First time there, on the way from Karlsruhe and I really struck gold. Incredibly nice staff, warm, fantastic and fresh food and more than fair prices. Much love for this shed, it's a shame we don't have anything like it!

The green sauce is very tasty and without mayo, thank you very much, is rare today. Schnitzel nice and juicy and lean. Everything very well seasoned. A lot of it is made in-house, the owner is very attentive and friendly, that's how it should be. Thanks for the delicious food, we'll be back.

I visited Frankfurt for the first time and had my first experience with German cuisine at this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious, and it made me fall in love with Germany. The service was also exceptional, making my first day of travel a wonderful memory. I hope to come back and eat here again someday!

It was a hot day when we visited the restaurant. When we entered, the staff were very welcoming and were happy to welcome children as guests. For the little ones there is a shelf with toys to keep them busy and a sandpit in the cordoned-off outdoor area. The children received A1 service. Children's chairs and children's cups were made available to us without asking. The staff were very attentive and thought of everything. Satisfying the children's needs and making them happy was extremely important to them. In between they even played with the children. The kids thought that was really cool. Despite the hot weather, we opted for an indoor table. The climate was pleasant. Nevertheless, they had placed several fans around the table for us to get a little refreshment and cooling down. We were very surprised by the unexpected, kind gestures. Our well-being was very important to them and we were very grateful! The food was very tasty. The portions are large. The price-performance ratio is right. There is nothing to complain about. It was an unforgettable evening with great hosts. A thousand thanks to the lovely team! Thank you for your hospitality and your outstanding service! We can only recommend you. We can recommend it to families with children! Come over. We look forward to your next visit!

We were in Frankfurt Oberrad again, our food was simply delicious, Viennese veal schnitzel and a cordon bleu starter, asparagus cream soup very tasty and creamy, the service was very courteous and extras were fulfilled immediately. The food is highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Abend! Als Hamburger wollten wir uns von lokaler Küche überzeugen lassen und das wurde übererfüllt! Ein großartiger Gastgeber hat uns herzlichst in Empfang genommen und wirklich schmackhafte Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Die grüne Soße war der Hit und auch das Pferdegulasch hat uns überzeugt. Zum Abschluss eine Frucht in Calvados und dann noch bei frühlingshaften Temperaturen draußen gesessen! Ein toller Abend!

The food was tasty and the portion was big enough. Service was really good and really nice. Unfortunately there are hardly any parking spaces nearby, but there is a stop right in front of the door.

Green sauce and more a unique item right on the market square!! And the name says it all - there is much more than just the best green sauce around, there is also a warm welcome for everyone who comes by, there is always a good-humoured, friendly service, there is a great selection of drinks, There is a cozy room furnished with an eye for detail, there is a great terrace and all the other dishes besides the green sauce are more than excellent!! All in all great, always happy!! :)

At first I just went to drink a beer, as I was cycling and it was a very hot day, but when the friendly owner realized that I was a tourist he offered me a small portion of Grüne Soße to try, saying that it was typical of Frankfurt. The sauce really is very tasty. Then he asked if I knew Apfelweine, also typical of the region, so he also offered me a small sample to try, it really is very tasty and refreshing. In short: I just stopped to drink a beer and left eating a tasty Schnitzel with potatoes, accompanied by Grüne Soße and a refreshing Apfelweine! Tasty food and excellent service!

I come from northern Hesse and was in FFM for a few days for work. I spontaneously took the S6 from the main station in about 25 minutes. Was very satisfied, the host was relaxed and nice. Food and drinks were top. I'll definitely be back 😄👍🏻

I visited due to all the positive reviews and I was not disappointed! The schnitzel with grüne soße was delicious and was a very generous serving size. I had never tried apfelwein before, but I was given three glasses to try that were all made differently. The staff were very kind, welcoming and the service was exceptional. It has been one of the best dining experiences in my Europe trip, if I am to visit Frankfurt again I will make sure to be back!

Very friendly service. Price-performance is also right. Portions rather very large. It's worth making a reservation on the weekend, but you can also find space spontaneously. The menu offers many different dishes. Everyone will find something here. It's practical that the tram leaves in front of the door. Card payment is not a problem, but no payment with American Express worked, even though it says so online.

A German restaurant in the green district of Oberrad (Frankfurt) where the classic herbs for the Green sauce can be grown! A new beginning after New Year's Eve caused by a fire disaster becomes a classic adventure for old and new friends Hessian cuisine with an international reputation! Garden with a view of the growing areas of the 7 herbs!

Celebration with 25 guests was canceled three weeks in advance because renovations (not previously mentioned) would take longer. Hopefully the extraction system in the kitchen will also be replaced at this time so that the constant smell of old grease disappears. P.S. After New Year's Eve you replied to me about the offer - there was no mention of renovation work. Only when it came to prices (buffet prices higher than plate prices!) did you cancel.

Nur der Geruch auf den (sonst sehr sauberen) Toiletten ist abschaffungswürdig. Nachtrag 09.09.2023: Waren heute nochmal vor Ort. Kompliment an den mega KOCH 🧑‍🍳 Das Essen war Sau leckaaa… Klassisch typisch hessisch Gerichte wie man es kaum besser zubereiten und anrichten kann Meine Gäste und ich waren mega zufrieden Die Service Kräfte waren total herzlich man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt ( wie dahooom ) und haben einen super Service gemacht Super laden …den haben wir direkt fest in unsere Kartei aufgenommen. Getränke alles was das Herz begehrt!! DER WIRT LIEBT SEINEN JOB!! WAR EIN GELUNGENES FEST!! DANKESCHÖN!!! DAS EINZIGE WAS MICH NICHT SO GANZ ÜBERZEUGT HAT . ...IST DER AUSENBEREICH!!!! DA KÖNNTE MAN NOCH MEHR MIT ETWAS GRÜNEM NACHHELFEN UND EIN PAAR BEPFLANZUNGSKÄSTEN AUFSTELLEN!! No Boddy is perfekt!!

Lecker Essen netter Chef und nette Bedienung. Wir hatten schnell unsere Getränke und auch das Essen kam zügig. Es hat hervorragend geschmeckt und der Preis war mehr als angemessen. Wir waren auf der Durchreise von Kreta nach Hamburg.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 14 Personen am Sonntag Mittag zum Essen dort. Die Bedienung (oder Chefin?) war alleine und hat uns super freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker, schön angerichtet und frisch zubereitet. Großes Lob von mir und allen Mitreisenden. Das war der krönende Abschluss eines erlebnisreichen Wochenendes in Frankfurt.

Vielen Dank für das mega leckere Essen und die sehr freundliche Bedienung 👍Sie hat eine super Arbeit gemacht, hat uns durchweg sehr gut versorgt und war immer sehr freundlich. Cordon Bleu und Wienerschnitzel waren super lecker. Danke an den Koch 👌Preise sind ebenfalls super. Parkplätze findet man in der Nähe. Das Restaurant kann ich somit nur empfehlen. Leider wohnen wir in der Nähe von Stuttgart, sonst würden wir sicher öfters dort einkehren. Aber wenn wir wieder einmal in der Nähe sind, wissen wir wo wir essen werden. Macht weiter so!

Der Besitzer ist meega nett und hat mir direkt n probiererle Apfelwein angeboten weil es mein 1. Tag in Frankfurt war. Kann das Lokal nur empfehlen. Sehr breites Bier Sortiment und günstige Preise. Die Schnitzel sind auch in allen Variationen erhältlich. 5 Sterne für dieses Gastronomie Erlebnis!

Es gibt dort sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service ist auch immer Prima, Sie sind dort sehr aufmerksam so das man sehr gut und schnell bedient wird. Das Restaurant selbst liegt in einer guten Lage in Frankfurt Oberrad nicht Mutter in der City aber immer noch sehr zentral gelegen. Grade in den Sommer Monaten ist es auf der kleinen Terrasse unter den Schirmen sehr gut aus zu halten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich immer.

My wife and I were unfortunately derailed after a missed connecting flight through Frankfurt. We happened on this restaurant in hopes of a good Schnitzel and beer and ended up getting that and much more! Our server, Kai, (the owner I believe?) was hilarious and made excellent recommendations on food and drink. We told him it was our first time in Frankfurt and he went the extra mile to make it a worthwhile experience, which included allowing us to try sample local beers and liquor :). It turned what could have been an unfortunate experience into a night we will never forget.

Freunde und ich wollten nur kurz auf einen Äppler vorbeikommen. Der Wirt hat uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und auch den gesamten Abend über super bedient. Gekoppelt mit einer tollen Atmosphäre verging die Zeit sehr schnell und wir hatten viel Spaß. Sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren als Familie dort und wollten das Essen probieren,um zu schauen ob es für eine Hochzeit passt. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles was uns serviert wurde war perfekt. Selbst mich als sehr kritischen Menschen hat es zu 100 Prozent überzeugt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und sehr locker drauf. Ich fand es vom Chef, Kai Abicht, toll, dass er seine Küchencrew holte damit wir unser Lob direkt aussprechen konnten. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und die Preise passen. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir werden in jedem Fall wiederkommen und Freunde mitnehmen.

Ich komme immer wieder gerne her! Selbst als Vegetarier hat man hier genug Auswahl und wenns mal was neues sein darf Zaubert der Koch auch gerne spontan etwas Neues, das nicht auf der Karte steht. Genauso mixt der Barceeper super leckere Cocktails. Ich kann nur empfehlen der "Soße" einen Besuch abzustatten, vorallem an Festen wie dem St.Patricks Day. Die Musik ist große klasse :)

A stylish restaurant with great outdoor area on a pretty square in Oberrad serving typical local food and of course the Frankfurter speciality "Gruene Sosse" (Grüne Soße). There is also a wide range of beers, wines and cocktails. The service is attentive and friendly.

Der Platz in Oberrad ist an einem Samstagmittag gut belebt, daher hat man auch immer was zu schauen. Der Service war flott, sehr gut gelaunt und wirklich nett, was man ja nicht überall hat, also prima! Die Namensgebende Grüne Soße hingegen, fand ich jedoch als Frankfurter Grüne Soße-Liebhaber etwas, sagen wir mal, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sie schmeckte zwar gut, erinnerte mich/uns aber eher an eine „Kräutersauce“, die zudem offenbar ohne gehackte hartgekochte Eier und vermutlich auch ohne Senf zubereitet war. Die restlichen Gerichte aus der Pfifferlingskarte waren lecker, der oder die Köchin/Koch weiß wie man kocht. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Die grüne Soße muss an einem anderen Tag nochmal getestet werden.

Klare Empfehlung - hier kann man gut und preislich angemessen Essen und Trinken! Ambiente hervorragend und das Team, sowie die Küche ist einfach super! Wer leckere Küche in guter Gesellschaft haben möchte ist hier richtig! Da direkt am Buchrainplatz gelegen perfekt angebunden und schnell zu erreichen! Danke, wir kommen wieder! ;)

Die gut sortierte Speisekarte lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Sehr leckeres Bier, endlich mal ein Lokal ohne das ungeniessbare Schöfferhofer. Der Service ist immer schnell und sehr freundlich, der Laden ist eine klare Empfehlung.

It was our quarterly DL ACS get together - it was decided this time to meet at the “ Grüne Soße und Mehr “ restaurant, check their website the menu is also in English - it serves the typical Frankfurt menu so “ when in Rome do as the Romans do “. We had a table reserved for 10 pers 7pm. First round of drinks and starters were ordered - service was friendly as to be expected. You must try the “ Handkäse mit Musik “ accompanied by a glass of the local “ Apfelwein “ you’ll either hate it or love it!. Two of our colleagues came from as far away as STR ( 2 hrs drive ), so when they arrived we ordered our main course. The choice varied from Frankfurter Schnitzel to mixed grills to spätzle etc. If you fancy something else there’s plenty to choose from. We had such an enjoyable evening being together for the first time in 2019, good food and service helped the time fly ‘till we had to leave at 12pm ( the staff wanted to lock up ). Certainly recommend it - though I should mention the staff can be sometimes forgetful! ​

Professionell, kinderfreundlich und mit einem persönlichen Touch. Unsere Hochzeitsgesellschaft bestand aus 30 Erwachsene plus 5 Kinder. Schon als wir ankamen, wurden wir gleich an der Tür auf's herzlichste mit einem Sektempfang begrüsst. Das hob sogleich die Stimmung, besonders da wir aus dem strömenden Regen kamen. Die Tische waren liebevoll gedeckt und die Blumenarrangements von aller erste Güte –grosses Lob an das Oberräder Blütenzauber! Ein Kindertisch war mit allen erdenklichen Spiel- und Malsachen vorbereitet und für alle Alterstufen war was dabei. Der Inhaber Kai hat sich sogar zu den Kindern gesetzt und zusätzlich für beste Unterhaltung gesorgt. Natürlich waren die Eltern sehr dankbar. Das Essen war super lecker und die Getränke gingen nie aus. Stets hat uns das Team mit Jörg, Sandra und viele andere umsorgt und uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Es war ein rundum gelunges Fest!

Das Lokal war gut besucht wurden aber trotz alle dem freundlich und flott bedient.Getränkepreis frankfurtüblich nicht so geschmeidig aber das hessische Cordonbleu oder das Gulasch vom Pferd sehr zu empfehlen.Auch sonst eine Speisekarte mit vielen leckeren Sachen .Alles kam frisch aus der Pfanne kein Pressfleisch.ES WAR SUPER LECKER....EIN ECHTER GEHEIMTIP

In einer kleinen Ecke der Stadt befindet sich ein einfacher Ort, aber seine Einfachheit schadet nicht seiner Qualität. Die Portion ist angemessen und die Preise sind erschwinglich, der Geschmack ist aber wirklich lecker.
