peace and eat it at the same time? The starter (corn salad) was very tasty. The dressing was well balanced. The main course (gnocchi) was pathetic for €25. A big handful with some tomato sauce for that price? The taste was okay, but nothing special. The desired wine list had to be requested twice and then no service came to order. The service in general was inattentive and listless. As if they wanted to get rid of us quickly. In summary, it can be said that the restaurant seems to have had its good times behind it. The numerous photos of prominent (dead) politicians are of no use if only the past is celebrated and nothing is invested in the future.

Our favorite restaurant for many years. Marco cooks wonderfully. Everything is super delicious. It doesn't get any better!

No idea why this restaurant gets such high scores here... We had made a reservation in advance and mentioned that we had something to celebrate and received a nice email back. Unfortunately, there was no sign of this on the spot and there was no room for a quiet table either. The old main part looked nice and rustic, but we were allowed to sit in an atmospheric side room. It must be said, the service was very fast but also made a rushed impression (staff were sick, he said). The food was tasty but unimaginative. The bratkatoffeln were in a heap and noticeably warmed up. They were therefore not warm. The meat was good. Maybe this evening was a miss, but they won't see us there anymore. Conclusion: belly full, small bill but not a good meal in an unpleasant restaurant. Luckily we were able to get dessert at our hotel.

Child-friendly, nice atmosphere and most importantly: delicious food. Even though it was full, the waiting time was really okay and we were informed of this straight away at reception.

We stayed at Stroh for 3 days and it was really nice. Very nice hosts, nice rooms with great mattresses, noise protection windows (the church was opposite and you couldn't hear anything), super delicious, freshly cooked food in the evening. Many locals are there in the evenings, for example to go bowling. Free parking space in front of the door. Smoking area with seating and roofing. Everything was available at breakfast. Anything missing can be ordered. We'll be back!!!!!!
