A restaurant visit in a class of its own! Summer evening on the cozy terrace with a view of the Rhine plain, exquisite wines, taste experiences during the menu, cheerful and professional service and a chef who asks how you are doing. It doesn't get any better.

Small, cozy wine bar with good wines. Small, delicious local dishes. Something for everyone. You are always warmly welcome here. The wine bar is still run with heart and soul.

This is a great place to meet for large groups. The staff are very attentive, and both indoor and outdoor seating are fantastic! Driving up the hill to the restaurant may be a little confusing. There is restrictions sign ⭕️ at the bottom of the hill going into what looks like a narrow alleyway. Look to the right side of the road, and you will see a brown sign pointing to the Schloß Café 👈. Going into the road that looks like an alleyway is the correct direction. Be sure to share this with any visitors that you are meeting at the café. We had some work associates from the U.S. walk up the hill because they did not know any better. 🥵

I would order medallions with pepper sauce and croquettes again straight away!

It's a bit more expensive, but worth every cent. Very cozy and homely. Very friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long for anything. Gladly again

Delicious and traditional cuisine interpreted in a modern way with good quality, friendly people in the company! During the Corona period, we bought vouchers for a four-digit amount for all employees of our company there to support operations. All voucher recipients enjoyed the quality of food and service.

It is definitely advisable to reserve a table well in advance of your visit. The Pfaffschranke is very, very well attended.
