Addendum to the review: Unfortunately this restaurant no longer exists. No comparison to the former Markusquelle, nice service, super tasty food of top quality. Unfortunately, the restaurant/beer garden doesn't open until 5:00 p.m., at lunchtime only the "sausage window" around the corner is open with bar tables, otherwise I would definitely have been there more often.

Everything was great, we are very satisfied and recommend the restaurant.

Great food on a quiet afternoon. Definitely go for your grüne Soße! Edit: Replying to your reply. If I went more often, I would have a better idea of what you can do to get five stars! I like to give credit where it is due, but on a first visit, I'm cautious to give the maximum. But we had a lovely meal in a relaxed bar, with great service. Looking forward to seeing you on March 21 for the Irish night!

Excellent food and consistently high quality over the past few years, great, attentive service (very fond of children) and lovely ambience.

Definitely going to eat there again

I was there on September 15th, 2022 and September 3rd, 2024. The staff was very friendly both times. On my first visit I ordered roast pork. It wasn't until some time later that I was told by another waitress that it was sold out. I then ordered the crusted roast from the season menu. The food came quickly and was really, really good and the portion was large. The price was very reasonable. When paying, the waitress told me that cashless payment was only possible for orders over €30. Since I didn't have any cash with me, I was able to pay with a credit card. On the second visit I had a Frankfurter Schnitzel. The portion was large and the quality of the food was very good. I would only put the jar with the green sauce next to the plate and not between the food on the plate. Overall, I am happy to recommend the restaurant and increase my first rating from 4 stars to 5 stars.

A rustic authentic Frankfurt apple wine restaurant. The ambience is exactly what you want. Simply honest and not artificial. The Ebbelwoi tastes good, the food is also good, even if it's not a highlight, the service is fast, you just feel comfortable here. Thumbs up!

The food is really very well done, the service is courteous but not intrusive, so the salad and the Viennese schnitzel are exactly the perfect size and are highly recommended. It was a really nice evening
