If you are a tourist, DO NOT go here. I typically never leave reviews but I have never received such awful customer service in my life. I wanted to change my order from eggs with green sauce to fish with green and the waitress yelled at me in front of the whole restaurant saying I can’t change the order since it’s already in the system. Note that I asked for this change less than 1 minute after the original order and it became a big issue. You would think they would want more money for the fish especially with them knowing I am an obvious tourist. The food was okay but it wasn’t what I wanted so I was not satisfied. Then as I was leaving the restaurant, the waitress proceeded to yell at me again for having a water bottle in her restaurant and that water bottles are for campers. I ordered a glass of apfelwein with my meal so I do not know why she had to yell at me again in front of the whole restaurant that I can’t have my water bottle there after I paid for the service and while I was leaving the restaurant. She also mentioned the water bottle is for campers. Maybe it’s racism, but if you are a tourist or minority, DO NOT go here. There are plenty of other restaurants near by with local German food and more welcoming attitudes.

A place with a good atmosphere. The food is just average (honestly not delicious...) and poor value for money. There was no guidance and it took about 20 minutes to even order. If you are busy, I recommend going elsewhere. Restaurant employees smoke one cigarette every 10 minutes right next to the outdoor table. The total cost of the food was 48 euros, but when I said I would pay with a credit card, they said it would be 50 euros..? (This is the only place I've seen this happen while traveling in Europe for over a month) I don't know if this is discrimination ^^.. There's no reason to go here.

Super friendly, courteous and fast service, even though it was full. I haven't experienced that in a long time, so many people can learn a lesson from that. And of course the food was great too 😊

You can sit very nicely on the terrace. The food came very quickly after ordering and the service was very attentive. However, the food didn't convince me. The ribs were very dry and didn't convince me for the high price of just under €18 (only with bread, no mashed potatoes). The rest of the dishes didn't blow us away either. Very unfortunate

An excellent cider bar with exceptionally friendly and courteous service. In addition to the apple cider and the Frankfurter Schnitzel, we also particularly recommend the perfectly prepared and extremely tender knuckle.

My friends and I just wanted to celebrate a birthday, but unfortunately the evening was spoiled for us. We were hit because we wanted to pay separately. When we said that it was disrespectful to speak like that to customers who pay over €150, Sabine just said that there was no need to talk to her and that she was in charge. Overall we were not valued as customers and I would actually say that Ms. Sabine was extremely disrespectful towards her customers.

I was here with friends, the double Lottchen has a name...Sabine and Silvia...the lively pair of twins are an asset to Frankfurt's gastronomy..Thank you for this top and fast service..I'll be happy to come back.

Was great again. Fast and friendly service despite the heat and rush hour. Food very tasty and portions that also satisfy hungry adults. Äppler - eh fei Stöffsche - a visit is definitely worth it. Large groups should make reservations, but spontaneous events also work. A small point of criticism: EC payment is generally possible. But if the system doesn't work - just say the information sheet at the entrance or before the first order - it would have been nice. Luckily I still had real cash with me. But the positive points see above outweigh the negatives, right😉 And don't forget: the mashed potatoes were a poem!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience, we had the Schlachtplatte and the Spare Rips. Unfortunately, both were completely overcooked and abnormally dry, not to say almost inedible. I'm not very picky, but it was the first time in a long time that I had to leave half a plate uneaten. I am more than disappointed and open that the kitchen is taking this to heart.

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious! When you go there, you should try the typical apple wine and an alcoholic drink with a mirabelle (seen on the last picture)!

Hello, we love apple cider and semolina sauce. Good and I'm happy to pay counterfeit money! BUT today there is a tip with additional services and a dessert. Thanks for the wine and water. Many people also think that the location smells bombastic and appealing, although SGE is not good, it is the best team in Venezuela and Cologne and worldwide, but we hate this Kickers Offenbach! We spent a fun evening here. Sabine and Sylvie are really warm and gave us great service. The knuckle was very tender and the puree was homemade with potato pieces, great! Green sauce was also delicious. It's nice to sit outside here. Gladly again.

We arrived at around 9:45 p.m. and luckily we just got something to eat, remember it's Friday and Euro 24.

The Fichte and the Atschel are part of Dribdebach ebbe. Leggerschmegger. Great hand cheese-class apple wine. What more do you need?

Nice Ebbelwoi meeting point with excellent service and delicious food. The only deduction is the ambience. The air inside is a bit musty and there is smoking in all areas outside, which doesn't make the stay very pleasant for non-smokers. There should also be two areas here or there should be a general ban on smoking. Who wants to have cigarette smoke, e-cigarettes, etc. in their nose while eating?

A beautiful local Frankfurt restaurant. You come in and immediately feel at home. The service is extremely friendly and really puts you in a good mood. The twins are just amazing. The portions are very generous and you will definitely feel full. The prices are very fair and don't go completely over the top like in other areas in Frankfurt. Frankfurter Schnitzel with green sauce and potatoes with two large schnitzels for €19.80. The atmosphere is rustic and homely. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, the green sauce is a poem, nice and fast service. Upon request, there was also a children's portion for an adult, which is not a given everywhere. We will be back!

Nice restaurant but very unfriendly staff tonight. We were there with friends and actually didn't eat much. At the end we were given the bill on the table with the note that for €70 we wouldn't split the bill up but we could do it ourselves. I have to honestly ask myself what this is about. We've been there several times and never had such a problem. Even if the bill wasn't big, something like that just doesn't work.

Simply sensational! Ate very tasty Frankfurter Schnitzel with semolina sauce and fried potatoes, and drank a Bembel Äppler, it was just great. The price-performance ratio is good: schnitzel for around 19 euros is okay. The service was quick, friendly and on point. It was very loud there, but that's part of it. It's so brilliant that every now and then a very nice gentleman in a white coat goes from table to table and offers his baked goods for sale - just great. Where else is that today? Please keep it. It's worth reserving a table. We missed it, but were assigned a table and sat at a long table with other guests, which was very entertaining. The Fichtekränzi is always worth a visit!

Unfortunately, the unfriendly waiters are only interested in quick sales and not in the guest having a good time. As a guest, you are loudly spoken to, so that the whole restaurant can hear that you have to consider the gastronomic goals. There are plenty of other friendlier restaurants in the immediate area. The spruce wreath is NOT! to recommend.

Sat outside on a bful sunny day. Service was really good as waiters kept coming. Food was alright. I had the schnitzel with green sauce. I have had better schnitzel but it wasn’t bad as such. The lighting was pretty for outside with the bulbs hanging. Gave a nice vibe :) Here is video from outside the restaurant.

At first you have concerns as to whether it might not be a tourist trap. But it's everything else. Quaint, original. The service was great, the food was good. And the typical Äppelwoi from Bembel.

We had a good home-style meal here and the service was very friendly and attentive. Reservations are recommended and it is very loud when the guest room is full. The dishes on the Sauson menu are recommended.

It was always one of my favorite places, but almost 20 euros for a pork schnitzel with fried potatoes? It's still a simple meal and pub-like atmosphere

The food was good, but the staff was noticeably unfriendly. Orders were waved away or ignored. Since there are many other cider bars in the area with equally good or better food, as a local I recommend going somewhere else.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. Very sad to see what this store has become. Extremely aggressive operations that are simply not on point. Meals were booked incorrectly several times, almost three times as many medlars as I drank were on the bill and the food was also uniform. The cheese spaetzle was the crowning glory for 17 euros. Baked straight from the bag with tasteless cheese. No trace of onions.

Service was very bad and extremely unfriendly, almost rude. Wrong dishes brought, booked anyway and the food wasn't tasty either.

Service was sometimes aggressive and unfriendly, drinks were booked twice, and sauce on the champion cream schnitzel came out of the bag. All in all not recommended.

We initially were doing to Aschel which alwas rude to us and decided to go there. Experience was fabtastic and friendly. Food is awesome. I recommend schweinshaxe, applewein, onion soup and music cheese.

Liebe Jutta Gorr, Sie müssen einen sehr schlechten Tag erwischt haben! Wir waren gestern Abend dort und waren begeistert. Das Essen schnell und lecker, die Getränke auch. Das Ambiente ist großartig, richtig urig alt. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte nicht den Eindruck einer touristischen Massenabfertigung. Einzig die Toiletten bedürfen einer Renovierung, da gebe ich Ihnen völlig recht.

Urige Apfelwein-Wirtschaft mit tollem Service und sehr gutem Essen. Wir waren Freitagabend ohne Reservierung zu viert vor Ort. Sofort hat der Service versucht für uns einen Platz zu finden. Mit etwas Zusammenrücken auf den Bänken hat das auch sehr gut funktioniert. Obwohl die Wirtschaft voll war, waren die Wartezeiten für Getränke und Essen kurz. Sehr nette Atmosphäre. Wer das ursprüngliche echte Frankfurt kennenlernen möchte, ist hier richtig.

The waiters were very rude and the food was different from what was written in the menu. The outdoor toilet was also a big problem because people kept coming in and out, which resulted in cold air entering the room. After all, glasses were missing from the table and additional mistakes were made in the order.

Eine der ältesten Apfelweinwirtschaften in Frankfurt. Schöne Holzvertäfelungen an den Wänden,prima Schlachtplatte und guter Äppelwoi.Etwas beengte Sitzverhältnisse und bei vollem Haus recht laut. Leider muss man Zeit mitbringen aufgrund der dünnen Personaldecke. Dort kann man gut hingehen, Daumen hoch.

We visited this place on our vacation to Frankfurt. This place is definitely over-rated. When we came in, the waitress told us to sit at the bar (where there were no chairs or room to sit) or outside(it was December and freezing cold). Finally, she told us to sit at a table with two other groups which was fine. However, the plates that we received were not at all what we ordered (we are not German and we noticed that we received worse treatment than the locals). Even though the waiter "noted" our order, we received completely different plates. Finally, when the time came to pay, except for the fact that we had asked the waitress three times, when she finally came, she decided to inform us about the "local customs ". Specifically, even though the waiter didn't bother to bring us the right food, she told us in a what we would call a demeaning way " I don't know where you're from, but here we leave a tip for the kitchen"! We always leave a tip. Overall we found this behavior extremely rude.

Waren hier mit dem Sportkurs zum Weihnachtsgansessen. Sehr lecker und super freundliche, schnelle Bedienung. Sehr gerne wieder.

Toller Laden mit der besten grünen Soße Frankfurts

Urige Apfelweinwirtschaft mit guter Küche und hervorragendem Service. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und uns wurde ein schöner Platz zugewiesen. Unsere Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und auch die Zubereitung unserer bestellten Speisen erfolgte recht zügig. Ebenfalls wurden wir des Öfteren von den sehr freundlichen Servicekräften gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung bei uns sei. Bestellt hatten wir Handkäs mit Musik als Vorspeise und als Hauptspeise Frankfurter Schnitzel mit grüner Soße und Bratkartoffeln. Für uns Südamerikaner war dies das erste Mal, dass wir richtig traditionelles hessisches Essen probierten .... Wir waren begeistert! Vor allem der Handkäs und die grüne Soße waren sehr authentisch und geschmackintensiv. Kommen gerne wieder!🤗

Urige alte Apfelweinkneipe mit gutem Angebot. Die Zwillingsschwestern sind ein echtes Highlight und sorgen mit ihrer lockeren Art für viel Freude.
