We have been there several times and are always thrilled. Today there were four of us without a reservation. Although practically everything was occupied or reserved, a table was provided for us. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. The location is cozy and very clean. We and our friends always enjoy coming here ☺️

I came here from Auggen (near Freiburg) for our family celebration. Mega delicious, especially the liver dumplings are sensational. The trip was worth it 😋. We'll definitely come back. Many greetings to the lovely staff, the singing Anja and the famous Theo. Claus from Auggen 🐺.

We went for a walk with the dog in the adjacent forest and then we stopped here for dinner. It was very busy and we were offered a quiet table despite not having a reservation. Catering was great, the service staff was very bright and put a bowl straight for our dog and took our drink order. Despite being busy, the waiting times weren't particularly long and the food was excellent. Our insider tip is the appetizer garlic pepperoni. Very deliciously gratinated, even Greek cuisine can do the trick. All in all, a perfect visit and the view is more than just worth seeing. We will definitely come back!

There were 9 of us here and we ate and drank divinely and generously. All special requests were fulfilled and after the final coffee and cake we were completely happy. The boss and the waitress are also great. We'll be back! 10 out of 5 stars!

Very nice terrace where you can sit in the shade and cool even when the temperatures are high. With a great view of Bad Dürkheim. The food was very good. Finally a paprika schnitzel with lots of paprika on it. The fried potatoes were also great. The schnitzel with pepper cognac sauce is also highly recommended. A friendly and family atmosphere. Sufficient parking spaces are available.

Sooo...This is the second time I've been here and everything was always right. Very nice family atmosphere, just as you would have known it from back in the day in good middle-class businesses. The waitresses are very personable and not accommodating. Even the boss and the boss come to the tables and see that no wish remains unfulfilled. We're going back in 2 days!!! Yesterday we visited the Palatinate and were able to have lunch in the beautiful forest restaurant with a view of Bad Dürkheim. Very nice and hardworking staff! The head of the house also came to the table and chatted with us briefly and asked if everything was satisfactory! Very tasty food, large portions at reasonable affordable prices. We felt very comfortable. Thanks to the entire team and...we'll definitely be back at some point!

Yesterday we were at the Schützenhaus with friends, it was very nice to sit on the terrace in the fresh air. The two service girls (Julia and Meli) as well as the boss Anja and Theo are all super nice! The terrace was full, everyone was running and serving the guests courteously. The drinks were served very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The kitchen, led by chef Haytham, works excellently and brings very good food to the table. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back.

The service is quick, very friendly and attentive. There's only one thing to say about the food: Very, very, very tasty... All in all, the Schützenhaus forest restaurant is worth a visit. Better late than never. We were there on my mom's birthday, which the boss probably noticed by chance. As a surprise we were treated to sparkling wine. That was great! My little son even got an ice cream just like that, and so did mom 😅🥰
