Very friendly people there! The food was OK. You have to like the decor rather rustic or not. But it has something of a typical pub. I'd love to come back!

The food was good, but the restaurant is showing its age. It was annoying that we reserved a table and still had to wait over an hour for our food because there was a large group in the dining room. I think this should be mentioned in the confirmation when making a reservation. We had an appointment, so we ate the food in a hurry.

I can only warmly recommend the country inn! The food is always delicious and freshly prepared - just the thing after a nice hike or bike ride through the Königsforst or the Wahner Heide. The owner is always nice and friendly, which makes the stay even more pleasant. What's particularly nice is that you can also rent rooms there for events - perfect for celebrations or similar The path leads through the forest directly to the beer garden and there you can not only eat well, but also enjoy nature. You can even watch birds in the beer garden at the two birdhouses. Woodpeckers and squirrels 🐿️ can be seen there regularly, which makes the whole thing a special experience. A small suggestion for improvement would be the service: On the last visit, during a big event in the winter garden, the staff was a bit stressed and unfriendly. This is of course understandable given how busy it is, but overall the service could be a little better. Nevertheless, the country inn is a great place to relax after a hike and enjoy nature. I'd love to come back!

April 2025 Friendly welcome from Monsieur Kellner, natural interaction with the same customer and placement at a large corner table - everything was very pleasant. Easter Monday a slightly different menu, but still something for every taste. Delicious steak against Finkenwerder plaice, steak won, was super tender and the fries were divine. Always happy to come to this hospitable house with quality that you can simply rely on. I'd love to come back! and recommend...

Nice ambience, friendly service and a delicious currywurst with fries and a small salad * Really, I haven't eaten a currywurst that good in a long time, the sauce: exactly mine 😋👌 * Why then "4" stars 🤷 = because I would have expected a slightly larger sausage for the price 🤔 * Nevertheless, on my next visit to Aachen, I will definitely visit the restaurant again 👍

Last time it was a total failure. Ordered beer and finally got it after 25 minutes. Announcement the preparation of the food can take time, so far no problem. When the Siegerländerkrüstchen arrived after almost an hour, I was so hungry that I ate the “unidentifiable” thing on the plate. Didn't feel like waiting another hour. Everything was arranged one on top of the other and out of order, making it almost impossible to eat without an accident. Own The plate should have gone back to the kitchen as it was. The slice of bread would have been too good for ducks, an end piece, tiny, hard and dried out like it was from 3 days ago. There was no mushroom sauce to be found except for the two quarter pieces of champions under the schnitzel. Fried egg completely burnt from below. The salad is soaked in the fat from the fried potatoes. The schnitzel was cold. Ordered the second beer during the meal. This came after just 20 minutes, but only because an attentive waiter asked again and organized a beer straight away. There is only one star because of the last circumstance, they tried hard.

The asparagus was inedible, hard as a bone, after our complaint they just said I'd pass it on to the kitchen, something like that doesn't work and nothing more came from him, then when we left these restaurants we asked the boss again about his colleague's way of working, we didn't feel like we were being taken seriously, we weren't interested in getting something for free but a small gesture would have been nice enough, we definitely won't be coming back, it's a shame poor customer service, it wasn't cheap either then you'll ignore it if that were the case! Ps the reaction was to be expected from the owner but firstly it's normal in a restaurant for a waiter to come by and ask if everything is OK but no one came and we ate part of the asparagus out of politeness, it's a shame that you deal with a customer complaint like that instead of training your staff but it doesn't matter we'll never come back and wish you much success! How beautifully written, we didn't want any money back or anything, just the reaction left us speechless, a small gesture would have been enough!!!!!!

Tennis Club's New Year's Party At first, I thought it might not be fancy and festive enough, but as the evening progressed, I fell more and more in love with this party hut, as it creates a relaxed atmosphere and allows for casual celebrations.

We spontaneously ate at the restaurant on a Sunday and were very disappointed. The fried potatoes were burnt black, served carelessly, we had to leave half of them... we complained about it and we got it Discount on the invoice. The garden is very nice, but the chairs are old and uncomfortable, you can get seat cushions that are very dirty and stained. You can park outside for free, spaces are limited. Staff seems stressed. We won't come back for dinner.

Good food certainly better than in the center and affordable, but not quite top. Wine arrangement is a bit meager (half glasses, certainly for local standards). Service friendly and adequate.
