It's a bit more expensive, but worth every cent. Very cozy and homely. Very friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long for anything. Gladly again

We had a successful last evening of vacation here. The menu is high-quality, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, the service is attentive and warm, and the atmosphere in the old half-timbered house makes you feel at home.

Highly recommended. The food is at a high level. There are also excellent dishes for vegetarians. The price level is very affordable for the quality offered.

Everything was great during our dinner here. The menu offers great choices for everyone, with a standard 3 course menu, where you choose the entrée, main course and dessert. The building itself is gorgeous, being hundreds of years old, decorated with all kind of items from the past. Service was great, with a friendly staff, which also speaks English. Paying by card is possible as well. We really liked it and we highly recommend it, but I also recommend making reservations in advance.

A great restaurant in terms of ambience. There are 3 menus to choose from. The food was good but very small portions. The wine was very well suggested, but 20 euros more expensive than the winemaker's, which we found outrageous (exactly the same wine).

Das Restaurant "Zum Eichamt" ist ein uriges Fachwerkhaus. Einge Tische befinden sich straßenseitig draußen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es werden Dreigängemenus angeboten, bei welchen jeder Gast etwas finden sollte, auch Vegetarier. Die Weinkarte ist nach regionalen Weingütern geordnet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat alles gut geschmeckt und der Weißburgunder war hervorragend.

Beautiful outdoor area directly on the Moselle. Unfortunately we were not served despite the “Open” sign. When asked in the restaurant, they said they needed a break sometimes. There were no drinks.

Very nice restaurant with a nice outdoor and great indoor area. Very rustic and just cozy. The waitress and boss were very nice and funny and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The food, which was a three-course menu, was just perfect for me and my wife. Well crafted, visually appealing (see pictures) and in terms of taste you can't do much better. Everything was fine in terms of time, the courses came quickly and you didn't have to wait long for drinks. Oh yes, drinks: A very nice and extensive wine list rounds off the very good overall impression. Conclusion: If you are in the area you should definitely stop by. We'll do that too, namely again the day after tomorrow 😁😁😉

We went to the Eichamt on our Moselle vacation based on a recommendation. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and well served. Kudos to the waitress, who also served all the other tables at the same time. The atmosphere and the style of the furnishings were very cozy. After we chose the starter and main course, we were served “realistically”. By this we mean that the food came to the table fresh. Nothing was prepared and it sat in the kitchen forever. It was very tasty. Everything was presented nicely but without much exaggeration. After all, 100 blueberries can't make up for a bad rump steak. That's why it's visually a 10 out of 10. The taste is exactly the same and the service was also perfect. Keep it up!

Full marks for food and service. The concept really works and the price-performance ratio is fair. Only the wine... Well, we are in a wine region and not Upper Bavaria. The wine selection is really good, but all three white wines served were clearly too warm. In the late summer heat, the wine was at room temperature after 20 minutes. Rinse was also clearly present in a wine. In a restaurant of this standard, I expect a lot more when it comes to wine. In the other restaurants we visited it was much more professional. We didn't say anything so as not to ruin our birthday with a bad mood. We hope that we will experience an improvement on our next visit. Full marks are given for the very good food and the nice young man who took excellent care of us.

We were in this restaurant for the first time. The reception was friendly, the service attentive and good. The food was delicious and came quickly. The main courses could have been a little warmer, but all in all everything was to our satisfaction. The menus were very creative and unusual.

Great location in close proximity to the Moselle. Unfortunately on a main street. You can enjoy drinks directly on the banks of the Moselle. The highly innovative dishes are available at/in the restaurant. This turns out to be a space miracle. You should have seen it. I had the 3 course menu and was absolutely thrilled. There's obviously someone working in the kitchen who really knows how to cook. Cheers! The service was also really friendly and service-oriented. Of course the wine was also great. Of course the visit wasn't cheap, but... it was worth it.

Zum Eichamt has opened up a beautiful seating area right on the Mosel river banks. Still wonderful service as always and a peaceful place to enjoy lunch and a glass of wine. Each day there is a small menu for starters and lunch. The food is delicious. Everything about Zum Eichamt is amazing! They serve top quality food, have a beautiful charming inside seating area, and an outside seating area under grape vines and views of the Mosel. The service is so attentive and friendly. The owners and other server are so welcoming and always have time to get to know their customers. They offer three course meals, there’s always a meat, seafood, and vegetarian option. The starter is small portions of a few different items giving you a chance to really experience the chef’s expertise. Tonight, it was bread/butter, cold cucumber soup, beets, salad, mozzarella/tomato, prosciutto/melon and an egg/mushroom bite. For the main course we ordered the pulpo (octopus) with pea risotto and vegetables as well as the rump steak with salad and potatoes. The steak was a perfect medium and very flavorful. The octopus dish was flavored with lemon sauce and the vegetables had a nice seasonal flavor. The third course was dessert! We went with the crème brûlée/ice cream as well as the caramel brownie/ice cream. The ice cream had a raspberry coating and both desserts were served with berries. The wine is all local and some can be ordered by the glass. They have an extensive wine menu. And, to finish off the perfect night we had a mandarin schnapps digestive. You absolutely get what you pay for. The service, atmosphere, and food were worth it!

We walked in later in the evening and without a reservation. Yet they had set a table for us. The food was very good. The restaurant itself was not large, but that made it more personal, so very nice! Our German is not good, so we had to do it in English. The young man who served us went out of his way to speak English to us. He had also brought the menu board (it was a large board) in English. It is highly recommended!

During our hike we discovered beautiful seating areas on the Moselle and took a seat. We were warmly welcomed and asked about our wishes. We decided on two dry Rivaner and two starters (pulled salmon on cucumber salad with guacamole and beetroot apple tartar with goat cheese gratin). These were brought to us and we were amazed. The arrangement and composition of the fresh dishes was not only pleasing to the eye, it also tasted excellent. The dessert, an asparagus strawberry parfait with an eggnog quark donut, also pampered all the senses. The highlight of our hike ☺️

We were very pleased to find a new refreshment stop right on the banks of the Moselle. A nice gentleman asked what we wanted without a card and we ordered two glasses of rose. When we wanted to pay, the two glasses of rose cost 19 euros!!! Absolute impudence! Read it and move on

Wir waren voller positiver Erwartung aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen und wurden enttäuscht! Tolles Fachwerk von außen und schöne Ambiente innen. Service fanden wir äußerlich sowie fachlich von Beginn an unpassend. Vorspeise rote Beete war lecker, Lachsfetzen mit Gurke ohne Geschmack! Hauptgang Bachforelle der totale Flop. Geschmacklos und trocken mit Flusskrebs gefüllt, Gemüse frisch, Kartoffelpüree ok. NachtischCreme Brûlée’ mit Beeren zum Abschluss ganz gut. Wir waren aber schnell wieder draußen und konnten nicht verstehen, warum so viele von dem Lokal schwärmen. Wir sind keine Gourmets aber wenn’s nicht schmeckt, sagen wir auch unsere Meinung. Wir glauben dass das Lokal seine besten Jahre hinter sich hat und kommen auch nicht wieder. Sehr schade!!

We had dinner here today for my birthday and it couldn't have been nicer. The ambience is exceptional, the staff are super nice and funny and the food is great. Very pleasant portions. A great selection of starters, main courses and desserts. The food is lovingly prepared and the taste cannot be beaten. The meat is cooked to perfection. Really great little restaurant. And there’s also a great selection of regional wines. We would love to come back here.

Wir waren begeistert. Wir hatten das Glück an einem sehr ruhigen Abend im Restaurant zu speisen. Die Menü Auswahl war sehr groß. Wir haben uns für ein Schweinefilet entschieden. Davor gab es eine Vorspeise, bestehend aus Blattsalat Frischkäse und einem Geflügelpastete. Die Nachspeise bestand aus einem Joghurtparfait, mit einer Whisky Praline, wir gehen sehr häufig essen und fanden dieses Essen fantastisch. Leider konnten wir keine Bilder machen, da wir kein Handy dabei hatten. Auch sehr empfehlenswert war ein Rosé vom Weingut Mut.

Bad service and disrespectful. Even simple requests (side dish on an extra plate) were ignored. Ultimately it was expensive and annoying. We cannot recommend the Zum Eichamt.

Our waitress, however, seemed quite demotivated and dissatisfied at the beginning. She also had trouble distributing the drinks and was unable to light the candles on the table even though the lighter worked. In our group we had a vegetarian who couldn't get used to any of the menus on offer. No problem for the vegetarian, he was prepared for that and would have eaten something at home. Nevertheless, he asked if he could just get a side dish (potato gratin). The waitress asked and then told us that this wasn't possible because everything had been counted and the vegetarian who didn't like mushrooms could still have the mushroom ragout. She already showed her lack of understanding here. As I said, no problem, he was prepared to just eat at home. Another person in our group actually wanted to have a menu without potatoes au gratin as a side dish. However, she wasn't very hungry and decided to take the menu with the potato au gratin so that our vegetarian could have it and she would have to eat less. When ordering, we explicitly said that the potato should be brought on a separate plate, otherwise the vegetarian would find it disgusting and would no longer want to eat it. The waitress took it that way too. A few minutes later the other lady from the counter came down to us, only to tell us that she would then charge a little extra for the vegetarian. The vegetarian had not taken anything from the buffet, as one could have seen by looking at his seat, and had no intention of doing so. The things there were certainly no more appealing than the menus. After our astonished reaction to the unprofessional and inappropriate message from the lady at the counter, she backed off and left again. A while later the food arrived - and, oh wonder - our request was coldly ignored. Like everyone else who had the same dish, the potato was right next to the steak. An absolute disgrace given the previous statements, behavior and also the hefty price for the menu. We immediately complained to the waitress, who showed absolutely no understanding. A normal reaction would have been: "Oh, we're sorry, we'll bring you an extra potato right away. It's on the house." We, on the other hand, received accusations that we should have looked at the menu beforehand, that the extra plate didn't matter (why don't you say that beforehand?), and that she should have "really pulled herself together" (Aren't we?? ). She simply left and we were not to see her again for the rest of our stay. Absolutely inappropriate, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior, not just for a restaurant in this price range. A few minutes later another waitress came to us, said something like "Your extra au gratin potato is coming soon" and then disappeared straight away. We wondered: weren't we told beforehand that everything was counted? We thought that this would now be a free repair (“reparation”). Finally the waitress brought the extra potato to the table. When it finally came to pay, one of us went to the counter to de-escalate the situation. Despite this courtesy, the lady at the counter did something that was EXTREMELY unprofessional and certainly not legal: she quoted a sum but refused to show the bill before paying. We paid (without a tip, of course), and lo and behold: the extra potato au gratin is listed at !!7.20!! on the bill. She looked really stupid when we canceled our reservation for the next day. This is an absolute disgrace and we cannot recommend anyone to eat here.

We ate there last night. You got a starter platter, then you could choose a main course and at the end a dessert. The prices for the 3 courses fluctuated between €43-59 - which was a very good price for the excellent food! We were more than satisfied and have rarely eaten SO well. The restaurant is very quaint and cozy - especially cozy during the cold season. The service was fantastic. The food came quickly and everything was done to make us feel comfortable. Simply recommended!

The atmosphere was very nice, but that doesn't justify the price. The 3-course menu also did not meet expectations. It was okay but they tried desperately to look chic. A little less would actually be significantly more here. Home-style cuisine and reasonable prices would be ideal for this atmosphere.

It is a cozy restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The food is interesting, with many options for the chef's menu. We tried the beef and deer menu, and that was nice. The mains were good and in line with our expectations. We were expecting a more creative and tasty starter, but it was rather simple/bland. The desert was like a "cold molten chocolate lava cake" and for our taste, it felt very heavy/unbalanced and the accompanying ice cream had a lot of unmixed pieces of ice . I'm curious to return and give it another try and hope for some changes/improvements in the menu.

Bis ins Detail wurden wir perfekt verwöhnt. Das 3-Gänge-Konzept irritiert zunächst aber die Gänge und die Portionsweise sind perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Hinterher ist man froh, die Abwechslung genossen zu haben. Super frische Produkte, alles raffiniert und phantasievoll zubereitet und angerichtet. Auch und gerade die vegetarischen Gerichte. Dazu hervorragende Weine aus der Nachbarschaft und netter Service.

Immer wieder gerne. Die Menüs sind superlecker, die Preise sind bei der Qualität des Essens durchaus akzeptabel. Die Örtlichkeit ist absolut einzigartig und alleine schon einen Besuch wert. Auf jeden Fall ist eine Reservierung am Wochenende zu empfehlen und kann leicht auf der Webseite des Restaurants erledigt werden. Bleibt nur zu sagen : guten Appetit

Haben zufällig am Radweg angehalten. Dort waren ein paar schöne Sitzgelegenheiten direkt an der Mosel platziert. Die Gastronomie liegt gegenüber der Straße. Trotzdem war der Chef sofort zur Stelle. Sehr, sehr freundlich. Habe zwei leckere Weine bestellt und einen Flammkuchen. Nachdem die Weine kamen, war der selbstgemachte Flammkuchen auch schon zur Stelle, super lecker sag ich Euch. Selbst der Teig war selbstgemacht!! Zum Abschluss gabe es noch eine kleine Führung inkl. Gewölbekeller. Also hier passt alles. Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit und gastronomischen Können vereint. So geht Gastronomie. Wir kommen irgendwann mal bestimmt wieder.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Alten Eichamt mit super leckerem Essen und netter, aufmerksamer Bedienung. Das Essen ist zwar nicht günstig, aber dafür passt die Qualität, es ist toll angerichtet und ist vom Geschmack perfekt abgestimmt. Es gibt hier nichts zu beanstanden - einfach super.👍

Heerlijk gegeten, iets hogere prijsklasse maar zeker de moeite waard. Enige nadeel voor ons is dat er geen kindermaaltijden aangeboden worden. Verder niks op aan te merken. Wij gaan zeker nog langs als we in de buurt zijn.

Uriges Restaurant mit französischen Einschlag, nur 3-Gänge Menu, aber sehr lecker.

Veludsøgt tre retters menu, hvor der indgik vegetarretter. Små forretter udvalgt af kokken, valgfrie hovedretter og desserter.

Was soll man schreiben? Im Vergleich zu den allerallermeisten Restaurants an der Mosel müsste man glatt 6 Sterne vergeben. Wer am liebsten "Schnitzel Wiener Art" mag, ist hier falsch aufgehoben. Darüber hinaus besticht das Eichamt durch eine schöne, denkmalgeschützte Location. Die Terrasse direkt vor dem Haus ist etwas klein, aber kaum hat man den Kopf eingezogen und die niedrige Pforte durchschritten, ist man in sehr authentischen, gemütlichen Räumen. Zur Auswahl stehen um die sieben verschiedene 5-Gang-Menüs mit unterschiedlichen Nachspeisen und einer leckeren Vorspeise. Es ist garantiert für jeden etwas dabei: Auch Veganer und Vegetarier werden fündig. Wir hatten an zwei Tagen: Ente, Steinpilz-Ravioli, gegrillten Pulpo und Surf&Turf (mit Flusskreben). Alle Speisen haben vorzüglich geschmeckt und überraschen mit schönen Details. Kaum verwunderlich: An der Mosel gibt's eine ausführliche Weinkarte. Das beste am "Zum Eichamt" sind aber eigentlich die charmanten Betreiber Maren (macht alles) und ihr Mann Peter (Koch), sowie aller Servicekräfte. Auf geht's: Lassen Sie sich verwöhnen!

Erst durften wir uns hin setzen, Getränke bestellen. Dann wurden wir gebeten zu gehen, da es dem Koch wohl nicht gut ginge...obwohl die anderen Gäste alle ihr Essen bekommen hatten, während wir auf die Getränke warteten. Wir wissen ob es stimmte..... Die Getränke haben wir nicht bekommen, mussten aber auch nicht bezahlen...

Lovely staff and very good food. We had the Breakfast buffet which had a big variation of food. From Brie and ham to scrambles eggs with grilled veggies. Was lovely to be welcomed here!

Ein wirkliches Highlight in Zell, absolut empfehlenswert! Hier merkt man, dass der Koch Spaß an seiner Arbeit hat und die Gastgeberin sich auch als solche versteht. Die Menüauswahl reicht von Fleisch über Fisch bis hin zu vegetarischen Gerichten. Etwas abseits der Touristenspots gelegen passt hier alles zusammen, tolles Haus, tolles Ambiente, tolles Essen!

Wir waren mit zwei Personen im Eichamt essen . Der Service war sehr freundlich, die Beratung toll und das Konzept mit den hervorragend zubereiteten 3 Gängen fanden wir sehr gut ! Dazu gibt es eine breit gefächerte Auswahl an lokalen Weinen ! Das Essen war hervorragend - die Vorspeisen frisch, die Hauptspeisen auf den Punkt und wirklich gelungene Nachspeisen ! Wir würden jedem der in Zell ist und handwerklich sehr gute Küche genießen möchte, den Besuch hier empfehlen - wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder !!

Wir waren zu Dritt an einem Samstag im Eichamt essen...und es hat sich gelohnt. Von der einfachen Online-Reservierung, zum schönen Sitzplatz auf der kleinen Terrasse bis hin zum wirklich sehr, sehr gutem Essen, hat alles gepasst. Das Essen war für uns das Beste welches wir in der Region hatten. Man merkt, dass Wert auf kleine Details gelegt wird und man gerne auch ein bisschen experimentiert. In Summe eine klare Empfehlung. Preis-Leistung passen hier sehr gut!

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen hier… in einem kleinen Ort nicht viel erwartet und wurden dafür umso mehr überrascht. Die Location sehr authentisch und stimmig, das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen einfach der Wahnsinn! Preis-Leistung einfach top! Hier kriegt man noch was für sein Geld!
