Two stars because the food itself is good, but the way you treat the guest needs to be reconsidered. At first we wanted a table for our little one that was completely in the shade, but the waiter denied this without explanation and assigned us another table (even though there was a 'reserved' sign on the assigned table and not on the table in the shade). Then we ordered the turkey steak, the waitress even asked, so we assumed the order was clear. We got the turkey schnitzel (the steak should be served unbreaded in a pan with fried potatoes, so you can already tell the difference). When I asked the waitress, she said this was the turkey steak. When paying, we pointed out again that we hadn't received the dish we ordered, and this wasn't commented on at all. At least the schnitzel and not the steak was noted on the bill, which only confirmed the error. I don't like to give a restaurant a bad rating, even though the food is okay, but you can't lie to your guests and mistakes can definitely happen, then you can apologize and that's fine, but please don't ignore the guests and lie to them.

The food was okay, but I've never been to such a dirty restaurant, there were rats running under the table and the owner was completely sweaty and had white residue on the edge of his nose, and he was also unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

We were here for the first time. Had our dog with us. We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely. The food was wonderful. Thanks to the nice weather we were able to sit outside. We liked it and would like to come back.

Unfortunately a failure. 2 times it was really tasty. Good middle-class people are hard to find in Kirn. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle were decorated with cream and only ready-made dried fried onions. These are not cheese spaetzle! The lettuce was not fresh and the cucumber was already dried out. The schnitzel was definitely ready and you had to look for the sauce. There were 3 mushrooms with the mushroom schnitzel!!! Very unfortunate. Of course we noted it. There was no insight!

So, I can't write anything negative. Everything was fine. Service was attentive. I thought the raclette schnitzel was very good. Only the starter salad could have been a little more. But the freshness and taste made up for it. Everything is OK in terms of price. I found the outside area very nice (quiet and in the pedestrian zone).

The three of us had dinner there, spontaneously!! The welcome was friendly and the food was great! Price and performance fits. We felt comfortable and would love to come back 😉

After we had to wait almost an hour to order the food, my schnitzel was unfortunately very pale. I would also have liked to rate the breading on the back, but unfortunately it must have been left in the pan as it wasn't there.

Been here for the first time today. Service was totally on point and very polite! I then showed my ID with the gastric bypass and was able to order the children's portion without any problems, thank you very much for that!!!! What I found negative was that it didn't say that there was sauce. I ordered extra sauce, so I had two. Please change that in the menu or at least point it out! It was super tasty and my three companions were also thrilled and full. In my opinion, the price is reasonable. However, we do have one negative criticism, which doesn't allow us to deduct a star: the toilets are ice cold. Somehow that doesn't work at all. Otherwise I can only say: we would love to come back!

A family business where you can taste the taste of German cuisine. Service is fast, hygiene is 10, taste is 10. Prices are very reasonable.

Eher ernüchternd für ein Wirtshaus.. der Salat das einfachste und echt lieblos.. die Bratkartoffeln verbrannt. Die Bedienung war nett aber konnte den Gesamteindruck mit Steintapete die sich von den Wänden löst nicht ausmerzen... ich muss da nicht nochmal hin. Sorry

Wir waren heute mit 12 Personen im Kirner Wirtshaus, haben einen wunderschönen Tisch vor dem Lokal bekommen. Ich hatte die Leberknödel-Suppe und das Wirtshaus-Schnitzel, dazu 2 alk.-freie Kirner Weizen.... alles tip top👍 Auch Bedinung und Ambiente sehr nett 👍 Essen ist bei 12 Personen gleichzeitig serviert worden👍 Für uns alle... ein Top Wirtshaus mit sehr nettem Personal.... wir kommen wieder🤜🤛 Einziges "Manko".... wir waren mit Motorrädern unterwegs und es hatte direkt nach dem leckeren Essen angefangen zu regnen 😅😉✌️

Waren heute mit vier erwachsenen und zwei Kleinkindern dort zum Essen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und essen hat gut geschmeckt. Portionen sind groß.

Hatten gestern unsere Hochzeitsfeier im Restaurant gefeiert. Nach mehreren Probeessen hatten wir uns für das Kirner Wirtshaus entschieden, da es uns dort am besten geschmeckt und die Location uns zugesagt hat. Auch gestern hat alles gut geklappt und die Gäste waren sehr zufrieden. Wir können das Wirtshaus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen....

Super nette Bedienung. Das Essen schmeckt sehr frisch und die Portionen sind auch groß. Nichts zu meckern.

Leider keine so gute Bewertung. Wir waren vor Ort und haben Essen bestellt. Meine Frau bestellte Ofenkartoffeln, welche auch zügig serviert wurden. Meine Bestellung (eigentlich Wurstsalat) kam als Putenschnitzel später an den Tisch. Nach meinem Hinweis, dass ich eigentlich Wurstsalat bestellt hatte, wurde das Schnitzel wieder mitgenommen und zwei Minuten später kam dann die andere Servicekraft erneut mit dem exakt gleichen Schnitzel. Wieder wurde mitgeteilt, dass es kein Schnitzel, sondern Wurstsalat war. Nach weiteren Minuten kam ein recht unfreundlich aufgebrachter Vorgesetzter, der mir erneut das gleiche Schnitzel servieren wollte. Ich hatte "immernoch Wurstsalat" war meine Aussage. Er sagte dann, die Servicekraft hätte nun gesagt, ich wolle das Schnitzel nicht mehr ( na ja, habe es ja auch nicht bestellt). Kompromissbereit nahm ich dann das Schnitzel, ich hatte ja schließlich Hunger und meine Frau war schon fast fertig. Zum Schluss durfte ich dann auch das nicht bestellte Schnitzel bezahlen. Fazit: Essen war ganz ok, Service nicht zu empfehlen. Wir werden wohl dort nicht mehr hingehen. Schade

Schöne Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung, gutes Essen. Leider war das Schnitzel bereits beim servieren komplett in Soße ertränkt wodurch man nichts von der schön knusprigen Panade hatte, das wäre aber auch so ziemlich der einzige Kritikpunkt 😄

Schwierige Rezension für mich. Fangen wir mit dem positiven an. Der junge Mann im Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Beilagensalat war auch fein. Die drei warmen Gerichte waren gut, aber jetzt nicht der mega Knaller. Mit vier Getränken waren wir dann mit 3 Personen bei knapp 72€.Das fand ich schon krass. Preisleistung stimmt hier leider nicht.Sorry.

Bin dort nach einer langen Wanderung eingekehrt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flott. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut...Kalbsleber und Schmelzzwiebeln waren ausreichend, aber die Beilage Bratkartoffeln fand ich sehr wenig. Das ist aber eine Kleinigkeit und mein Empfinden ...vielleicht auch weil ich sehr hungrig war und auch nach dem Essen nicht wirklich satt war...getrunken hatte ich ein kleines Bier....das war gut gekühlt und frisch gezapft.

Leberknödel waren heute sehr gut. Leider ist die Bedienung etwas aufdringlich, Frauen gegenüber. Obwohl das Essen super war, weigert sich meine Frau, dort wieder hinzugehen. Schade.

Steak mit Schmorzwiebeln wirklich Top und ein sehr freundlicher Service.

Das Essen war gut, man konnte draußen sehr schön sitzen, und die Bedienung war top: sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, obwohl der Laden voll war. Ich würde wieder hingehen.

Essen war soweit gut, nur beim Saumagen gab es keine Sauce dazu, sondern Senf und Krenn. War jetzt nicht mein Geschmack, da bleib ich lieber beim Pfälzer Saumagen. Ansonsten war alles prima gewesen. Service war auch gut gewesen.

Super lecker und alles frisch. Kann die negativen Rezessionen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Personal total nett und fragt auch ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob man noch ein weiteres Getränk haben möchte.

Gutes Essen, sehr nette Bedienung, schöne Einrichtung und alles war sauber. Da es von einigen bemängelt wurde: Ja die Bedienung spricht kein perfektes Deutsch aber sie war sehr bemüht, zuvorkommend und hat uns top bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Einziges Manko, war die etwas kleine Portion beim Bauernteller.
