Addendum to the review: Unfortunately this restaurant no longer exists. No comparison to the former Markusquelle, nice service, super tasty food of top quality. Unfortunately, the restaurant/beer garden doesn't open until 5:00 p.m., at lunchtime only the "sausage window" around the corner is open with bar tables, otherwise I would definitely have been there more often.

The service wasn't really fit or had too many tables to "work on".

Charming traditional Frankfurt restaurant, with a friendly staff, delicious cuisine, rustic outdoor area, good prices. Wow! How unfortunate that this gem will close at the end of 2025. All the best!

Dîner du 19/03/25, L'endroit est bien situé dans une petite rue typique allemande peu passante pas très loin de l'arrêt de tram. L'accueil est très bien, la serveuse très sympathique qui parle anglais. L'attente était moyenne, c'est peu être le seul bémol. Tous les plats commandés étaient très bon avec une mention spéciale au veau zurichois. En conclusion : je recommande.

I like to give credit where it is due, but on a first visit, I'm cautious to give the maximum. But we had a lovely meal in a relaxed bar, with great service. Looking forward to seeing you on March 21 for the Irish night!

Very tasty breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommended for a Sunday brunch.

We came here very early before an event on a Thursday, so no reservation is necessary. It's definitely recommended for later and on weekends. They serve typical Ebbelwoikneipe specialties and even wine. The service was very friendly, and the food came quickly. The schnitzel was delicious; I've definitely had larger portions of Handkäs with better bread for the price. One criticism is that you can only pay in cash; that's simply no longer appropriate in 2025.

It was a wonderful evening, and they even sang a special birthday song for my dad. We had a really nice waiter (Serkan) who organized everything. Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back.

Mediocre lunch menu and non-transparent pricing

A rustic authentic Frankfurt apple wine restaurant. The ambience is exactly what you want. Simply honest and not artificial. The Ebbelwoi tastes good, the food is also good, even if it's not a highlight, the service is fast, you just feel comfortable here. Thumbs up!

I can't understand the good reviews here. Even under the unfriendly previous landlord, the pub could not be recommended. After the change we gave Momberger a new chance, but I can't believe that. The service is curt, the hand cheese was crumbly and the snow flurry was dry. There is no more vegetarian choice, I'm not even talking about vegan options. Okay, the price-performance ratio is better than in the city and the alternatives in the district are limited, which probably explains the very high number of visitors.
