Great menu at the murder mystery dinner

Beautiful location by the lake. We sat on the terrace in summer and inside in winter. There were four of us for a goose dinner. A very tasty, large bird with plenty of side dishes at a reasonable price.

A wonderful, rural location by the lake with simple but tasty dishes. The location is particularly suitable for hikers who want to explore the nearby lakes. We always enjoy coming here.

Sehr schade ---> Öffnungszeit beginnt erst um 14 Uhr.... Eigentlich wollten wir nach einem Spaziergang dort auf der Terrasse einen Kaffee trinken und zu Mittag essen. Der Aussenbereich (Parkplatz, Vorderansicht des Restaurants) macht einen vernachlässigten Eindruck. Es gibt mehrere marode Gebäude wie Schuppen oder Garagen. Alles sieht so aus, als müsste mal dringend Unkraut gezupft werden und als wenn ein neuer Anstrich dringend benötigt würde. Für den ersten Eindruck gibt es keine zweite Chance....

In the summer, outside in the beer garden by the lake... - beautiful. Very friendly and well-coordinated service. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

That was my last visit. We were with a group. Everyone had almost finished their food before I got mine, after two complaints. Nothing elaborate, just a rump steak. Carelessly slammed onto the table without an apology. And the worst part came when I paid. I paid for a meal I didn't order. By the way, this was my second time at this restaurant. So, check it off and no recommendation.

We celebrated our wedding at Heidweiher about two weeks ago – and it was simply perfect. The location is stunningly beautiful, and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was first-class, and the food was very, very good. We felt absolutely comfortable and welcome there. We have been guests at Heidweiher several times before and were thrilled every time. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team.

Beautifully situated on the Heidweiher pond. Very pleasant both inside and out. Very popular, and many cyclists frequent the area. Reservations are recommended during peak times.

We were unlucky and will give the restaurant a second chance. The Sunday we were there, it was absolute chaos because the staff were unavailable. We left without anything to eat because we didn't want to cause any more stress for the staff.

Simply delightful, the pond and the surrounding area are a magical reminder of times long past and the small locality with delicious cake and coffee fits lovingly into this picture

A beautifully located restaurant right by the Heidweiher lake, with lovely outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and always up for a laugh. We highly recommend this restaurant. We were there for the third time today, and the fresh salads were also excellently dressed. We'll be happy to return. Hats off to this cuisine.

We had schnitzel/chips, love the idea of a salad bar where you help yourself, great idea! Good view over the lake. Swimming next door in the beach area (seperate entrance). Cool bananas.

A very nice restaurant on a pond with lots of beautiful flora all around. The food was very good quality and delicious. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. Everything was served by friendly and nice people. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Small restaurant on the edge of a small lake (outdoor swimming pool). German specialties, we opted for a schnizel, a cordon bleu and a potato 🥔. Each dish comes with a salad that we have to compose ourselves at the salad bar (I loved the cucumbers in the little sauce) 😇✨️. Good food and ambiance. However, at the entrance, there was a rotten wooden table with the words "Please wait" written on it. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the slogan for the rest of the evening. 😬 We waited about an hour, and were served without forks. Tiny portion of ketchup and mayo, the food was very tasty. Unfortunately, service has become lacking. It was difficult to order a drink. Well staffed, but no view to the left or right. A table on the lakeside terrace was refused, as it was reserved. However, after a two-hour stay, the tables remained empty. Upon inquiry, it was explained that the guests who had reserved had been seated elsewhere. Overall, it wasn't particularly busy. In the men's restroom, there was an empty paper towel dispenser and a trash can overflowing. Card payments can only be made in the restaurant. The beer garden is still missing a mobile cash machine. Too bad, it used to be really recommendable 😕. A smile for the guest on the faces of the staff would have been nice.😊

This restaurant was just our meeting place for a survival weekend; I can't say anything more about it, partly because it wasn't open at the time. It's off the road, on the edge of the forest.

I went to the asparagus buffet. The asparagus was mushy, impossible to cut, the potatoes were cold, and the dessert wasn't refilled. I was very disappointed and can't recommend it.

A fantastic restaurant, especially recommended for those with celiac disease! Gluten-free dishes can be safely prepared, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food simply tastes amazing! Prices are also perfectly reasonable; we'll be back!

A wonderful experience – highly recommended! We organized a small celebration for my dad's 70th birthday for 15 people at very short notice – and the restaurant made it all possible! The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and well-organized. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. Despite the spontaneous planning, everything went smoothly. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we felt completely at home. A big thank you to the entire team – we were very satisfied and would love to come back!

The grill plate was ok, but nothing more. The wedges were definitely too dry and the pork fillet was barely seasoned. The friendliness of the service made up for almost being thrown out at 9:20 p.m. We came here on a recommendation and will try it again in the summer.

After the meal we cleared away and if we wanted any more drinks we had to pay attention to when the waitress was nearby. No asking if anyone would like another coffee or dessert. A tip for everyone who cannot tolerate gluten in their food. But dishes containing gluten are also well prepared and seasoned. In summer you have the opportunity to spend time outside with a view of the pond. Overall a nice location.

We went here to eat goose, the goose was really tasty, the side dishes tasted very good and were always replenished. The price-performance ratio including red wine was top. A clear recommendation.😋

My wife and I have been going to Restaurant Am Heidweiher for many years, and for several reasons. It starts with the very large number of free parking spaces (I estimate at least 80 - 100). When we return after a hike around Lake Borner and Lake Harik, we are always greeted by a friendly employee and shown to our table that we had reserved in advance. And now we come to point two, the friendliness of everyone working here. No matter how many guests are present, we are always met with a smile on our faces. The very good food is the third point. Over the years we have tried many dishes from the menu and have never had any reason to complain. Currently there is also an asparagus menu in addition to the normal menu. And the baked asparagus rolls are my absolute favorite at the moment. Nice excursion restaurant in the countryside with outdoor dining and located directly on the lake with swimming options. The restaurant offers hearty dishes as well as coffee and cake. We were there in the afternoon and tried the cake. Delicious! Friendly service and quick service rounded off our visit. Also ideal for cyclists and hikers.

I ordered a salad with smoked salmon for 16.90 euros. Lots of green salad was served with 4 slices of cucumber, 2 pieces of tomatoes, some smoked salmon and 3 slices of baguette. When I asked, OK, this is correct, I was told that this is normal. My husband had three pork medallions with fries and was able to put together a great salad at the buffet. For two euros more. Find the error!!!

Wir haben gestern einen sehr schönen Abend hier verbracht. Das Restaurant liegt direkt am Heidweiher neben dem Freibad. Wir haben auf der Holzterrasse direkt am/über dem See gesessen. Der Ausblick ist wirklich sehr schön. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen Grillteller, ein Schnitzel Wiener Art und dazu eine Beilagenportion frische Pfifferlinge. Die Portionen waren ansprechend groß und das Fleisch beim Grillteller auf den Punkt. Die Pfifferlinge waren sehr sehr lecker, alleine für diese lohnt sich das Wiederkommen. Den Beilagensalat kann man sich selbst am Buffet zusammenstellen, es gibt eine kleine Auswahl an verschiedenen Sachen inkl. leckerer Antipasti. Der Service war sehr schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich. Bei dieser Qualität des Essens und der tollen Lage werden wir bald wiederkommen.

Everything comes together here, a fantastic location, beautiful entertainment, friendly staff and good bourgeois cuisine. Worth a repeat. This owner can really be proud of his property and staff.

We have known about gastrpnomia for a long time and are always thrilled. Since we have children with us and they have a playground next to the outdoor dining area, we are guaranteed a certain amount of peace and quiet during our stay. Service was always customer-oriented, polite and helpful when there were questions about food.

We have been here many times and everything was great, but this time our food (for 4 people) was forgotten. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress after 1 3/4 hours, they just pressed around and looked for a reason. We didn't get an apology, even when we said goodbye, nothing came from the waitress. Actually, one would have expected at least one free drink, but no, the additional drinks order was forgotten. If the waiter hadn't been so unreasonable and stubborn, I wouldn't have written this bad review.

The food was good. The hot stone is a nice idea and should be promoted more.

If you want to enjoy delicious asparagus, then the best place is at the Heidweiher in beautiful surroundings with the home-made hollondaise sauce from the great chef Mr. D. 😋

Many thanks to the whole Heidweiher team. It's my birthday celebrated there. I would especially like to thank the chef for the gluten-free food. Anyone who has celiac disease knows that it is not always easy to find a place where you can eat without worries.

Very nice location by the lake. Great ambience. Very friendly service. Uncomplicated reservations and individual requests can be accommodated without any problem. Dogs are allowed. Delicious food and fair prices. We like to go here more often. Portions are sufficiently large.

Leider nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Die Kellnerin warf mein Glas um, was passieren kann. Sie wischte halbherzig die Flüssigkeit auf, Scherben wurden z T. auf dem Tisch und am Boden liegen gelassen. Der nasse Untersetzer wurde wieder hin gelegt, statt ausgetauscht. Besteck wurde nach der Vorspeise mitgenommen und kein neues gebracht. Erst nach Aufforderung als der Hauotgang schon da war. Mein Lachssteak war leider nur ein normales Stück Lachs, sehr salzig. Den Nudeln mit Pesto fehlte leider jede Würze und waren lauwarm. Der Lachs z T eher roh statt glasig. Die Bratkartoffeln meiner Begleitung hatten Speckwürfel, die so hart wie Steine waren. Der Service war kaum sichtbar. Leider haben sowohl Essen als auch Service nachgelassen. Schade. Eigentlich ein schön gelegenes Lokal, was meine Eltern früher gerne und regelmäßig besucht haben.
