Good food, good beer, kind staff and they are dog friendly

It was a great choise! A warm beautiful place in Hamburg. The staff is so kind and helped us to choose the dishes from the menu, even for our daugther.

The decor is a bit quaint. But since June there has been a new owner who has brought a breath of fresh air into the restaurant. The restaurant has a children's menu, cutlery, art supplies and even a variety of children's books, so both kids felt very comfortable. We were spoiled culinary here. There were home-baked breads with butter, hummus and salt. As an amuse: cauliflower “muesli” with apple sorbet and white truffle clay. Followed by marinated goat cheese, smoked heather trout, tenderly braised ox cheeks and Wiener Schnitzel.

Food was brought to the table quickly and tasted good. Our waitress had probably just started there and still had problems taking orders correctly, but I think it will get better after a while. We'd love to come back. Ambiance was rustic but appropriate.

Siamo stati bene in questo ristorante ottimamente posizionato sotto la "Colonnade" nel pieno Centro di Amburgo; il locale all'interno è molto carino ed i tavoli ben distanziati tra loro, cibo gradevole e prezzi adeguati all'ambiente. Volevo dare un giudizio più basso per via del mio piatto sbeccato ma la considero solo una svista e l'ho fatto notare alla Cameriera senza che incidesse sulla mia valutazione complessiva.

The food was horrible. Had the walleye. It's hard to believe that he saw water during his lifetime. Delivered after almost 1.5 hours, presumably kept on the heating plate, it arrived completely dried out. Given the prices that are being quoted, it's a complete disgrace.

Very friendly waitresses combine a very good customer approach with Hanseatic charm with good service even when the house is full. Friends of good home cooking will get their money's worth here. The price/performance ratio is right here and no matter whether it's burgers, schnitzels or other dishes - the cuisine is convincing across the board. We always enjoy coming here.

There were nine of us; Everyone enjoyed it very much, the food was plentiful and we were served very well and friendly. The prices were very accommodating and the food was prepared and served surprisingly quickly. We'd love to come back.

Was there for the Christmas party. The large hall is beautifully decorated. Buffet set up in three rooms. Everything tasted good. The DJ wasn't good at all. (Such bad music) Acoustics too quiet, not enough bass. He needs to get a lot better as a house DJ. The music for dinner was too quiet and bad. And the beer is not drinkable. ASTRA AND LÜBSER DO NOT TAST AT ALL. SPIT OUT IMMEDIATELY AT THE FIRST SIP. Tasted sour and scarf. IT WAS ONLY TOLERABLE AS ALSTER WATER. AS IF THE DISPENSER HAS NEVER BEEN FLUSHED. It's quite nice there for large events But I won't go there privately. No shelter outside the door for smoking You have to stand outside the door in the rain. (I don't smoke) Not nice.

It's a shame that the Eichtalrestaurant is closing.
