Very tasty food, nice service in a very rustic atmosphere

Were there for the second time today and it was an experience again. Starting with the great service, the waitresses were very attentive and extremely friendly, right up to the great food. Small, clear menu, but every dish is a poem. I have never eaten such a perfectly fried steak anywhere. It's definitely worth a visit. Really an insider tip. We'd love to come back.

83rd birthday of my mother's. Party of seven eating a la carte. Absolutely delicious, German cooking done to perfection. Good vegetarian options. Seasonal menu plus traditional favorites - I had calf liver with creamed kohlrabi and silky mashed potatoes. Service was friendly and warm rather than formal. Wonderful wine suggestions. Absolutely worth the money and a sure bet for a 'leaves a glow' evening with family or friends.

The service is very nice and friendly, but can be slow at times when it's too busy. Some of the food is overpriced. French fries were not served really warm and did not taste good (not crispy, half cold, stale) Winemaker's steak: Very thin, not really warm hidden under very fatty onions. Unfortunately, sausage salad was tasteless. We don't plan on going to this forest restaurant anymore.

Very well attended, rustic village inn with good cuisine and very good service. Although the inn offers a lot of space, it remains cozy because there is an intelligent room layout. Despite being full, it was still possible to have a good conversation because the room acoustics dampen background noise well, the staff were professional, quick and friendly despite the stress, and the landlord also took the time to ask several times whether everything was OK. Unfortunately the salads are drowned in sauce and unimaginative. If you eat there more often, the selection quickly becomes boring. That's why our initial joy about the place quickly faded. In summer there is also an outdoor area, but I don't find it very comfortable, there is still a lot of room for improvement. However, a table reservation is definitely necessary due to the high demand.

We were particularly impressed by the fast and very friendly service. Despite the large number of people, the staff were attentive and friendly, making us all feel very welcome. The organization and service of our large group went smoothly. The restaurant exudes a charming atmosphere, which made our girls' afternoon even more enjoyable. Another big plus was the friendliness of the chef, who was very accommodating and cared about his guests. "Zom Stüffje" in Cochem is definitely a great place, even if you're traveling in a larger group and value good food, friendly service, and a charming ambiance. The Brennofen wine bar is also a hotel. We had a double room, which was beautiful. Spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was great, as was the bathroom. We felt very comfortable. On our first evening, we had dinner in the wine bar. We opted for the very typical Palatinate dish: Fleeschkneep! It was delicious. The service and staff were very friendly. Always willing to listen and helpful. Oh yes, the breakfast was also excellent!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Mainz. They have nice classic French dishes, friendly and warm staff ( senior ladies), good wine list with reasonable prices. We had dinner during Easter Sunday. We managed to get a table by calling the phone number, using my basic A1 German language as the lady does not speak English, but she was very accommodating and hospitable.
