It was great again in the Schützenhaus...love and great hospitality, we also got a water bowl for the dogs 👍 delicious food...and great music from the owner (I love life🎶)....you feel very comfortable the nice open people 😍

Delicious food, nice host and nice restaurant. Ate schnitzel, super tasty and very large portions. Children got free ice cream. Everyone was full and very happy. In summer there is a terrace with a very nice view, today we were in the restaurant. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

A nice place to stay. Since I didn't eat anything, I can't rate it. What I saw looked delicious though. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I'll come back and then I'll eat something too 😉 I've eaten at the Schützenhaus twice now and was very impressed. I have rarely eaten such a good cream schnitzel. My companion also really enjoyed her tarte flambée. We'll definitely come by again. A little tip: I would reserve a table for a weekend visit. On both Sundays that I was there, all the seats were taken around 12:30 p.m. Bon appetit

Super delicious food. Very cozy 🫶🏻 Staff is always friendly. Dogs are welcome. Feel free to come here, unfortunately it doesn't work that often. Food is always freshly prepared. In summer, the large beer garden invites you to linger. Beautiful view of the valley towards Bad Dürkheim.

Nice restaurant with delicious, typical Palatinate food and friendly service. Reservation recommended. Easily accessible on foot from Bad Dürkheim in about 45 minutes, of course you can also take the car 😉

It's very loud and cramped inside, but the beer garden is great! We were there two weeks ago and were lucky that it wasn't raining and the sun was really coming out when we arrived after our hike. The food was okay, the taste wasn't out of the ordinary, a classic offering from a hut in the hiking area. Portion size could have been a bit larger for me (had the sheep's cheese). After a hike you have a bit more of an appetite than usual 😜. The service was good, the employees were very nice and accommodating. 👍🏻

What can I say Anja and Theo like the team are great hosts. The salad was deliciously dressed and not just a dollop of sauce on top. Our meal with delicious freshly pounded schnitzels with mushroom cream sauce, plain and liver dumplings, delicious. I have to go there again! 👍

Sat at a large table with 20-30 other “strangers” but quite friendly people. The room is small and was very crowded. Unfortunately, not even a window was opened and it was relatively stuffy in there... The food came quite quickly and the portion was very generous. It was definitely freshly cooked! A rarity these days unfortunately... Pleasantly seasoned. Price/performance was absolutely fine! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Gladly again.

The staff is super friendly, the food is really tasty, you can tell that a lot of passion is put into the work here. We can only give our recommendation... and keep it up. We'd love to come back.

Very nice food if you like meat like me

We were there for the first time today, mainly to do the fantastic archery course, but when it got quite late, we still got delicious food despite the house being full and 7 minutes before the kitchen closed - we have rarely experienced such warm innkeepers and service staff!! We still looked at what we have there, what can we offer so that “the people” can get something into their stomachs. We had a place in the back room of the inn where a small celebration took place, the atmosphere was great - where do you still see a couple of guests putting a “quick foot” on the parquet. The innkeeper apologized for the fun party and loud music, but we want to say again: it was great with you, especially because of this celebration and your warmth and the delicious food! Thank you for the lovely evening with you! We'd love to come back! This time with reservation 🫶🏻

Located in the middle of the forest, but still has a great view of the Rhine plain. Great start-finish point for great hikes. Large parking lot. Food was great. I came here from Auggen (near Freiburg) for our family celebration. Mega delicious, especially the liver dumplings are sensational. The trip was worth it 😋. We'll definitely come back. Many greetings to the lovely staff, the singing Anja and the famous Theo. Claus from Auggen 🐺.

We went for a walk with the dog in the adjacent forest and then we stopped here for dinner. It was very busy and we were offered a quiet table despite not having a reservation. Catering was great, the service staff was very bright and put a bowl straight for our dog and took our drink order. Despite being busy, the waiting times weren't particularly long and the food was excellent. Our insider tip is the appetizer garlic pepperoni. Very deliciously gratinated, even Greek cuisine can do the trick. All in all, a perfect visit and the view is more than just worth seeing. We will definitely come back!

Very nice terrace where you can sit in the shade and cool even when the temperatures are high. With a great view of Bad Dürkheim. The food was very good. Finally a paprika schnitzel with lots of paprika on it. The fried potatoes were also great. The schnitzel with pepper cognac sauce is also highly recommended. A friendly and family atmosphere. Sufficient parking spaces are available.

Yesterday we were at the Schützenhaus with friends, it was very nice to sit on the terrace in the fresh air. The two service girls (Julia and Meli) as well as the boss Anja and Theo are all super nice! The terrace was full, everyone was running and serving the guests courteously. The drinks were served very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The kitchen, led by chef Haytham, works excellently and brings very good food to the table. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back.
