The food was very delicious, we ordered the knuckle and a plate that includes several sausages. The atmosphere of the place is very nice. Very good service, friendly.

Oasis in the middle of Frankfurt city. Beautiful massive outdoor benches and tables. In the evening with a great rustic atmosphere in the basement. Outside everything is covered with trees. Very good and rich food. Original Balkan and German cuisine. Prices slightly higher, corresponds to big city location. Very nice service and interested in service.

First the positive, the staff is very attentive and friendly! What's less nice are the steep prices. The note on the homepage that these are average ones is a joke. Hand cheese with music, bread and butter costs Euro 12.40. The wine prices are even better. 0.2 liters of Rheinhessen costs euros 10.50; That's exaggeratedly the price of the bottle. It's actually a shame because it's very comfortable here, but not for the average consumer.

One of Frankfurts oldest restaurants. Homebrewed beer (aks for thw Maaß to get a 1 liter mug!), great comfort food at fair prices. If you plan to visit, book a table! And also ask if electronic payment is available. In several of my visits they only took cash. (An atm is around the corner, in a pinch.)

Im Biergarten gegessen und getrunken. Sehr freundliche und engagierte Bedienung, gutes Essen und Bier zu normalen Preisen.

Un sitio ideal para probar comida típica alemana. Sitio muy céntrico a un precio más que razonable. Uno de los camareros majísimo que hizo de nuestra cena aún más auténtica y divertida.

Teil 1 der Reise in die Vergangenheit: Wenn die Preise auch, mittlerweile, ein Standortmäßiges, Niveau erreicht haben, ist alles seinen Preis Wert. Die Haxe hatte, wie es sein soll, Fett und Kruste. Die Apostelplatte ist reichhaltig und gut. Nicht zuletzt ist das Apostelbräu noch genauso süffig und schmackhaft wie früher.

Hatten zwar nur das hausgemachte Bier und Nachtisch, aber das war extrem lecker! Das Essen an den Nebentischen sah sehr lecker (und viel) aus. Toller Service an unserem Tisch. Gelungener Besuch in Frankfurt. Gerne wieder 👍

Delicious German food combined with fast and friendly service.

The food was ok, but not remarkable. The beer was good. The service was good but they were unable to take credit card/debit card payments.

Typical brewery/restaurant offering classic German meals in a traditional setting. Can get busy -I chanced my luck as a sole diner and got a seat inside but if you’re a larger group definitely book. Good portion sizes with the added benefit of the beer being brewed in the establishment. Fair prices for the amount of food.

Wonderful German atmosphere. If you are looking for a traditional experience, beer, or traditional food; this is the place to visit. There is an outside sitting pet friendly area and seats inside if you prefer. I would recommend the pork knuckle with potatoes and a locally brewed beer. Enjoy!

Nach dem JP Morgan Lauf mit der Firma dort gewesen, obwohl einige etwas spät kamen, hat jeder noch etwas zu essen bekommen. Freundliche Bedienungen.

Lieben! Best Schnitzel and Pork knuckles. Make a reservation for outside seating. Service was prompt and food came out quick. Beer and Affelwein were house made. Prices were reasonable.

Best food I’ve had in frankfurt!

Wir waren heute wieder einmal hier zum Essen. Es war wirklich sehr schmackhaft. Mein Steak war auf den Punkt Medium Rear. Die Gastgeber waren alle sehr lieb und trotz der vollen Terrasse kam kein Stress rüber. Seit Jahrzehnten am Platz und sehr zu empfehlen. Reservierung ist angeraten.

Die Haxe schmeckte alt, trocken und überhaupt nicht saftig. Spargel war leider zu säuerlich und hart gekocht. Zum Nachtisch haben wir Kaiserschmarrn bestellt, auch leider sehr matschig und voller Öl. Das einzig Gute war, dass das Essen nicht zu salzig war. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Corte suíno com molho de ervas e o outro foi um corte bovino com molho amadeirado de cogumelos. Ambos pratos muito bons. Corte bem fininho e suculento.

Gutes zünftiges Essen. Allerdings sind die Preise einfach zu hoch. Bei einem Schnitzel sollte der Beilagensalat kostenlos dabei sein (hier 6.5€ extra!).
