We have been holding our club party at Gasthof Ortmann for many years and are very satisfied with the food and service.

Went there for breakfast at a group party: tables were nicely set. The selection on the buffet was very good (only vegans should definitely make special arrangements). However, with our very large group, it would have been better to double the buffet, i.e. set it up in two places, because the queue was very long and some of those waiting were already standing between the tables. The staff was attentive and very friendly.

Had a delicious schnitzel. You only eat them like this in Germany. Highly recommended at this restaurant.

Nice location and very friendly waiters, the man on the phone was very unfriendly, the prices were way too high and the house is in need of renovation. Waffle with cherries and cream for 10 euros (without coffee)

We spent a wonderful evening at the Gasthaus Gohr. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully prepared. The Friday potato pancakes are highly recommended, and the meat dishes are also top-quality.

Pizza was very mediocre. Half not occupied. Boring in taste.

The best moist fish I've ever had! You can't compare it with all the dried fish snot that's otherwise around. P.S: Late in the evening, while having a nice chat with the head waiter, he revealed (a generous tip required) that the boss gets up at 3 a.m. every 1st Friday of the month to fish for the wettest fish from the Sellmannsbach. You may only work with vegan live bait! This keeps the fish moist even after weeks. Conclusion: FINALLY! Gelsenkirchen can have wet fish!

Super delicious tarts and cakes

This 'restaurant' looks like a house from the outside. It's not a restaurant you can just walk into. It's a kind of hotel. I don't understand why it says on Google Maps that it is a 'schnitzel restaurant' that opens at 6 p.m. It was closed. You had to make a reservation and we were there in May so it was closed. The information on Google Maps could be much better.

Tolles Personal sehr freundlich , leckeres Essen da merkt man noch das alles frisch zubereitet wird . Die Schnitzel sind der Hammer sowas findet man so schnell nicht mehr . Preis Leistung ist sehr gut , Teller sehr groß also essen sehr viel . Kann ich nur empfehlen und der Biergarten ist genial .
