Addendum to the review: Unfortunately this restaurant no longer exists. No comparison to the former Markusquelle, nice service, super tasty food of top quality. Unfortunately, the restaurant/beer garden doesn't open until 5:00 p.m., at lunchtime only the "sausage window" around the corner is open with bar tables, otherwise I would definitely have been there more often.

Schnitzel and green sauce Great!

Ich hatte eine grossartige Kürbissuppe. Der Geschmack und die Konsistenz waren aussergewöhnlich gut. Aussergewöhnlich gut sind auch die beiden Damen, die den Service rocken: schnell; freundlich, viel Kommunikation untereinander, damit alles passt. Als Hauptgang hatte ich das Entrecote. Der bestellte Garpunkt passte perfekt. Leider hatten zwei der dazugehörigen Steinpilze eine richtig merkwürdige, fast schon schmierige, Konsistenz. Obwohl geschmacklich völlig ok, hat das die Freude an dem Gericht etwas getrübt. Daher von mir „nur“ 4 Punkte anstelle von 5, die die Gaststätte eigentlich verdient hätte.

The ambience is that of a classic inn with a few beautifully placed modern accents. Here you can eat a good home-style meal, very tasty and also beautifully presented. Classic German/Frankfurt cuisine with European accents here and there. We had various dishes, all of which were tasty. There is something for everyone here, even vegetarians will get their money's worth. So if you are looking for authentic cuisine and rustic cosiness, you should definitely stop by here. A little tip: leave room for dessert, baked medlars!

My wife came across this wonderful restaurant during her Google Maps research. After my marathon we spontaneously went there. And were rewarded with a great taste experience and authentic hosts. If you're looking for the classic blue bezels, you won't find them here. But excellent homemade Äppler, delicious green sauce and excellent boiled beef. Everything at a top price-performance ratio. Absolutely clear recommendation!

Had dinner there with the family yesterday. Rustic atmosphere, very friendly welcome. We had reserved. This is recommended because it was very well attended. Drinks were requested and delivered quickly, The map is varied but not too big, if you don't find what you're looking for it's your own fault. Very attentive service, attention is paid to the little things... "For the child, fries with or without salt?" .. Class! Stay calm and keep an overview despite the full restaurant. The food came quickly and was good. Overall a recommendation. Thanks!

Nice staff and delicious food. I was there in the fall, but the beer garden should be a plus in the summer.

Best apple wine restaurant in Frankfurt

Quaint pub with a suitable ambience. A great service and nice conversation with the owner. We have been to the former owner several times and will happily come back now that it is in new hands.
