Food came quickly and large portions. We both had the Frankfurter Schnitzel. Service staff was very friendly.

The chicken schnitzel Frankfurt style was the best schnitzel I’ve ever had, and the potatoes were excellent, too. There is a 30€ card minimum.

Since it was lunch and I'm not used to eating lunch at all, I wanted to order a children's portion. Since there is no senior portion, I was told, we can do it, but it costs an extra €3 😳 WHY???? No explanation 🤷🏻‍♀️ In the back area in this weather, very unpleasant temperatures, the air is stagnant, no breeze, nothing, you could think about a climate, especially with the prices, which in my opinion are very uncalculated, chicken slices are more expensive than zander, huh? The waitress wanted to be fun today, which she couldn't do 👎🏼 On the subject of card payment, it was only after we asked that it was said that this was possible, but only from €30 onwards. If you didn't get this, you could think about TIP, sorry, that's a no go. Unfortunately you don't get a receipt either, only upon request, sorry, where can you get something like that. The drinks weren't exactly cold in this heat... praise goes to the kitchen, the food tasted good

Large portions and great food. I really liked the Frankfurt-style schnitzel.

Wir haben das Restaurant als Familie mit sechs Personen zum Mittagessen besucht und waren insgesamt enttäuscht. Die Bedienung war leider sehr unmotiviert und unaufmerksam. Das Essen kam in durchschnittlicher Zeit, hat aber geschmacklich nicht überzeugt. Die Getränke waren leider zu warm. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut nicht. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass dem Wunsch nach einer Rentnerportion für eine erwachsene Person nur gegen Aufpreis entsprochen wurde. Dies empfanden wir als pauschal und diskriminierend, da die kleinere Portion aufgrund des Alters verwehrt oder teurer angeboten wurde. Eine Mitnahme der Reste war für uns keine Option. Sehr schade.

I was here a while ago, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The inn is also central to the ECB and not far from the Main.

Unfortunately there are no negative stars. Aperol Spritz bland and not in the usual form. Served without ice cubes and still just a watery broth. But it's not worth the full price. No invoice received. Fibrous answer to demand. Thank you never again!

Excellent food and friendly service

One of the best Schnitzel I ever had. The beer was a little bit warm, but the place was scorching hot, though. The dessert, some pancake bites with vanilla sauce are superb.

Hyggelig restaurant, som var virkelig populært, maden var virkelig lækker, vi fik en virkelig velstegt bøf. Tjeneren var lidt fortravlet.

The staff forgot about our order and only after an hour (the expiry of reservation) did they realise that no one processed our order. It wasn't a busy time at that moment and they didn't forget to charge us for the drinks... To make matters worse, this is the second time it happened to us, since we were already there before and the order was forgotten too, but we figured it can happen to anyone once, so we went there again. I can't comment on food because, unfortunately,I never got the opportunity to taste it. Hopefully they will improve on this issue.

Outstanding service and incredible food. Very good waitresses and very patient with my broken if non-existent German. I love this place! I will be back before I go back to the US!

Real local place, great food, service, and price..

They brought me burger with hair and there was a mouse running under the table. Sounds like a joke but it’s not.

We pre-booked as a party of eight. Coming from the exhibition halls after a long day. This place was busy with locals which is always a good sign. The service and people were fabulous. We weren't so much served as looked after. That's despite being full. Goodness, they were working hard. Food was very generous, honest, nicely presented and tasty, plus the beer was cold. Everyone had a great time. I'm sure we will be back there next time at the Messe.

Delicious dishes at moderate prices, a lot around €20, meat/steak sometimes a little more expensive, but within reason. Good service, only when it's very busy you need patience and if you're unlucky you won't get a salad.

The service is super rude, they were racist because we were spanish. I wouldn’t recomend this to any foreigner, they pretty much insult you.

Food was ok only except that the schnitzel was on the dry side. We asked for chilli sauce and the waitress gave us a saucer. After we finished it, we asked for more chilli sauce. The waitress gave a flabbergasted look and told us we needed to pay for the chilli sauce. They charged us €3.50 for the small saucer which is really quite ridiculous. But the waitress’s attitude was what made the overall experience bad. Edit: you can even tell from their reply that their service is not customer-centric. Incredibly arrogant and unapologetic. And please we can tell it is not homemade chipotle sauce. It is just thai chilli sauce you can get from the supermarket easily. In Singapore almost all restaurants give free sauce at zero additional cost. If it is special it should be clearly stated on the menu.

Wait staff has an incredibly rude attitude towards American non-German language speakers, had no problem making fun of our lack of German speaking skills to other wait staff literally in front of us while they were taking our order. Beer is nothing special, outdoor patio is a mess, and the wait staff would rather stand outside vaping than doing their jobs. We had to wait a very long time (close to 20 min) to get their attention to even pay our tab (2 BEERS, THAT WAS IT) if I could give this place less than a 1-Star rating, I would, no second thoughts. I would highly suggest if you are visiting Frankfurt from outside Germany and are not able to speak German fluently, do everything you can to avoid a terrible experience. Just a warning.

I arrived hungry and had to leave hungry. There would be no more room for me. Admittedly, the place was pretty full. But there were some tables of four with only two people sitting at them. I know that when you ask a person, then the service department asks whether you can add that person.

A perfect German restaurant with a German atmosphere, the fried knuckles are very delicious.

This place was good, but not great. That is, you will eat well here, but it probably won't be the highlight of your time in Frankfurt. The staff was nice. If you're in the area, it's a good place to grab some Frankfurt schnitzel with green sauce.

We were able to spontaneously get a table at the inn on the Ostend at the weekend and I have to say that the schnitzels were really excellent. The cheese spaetzle was also very tasty and both portions were more than enough. The two service staff were also very friendly and very friendly to us, although there were some disagreements between us that we noticed. All in all it was a nice evening for us. Thank you.

Really delicious, home-style food! You get full and leave happy :-) We had the BBQ schnitzel and the Swabian pan - both really tasty and the homemade spaetzle with the cream sauce was bomb. The pork medallions were also very well fried and not chewy at all. Great atmosphere, card payment possible. Service very friendly and accommodating.

This was my second time there and the schnitzels tasted great. I'd love to come back👍. It is advisable to reserve in advance as it fills up pretty quickly at lunchtime and there may not be enough space.

Im Wirtshaus waren lediglich 2 Tische besetzt, wir mussten aber 10 Minuten warten bis uns die Kellnerin im letzten Eck einen Platz zuwies ( in der Zeit zählte sie ihr Trinkgeld und unser Sohn musste auf seinen Krücken stehend warten). Nachdem sie und in der hintersten Ecke platziert hatte und uns die Speisekarte hingeworfen hat, bediente sie einen Stammgast, brachte ihm innerhalb 2Minuten sein Getränk und unterhielt sich mit ihm. Dann räumte sie draußen Tische ab, als wir nach 15 Minuten fragten, ob wir etwas bestellen könnten, raunzte sie und an die hätte zu tun und wäre alleine.Daraufhin haben wir das Restaurant verlassen. Wir waren definitiv nicht willkommen.

Were there during trade fair times. Still got a table. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. Rarely such great service! The food was delicious. 50€ for 3 people with a meal and a small meal.

Cozy, modern inn in Frankfurt Ostend, where you should make a reservation even during the week. I ate the Frankfurter Schnitzel with lemon, homemade green sauce and fried potatoes with bacon for €19.80. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get just one schnitzel instead of two, because the portion is very large. I didn't like the naturally cloudy draft beer and the wooden bench is tolerable if you can get a seat cushion. Overall, the restaurant is also recommended for groups due to the large tables.

Bestellt hatte ich ein Bauernschnitzel mit Zwiebeln, Spiegelei, Bratkartoffeln und Bacon. Von der labbrigen Grünbeilage mal abgesehen, lies der Teller Gutes erwarten. Leider schmeckten Schnitzel und Panade völlig neutral. Ebenso die Bratkartoffeln. Zum ersten Mal habe ich mein Essen nachgesalzen und zwar nicht zu knapp. Die beiden Damen vom Service waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Das rettet die Bewertung ein bisschen. Geschmeckt hat es mir trotzdem nicht.

The service was very quick and attentive. I had a Viennese style schnitzel with fried potatoes. The meat was very tender and tasty.

I've been here many times and the food has always been excellent. Unfortunately, on about 1/3 of my visits, the service was noticed as being unprofessional. Even after a very good meal, that puts a damper on your mood. Danger! Unfortunately, it is only pointed out when paying that (EC) card payments are only possible from €30. This is really outdated.

Schöne Location, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Unser Essen. Hirschgulasch. BBQ Schnitzel und Steak, waren sehr gut und perfekt zubereitet. Pommes, Bratkartoffeln und Spätzle, waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Service hätte ein wenig "begeisterter" über die Kundschaft sein können;) Luft nach oben gibt es bezüglich Service auf jeden Fall. Ansonsten, alles bestens und wir kommen gerne wieder!! Danke!!

My dining experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. The food, particularly the salad and dumplings, fell short of expectations – the salad lacked freshness, and the dumplings were rather unappetizing. Surprisingly, the only saving grace was the dessert. However, the evening took an unpleasant turn when we spotted a mouse in the restaurant. Despite bringing it to the staff's attention, their response, claiming it's a common occurrence in Germany, left us quite shocked. Our extensive travels in various German cities had never exposed us to such a situation before
